Horrible Online Shopping experience with this branch. Firstly, they advertised and sold to me on the online store a product that they did not have in stock. This lead to a 2 week wait. With this wait, I reached out to let them know that I will not be home a certain time during December, can they let me know when the product is back in stock so that we can arrange the delivery.... but still while on holiday, I get a call... they are in front of the gate. After this they called me and scheduled the delivery for a specific date, I waited the whole day, no one showed up. I followed up and they called me the next day, scheduling delivery for 15h00 that same day. No one came. Secondly, I had to have my Bank Card cancelled and replaced due to fraud from the online payment merchant used by Chamberlain. After checkout and payment, random amounts kept going off for 3 days. The bank investigated and found it to be the payment merchant from Chamberlain Online. Never will I trust this hardware store again.

The friendliest service you’ll ever find. Everyone is ready to help. It’s a cool calm shopping atmosphere. Hard to explain. Can they share their hiring secrets please? The staff have a positive authentic attitude and are very knowledgeable. At a time where many businesses have disengaged staff, who make you feel like you’re bothering them when you need help, Chamberlains staff is refreshing. As far as hardware goes, you’ll find what you need. From paint, timber, nails etc. Their differentiator is the great service. My faves are Vincent and Tebogo. Ask for them. Tell them I sent you. Lol!

Am doing a project in linden and I thought let me go to my favourite hardware but to my disappointment the service was really bad. Jack was assisting us who also didn’t know most of what we wanted that after paying we had to return them .we spent almost 4 hours for them to load everything that we bought. The next day I was called that they need to deliver cement to me while I did not even order anything for delivery. Please speak to your team for better service, I always buy at Rietondale chamberlain where the team is so supportive especially Matthews at the builders counter.

We bought 102 glass bricks and the white cement needed to install them from Chamberlains. We had previously tried to source these from several other suppliers but despite others saying they could get them chamberlains were the only supplier able to actually deliver on their promise. They also discounted their prices to match the advertised prices of their competitors. When we found that we had overbought they were great in refunding us fully for our unused cement and glass bricks. Really great supplier who I will definitely use again.

Wide variety of products at affordable prices... the employees/staff members are well trained and very friendly. I was assisted quickly and had what I came for within a few minutes. Check out and pay was easy and the security was also friendly while checking my purchases. They also delivered an order for me earlier the week. The deliveries didn't take long and eventhough they didn't have enough stock of some of my material, they made a plan to bring it from another branch. Very satisfied customer and I recommend them to anyone

Friendly service. The staff are very knowledgeable. I have had a building project on the go for a few years, and I only used Chamberlains. There is always free coffee available and a greeting when you arrive. Free delivery and an annual rebate are a bonus. I would not shop anywhere else for hardware and paint. If I could give this store a -1 I would. A half empty store that didn't have a replacement led driver ( when we bought the bathroom fitting we were assured we won't have to replace the entire fixture), but the salesperson also directed me to the wrong store by promising replacement part. Avoid this store, rather try CTM or Lighting warehouse, at least the sales people do their jobs.

Went to Strijdom Park branch On Saturday 14 May 2022 and what an awesome, friendly and helpful team. We had a long list to get and Jack took us around and explained each item so we could get exactly what we needed. Left the store with a strange warm welcomed feeling that's difficult to explain. Back at the car we sat stunned after they loaded our purchase in awe of the experience.

Great quick and efficient service , the prices are cheaper than Buildwrs Warehouse. I went to Builders express in Bryanston and didnt get any service. As I walked into Chamberlains someone was there asking me how they could assist me .That us what i call service. Quotation was given within 5 minutes and the genteman who helped me was very helpful.

Strubensvalley valley and Ranburg branches are equally useless and let customers wait for more than an hour resolving their internal process. The very same Randburg branch seems to know nothing telling us that we need proper documentation before we collect items that we already paid for. Truelly disappointed with the service received

Though I have to travel some distance to get there, Chamberlains is always worth the service and advice you can expect from store assistants. It is difficult to find hardware stores where your every question is attended to, and patiently. Forget Builder’s Warehouse stores, just head straight to your nearest Chamberlains!

Ok so if you have been here before it's changed, grown and has a lot more to offer . If you haven't been then this is the place to get building, gardening, plumbing, painting and lots more supplies. There is even a coffee shop to relax in-between your shopping. Friendly staff who want to assist and lots of parking

Pure hardware store without the grocery shop sensation. Certainly much less overhead costs than some of your neighborhood hardware stores. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful, prices are competitive and often much cheaper than the competition and product selection is amazing for such a small floor space!!

This branch of Chamberlain is mostly focused on the contractor's trade and stocks a limited range of products that's suitable to their needs. It's however still a great store to shop at for all your property maintenance needs as the quality of their products are great and the prices fair

Except for the physical location of the store everything else is great. Service was fast and friendly, there is a wide selection of items on offer, a fair variety of of hobby tools and a few more industrial toys. Prices are really reasonable. Covid-19 hygiene regulations are applied.

I phoned the store to enquire as to whether they had antracite and they said yes they do have. When we got there, they had no antracite, very frustrating. Chamberlain's Strubens Valley is a much better branch with friendly and helpful staff that know what they are doing

Terrible experience yesterday. Thoroughly regret going there and want to cancel my order for a refund. I already had a quotation when I got there but spent 1hour waiting to pay. They didn't have the stock and started calling suppliers. Very disappointed.

The store used to not have some stock. It's just been recently upgraded. The last time I visited, they were still stocking up the shelves and packing up. Hopefully, it will be more stocked. Otherwise, a great place and staff greatly assist.

Staff are extremely helpful. I purchased a shower-head and had to exchange it. The exchange process was quick and efficient. I also had a query about removing varnish and Cliff was very helpful and also informative. Will certainly return.

Very neat depot for wood etc. Smaller hardware selection than the bigger Chamberlain's but still way better service than Build It because the staff actually know what they're talking about. Just remember they're not open on Sundays.

Best hardware store in the area, after driving to two other hardware stores that were half stocked, we came to Chamberlains and found everything we needed, great service, and even got free cappuccinos before we left! Great Service!

Smaller than your regular Chamberlain but has variety of goods. I was able to return a product hassle free and everyone is very helpful!! I'll definitely buy more from them.
