I ordered ChefGood as a recommendation, The first order of meals were incorrect not what i had ordered however not a big deal, however it caused both my partner and myself to get diarrhea, tmi I know but honestly relevant because we both got it from the meals. We decided we weren't interested in reordering however I couldn't cancel the account because the account screen was locked on the "make payment" screen. I received a message saying the payment was never taken and that payment was due, however as i wasn't interested i never updated the payment details (it's a cancel anytime membership). Even through i never made payment I still received a box on my doorstep accompanied with a nasty text message demanding payment or else it would go to the debt collection! Ive had meal services before and if you don't make payment by the deadline you wont get your meals for that week, simple.. Ive never had a company send something unwanted, without payment and then demand and threaten you for payment. Seems like a scam to get last payment out of people! On the phone to consumer affairs to report the business. Honestly wouldn't recommend, so many better meal services available. Especially as a lot of the meals contain ridiculous chemical colours, flavours and preservatives!

I’ve been getting ChefGood delivered for a little while now. I am 24 years old - I constantly train as fitness is what I’m into. Bouldering, daily runs, strength training, swimming etc. I have tried all of the meal delivery services from MuscleChef to HelloFresh etc. I must say ChefGood definitely takes the cake on this one. The meals are perfectly portioned. Anyone saying that it’s not is simply not used to appropriate portion of food. I have lunch and dinner delivered - high protein snacks in between or even a protein shake in the morning or after training and I’m set for the day. The food is absolutely fresh and tastes great- All of them actually do taste great & they genuinely taste fresh. The guest chefs providing a change every now and then is also great. The south indian prawn and rice especially were amazing. If you’re into fitness, keeping track of what you eat or just don’t have the time to cook due to a busy life. I highly suggest ChefGood. Take it from someone who has spent far too much $ testing all the food delivery businesses. Definitely easy to order and has always been consistent for me. I’ll be a customer for a long time.

I use to use one of the other muscle food delivery services, and I found their meals to be really bland, soggy, and not appetising at all. I decided to give Chefgood a go, and WOW! I am so impressed! I order from their vegan menu, and the meals there are so filling, hearty, and delicious. It's the food I would make at home, if I had the time. The food tastes super fresh, they use fresh produce, and it's so wonderful to be able to save a lot of time shopping and cooking food for myself. All the meals are delivered fresh and not frozen, packaged really well, and delivered on time, by a great delivery driver. I also order their cold pressed juices, and they are also magnificent, and so refreshing and healthy. The ordering process, right through to delivery is so seamless, and I couldn't be happier! I don't know what the other negative reviewers are talking about, because this meal service is fantastic!

I started ordering Chefgood on 16/05/2023. About eight weeks ago, I noticed that they sent 4 out of 7 meals incorrectly. I documented the issue with photos and reported it to their CS team, twice. Both times they were apologetic and ensured me that they would inform the Production area. Another four weeks have gone by and the issue has persisted. The second issue that I noticed is that they sent meals that were due to expire within two days of receiving the box. I have now cancelled my plan. I'm disappointed about the outcome. Service was outstanding when I first started ordering, however a few months after they're all over the shop. As a company, they're not mature enough to have streamlined processes that avoid sending the wrong meals to their customers.

I ordered a free box that I was given and then the next week they charged me $90 and sent another box that I did not want. Tried calling to cancel and get my money back but no one was available. By the time I got through to someone it was too late because the order was scheduled for delivery that day. The man I spoke to was not helpful and reading off a script. I asked if they could pick it back up or I could drop it back somewhere or do anything to get that money back but they offered no helpful resolution and said it’s too late. Now I have a fridge full of meals I didn’t want and out $90 with bills I can’t pay. The first box was good but there’s no way I would ever pay $90 for it. Very over priced

Tried this service after a friend’s recommendation. What a disappointment. Some positives - The order process was smooth and straight forward. The meals arrived on time on Sunday and correctly. The meals are delicious. BUT! The deal breaker for me is how tiny is the serving! I’ve signed up for the regular portion and the portion I got was impossible to stay full on. The rice wasn’t even filled all the way to the top of the container. Just a rip off with the price per meal I’ve paid. I ended up eating two packs per meal. Ended up more expensive than take away. I cancelled my plan very quickly! New subscribers - beware!

My 87 year old mother was confused and ordered food she did not need. We tried to cancel within 25 minutes and were told it was an automated service and there was no way of cancelling the order. Apparently there was no-one at the company who could help with this. The only option offered was a call back from the escalation department who would reiterate there was no way of cancelling the order. It’s a short sighted approach as we won’t order from this company again and will make sure that we will use our social media accounts to publicise the non existent customer service from this company.

The juices are lovely everything else is pretty bland and difficult to eat. The texture and the flavour for the meals was just not good. The gnocchi in particular had a very chemically taste. The risotto had been so over cooked it was like eating rice paste. I wasn’t too disappointed because I got my first box at a discount. Unfortunately I had difficulty finding where to cancel on there website and was charged for another box at full price $88. I’m not a picky eater and have enjoyed other meal delivery services but will probably give the meals away because I won’t eat them.

I tried this company - did not like the food AT ALL went to my portal to cancel and it said no active orders so I thought that was it. No. I ended up with a warm box of food the next week and they kindly charged my card. My bad the first time I should have triple checked - well good luck with that- you can’t get through to either numbers on the site - emails go unanswered- social media goes unanswered - there is no way to stop them! More money came out again today - tried to call AGAIN. No answer. I will have to cancel my card and take them to ACCC

When you purchase, they make you sign up for a weekly subscription but do not make it obvious. When i contacted them, they told me I should have ticked a box at purchase but when i tested it on their website, it doesn't come up for new customers. They also don't make it clear in their emails that you've signed up for a subscription. I asked for a refund for the following box which was a couple of days away given i didn't want it and they refused. I also got food poisoning for one of their meals.

I have enjoyed Chefgood meals for a month now, it definitely has saved me a lot of time not having to food prep anymore and also saved me money on left over ingredients that have often gone to waste. They have a great variety of delicious meals to select from, with a few vegan options as well. It's also great knowing no matter how hectic my day gets I have these tasty, healthy fresh meals waiting in the fridge. It has also helped me stay motivated for my weight loss journey.

I had great hopes trying this company’s premade meals, but sadly disappointed. After 3 days of eagerly awaiting my box, it still remains sitting in a depot where it’s been dormant for a week. Customer service generously offered $25 off my next order and told me it was up to the delivery company to sort out. In fairness to this review, i cant tell you about the quality of the food - but if they can’t even get the first delivery right, it’s not worth the hassle.

Chefgood is AMAZING! Delicious mealprep with healthy, natural and preservative free ingredients! Chef Good saves me hours on weekends preparing meals for the week, and I love that they are delivered vacuum sealed and not frozen, because I know this means that they use fresh, local produce. This is important to me, because of the health benefits, and also because I believe in supporting local Aussie businesses. I look forward to my delivery every week

I’ve tried a few different ready made meals over the years, and ChefGood was definitely up there with the best. What I enjoyed about it was the variety of meals (many that I wouldn’t have thought of making myself). Delivery on a Sunday morning was easy, and the text notifications to track it arriving was simple.

I tried to change my order a few minutes after the cut-off which is days before delivery. Chefgood had automatically substituted meals I’ve never ordered before and can’t eat due to dietary restrictions. I’m really disappointed and will look for another delivery option.

Have been really impressed so far with this meal delivery service. The food has been delicious - household favourites are the satay chicken, vegan bolognese and Indian curries. Our order was left exactly where we specified so no issues with delivery either.

I thought I was buying healthy meals from Chefgood but everything has preservatives and thickners. Disappointing. I would rather receive something with a shorter shelf life that’s cleaner. Why does a simple Chia pudding have so many ingredients?

The meals are ok for pre-packaged. But I am really annoyed that they make you sign up for a subscription. If you want to do a one off order occasionally you have to remember to then cancel the subscription the next day or they'll send you

Absolutely disgusting. The quality of the meals has seriously gone downhill, I will never buy this product again. In one of my meals the other night, the meat was a bit grissly and fat...it was relatively dark at home so just kept eating.
