"It’s so easy to write a negative review but it takes a lot of time to write the positive review! Yes this store definitely claiming 5 star review based on my experience with them! Prescription medication they had to order for my mother in law as they don’t normally stock them, they ordered it and explained how to use it as well with patience"
I have been to this chemist a few times and it is always a bit slow to get prescriptions together etc however, I decided to go here again tonight anyway, as it was more convenient since I had to go to other shops in the same vicinity. They basically forgot about my prescription or it got misplaced somewhere. The girl who originally served me (Sunny?) was lovely, but honestly, they are so disorganised down the back when they are putting the prescriptions together! The pharmacist asked me once if I was waiting for a prescription, and I said yes. Still nothing. Finally, after another 20 minutes of doing something out the back he asked again, and for my name. I told him and he went looking for it. I could see that he found it sitting somewhere it shouldn't be (not on the completed scripts ready to be picked up) but he just handed it to me without an apology or anything. Had he at least apologised, I wouldn't have bothered writing a review. The two stars are for the girl who served me and the guy who served me on the way out (yes, you have to line up again to pay for your medication).
Lovely and polite staff despite being very squished (aisles are SMALL and can't fit a trolley/pram/walker etc. easily not wheelchair friendly...) busy shop. Good chemist location where you can drop off your scripts and go shopping at Coles, Kmart, post office, see GP, get a hair cut, have a coffee etc. (talk about multitasking!) before picking up your scripts again. Good tip is to check if your script is available in stock or needs to be ordered first before going off to other shops to avoid disappointment. I like their click and collect and delivery options too. Vitamin and make up sales are not bad either, they can price match... just not a very quick process and queues get long, when trying to price match multiple items but it is worth it with the $$ you save! It'd be better if the shop was wider with more staff at tills to reduce queuing time.
They have a great product range. with good discounted sale prices, much cheaper than Terry White. But the store is far too small - perhaps they could buy the store next door and expand?. The aisles are way too narrow, you can't browse without blocking other customers - people get very frustrated. The checkout counter is a problem area too, never enough staff, they are slow, and lacking in friendly customer care. Long queues quickly build up, which further contributes to the aisle blocking during peak times - people walk out because they can't be bothered waiting. Most people just rush in, grab their known product/s, then dash out quickly. You don't really browse the range of products available. I use this store frequently, the pharmacy staff aren't very friendly or helpful. This could be a fantastic store if they get it right.
I went in to get cold and flu tablets. I am obviously sick, but I was judged by staff and made to feel like a criminal through their condescending demeanour. I have not taken cold and flu tablets since the new regulations came in. They would’ve been able to see that when they entered my ID, but I was pre-judged before they even checked that. Also, I told them that I’m taking antidepressants and yet on the back of the box it says “do not take with antidepressants”. They did not discuss this with me. Thankfully, my friend is a pharmacy assistant and knows that it’s just a warning and it’s safe for me to take. So basically, don’t judge your customers and ensure you give them advice with the medication they buy.
It’s so easy to write a negative review but it takes a lot of time to write the positive review! Yes this store definitely claiming 5 star review based on my experience with them! Prescription medication they had to order for my mother in law as they don’t normally stock them, they ordered it and explained how to use it as well with patience. I was running late to pickup the medications as it was a closing time. They were able to wait and I have got the medications on time! Thanks to all the staffs as they were politely served with a smile even the shop was officially closed! Keep up the good work If you ever had a unpleasant experience please give them a chance!
I’ve been to other chemist warehouses before and have never had such a pleasant shop like this one. I was after a discontinued lipstick and a lovely girl Shannon was so happy to help. She advised me it might be a while for her to find it, so she took my details down and said she would call when she found it. In 10 minutes she called. I then needed help with fragrance and she helped me out for at least 30 minutes. She was so helpful, just a very pleasant and kind young lady All the staff seem to get on well with each other which is lovely to see. This is a very busy store however, keep that in mind. Even though they are busy they put the customers first. Will be coming back.
Doctor faxed a script to Chemist Warehouse Cannon Hill and I made a special trip to collect. They told me it had never been received. After confirming with the doctor that the details were correct I called Chemist Warehouse and amazingly it was actually there. Considering that the "filing" system they were sorting through consisted of a pile of faxes and a cardboard box I'm not surprised they couldn't find it. I can see that they lack space because the store and pharmacy are so pokey and congested, but I would have thought that more care should be taken with confidential prescriptions to ensure privacy and accuracy. Not impressed.
Customer service is great! The friendliest and helpful CW staff. The wait for the prescriptions might take a while since this is a very busy pharmacist. They just don't give away medications without double checking, and that's how you know they're actually taking their due diligence with dispensing medications. They actually ask you if you want to wait in store or come back. I always wait and browse around the store for things I need anyways. Longest time I've waited for the past 3 years I've been coming here for my prescriptions is 15 minutes but some days it would only take 5 minutes.
After waiting 10 minutes to get cold n flu tabs & being ignored by 3 staff, I finally conformed and joined a line. I grabbed the attention of a staff member wondering around the store doing nothing & asked her to grab the item I wanted, she proceeds to tell me she's not trained in cold n flu so can't help me . . . . . I can get the same items off the shelf at Coles so I can't seem to wrap my head around what she needs training in? In general this store has the worst customer service, don't know why I do it to myself!!
Yesterday a girl behind the counter (I think her name was shahrazad? ) helped me with my enquiry. My son recently had an allergic reaction to nurofen and the lady went out of her way to reassure me and recommend me a medication to help my son out. I was super worried cause my son had fever and he was hospitalised the day before and was given nurofen to bring down temperature. This lady explained everything to me and told me what to do to bring down the fever and also to dampen down the allergy reaction.
Worst Chemist Warehouse I have been to in Brisbane. Staff is not helpful. The store is really small and all products are packed with no space for customers to walk through. If you walk through the aisles you will always hit someone or something. Waiting time for prescriptions is about 20-40 minutes every time. That’s is unacceptable. If you compare this chemist with other stores of the chemist chain, then this store should be closed for its deplorable standards.
After 3 years of leaving my script on file, they claim they gave one back to me and I lost it! I couldnt believe they actually accused me of losing it. I never got it back. The person accusing me didn't even serve me the last time! So much for customer service. I had to get a new script from my doctor. I will never go back to this chemist. Also their line system is terrible and disorderly. Not enough room so people are always pushing in.
Needed a script of bicillin for my 9yr daughter, she has had open heart surgery and this medicine is critical for her as it keeps rhd bug in check. They don't supply and refused to order because you can only buy in packs of 10. I needed all 10. Selfish and rude staff this chemist is only concerned with making money. Zero stars from me. Better to go Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse Cannon Hill staff are amazing helpful and caring.
Excellent customer service!! Amy the manager went out of her way to help me when she wasn't required too. I had a problem with a product and when the company wasn't helpful I rang Chemist Warehouse Cannon Hill where I purchased the product and despite weeks later was still offered an exchange from Amy and the owner. The staff were very helpful and friendly when I went in to exchange also. Thanks so much!
I am SO impressed with the customer service of this store! I was very sick and unable to drive, I phoned and the young lady on the other end of the phone was very polite and most helpful, my script was delivered along with a few little samples of skincare as well, which was very thoughtful. Very much appreciated Chemist Warehouse Cannon Hill you guys are amazing!
Not impressed that there was long queues inside the shop for people wanting the rapid Covid test. The shop needs to think about it's safety procedures, as many people in the queue are likely to have the virus, so being in the shop was a risky place to be. Needless to say, I went elsewhere to collect my prescription.
I had my share of incorrect pricing in this shop., the pricing for Nivea cream on special was more than its usual price. Also the aisles are too close to each other and people constantly bump into each other. The billing is very slow and the lines extend till end of the aisles many times that I have visited them.
Never not had what I was shopping for....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
The kmart plaza shop refused to take my scripts because they have a nearby store opening. They said they would be taking scripts again in 3 weeks. This is a terrible way to conduct your business. To send customers to another chemist warehouse for reason of reason of numbers/ quota for the other store. Abysmal.
This branch of Chemist Warehouse ask Chemist Waithouse is disorganised chaos. Long waiting times to get served at the Prescription desk; waited 30 minutes for one script. Then a further wait to pay for it. Totally disorganised unlike the Mt. Gravat or City Branch. Yes; it’s cheap, but my time is short.
Best Customer Service was received from this chemist warehouse store this morning, the lady at the counter was helpful from the minute I walked in, I could hear her.. she was this way with every customer even other staff.. I walked out soo happy with my purchase, she must be acknowledged.
One of those kind of pharmacies that takes an hour to fill your prescription even though you're the only person in the store. Do yourself a huge favour and go to the other discount pharmacy next to Supercheap Auto instead in the Bunnings area just behind Cannon Hill Shopping Centre.
Great example of collaboration with other chemists and customer service :-) When out of stock of a prescribed medicine, the pharmacist rang around other stores to find nearby in-stock options - thank you and very much appreciated, especially given it’s the weekend.
Young black haired female refused to serve me unless i went back to the que i'd just come from. The unprofessional customer service berating me whilst already serving a customer. I walked out without a purchase never to return. No 'star' is the true review.
The staff at this chemist are the best In Brisbane from Jeff the pharmacist ... to Helen ,Dot, Jonathan and all the other lovely staff members ... they are always ready to help ... and they always have a smile on there face ...
This store does not offer refund even the product is close to expiry date. Customer service is not up to the standard. I will never buy there anymore. Would recommend shopping at the Good Price Pharmacy store near Bunnings.
Quite possibly the most disorganized chemist I’ve ever been to, service is way below par. Queue for what you need at the back of the store and then queue at the front of the store to pay
Really helpful and polite staff who know the store and can easily point me in the right direction or let me know the wait times. Have had many positive interactions with the staff.
Clearly the store manager doesn’t want to sell anything. Clearly she doesn’t care how ridiculous her store has been shelved; that happens when people don’t like their job.
They filled a script that the GP sent to my phone. They wouldn't give me the repeats but promised to text them to me. That was a month ago.....Very inefficient pharmacy.
Waiting too long for scripts feels like your squashed inside like they make you wait long on purpose to buy more items will never go back to that place again
Friendly and efficient staff, store is well presentable each time I've visited. Click and collect is a bonus.
Small chemist warehouse but has almost everything. The prices are different from the one in Gabba
Great service from Claire. She helped me with a price match and was really good at what she does
Usually very busy. Narrow isles and higher prices than some competitors. Could be better.
98% of staff (including the pharmacists) looks cranky, scary and unfriendly in this shop.
Horrible customer service at the prescription desk. Super rude, impatient and unhelpful.
Not enough space and 30 minutes to get some nose spray that was prescribed never again!
I wait morethan 15 minutes and after said no medication told find another pharmacy
Always willing to help. Excellent customer service and great prices.
Wonderful pharmacy. Always well stocked! Friendly and helpful staff.
They deserve a “ZERO”. Incompetent staff, completely useless idiots.
Excellent range of products. Cheap prices, and friendly staff.
Service in general is ok but long wait for prescriptions
Staff member Tia she is amazing. She helped me so much!
