"Good place to jog, walk, walk the dog, and workout"
"Very cute park, but a hub for many that are without a home or many other necessities"
"This park is very close to not only where I lived growing up but also right in the middle of all of my schools as well"
A vibrant park with lot of activities throughout the day, a large playground for kids young and old - even some bar things to workout with (like pull ups, etc.). There's plenty of fields and tree-lined secluded areas. There are two schools nearby with lots of children. Plenty of water fountains installed through the park. The restrooms are not accessible - which leads to why my review is a lower score: the park is nice but there's lot of trash, broken bottles and overall infrastructure that just doesn't seem to be well maintained.
Playground
Large with sand and accommodates older kids.
Restrooms
Inaccessible. They are locked and haven't ever been opened.
Dog-friendliness
Lots of dog walkers. Beware of dogs off leashes.
Picnic area
Tables and grills provided; needs maintenance.
Cielito park is a great family park located at 35th Ave and Cambell in the heart of the Alhambra district. There are always a few homeless people around and I don't feel like that's a problem because they live here in this neighborhood just like us A lot of these people grew up in this neighborhood. For them, there is nowhere else to go. Please treat them with respect." I'm just saying" Anyhow, this is a great park for picnics, barbeques, soccer games, tennis courts, B and yes, rest room facilities!! Park closes at 10pm.
Good place to jog, walk, walk the dog, and workout. Best time to go is in the evening time between 5pm to 9pm. Lots of people are usually out and I feel safer. It is not wise to go in the early morning hours for though the homeless are there in the evening, the shadier folks may be out in the morning and there are very few people there before 6. Go once it lights up if anything. Other than that, it is good to visit. Oh yeah, it does get flooded rather easily too and the sewer can be awfully rancid, hence the three stars.
Very cute park, but a hub for many that are without a home or many other necessities. Around dusk there was a woman walking around screaming like a banshee and this was normal to the "residents" of the park. Probably won't go again, but it has the potential to be a great place to be. The trees are so beautiful and despite some garbage that had been recently dumped, it was a nice, short visit.
This park is very close to not only where I lived growing up but also right in the middle of all of my schools as well. The park looks great but people have to agree that it is one of the best parks to jog, fastwalk,or just walk around by yourself or a loved one if you are getting exercise from walking.
Restrooms
Restrooms are clean and sinks work to provide cleanup after use.
I really enjoy this playground, its pretty clean and well maintained, only thing is that you might find a lot of homeless people hanging around the less populated areas because there is a church near by that feeds them, wish someone could do something about that problem. I think it would be safer and the bathroom would actually be clean they are so nasty right now.
The park is needing help by the people that go there and stay there by picking up trash and being polite and pick up after them selfes , others it's a park for children , teens and family we must remember the value of a public park and the residential , schools that are around there so pick up and show that you care by helping , being a helpful hand
Has a pool. No slide they took out the big diving board. More homeless people here than begging for money by the highway. Also quite dangerous a few deaths shooting stabbings knife fights definitely went downhill in the last 8 years they used to lock the gates at 10:00 not anymore what's worse it's connected to an elementary and a catholic school
Nice place to walk or jog but too many homeless people around that make it feel unsafe. Clean public restrooms and nice pool area with many activities for all ages. Flooding the green areas may be good for trees and grass but the odor is disgusting and promotes mosquitoes making an unpleasant and unsafe environment when picnicking.
Great park for recreational activities, such as soccer which is what i went there for. They have soccer posts set but there is no nets. They have jungle gyms for kids. It has a pool for those hot summers. Restrooms seemed somewhat maintained. Not a whole lot of transients, plus they keep to themselves. It also has tennis courts.
Lots of homeless. Don’t recommend treading the grass as the chinos will hawk eye you from the tables. They act like everything is their collateral for the homeless drug debts. If you need rims for your bike they hide them in the trees in the back. Don’t go to the bathroom, it’s like jailyard kinda things there.
The park workers keep it c2the best they can but on the weekends this place gets packed with kids soccer teams and if you don't like kids don't come here and a lot of people bring there dogs here also so keep that in mind. I spend my weekends here is a great place to unwind after a long hard week of working.
This is a rather large park with a nice playground and plenty of sidewalk throughout. I believe this park gets irrigation so sometimes the ground is soggy but because of all the water there are big mature shade trees. Be careful at night. Cielito is a haven for the homeless and some unsavory activities.
Big park, lately they have been doing construction which has hindered one of the front parking lots off of 35th ave. There are currently a lot of homeless people living there in tents etc. However they mind their own business and don't seem to bother anyone nor do they ask for anything.
The grass is green but overgrown. Homeless people everywhere. Trash everywhere. I love the walking trail around the park but the homeless people make you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome when you walk past their areas.

It's a small park off of 35th Avenue. There is shade but only where it's grassy. On the other hand the parking lot sure could use some shade. While there is a restroom near the tennis court, I haven't had to use quite yet so I cannot rate the restroom . …
This is always a good park to go to. Lots of families all the time. Great place to walk and exercise. The community takes full advantage of this park utilizing all fields and space. Not many homeless people or drug users in sight so def a plus.
Not a bad park, just walkaway distance from my apartment. Be on the look out for floods & muds, as well as homeless bikers on the road. It does need some clean up to do, I see glass shards on the ground, not very safe for walking with pets.
Not a good place to visit during this pandemic; there's a lot of homeless people around, plus public restroom are closed...but yet smell like crazy for people using them "outside". However, it's a nice park to take a walk, very shaded.
Fun park for the kids, my older kids certainly enjoy it because it has a little kiddy Park as well as a park for larger kids. This location is usually full of kids as well as there is a local vendor that comes and sells drinks.
My kids LOVE this park. It has multiple play areas and lost of grass. The one drawback is the number of homeless people sleeping. They stay out of the general playground area, but it definitely controls how far my kids can run.
Best park for everyone.
Playground
I wish to have more playing stuffs
Restrooms
Needs more cleaning and the tap is not working at school side

I had a blast at this park! It's super clean, with pretty flowers and cool playgrounds. I loved the picnic spots and shady trees. Great place for families or a relaxing day out. Will definitely come back!
Very nicely landscaped with extra large shade trees. Great for a tin or a stroll, I didn't check out the kids area. Picnic tables are few. It's best to leave before dark but daytime is nice park to be at.
You can never get a hold of the city to paint the fields. The bathrooms are disgusting and quite scary to go inside. But it still provides my team with a place to practice, and for that we are grateful!
It's nice to sit on the benches the quites of the park people's doing their on thing soccer ⚽ basketball the little kids in the playground 1.4 track around the park it's nice place to enjoy. …
It's big and would be lovely if there wasn't so many homeless people hanging around it so much. There's also the frequent flooding in parts of the park that make it hard to play in the grass areas.
Beautiful clean park. Except for slides. They are covered in graffiti. Everything else is really nice and adult and kid friendly. Fun spinning chairs to a whole family ride. Lots of things to do.
This park is pretty big. Little leagues practice in the afternoons. Unfortunately the safety is poor. Bathrooms are occupied by homeless and do not allow kids to use the restrooms often.
Gotta be the most ghetto park I've visited in Phoenix. Every inch of the children's play area has graphic tagging, and there's literally a tent city set up on the far end of the park.
Awesome park!! It's clean.and .well manicured restrooms could use a little tlc... however the picnic area.. playground and the fact that it is a dog friendly park make up for it...
Here is a nice place to kick back and enjoy time with the family or just take a few mins to yourself, I don't take many pictures but I can say this park is a great place to visit
Cleaned out my vehicle inside and out here at this park one morning. Didn't see to many people but didn't get any bad vibes from no one. I'd say it's a great park.
Good size park 2 parking lots some cement paths tennis courts play equipment a pool for summer use Down side used to catch water off run population of homeless
Sooo many homeless people, which wouldn’t really be an issue for me if they didn’t leave their foil and needles all over the park.. it’s extremely sad..
Nice playground, lots of trees & grass. Quite a few homeless, but never had any problems from them. It's a blast to take your dog when irrigate grounds!
Loved it! Such a nice place to go for a walk, read a book, meditate. You can also practice various sports, have family picnics or enjoy a nice day out.
Big park with children's play area and tennis courts and soccer/football fields and picnic tables. Homeless people are scattered throughout the park.
Sorry but, too many bums. Is that the correct terminology? Lack of personal space it felt uncomfortable my son even wanted to leave early
Definitely a lot of homeless here. Don't go here at night . Something bad will more than likely happen since it's almost completely dark
Nice park where our group goes to feed the homeless and provide help to get them on their feet again
Great park to walk, watch little league baseball, or soccer. I like it because all are welcome.
It's an ok park would give it 5 stars but it doesn't have many tables or covered play areas
Maintenance really needs to redesign the facility structure and accessibility at this park.
Nice and quiet. I saw a few people walk/exercise, which motivated me to do the same. …
It's a nice park to take children and have a nice barbecue with family and friends.
Chill park good atmosphere plenty of vendors if you get the munchies clean pool.
Excellent Park Te soccer field nedded flat ground
