As ALWAYS one of my favorite stored to go into with the idea of getting just the one thing ....NEVER f*in happens , Love this store to DEATH, seem to have new management which last night he I was there ...just felt like staff was happier...hope that's I good thing!! They offer lay a way year round and have. Some of the. Best deals on name brand shoes, clothes, accessories, and...ahem..personals. The only thing is that the store can get very, very....very disorganized and more times then not I've only found ONE out of the TWO shoes needed.. obviously... And unless you're a small , Xtra small or XL, XXL and thing in between can be hard to find in the personals but from time to time it's problem free shopping. Up until last night they had a return policy of EXCHANGE ONLY even with receipt, however, I was told that now if you PHYSICALLY have ur receipt and the item still has tags and is in good or same condition as purchased and you PAID in cash then you get cash ...if card then card.... Which is great news to hear! So if you have time time to spend it's worth the trip!!

The employees here lack good customer service all the way. They are so unfriendly here. They don't care to assist you in finding anything or offering their help just in general. The poor attitudes they show are from each & every employee, but they'll definitely be nice to each other. When you 1st walk in, instead of them greeting you with a smile & saying hello, they respond in such a rude way telling you to put your bag behind the desk. They're more worried about people stealing from the store than making sure if customers are happy. I've been approached by a lady that worked there saying I had stolen a pair of sunglasses. I told her if she'd have been paying attention she would've seen me with my own pair of sunglasses on when I walked in. I told the manager and she didn't do anything about it but told her in a quiet voice that those were my sunglasses. I doubt she was even reprimanded for it after I left. The merchandise is either broken or really cheap, especially for the prices they charge here is ridiculous!

Customer service is at its lowest, not to mention the wait one has to expect to stand in line. I realised I left my debit card in my wallet at home. While explaining to the cashier I'd return with payment, she explained that they couldn't hold longer than an hr.. which i completely understood. Being a cashier/ store manager it tends to clutter behind any register.. Well, find out when returned with payment, I then was told I had to stand in line for yet another 30 mins. A little upset and not wanting to spend Saturday afternoon in line, figured I'd tell the cashier that helped me 25 mins earlier that I'd return in 20 mins when the line wasn't so busy.. then a different cashier looks to me and loudly says, "we aint holding nothing for no one".. Shook, I explained to I wasn't talking to her.. Clearly ppl, if the rude cashier had been paying attention to her customers.. then maybe the wait at this location wouldn't take as much time.

This place has amazing clothes and shoes that's my style.Jewelry is pretty good too. Their miscellaneous items are pretty interesting as well. However I wish they didn't have my size stored on the other side of the store though, just felt like what I needed in size made it difficult to get what I want and also made me feel like my size was unappreciated as I am a curvy woman. I also wish that the store would treat their employees better. Mostly every employee I seen was trying to do their best but with all the different customers coming in and I can tell it was hard for them to be themselves instead of having to constantly tell customers what is ok and not ok. Something needs to be done about that. If a company can't make sure there is a balance between employees and customers while making both feel comfortable then I really don't want to support that company or the person behind it.

I got some things from citi trends on lake street and their staff isn’t fully educated on the policies. I asked before I bought anything If I could return an item if it didn’t fit (because they don’t have fitting rooms) . she checked the tag and said I can return it within 30 days. I went home to try them on and come back within 45 minutes, when I went to the cashier there were two people at one register and neither of them knew how to do returns. When the manager finally came she said I can’t return the item. She said on the receipt it states you can’t return sales items and you can only exchange. (but you get the receipt after the purchase is already complete so it wouldn’t have mattered if the receipt said it or not) I just wished that their staff was fully educated on the policies so I could have saved my money!

I stopped in this store for a woman size 4xl black T-shirt. They had none. Got assistance from a worker to find that same size & color in men. Again they had none. I found a black button up shirt. Went to check out & waited over 15 minutes to be served. The cashier that just completed a return told me that she couldn't check me out & that she was only doing that return. I politely handed her that shirt & left the store. People who work in any stores that don't act like they don't want my business & money will not get it. I will drive where ever I have to & spend my money at places that deserve it. I will not ever come into this store location again. Lane Bryant will get the money & I will get a very nice black T-shirt for my Sis. for her birthday.

Sales Rep's seem unhappy sum are very lazy n the worst thing thy hate helping you look for things unpon Ur request. And will tell you that don't have items that thy do have but reference to look. Don't get me wrong some will help depending on there mood. On a positive not thy have updated colors style n current trend. Cute items that looks more expensive than you spent. If you put it together nice from head to toe u may spent 40 and look like Ur dress in a outfit 150.00 plus outfit. Mind you it maybe very similar wit color style trend to a famous elite person ... Over all I would give them a 10 the the reps brings them to 7 1/2 in my opinion ... Nasty addtudes reps the company as a whole ty

I would rate them ZERO stars if I could. I went to their store for a return and they told me to leave it with them while I shopped. I browsed around and didn’t find anything. I returns to the checkout and the woman at the register grabbed my bag, as soon as she open the bag she said it was wet. My bag was PERFECTLY FINE when I gave it to them. All of a sudden they said it was wet and refused to let me return the item. It was covered in a white sticky substance that was milk like and and smelled very bad. The lady was very rude and when I asked if she had I supervisor I could talk to she said she was a manger and insisted that I gave her the item in that condition. DON’T SHOP THERE!!!!!!!!

The store is very messy and the customer service is not at it's best. I had to waste alot of time looking for my size and there was no order to none other merchandise. They have everything thrown together and I asked one of the attendants where could I find womens capris and she got nasty and smart mouthed me and said" well I you have to do is look" omg! I was heated at this point and started to go all in on her but decided that day it wasnt worth more time spent in a store that was jus not for me. I love Citi trends but this location just isn't for me. The place is a hot mess and full of madness and the staff and the customers are all rude and tacky.

Went to the Citi Trends on lake street and the service is lousy as always. The old lady with short blonde wig, working at the cashier was unsure of how much the item cost, and wanted to change the items price, the cashiers are rude but the stock/ cleaning staff are always helpful. It’s never a good experience here, and so wish we had another clothing store in the area, I hate Citi trends and have voiced this on Facebook, now they only get a portion of their old customers.The fat Manager with glasses is very nasty to the staff, aww it’s horrible there!

Hands down one of the most disgusting and worst service places. Was followed around the store by a worker telling me everything I can't do. Maybe people would respect your business more if you respected it first and respected your customers first. Trash and items everywhere on the floor. This picture doesn't even do it justice. 20 minutes per customer with only a few items in line. Every time I've gone I just wanted to leave. Definitely not going back. Unwelcoming, rude and extremely inefficient workers. This place needs to be closed down.

Always shop here !! They have a variety of selected items I always purchase.. But they have to do better The store hours are from 10-9pm M-F and 12pm-6pm on Sunday I’ve been waiting over 30 minutes along with 6 others customers that haven’t walked off and they have yet to open the store yet! I am pressed for time and it’s now 10:48 a.m still not open. I and others have knocked the manager is there no answer on anything still waiting. You would think they would put a note on the door or come out and say something.

I see a lot of people on here talking about what the store looks like..it's the CUSTOMERS that comes in the store and just throws things on the floor. I have seen for myself how people treat the items and the customers have zero consideration towards who has to clean behind those who mess up. The workers aren't maids. Customers come in and are rude very disrespectful towards the employees. How would you like being treated that way... So before blaming others check yourselves first.

Shop here about once a year. This time came in June and it was same as always expect there were barely any clothes. Plus shirts were limited to 1x. No jeggings or leggings which you guys are pretty popular for... only had a clearance rack of jeans that weren't even plus sizes. Even drove to the st.paul location and there it was way worse... known for just being cheap and I love that y'all are but jeez place was trashed and idk just barely a selection of plus clothes...

The employee had the audacity to ring up a bottle of lotion and then try to pocket the item for himself When I called him out on it he then placed it in my bag and insisted it was something I wanted. I should've told him to take it off my tab or return it but I was flustered at the time so now I have a bottle of Vaseline intensive care that I didn't pick out or even ever want It was my first time ever going here and definitely the last total theif weirdos

I came in too but one white tshirt and one of the workers come up too me & say didn’t U get kicked out of here I say first of all I barely come here because the clothes fall apart quick anything from this store is cheap & generic I was trying to give this store another chance but I was insulted the minute I walked through the door racial profiled automatically accused because I am a Native American women. DO NOT VISIT!!! Managment has absolutely ZERO customer service skills and my son's card wouldn't process properly so the manager told my CHILD they would not cancel the transaction and he "better go pan handle or somethin" over $2!!!! Then once confronted I was told to "get over it"!! She was unprofessional and RUDE. I drove over an hour just for this store, just for them to treat my family with pure disrespect.

The service at the lake street store is very slow and there allways short of staff. The workers can be very rude and short temper and make you feel uncomfortable.The clothes are throw around and are not on hangers.The workers don't have enough patient with the customers.When you give respect You deserve to receive it in return.This store needs to work on customer service skiils.

What kind of business doesn't let their customers use the bathroom? I walked back, found the bathroom locked, asked a lady at the register if I needed a key. She lied to my face and said there's no bathroom. I'd have to go somewhere else. Ridiculous. For the amount of money I spend here I should have just used the floor. Good clothes and prices but no bathroom?

Although bigger than sunray, clothes were all over the place. The floor was littered. Couldn't find anything in its correct location. Clothes appeared to be dramatically smaller than stated. Def size up in anything you buy. The cashiers spoke In their language the whole time and were annoyed because they worked there. Ummm yea... not my idea of a great store

Always picked threw. I work at the dry cleaners close by, and u wont believe the Africans the turn in dry cleaning with the tags on them, from Citi trends. So the clothes they sell been worn. Thought yall should know so u can watch for this. Its men's and kids clothes they are doing it with. I rip the tag off when I get there dry cleaning. But its alot!!!

Great clothes but some of the staff needs to have better attitudes than what they have. Felt very uncomfortable around these employees. Don't know who he is but the bald headed manager supervisor or whomever he is treated me like garbage rude but very friendly with other customers. Very much shows signs of discrimination if you get my drift.

If you see something you like get it while they have it. I always find things for my younger daughter, son and husband. I haven’t had the best of luck finding things for myself or my two teenage daughters. But still I like coming to see what will I find be it a new duffel bag, shoes or other things I think I might want.

Always find great deals here. But staff needs to have better attitudes needs training how to be polite to paying customers. Felt very uneasy at the store cause of the staff working. Bald headed manager or supervisor he needs to change his attitude very snappy and cranky not polite at all.

This store has some of the RUDEST employees I’ve ever come across!! The entire store need an attitude check, customer service classes, educated on their store policies. The employees all act like they have a 4th grade education…like there’s really no one there smarter than a 5th grader!!

The employees are very cold here especially the manager with the glasses. I still try to be nice to them even when I feel I'm not being treated the same way. But they could treat customers alot better. Prices are pretty reasonable except some of the items aren't in the best condition.

Love this place. School shopping made easy with everything from shoes to hats located here. The prices increased a bit since last year but yet everything is still very affordable. The styles and brands they carry are very fashion friendly. Great place to go for adults and children.

The lady at the register was racist towards my mother. She ignored my mom when she was ready to check out and proceeded to check the next person out. Get better employees with a better attitude. You should treat all of your customers equally. Shame.

Very dirty and unorganized. The racks were so full you were unable to browse. This made shopping a chore and couldn't wait to get out of the store. The employees argued amongst each other, bickering back and forth, felt like a highschool lunch room

I went to this store a few days ago. They asked for my purse and water bottle container. I said no. They had a lady literally following me around the store like I was going to steal something. I will not be going back there. I'll stick to Edina

Found store on google while trying to pass some time. Store was messy but we were able to find some great deals. Didn’t look at clothes so can’t rate quality or prices. We bought makeup and households. I would stop back if in the area.

The Best clothing store I have found in year's..you cannot beat the prices. Wow!! I outfitted both my grandkids for a small amount and the clothes are awesome!! Stop by this place. I know you won't be disappointed!! Have fun shopping!!

Some great finds but the store has been extremely messy/disorganized every time I go there and the staff...well the staff leaves something to be desired. In other words they haven't been particularly friendly and/or helpful.

Has pretty good deals and a wide selection of items. However, the store is always in disarray and when I went to return an item the next day, I was told I cannot so I had to show him the return policy to return it.

Really up set wasted my time online it says close at 9:00pm and on the door it says close at 9:00 pm but unfortunately they close at 8 man had a real smart mouth cause i asked why do it say close at 9 then

Best place to go when you don't have a lot of money and still come out with great deals. So many things to pick from and if you're looking for a certain color they are most likely going to have it.

They use to have really cute stuff now it's filled with skinny jeans and leggings. No cute dresses or skirts or sweats but Its called Citi trends for a reason sooo what else would I expect

Selection has lessened since I've been going here for the past couple of years. Used to love the styles that were available but seems less organized and less in trend than it used to be.

Clothing varity is not the best for adults. Great for toddlers. Downside No public restrooms. Customer service is out the door here. Shoes are decent for casual selection.

This place would be good but the people that work there will make u almost come out of your composer and put some hands on somebody. They slow n very disrespectful.

Five stars for the bottoms they carry. Kids have a great number of choice's to select from! A larger tee shirt selection for men is needed at this Cititrends.
