"This was my first time at Clicks pharmacy in plumstead and it was my worst shopping experience"
"This must be one of the worst Clicks pharmacies I have ever had the irritation to visit! I waited in a queue and to be served for more than 45 minutes, only to be told that the prescription for my Chronic medicine was not on the system which I had given them a month earlier and then eventually when they went and looked for it found it, then to discover whoever loaded the medicines on only loaded one! Clicks Plumstead, you are going to loose many customers if this is the kind of service you are going to deliver, bring back Asher Pharmacy please, the service was excellent, friendly and always a pleasure to visit"
"I really enjoy this clicks"
I want to be clear that this rating applies to the experience that I had TODAY with Linda Henderson, and that the treatment that I received is not even worthy of 1 star! Clicks Ashers is my go to pharmacy. I would usually rate the pharmacy 7 stars just because of Lindsay Casserley, who is a super star, a true gentleman who ALWAYS displays a caring and compassionate demeanour. The service that I receive from him is second to none. He is engaging and encouraging and empathetic. I need to point out that I spend an average of R5000 per month on prescription medication at Clicks Ashers. I know the staff, and they know me. I know the pharmacy protocols. I would need to know it by now, after many years of being a pharmacy customer. My mother's doctor needed to send a script for schedule 6 medication. I asked for it to be sent to Clicks Ashers by email and for me to be copied in. The doctor sent the script via email on Monday. My usual experience is that the script would be filled and that I would receive a text message confirming that the meds are ready. I was not sure if my Tel number was noted on my mom’s profile or not, but I was so certain of the process, that when I went to Clicks Ashers today, I selected the collection ticket option. I was met by Linda Henderson. I explained the situation. She was very abrupt and condescending throughout the interaction, and spoke AT me with rudeness and clear disrespect. She asked if I had received an sms. While I tried to explain the situation with my mom and her terminal care, and how I was unsure if my phone number was on her profile, she interrupted me and asked if my mother had received a text message... I continued with my explanation as to why she would not have. Linda showed no empathy. She showed more contempt than anything else. Linda: "Let me explain how the collect option works" Me: "I understand how it works" Linda: "Clearly you don't, because this bumps you up to the front of the queue" Please note that there was 1 person ahead of me who was called up immediately by the other pharmacist/assistant. Linda went looking for the script. She located this and came back to me to say that this was a photo of the script and that because schedule 6 medication was prescribed, I would need to bring the original script. I mentioned that I had had schedule 6 scripts emailed directly to clicks numerous times without any problem. Linda, once again, full of attitude, said that this would be done for regular customers and more common schedule 6 medication. I AM a regular customer. But even if I wasn't, does this mean that the medicinal needs of non-regular customers deserve to be treated as less important, and that a more stringent process be required by sending the person back and forth? Linda insisted that I'd need to get the original script from the doctor. She then said that she would check if the items were in stock. Not many items were available. I stood in shock at the way that I had been treated. Linda asked if she could check if another pharmacy had stock of the items so that I could take the original script there after I had collected it from the dictor. I said no thank you, and left, feeling like less than a human being. Later today, I was at Dischem. I thought to ask if they needed an original script or if the email copy of the script was acceptable and if I could be assisted with the medication. Within 10 minutes, I had all, but 1 of the prescribed medication. The dischem service was phenomenal. The lady was empathetic and caring and efficient. She even phoned 2 pharmacies to check if they had stock of the outstanding item, without even asking if I required her to. What a difference in service and care. I felt acknowledged and heard. I was made to feel special. Today, Clicks really disappointed me. But Dischem saved the day.
Called this Clicks on Monday to put a few products aside to collect on Friday. A man answered & couldn't understand what I was saying so he let another lady take over the call. I first asked if they stocked the specific product that was on sale 3 for 2, she left me on hold to check & then confirmed that they have the product. After asking her to put 3 aside, the lady confirmed that she will put 3× the product aside for me and that it will be kept aside until the end of Friday. We went to collect it ahead of time on Thursday & there was nothing set aside & nothing left on the shelf. We later found out that they don't even stock this specific product even though the lady had previously confirmed that they do. All we received was an insincere apology after having to explain the situation to them multiple times. All they could say is "Well if you can't give us the lady's name then we can't do anything about it" with some major attitude from the assistant & the manager herself. They made it seem as if we were to blame & that it's not their problem since we didn't ask this lady for her name on the call. They didn't even care to help fix the situation, we had to ask them to call other clicks - something the manager should be offering to do. Luckily 3 Arts down the road stocked the product so we didn't have to waste too much extra petrol. This isn't the first time they provided poor customer service. A month or 2 ago I purchased an FNB replacement card & there was an issue with the card after the transaction had already gone through. I was in a hurry so I asked them to rather reverse the transaction because I didn't have time to wait for them to call around. After 10 minutes of them still not listening to me & insisting on wasting time calling around, I had to call the manager who then had attitude while reversing the transaction along with an insincere apology. Beware: when things go wrong here, don't expect decent customer service.
This was my first time at Clicks pharmacy in plumstead and it was my worst shopping experience. I purchased some items that were priced incorrectly. When I advised Gina (in a polite way) who was the cashier a the time to review the pricing on the shelf as it did not tally with the price indicated on the receipt, she walked away and made a snide comment saying " oh I don't have lus for these people". She felt that I was a nuisance needed to just leaver the store. This was such disgraceful and to top it off, I had to insist several times to have the pricing corrected on my receipt as this felt like the store was trying to deceive people by charging a price that's different from the listed price. I got no customer service whatsoever from the staff at the store. I will never set foot in clicks Plumstead ever again and I will not recommend anyone to go this store and if you must, please double check the listed price and what they charge for items.
This must be one of the worst Clicks pharmacies I have ever had the irritation to visit! I waited in a queue and to be served for more than 45 minutes, only to be told that the prescription for my Chronic medicine was not on the system which I had given them a month earlier and then eventually when they went and looked for it found it, then to discover whoever loaded the medicines on only loaded one! I really enjoy this clicks. They are usually friendly and helpful. I have a massive number of items on my script that requires a lot of time and effort and they're almost always helpful. I took off 2 stars because of Lindsey. He is very rude and dismissive of me. Never believes anything I say even tho I've been taking the same medications since I was 1 year old and been coming to this clicks for two years. He even went as far as to call my pulmonologist when he didn't believe my "story", even though it was written on my script FROM MY PULMONOLOGIST HIMSELF.
My husband and I made an appointment online went to the store was told by Nurse Mpumelelo Kati our appointment does not reflect on his side. When asked how we can proceed to avoid this again he told me to shut up it is not his problem. He got highly irritated and said he does not take appointments on Saturday's. He is rude, arrogant and completely unprofessional. Normally Clicks pharmacy nurses are extremely professional and caring. Nurse Kati made makes you feel you are desperate in line by a government clinic
I visit this branch often, in particular the pharmacy section - these people are extremely helpful and polite. I will continue using this branch because the staff are so helpful. I come from a retail environment so I know what its like dealing with customers - Treat others with respect if that is what you expect from them. Retails is exhausting work.
Visited the clinic @ Clicks Plumstead on 6 December 2022 . Sister Nono was on duty. She was very professional and extremely polite. She has a very calming bedside manner and made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in. Thank you also to Robin Barnes and the pharmacist for assisting me with my purchase. Great service received. Thank you.
While it is wonderful to have clicks in Plumstead their pharmacy service is terrible compared to other clicks. The dispensary never answers their phone, they don't return calls and the service is slow. The staff are friendly but I suspect they are very understaffed. I dread having to collect my medication each month.
Trying to get hold of the nurse is shocking! Always scary when i have to get meds, worrying if i can get them on time as it takes days to get hold of them. Usually end up having to drive to clicks to book. Really sad that a pharmaceutical company has such bad client relations. CLOSED DURING LOAD SHEDDING
Don't bother going to this branch of Clicks. They are most of the times closed and blame load-shedding for the reason. Closing early and turning away 10s of customers at the time seems to be the normal thing for them. Will take my business else where as Clicks apparently makes to much money.
I would like to thank Zaeem Alli for excellent service. He provided medication that sorted out an issue I have been struggling with for months. He was extremely polite and professional during out interaction. Really appreciate the good service.
Staff always extremely friendly and helpful. The speed of service at the pharmacy can be a little slow on Fridays and weekends but the overall service at the pharmacy has improved greatly over the last few months.
Love the staff and management always friendly and helpful even the pharmacy guys awesome team. I work in Tokai mall but will go all the way to Plumstead Clicks Thanks Clicks Plumstead
Please can you guys answer your phone!!! I have tried every option available and no one picks up - this is very frustrating. All I want to know is if your clinic is operating.
THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE! BE IT FOR THE PHARMACY.... OR FOR A 'CONSULTANT'. I am soooo fed up.... i have also not been notified of my repeats to be collected ...
This is my regular clicks store when I'm at home. Friendly staff and excellent service. Conveniently situated, not far from Checkers, Plumstead
The service especially the rude male balding pharmacist is a joke. I live 37m from the pathetic excuse of a Clicks. I shall not be returning.
Good Service and they have good specials. I personally like the buy 3 for the price of 2 specials. It works well for a tight budget.
The queues can be a little slow depending on what time of day you visit but the staff are always welcoming and friendly
Horrendous service at the pharmacy, after 45 minutes, I still wasn't seen too. Will never visit this branch again.
I love this place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. They sell anything you could need from a Clicks
One of the smallest branches but always have what I want, always a good ahopping experience.
Effective, professional and friendly services at all times. Keep it up. ✨✨✨✨✨ …
Great support and service from the pharmacists, nursing sister and staff.
We have been getting all our medicinal requirements here for years now
No one answers the phone. Was ringing for 10 mins and still no answer.
They always have what I need and the pharmacists are helpful.
Very convenient. They are expanding to include a pharmacy
Poor customer service. 55 minute wait for service.
