This supermarket is good. This shop has the same goods as all the other Coles. It needs to be a bit warmer in there as the turn the temperature down a lot, as I think they want to preserve the food. I think the staff thinks it's too cold as well. There’s always something on sale. Every now and then, you will get bulk specials like box of coke cans for half the price. The people working here are quite helpful and friendly. The delicatessen has a good range of cheeses and cold cuts. There’s a good range of fresh food to choose from and most vegetables are sold when in season. The fish section is fresh all the time and you can get some good fish there. There’s a good range of fish to choose from and the fish are fresh. When the shrimp on are on special, I like to buy a few kilos and put them in the freezer. The meat section is okay. You can ask the butcher if they have any specials as well because they will know whats on special and what’s available. The dairy section has wide range of cheeses and milk products. They have good a choice of yogurts as well. I find the fridge section has a wide range of frozen products from pizzas to pies. Sometimes the duck is on special if you like duck. This Coles is decent for everyday shopping.

I struggle to shop at this store every week, unfortunately it’s the only supermarket in the area. I walk out of this store each and every time missing ingredients that I need, the stock position is so poor...it’s absolutely frustrating. Basic meat range such as mince and steak, bread is a supermarket basic. The produce is below average, its insulting that we are surrounded by fresh farmers a stones throw away and are provided with weeks old produce not fit for a rabbit. Understand the store can not control its range but the market is changing, just some healthy ready made meal solutions would be perfect for people with busy lives. The staff however are always friendly and helpful.

Yet another typical Coles experience. I wanted to make a fish curry. Sorry, no white fish without skin unless you buy disgusting Basa fillets sitting in a stinking pool of water. Ok, I'll make a prawn curry. Sorry, no green prawns. Ok, I'll have a vegie curry. Sorry, the cauliflower is mouldy and the ginger is that old that Moses could have used it. Ok, scrap the curry, I'll have noodles. Sorry, out of refrigerated noodles, alright I'll buy shelf noodles then! Now the veg? Snow peas are $14 a kilo & they're broken as well as limp and mouldy. Well, there's 45 minutes out of my life and still NO DINNER!

Because it's very close to where I live, it's really convenient but that's the only reason I go there. The fresh food department is very average, the food doesn't stay fresh for long. On a regular basis, there is something I usually get that they don't stock anymore, so there's less and less that I can get there. The times I go, they are often needing to restock the shelves or they are in the middle of doing it. They used to restock shelves at night but they don't seem to do that anymore - they'd rather annoy customers by blocking the aisles when you're trying to shop.

GET READY TO SPEND MORE MONEY! PRICES ARE INFLATED! Staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful. Quite possibly the worst super market i have ever been to. Will not be shopping here again would rather spend the 15 min drive to Hornsby and shop at Woolworths. I wish the IGA was still open instead of this stinking joint. ---- 2 Months later Decided to give the store another chance, items are listed at a different price and are inflated compared to other stores. Manager was incredibly unhelpful and rude. Thanks again Coles!

What a pity they seem to have abolished the plastic bag collection bins! Being a firm believer in disposing plastics in a responsible manner, being able to access a grocery chains that share this priority will determine where I do my grocery shopping. Sadly, Berowra Coles may not be part of this choice anymore! Update: Contrary to what I was told by one of their employees, the bins are back! Yay!

Disappointing that you can't take a trolley through self serve As a mum who had two children but only about 8 items where I would have just scanned them through myself I had to wait in line where only two checkouts were open and the line was going back but yet there was no one in the line for self service. No help was offered yet I had two restless children who didn't want to wait

Berowra Coles now never has hand sanitiser nor sanitiser wipes for trolleys or baskets refilled - always empty! They don’t police people checking in on Qcodes it’s up to you if you choose to. Other venues and cafes in berowra from my experience are always excellent. Berowra community has also become complacent one person wearing a mask Sunday evening in coles.

  • Matthew Farago

While a smaller Coles compared to other supermarkets in the area, Coles Berowra still has a wide range of essential products. The staff are locals from the area, and I have always found them to be friendly and professional. On my visits to the store, I have always found the store to be clean and tidy, with sufficient staff on the registers.

  • Warren Wells

Preferred Coles venue for the upper north shore. Well stocked, positive friendly service from the staff. Well worth the extra 15 min drive from Hornsby. Update 21st December 23. Checkout staff pleasantly engaging in genuine dialogue, go figure. Charming Interaction and engaging conversation with customers. Well done ladies.

  • Elisa Townsend

The service was awesome but due to the current herd insanity there's random bits of food making it impossible to get the basic stuff to feed the family and as I get paid monthly I shop the same so there's little to feed the kids or ourselves. Can more shipments be received?

  • Xue LIU

I visited Coles Berowra, to purchase five $250 Coles gift cards. The transaction took place at the manual checkout counter, and I made the payment without foreseeing the complications that would follow. As the receipt was generated, one of

Generally good, and convenient for the weekly shop but produce not always the freshest. Often too few staff on tills, and the self serve area too small with checkout slow due to frequent software/communication/scale issues on tills.

  • Wendy Swinburn

The self-checkout area is too small so no trolleys are allowed through. However too few staffed check-outs results in some lengthy queues. Suggest larger self-checkout area or more staff. An irritating abd frustrating experience!

  • Lorraine LeBlang

The onsite baked rolls are under proofed and under cooked. I have to go to Asquith to find and eatable Coles rolls. Surely there is someone on the staff that can train the "Bakers" when they start the job. Chris Le Blang.

  • David Greenox

This store is way to small and dosnt have the stock needed, they are contantly running out of fresh food and do not cater for workers that shop after 4. Some of the staff are no help at all and lack customer service.

  • Marek Dziok

On August 28th, 2023 at 6:30 PM, I went to Coles Berowra to purchase a ham. However, the staff informed me that I couldn't slice anything as they had just cleaned the slicing machine (shop closes at 10 pm).

  • D

It's large and with lots of variety but there are huge gaps across shelves where certain items haven't been stocked for several days. This incredible level of unreliability makes me shop elsewhere.

  • Christopher Jackson

Excellent helpful staff. Always love visiting this Coles, a very convenient location in this shopping village with other shops like Medical Store, Post Office, NewsAgent etc. Highly recommended.

  • Gary Harris

Not a large store by any means. I have shopped there for years and find that they stock all the essentials plus more. Fruit and veg are always very fresh and the staff are very helpful.

  • alan m

Staff are friendly and nice. However, this store constantly has shortages of various items regardless of the time of day. Fruit & veg better off elsewhere, seafood looks old & off.

  • Brett Freer

This is a smaller Coles store than most, but still has a good range of product. Unfortunately it does mean that the bakery is limited in what they can produce themselves.

  • Rebecca Bentley

Miranda at berowra coles is a star employee! It’s my local store and I get served by Miranda with a smile and polite chat that makes my day. She’s an asset to the team

  • Matthew Powell

To everyone who's wandering where the friendly trolley pusher is i deeply apologize i got transfered to hornsby i wish u all a continued positive exp at coles berowra

  • MissDavina

Popped in as a one off as it was on my way and I needed to grab a few items. Car park is quite pokey and small but the store is decent and had what I needed.

  • Hamish Townsend

one of the worst and most understocked coles's I have been to, only the basics at this coles, sadly lacking compared to the rich variety at coles Katoomba

  • dj silver

Clean and organised, a little small bit still seems to have what you need. If they don't other stores in the complex will have you sorted.

  • Ross Bille

No roast chickens again. Refused to give me a voucher for next time as their promotion promises. Contactless payment wasn't working...

  • Rony M

The staff is super friendly and it’s great for the daily/weekly necessities. But it’s lacking varieties you will find down in Asquith.

  • Gloria Parker

My local supermarket which has a village type atmosphere. Good selection of food and great specials. Very friendly helpful staff

  • Dexter Chung

Less crowded but still have what you're looking for. Also have lots of discounted items. There's now self checkout counters.

  • Patricia Clarey

I went in there around 7pm Christmas Eve & still managed to get what I needed, great service in seafood section & checkout.

  • Warren King

Good undercover parking, not too busy, good disabled parking and access, good range of products for a smaller Coles.

  • Geoff Turnbull

Not a bad supermarket but their fresh fruit and vegetable range is not great. Good bakery section and deli.

  • Andy PAGE

Not too big, not too small - just right. Great product range and depth, polite and helpful staff. All good!

  • Andrew G

Great friendly staff but stay away when they're restocking the shelves as you feel like you're in their way

  • Virgil StJohn

Very nice staff, very clean, well laid out, plenty of parking. A good Coles in a good little centre.

  • Renata Righi

Sometimes they have products here, that you can't get at Asquith Coles, so it's worth a look.

  • David Manning

Ok Coles. Pretty clean and reasonably laid out. Much like every other Coles on the planet...

  • MS &T

Handy local supermarket, but when we're serious about buying fresh produce we go elsewhere.

  • C Koenig

Great store, staff helpful, feedback given to Coles has always been acted upon.

  • Tim Mercer

The staff are always pleasant and helpful i have been going there for 15 years

  • Edward Stocks

Found the younger staff would rather talk than serve me at the smoke counter.

  • Reza Nashvi

They don't refill the shelves regularly. Specially over weekends mostly empty

  • Malcolm Heap

Large parking area under store as well as outside. Well stocked and range.

  • rocky desusao

Fresh veggies and good options for a quick grab of take away food options.

  • Carolyn Garland

Only visit if desperate not a very good store and staff aren't helpful

  • Beth Lee

Such a convenient location. Fruit is not amazing, as per every Coles.
