Terrible service. The girl at the express checkout got her finger out to count my items, and was making a fuss about servicing me due to the lack of space at the counter. I ended up having 14 items, I hope it wasn't too strenuous for her to process my order. I wish I got 12 watermelons. Additionally, she packed my fruit on top of the meat! I'm not sure if the staff are taught how to pack bags? Another time I came I had to ask 4 people if they had hot water bottles. I was sent to 3 different isles to look, and one guy looked at me blankly not knowing what I was asking about. Clearly there is poor staff training at this coles. If you come just to get your groceries and not expect any kind of service then you might have a more pleasant experience.

This place is ridiculous. They have self check outs that never open. When they are open the staff watch me like a hawk making me feel like they think I’m a thief. One assistant today even came over and started touching the screen to make sure I scanned my carton of Coke. When I told her no I hadn’t done it yet but I will she sat there and watched me till I did it. Either trust your customers to self check out or get more staff on at check outs. This is honestly the 5th time I’ve been made to feel uncomfortable about using self check out so I just won’t bother shopping here again if that’s how you make your customers feel.

We have been waiting for this coles since 2 years and I must say that it was worth the wait. The best thing about this coles is the bakery that you can smell right from the entrance. I have never tried coles bakery before. But since last 2 months, i purchase bakery items regularly. Everything is so freshly baked and delicious, I must say the bakery staff are doing so well. The arrangement was a bit confusing in the start but we have gotten used to it now. This coles should include shan masale as well. Thanks for the hard work you guys are putting in.

Hilariously poor service not a single checkout person on after the 15th time I have experienced this.. I ask each time why usual excuse we have so many sick staff I asked the girl today at cigarette counter where the 12 items or less was . I had to open the seatbelt thing to get in there mind you she got upset when I said why isn't there anyone on check out . Maybe they don't realise they will be out a job soon peopservice Ma

A fresh new Coles Supermarket has moved in and this store is doing things that not all the others do. They have a great selection of check out options, their aisles are well laid out in an order that makes sense. The best part i found was the bin at the front of the store filled with cardboard boxes to pack your groceries in (just like most stores did when i was a kid). It is a great way to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Brought a Sebco mop and bucket$66, got it home only to find only bucket in box. Couldn't contact store no one answered. Shelves always empty and Staff rude. Fruit and veg not best quality. For a new store this leaves allot to be desired. You pay am arm and leg for groceries never thought I would see the day I paid $66 for a bucket. Puts a new meaning to cost of living.

It's a nice shopping centre which has brought lots of convenience for the Box Hill and neighbouring suburbs. However, the designer of the front car park should seriously think of career review as it is one of the most awkward , confusing and ridiculously inconvenient car parks ever designed.

Clean, spacious, and great selection. Love the clear entrance and the meat section.. We found the meat and chicken parts that are typically out of stock when shopping late elsewhere

The Coles in Box Hill Carmel shopping centre is huge. The staff here are very friendly and never had any bad experiences when asking for help. It's well organised and clean.

Deli staff touching all the food and uncooked chickens with bare hands. No gloves or care for others food they have to eat. Didn't seem to care when I made a comment either.

Have arrived home to realise some items are out of date! Always closes early! Why advertise close time at 10pm if everything is shut before 9.40pm and no one is around!

8 times now I've come here to find they have no stock of what I wanted. 8! And each time it's been a different item. I'll go back to shop at Schofields now.

Newly built place, well organised and have plenty of stock available. Let’s see whether they maintain the experience in future or not

Great place. But they made the carpark too narrow to navigate. It should have been made with wider driveways etc...

Nice big new supermarket. Plenty of space and well lit. Heaps of parking available.

Coles itself was OK But I'll never go back there as the parking area is a shame
