  • "Very unpleasant experience in being discriminated against in fish shop today around 12:10 pm, I picked up a whole Barramundi with fingers and intended to buy , and I was told “ not to touch it with bare hand unless buying it” by old lady from the fish shop , I said “ I want this fish and buying it now” while handing over the fish to this lady, who took the fish repeating with her busy lips “ you can’t touch it unless you buy it , you can’t touch it until unless I buy it, you can’t tough it unless you buy it’ 3 or 4 times while weighing the fish then wrapping it"

"Coles did a bad job in this marketing promotion of little shopper and the staff in this particular store is unfriendly even rude"

"I love the Chatswood Coles Bakery's fresh baked wholemeal flat breads - I time my visits for mid morning to get them while they're still warm"

Very unpleasant experience in being discriminated against in fish shop today around 12:10 pm, I picked up a whole Barramundi with fingers and intended to buy , and I was told “ not to touch it with bare hand unless buying it” by old lady from the fish shop , I said “ I want this fish and buying it now” while handing over the fish to this lady, who took the fish repeating with her busy lips “ you can’t touch it unless you buy it , you can’t touch it until unless I buy it, you can’t tough it unless you buy it’ 3 or 4 times while weighing the fish then wrapping it. I felt very offended and discriminated against . I said to her “ that is what I am exactly doing, what do want more from me , why you are repeating 4 times” ? Then we had big arguments, store manage came and did not solve the problems. I was so angry, and left store with all selections of groceries in trolley including this fish behind Australia is diverse and multicultural country, discrimination based on appearances, races, languages etc are not tolerated, even a little sign Coles should train its staff how to serve, to judge, to respect an accommodate more nicely

Coles did a bad job in this marketing promotion of little shopper and the staff in this particular store is unfriendly even rude. I have spent nearly $2,000 in Coles but still can't collect the full set of the little shopper (only 2 missing). However, the staff in this store only allow one exchange (with bad face and impatiently) and the reason they gave is stock is low and they are busy! How ridiculous it is! If the stock is low, you definitely should offer more swap as I will stop collecting if get the full set! And the manager Jatinder spent 10 minutes telling me how busy they are but just unwilling to spend 10 seconds for another swap. Coles corporate marketing department should also review your poor promotion plan. You design this promotion to make your customer happy not to upset them. We all know it is just for fun especially for the kids' fun. Why not be nicer and more considerate to your customer? It is free to offer swap! Woolworth did a much better job than you by having swap day in every single store!

I love the Chatswood Coles Bakery's fresh baked wholemeal flat breads - I time my visits for mid morning to get them while they're still warm. Otherwise it's a very big Coles near to other food shops which are good for Asian groceries and Fruit & Veg** plus Food Hall - ie great spot for one stop shopping. Can be busy at checkout in peak times. Plus there are heaps of restaurants nearby and it's only about 200m walk to Aldi Chatswood Place and more shops. There's is sufficient parking (3 hour free) in the Chatswood Chase building except at weekend peak hour ** Edit - Unfortunately many of the nearby food shops have now closed down due to the Lower Ground Level being redeveloped into a "luxury retail mecca". The now permanently gone FruitEzy and Tong Li Asian Groceries are much missed by me. And the artist impressions of the "luxury retail mecca" look decidedly boring. At least Coles is still open.

Billion dollar company. They never have staff on the smoke counter. Never. I waited 13mins 40sec tonight. Wasn’t busy! No bell nothing. I expect coles being a billion dollar company to have that counter manned at all times. I’m a retail manager in the chase. And if my staff were not at the counter for 13mins. Customers waiting I would sack my staff. This is a joke. Coles do better.

Giorgia was a wonderful help this morning when I discovered that a cleaning product had leaked through my entire shopping bag soaking through my groceries and clothing. She was kind and patient. The customer support at this Coles is incredible and Giorgia's kindness helped turn my stressful start to a Saturday around.

COLES are now forcing people to "self-serve". This is totally unacceptable especially for the elderly & disabled. Additionally, I do NOT work for any Supermarket because I'm a customer who insists on proper customer service. If you don't want your assistants to "get a serve", then do your job!! …

Busy Coles within the Coles Chatswood Chase, around the corner from the ground level food court. It’s located next to Baker’s Delight. This Coles has a large range of fresh produce, dairy, bakery, frozen items and canned food items. It’s always quite crowded here, and not many staff around to help out.

This is the best Coles in the Chatswood area. You will have more space and options than the Westfield one, except for premium and fresh local offerings exclusive to the local version. The good thing is that here they have the Deli, bakery and butcher so you can get fresher stuff for these items.

At the self check out register, we had a pleasant exchange with a young staff member who came to replenish the paper roll for receipts. What a difference this was from the treatment we received last week from a middle aged check out person working at Coles Local, Chatswood.

A decent grocery store to get your groceries. With an overall cheap prices for groceries it's a good place to go to for cheap prices. However it was quite busy which was a bit annoying. Overall, a good store but there are better grocery stores and better Coles out there.

The store is quite spacious. Items are clean and well-organized in the right places. The staff is very friendly, smiles brightly and tries to help as much as possible when you need help, I'm so happy to have a good coles near my house.

This is our go-to place for weekly grocery shopping. It is conveniently located inside Chase, with parking in the basement. Its comprehensive range of products and friendly staff make it the easy choice of supermarket.

One of this Coles staff members is really rude, especially the woman with dark brown hair. She's ridiculous and so strange. I have no reason to be rude to someone. Did I do something wrong to you?

Horrible location, I don't understand these less than ideal locations here on sydney for grocery stores ...maybe I'm spoiled because in canada we have stand alone massive grocery stores

Wraps I bought are completely black with mould a week after I bought them. Expiry date is February 2024. Someone must’ve opened them before I bought them but this is disgusting.

all in one shop in chatswood New south Wales. it is like an Indian big Bazar. except clothing all crozarys, fruits, vegetables available. self paying counter also available.

  • JLW Wong

Increasingly poor, unhelpful and unfriendly service. Often you have to find someone to serve you at the checkout and seafood counter. Better place to shop nearby.

  • Tittu Nittu

Lovely Deli Staff, so many fresh options to choose from during Christmas. The Indian guy was very polite and helpful, no name tag so didn’t know the name.

Just want to thank the wonderful young lady staffer Ashley for service above and beyond to two wheelchair customers. Bravo Ashley!! You deserve a medal.

  • P Jenkins

Congested, messy and badly served by staffed checkouts. Long queues if you have a big trolley and don't want self service. Store often looks dirty.

  • SARGES’ Family

I prefer Woolies but had to shop here in a pinch. Nice, bright store with everything you’d expect from a supermarket

  • Byron
