The biggest issue I have with this Coles supermarket starts at the service desk. The wait for service at times borders on a joke, and some of the staff are just rude and arrogant. Rarely would I say my interaction with a staff member here is a pleasurable one. Many times I have waited while two staff members chatt away well aware that they have customers waiting. Also they have a few staff members who come across like they believe they are superior beings and give off a judgementel look along with a very unwelcoming vibe. Upon entering the store and making my way around the fresh produce, it's rather common to come across fruit and vegetables that have started to rot, smell and mould. They stock the shelves at the most inconvenient times, making it over crowed as consumers struggle to get past one another and some products impossible to access and at other times they have completely bare shelves. Many products are over priced and they lack variety also. If you have certain dietary requirements this is not the place to shop as the range is lacking and what they do have is so disgustingly expensive that I find it way more convenient to shop elsewhere, even when elsewhere is 20 minutes out of your way.
I thought I was just getting unlucky when I first moved in the area. But third time I've gotten a rotting chicken although the "best before date" was a few days to go. Also, the veggies seem to be of poor quality. The fruits are usually writhing away and I've had bad onions more than once. The quality control in the place needs to be stepped up. Me and my wife have also had quite a rude customer service experience especially from a staff named Rita. We actively avoid her when we're in the store but often times she's the only one on counter. She hardly ever smiles and greets. Even on greeting her, there is no response! Wth? Although this place is next to where we live, we now try and shop away in bulk over the weekend to avoid this place like a plague!
Never thought I’d see something this disgraceful. Went to the deli to get some ham… the woman behind the counter couldn’t ‘reach’ the ham I picked. She proceeded to reach over to the cut up (RAW) chicken slices and pull out a fork. She then shook the fork (covered in chicken juice) and then USED THAT SAME FORK TO PICK UP SLICES OF HAM. She wrapped up the ham like nothing had happened - and we left it in the meat isle. Utterly disgusted. North Parramatta Coles - Monday afternoon 4.30pm in the deli. Would like to know what you’re going to do about this health issue. Aside from that - all of the lettuce was quite obviously old and already had brown water juice forming. Not very nice at all
I was very upset with Coles Victoria Road Paramamatta today. Went to buy fresh prawns and sardines today in the morning and the girl serving me had no personality and didn't know anything about prawns. I asked her for Tiger prawns which was on special . At first she told me that they don't have it and later on packed different species of prawn telling me that it's cooked tiger prawn. I was really disappointed knowing that it was not tiger prawn as well as it was raw. I left the pack in the shop. Not a good experience.
This is very conveniently located near bus stop and residential apartments. As of now it’s the only hypermarket in North Parramatta area so it’s pretty crowded most of the day. I’m giving only 3 stars because fresh produces especially vegetables aren’t really fresh here. Packed chicken and meat smells very bad when i open it. Also when i walk near to the seafood area there’s strong smell of seafood and chemical (probably bleach) and once i found a packet of mouldy Naan bread laying in the shelf.
Been coming here for years, it's got great produce and they always try to keep it well stocked. The staff are friendly and helpful and the place is kept quite clean. There is a bakery and deli on site too and a wide selection of cheeses. There is a bathroom with change table if you're in a pinch, just gotta get the key from the service desk. It's wheelchair friendly and easy to access the rest of Entrada shops from here. Just don't park there for too long! Otherwise you have to pay.
I usually love Coles stores. This place has a dirty roof and right above the fresh food section and the staff don't seem to have a good knowledge of the products in store. Staff member wouldn't return a product to my child after getting a price check because he thought she was going to steal the product. It's a pain to have to chase someone around just to get a bag at self service. Why don't they have bags more easily available? You clearly don't trust your customers at all.
This is the third time receiving appalling service from the Coles staff here. Specially people who are sitting the kiosk. No willingness to help, bad attitude and mannerism is not what we pay for. Even the security had the decency to come and help or tried to provide assistance but the staff. Rather drive 5 mins to go to Woolies where people know what they are doing! Going forward Coles need to address staff training in this branch at north parramatta!
My local coles but has literally half of the range of a typical Coles found at North Rocks or Westfield Parramatta. Always have to travel to other supermarkets to get products that they don’t shelf. Bread doesn’t have longest shelf life. Discount ice creams are always impacted by freezer/ice burn (ie melted and re-frozen again). Frozen food supply/range is below average at best. Nice friendly staff however. Wish my local supermarket was better!!
Locally i am living in north parramatta.. Most of the time i have seen this coles is not up to the mark. Always run out something no eggs no milk and some milks are out of the date . Meat items also not enough. Veg items very less never found the new vegetables. Few of the customers care team also rude and not cooperative. This is just feedback you can do better if everyone put some efforts. Other than we need to go Woolworths. Thanks
It's a bit pricey and with all the recent Increases some items have gone up considerably more than they should... Eg... Single Mi Goreng noodles where $0.70 they are now $1.00 was and they no longer sell the pack of 5. That's. A 42..8% increase.... Woolies still sell the pack of 5 for $3.95 3a.... Cat food here is as dear as 8ve seen anywhere.. it's probably cheaper 5o buy John west tinned fish for the cat instead of decent brands.
Nearest Coles near our place but we’ll start avoiding this store because the order pick-up for direct to boot orders is dreadful. Thought it was one-off so we tried a few more times, but it’s been consistent long wait times to get your order. The mobile number dedicated for online orders sometimes can’t be reached. There was also one time when they forgot that we already called and were already waiting downstairs.
Worst coles I've ever been to. Local to us but absolute rubbish service, no understanding of cleanliness, never ever has full stock and no one cares about maintenance or keeping it tidy. Regularly understaffed at checkouts and lines of 30+ people waiting for self serve. In all the times I've been, I've never once seen the medicine isle actually have any stock in it...
Customer service is not friendly from many customer service workers at Coles North Parramatta. It's common for the workers to see a customer and ignore them. Yesterday I had a rude person serving me and shoved groceries into the bags squashing the ice cream I bought which now looks like smashed ice cream on a stick no one can hold. Very rude customer service here.
Worst customer service of this store Today i went to Coles and i ask the guy whose name is ISAAC where can i find zooper dooper and very rudely he said we are here for filling shelves not here to telling these things after that i ask him can you please call the manager but he ignored I don’t know coles hire theese types of staff Very disappointed
At time missing stock, over stock of there own brand. I spoke with a worker told him that there was food that had expired the day before and he said they take stock of at the end of the day, I have seen some (what look like mould or fungus) on products and there Delli well there has times that the food looks like it's been sitting around to long
A very nice place to shop. One of the fully stocked stores in Sydney. However, some aisles are not labelled properly so sometimes its bit frustrating to find something. I also noticed that the staff working there are not fully aware of items one is looking for. They simply say they dont have it. You find it when you look for it.
Terrible customer service. First click and collect order had half the items missing. I have opted for home delivery instead; however, when there is an issue this store won’t issue an exchange or refund. The Coles customer service phone help said this store’s management intentially opted out of providing the service.
Terrible staff... One Old night filler was moving soy milks with this legs... He looks like indian and it was around 4.30 P.M in 21 may. Same day i saw another guy chewing tobacco during shifts. This stores is terrible. As they don't inisitate to help you while searching foods.
I just wanted to give feedback to the outstanding amazing display of the seafood section created by your staff member Hope, Outstanding in customer service also, Great to see and brought a smile to my face for this Easter, Thank you Hope and North Parramatta Coles supermarket.
Worst coles I have ever been too. Their click and collect system is terrible, you are literally waiting for up to 40 - 60 minutes in the Carpark for them to bring it out and majority of the items are missing because they are out of stock or forgot it! COLES PICK YOU GAIN UP!
Never bother to choose this store to click and collect. You will get the confirmation and everything but you can wait forever in the car waiting for your order. They will never turn up. They start to collect your order only after seeing your face. Poor management
95% of the time the staff are friendly and warm. There's a few staff members in there that are a bit cold, like a fridge, but overall pretty good. There's someone who lacks their knowledge in wines and wears some products on the shelves. But overall good experience.
Why is this Coles always dirty and messy? Is it the shop or people making a mess... Staff should tidy up the place a bit. Misplaced items everywhere. Out of stock for many products and less products. Always crowded. Worst place to do grocery shopping.
I found this Coles store to be a bit old and tired looking. Other than that, they had all the products you'd expect from most Coles stores. Have also deducted stars as my 7yr old daughter needed to use the bathroom while we were there. When
This store is getting worst and worst. The staff has no idea on what is going. Can’t tell were items are. The store has more box’s in it without stock. And the staff need to be trained in customer service. If I could give less stars I would.
Very well stocked super bazaar. Things are arranged in clearly marked racks/sections. Staff is very helpful - though most of the times, need not have to seek their help. Self-checkout facility is very easy to use, though it can be tricky at
Handy location to my hotel and a great selection of everything one would need from a supermarket. Also has fresh ready to go meals in the fridge section. Easy walk back to the river if you want to sit and enjoy a snack outside.
A medium-sized Coles, it's the supermarket of North Parramatta. Parking can be a bit of a problem during weekends, but there's plenty of street parking if you're willing to walk a bit. The staff are very helpful.
Terrible and has been for a while. Can never find two things in stock. How can a Coles with a bakery never have bread on weekends during breakfast time. Worst run Coles I've been to. Consistently disappointing.
Great underground parking, but although it is an area high in Asian population, pls employ people who can speak and Understand Aussie born people. Food looks very fresh and the aisles are well spaced.
no one can help me to find anything and very bad experience with this coles.. i ask one employee for help to find he said i don’t know go and chek anywhere… that’s it this is ans from that employe…
A late afternoon visit to buy something for dinner and I learn it's a time when mainly the fridges, and some shelves are empty. I can only assume that it's been a busy day with lots of customers.
Quite a dirty Coles, fresh produce isn't really fresh, deli meats discoloured and grey looking. Stock levels are pretty bad considering 70% of the isles are cluttered with stock trolleys and boxes
I hope my negative feedback do not stop customer to visit this store. I believe that feedback is one way to improve and make the change for better, so I always try to provide helpful feedback.
Staff are friendly and do their best but there's clearly not enough being rostered on. Doesn't matter who the poor person on the service desk register is, they can't do two lines at once!
No complaints. They still have two cash machines (where you can pay cash). Watch for their weekly specials to save $$$. Come outside busy hours (ie, before 09:30am)
Coles Entrada is a great coles. It’s pretty big and has everything you would need. Customer service is fine and wait lines aren’t ridiculous. A nice little coles!
This coles is lot better compare to one in westfield shopping center. Only complain for me they only open one counter and push everyone for self service.
Wish I can give zero for this store. Half of the stuff missing , shelves always empty. Don’t know who is the manager but managing the store badly.
Pretty big store, staff is quite helpful, supportive and friendly. Indian grocery has been stocked up on occasion of Diwali
Great place to do your general everyday needs shopping, with easy access to the store and good parking available.
Products are similar everywhere in coles. But my 5stars are for the parking lot provided. Thank you
It's my local supermarket and it meets the requirements and needs I have very well.
Nice and clean and is yet serving its purpose being round the corner.
helpful staff. I wish the trolleys didn't need a gold coin to use.
Nice quiet Coles, but sometimes under stocked in some departments.
Always short of stock and does not have all the items available
Below average, meat section always low on stock
