"Amazing space that is large enough for a Boeing 747! The variety and quality of items is truly fantastic"
"Unless you use the direct elevator, it’s a mission to get to on foot…get to the rear plaza then down 2 flights of escalators into the basement of the new high rise residential tower behind the new office tower fronting the Pacific Highway directly opposite st Leonard’s train station"
"Probably the rudest and most unbothered staff on the planet"
"Plenty of stock "
"Welcome back, but this time to the south of Pacific Highway"
Amazing space that is large enough for a Boeing 747! The variety and quality of items is truly fantastic. The best way to navigate this shop is to download the Coles app and make a shopping list for yourself. The aisle number will appear as you create your list and it will save you time. There are lists in alphabetical order available on the entrance side of each aisle for those not inclined to shop with their smart phones. The vegetables are neatly stacked and the special prices are clearly marked and offer good savings.I immediately noticed the cleanliness, nothing on the floors to impede your mission. Friendly team members are always there to assist in self checkouts. As I live in the immediate area I shop here regularly and am delighted with this supermarket.
Unless you use the direct elevator, it’s a mission to get to on foot…get to the rear plaza then down 2 flights of escalators into the basement of the new high rise residential tower behind the new office tower fronting the Pacific Highway directly opposite st Leonard’s train station. However trip is worth it as it’s a large full line Coles bigger than other nearby Coles, and vintage cellars adjacent is a bonus. Truck drivers beware sweep paths don’t work off Christie Street off Pacific Highway, as the pic of Budweiser Truck that got stuck shows… access for trucks via Nicholson Street instead to correctly approach Laneway access to loading dock
Probably the rudest and most unbothered staff on the planet. Self Checkout - which I despise anyway , they stand there and ignore you when every second item you scan needs their attention… why are you standing there then? No one ever at service desk, staff packing shelves whilst trying to shop and having them stare at you because you are in their way?? Shuts way earlier than website suggests, with staff telling you at 930pm that the store is closing …. This is the only time staff are attentive. Lol Jeff, one of the cashiers like to throw change in your hand , I guess he’s scared of germs. ♀️ Should def be on level one. Silly layout.
Plenty of stock . What I appreciate is the self checkout lane for almost all coles supermarkets with the one that you can put all of your items then you scan them. It is easy for me to put them in my cart without worrying the weight of the item. This branch also has the ff features: - you can slice your own bread based on the size you wanted - they also have the pet section where you can weigh in the treats you want to buy in different portions. I love this store as it is a walking distance from my place. Also very clean and spacious!
Welcome back, but this time to the south of Pacific Highway. The more spacious store, even though it is on the second basement, is still a familiar shopping experience. I bought two kind of Magnum ice creams that competitors and even Coles next door do not have. There are still some construction site projects around, and the parking for entering routine the building needs to be planned. So far, there are two Coles, one Woolis, and one Iga within this one-kilometer range. Hope to have more differentiated products and services.
A brand new store opened across St Leonards Station. Located at 2 escalators down from ground level. It's got lots of new products and is good in quantity wise. Compared to other Coles stores, the Aisles here are very long and it's very spacious. Each department has a specific area with more space to move in. The checkout area is even more spacious and has over 15 self checkouts in addition to the registers. The staff here are very responsive and helpful in finding the product. Overall, the store is just perfect!!
You need a map, emergency supplies & patience to find this place as its pretty much in the basement. Signage is poor & it was only that a colleague told me it was open that I went there. The actual suoermarket was fine with everthing you would expect. The young lady supervising the self-service area was very helpful to this Kiwi visitor!
A new Coles in the heart of St Leonards. The store is big and bright and very spacious, lots of room to move around. Plenty of variety for products. Located down 2 sets of escalators from Pacific hwy/Cristie street or there is onsite Parking as well. It looks like there will be directly access to st Leonard's train station in the future
Brand spanker If you're looking for a supermarket that's massive, modern, and has self-checkout that's a breeze, then you need to check out the brand spanking new Coles St Leonards. This place is so big, it almost looks like an airport terminal. the amazing staff are always on hand to help you find your way around.
Its a big store but should have been on ground floor - easily accessible. Staff is still not aware of where the things are and not interested to find out. Coles Crows Nest staff is too good on the contrary. Would have given 0stars to St Leonards store if available.
Staff at checkout is pretty useless. Rushing me to scan my flyby card and when I was busy packing she rushed me to pay first? Didn’t even offer to help pack, seemed very impatient. Terrible experience today but otherwise this coles usually was a pleasure to visit.
Clean and tidy with polite and competent staff, however, was disappointed that there were no Arnott's Gaiety... Sure, plenty of other great Arnott's biscuits to choose from, but when you're craving Gaiety, even a Tim Tam or a Caramel Crown is not going to satisfy
First time here. Chicken nuggets barely edible... like dry, hard little chicken meat cookies. Nugget- obsessed kids wouldn't eat them. I guess this is why they don't call themselves the "fresh" food people. Didn't buy anything else so can't comment on the rest.
1st: Probably the best Coles I ever been. Nice venue, big, tidy, bigger products range, different products. 2nd:Still shut because bursted pipes. I know it's not Coles fault, but it's getting really annoying. No message how long it will take. Roughly at least.
Brand new, big and spacious, wide variety of product options - e.g. I can find the brand of milk I like here (which is quite rare) (but who knows if they'll keep stocking for the long term or not - we'll see!), very convenient location. Overall very good.
Says closing time is 10pm however saw the doors shut while getting off the escalators at 9:35pm, 25mins before closing. Had to go to Crows Nest Coles instead which was still open, popped in and out to grab my stuff.
Again, customer service is appalling & this whole site is a rabbit warren. Any fire or emergency situation will be dangerous & difficult to find exits & safety quickly. St Leonards was always a dump. …
I feel very sorry for coles . I was looking forward to shopping at the store but there seems to be significant construction defects delaying opening. That’s a whole store’s stock that will have to be replaced
Absolutely brilliant in such a prestigious location. It has everything you need and has killed off the competition in the area! Only downside is that it's located below ground level.
It's new and doesn't get many people yet, but once the tunnel from the station side opens. That'll be that. It's a typical Coles. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
I frequently go to this Coles, more than twice a week. Quite spacious and full lineup of the products. Staff are really kind and professional. Highly recommended.
Nice new tidy supermarket. Lots of products. Easy parking in the building. Only thing missing is something similar to Woolworths' Scan & Go. Come on Coles...
Self checkouts are practically useless and require constant intervention by staff. It’s also impressive to have so much floor space and such a meh selection.
Large and spacious Coles (full format). It is open again after a maintenance issue. Parking is very easy after figuring it out for the first time.
It's palatial and they have stuff in stock. Staff aren't surly and don't seem to mind helping. Don't have to slum it at Crows Nest Coles anymore!
So happy it has reopened. I like the carpark, it's hilarious reading negative reviews from ppl too lazy to even use the lifts / escalators.
Love the stores, neat in tidy, Plenty of ranges in so much to choose from. I always got my stuffs here that I cannot find in other stores.
Excellent customer service, friendly management and best pleace to get fresh fruits and vegetables. Glad to see them open again.
The staff is not at all helpful. They never help to locate the product and not even refilling on time in spite of availability
Great Coles with a good selection of food. The only downside is getting into the carpark is a hassle and out of the way.
Too far underground for my liking. I reckon you need a miner's license and a safety rope to descend to such depths.
Still closed after the burst water pipe, very inconvenient - they should at least open part of the store up
Kudos to the worker who stocked the tomatoes when it first opened, was very impressed. Very large coles
I like this Coles...very good selection of products and always well stocked. Staff are very helpful.
Great Coles. Big store everything you'd ever want from a Coles. Car park takes a bit to get used to.
Finally here’s a decent size Coles in ST Leonards! Hope they will keep the stocking level up!
Yeah, this is a lovely new Coles. Underground but easily accessible. Clean, lots of variety.
Standard massive Coles. Staff are great, shelves are full of food, what more do you want?
Awesome , feels great when I was gone for shopping over there Beautiful beautiful
Great store . Thanks for opening the store near our house. Keep it up …
Brand spanking store just off Pacific Highway at St Leonards.
Good new facility but poor service stops it getting a 5 star
One of the largest coles. With all Asian products available.
They open from today Wed 3rd May. 7 am to 10 pm not to 9 pm.
great coles in STL since chatswood ones aee all coles local
Went today but closed due to flooding from a burst pipe :(
Closed already for 2 weeks because of a burst water main
Nice quiet Coles with good parking and friendly staff.
