I used to shop regularly at this Coles as it’s small and I can do a family shop in less time. I would drop my kids to school and go do the groceries. They would only have the self serve registers open plus the one at the service desk, so nothing with a conveyor belt or anywhere to put up your groceries. The staff were always lovely and would help out at the service desk putting through my big trolley of groceries and would get another staff member to help as it’s ridiculous to try and put this through the self checkout. However this really wasn’t practical so I started shopping elsewhere. I returned again tonight, the first time this year and yeah nothing has changed. 1 register open, 1 closing and 6 trolleys lined up waiting to be served. Queues at the self service. Still not really good enough so I won’t be back until I forget about this and duck in again… Come on Managers, put on some staff.

Coles, what can I say... It's Coles and generally the stores are all pretty much the same except for the odd thing here and there. I really like their roast pork and beef thats already cooked to perfection and ready to eat, it's a nice change from the standard roast chicken. Service is always good, even when they are busy and they stock a fair few gluten free products that I eat and enjoy regularly. Gluten Free two minute noodle cups and they taste good, Gluten Free shortbread cream biscuits, Gluten Free bread varieties and Helga's five seeds wins for best taste and consistency hands down, it doesn't get the dry cardboard feel or stale bread flavour. Glad one if the big chain supermarkets cares enough about the small percentage of the population that are coeliac and have very few options to choose from. Cheers!

One of the least organised Coles/Woolworths I have been to. Never has enough stock, tiny isles, the deli continually shuts too early. Tonight they tried to tell me that they could not cut any ham for me as the slicing machines had been cleaned. I know for a fact that delis in Coles do not shut before 8pm on week nights (it was just after 7:10). The only reason they cut the meat for me was that I told them I would complain. You are better off heading to Engadine, Southgate, Miranda or Kareela. To boot I find the younger staff on the checkouts really slow and unenthused when they work. Only having one register opened with such incompetence shows the management there is inept and obtuse. Doubt I will bother going back.

After being taken over from Supa-Barn, the times I've been thoroughly disappointing in the quality and availability of product has driven me to avoid going there except if I have no other choice. They've taken what was a good thing and screwed with it - removing the favorite staples with greater variety, and replacing them with several different brands of the same thing. And the bulk nuts? The number of children I've seen stick their grubby hands in there... NOPE. Get your act together.

Shocking... We used to live at Caringbah and did shopping at Coles at Caringbah .. We were very happy.. Lots of variety of veggies ,fruits and etc. and well organise. Now we moved to Sutherland ..so shopping at Coles in Sutherland .. Really disappointed not proper organise, no fresh veggies and salads . We are one of the loyalty customer . But Sutherland Coles supermarket is getting worse and worse everyday .. Now we have to go do shopping at Caringbah ..

I would like to compliment the young girl who was on the self serve checkout yesterday 8/7/2020 between 11.00am and 12.00pm. Her customer service is excellent. I forgot an item, left my shopping at the self serve checkout, when I returned, she had scanned and packed my groceries for me. I’m a retired HR manager and that young lady has a very bright future ahead of her.

Store needs a revamp, its dark when you walk in the the bakery and fruit & veg section. There's always leaking around the freezer aisle and it doesn't have as much stock choice as the newer stores. Side note - they stock 50 thousand brands of orange juice but not that much choice for any other flavour. Disappointed :( The staff however are always lovely and friendly.

  • Christine Hallett

This is one of two Supermarkets in Sutherland. This one has under store parking. They have a good deli, fruit and veg section, meat section, fresh bakery, seafood section as well as general supermarket. Not the most massive supermarket but carry all the general stock you need. Great if it's raining. They also have a lift from parking area to the shop.

  • Penny

Doesn't offer the most extensive range of products, buy for a small store, it's pretty good. Ample parking, always clean and tidy but often hard to find a store member to ask questions, or check in stock. Plenty of parking underneath but always get a ticket, if the machines are actually working, as they can fine you otherwise :(

I live in sutherland and shop there regularly. In the recent months, whenever i have bought fresh produce there has been something wrong with it. Raspberries - had dead bugs in it, capsicum/ onions- was mouldy on the inside, honey bought in may - expired in february. Thinking i might start giving my money to another supermarket.

  • Analir Pisani

Coles Sutherland, I did find the prices cheaper across the board. I have shopped at Super Barn which I liked but it is more expensive. I love the smell of the bread as you walk into the store it does relax me and make me feel good. The lighting is great the Veggies and Fruit are of good quality. Customer service is great.

  • Christine Quinnell

My favourite Coles store. It has easy access to parking. People don't dawdle and it's friendly staff are always helpful. In this Covid-19 time though it's difficult to move around in a social distancing way. There should be arrows going in one way direction, like IKEA so people have room to pass in one direction only!

  • Belinda Sinclair

Stopped by on the way home for a quick dinner. They have next to no vegetarian options in their freezer foods. One frozen spinach pizza, a few spring rolls and pastizzis, some quorn. No family size quiche, no meat free nuggets. Kirrawee Coles has a lot more options in the meat free range so I'd prefer to shop there.

  • James M

When I went there on a Sunday afternoon, a lot of the products weren't available, and staff were blocking aisles chit chatting to each other. Self checkout glitched twice, so we had to call for assistance. Outside, the gardens are littered with cigarette butts, and there was a homeless person on the bench.

  • Lisa Reynolds

My mother who is suffering terminal cancer was in this store for 5 mins and required use of toilet urgently was denied use of any toilet on premises and told to "go to pub" what a disgrace, my mother looks obviously unwell and was very distressed. I have contacted store no response, disgusting vile company

  • A C

Great service today. I had cash only today as my wallet and cards were being replaced after being stolen. I was fumbling around my handbag trying to work out how much cash I had in the self checkout and the lady on duty was very helpful and nice as I had to return a few items as I didn't have enough cash.

  • Carolyn James

I was at Coles Sutherland around 11.15am last Sunday, terrible experience. Long, long queues at the two check outs that were open, I had to resort to self check out and as I had a trolly full of items was not happy about this. I believe if you do the work yourself you should get a discount of at least 5%.

  • Sally T

This is a smaller Coles but a great go-to store to pick up additional groceries on your way home from work or on weekends . Conveniently located close to Sutherland station. Their shelves are generally well stocked and the produce is fresh and good quality. The customer service is quick and friendly.

  • Charles Craig

It's my local Coles. It used to be a SupaBarn, but, it seems not successfully enough I do not like to be obliged to shop with people who clearly destroy competition and 'interfere' with their 'market' in a manner which clearly disadvantages consumers, farmers and suppliers Well, you did ask Regards

  • pedro sanches

Coles bought this a year or two back, and immediately revamped the store. Easy access with undercover car park and wheelchair ramp. Situated in the heart of Sutherland there is also a large frontal street entry. While not as big as other Coles stores it offers a damn fine selection of products.

  • Gabriel Coins

Prices are pretty high there, there was a sandwich that expired yet it was still being sold, even though they are doing a quick sale, the prices are not that lower like in other shops, staff members are ok, nothing good, nothing bad, usually clean and is accessible to everyone.

  • Ron Mannix

Very well laid out store! Very clean with a massive fruit and veg section, very large bakery, deli, seafood and meats areas. Was also pleasantly surprised at how few people were there when I was shopping. First time in a long time I actually enjoyed grocery shopping!

  • Rebecca Nolan

Coles is great and provides excellent variety. However, the layout in this particular Coles actually makes me avoid shopping there. A quick shop takes so long because items aren't where they are in other Coles, I'm unsure why this is so different.

  • Pavlina G

A smaller Coles. They have a standard array of products. I don't know if you could do a big shop here but more than enough for a mid-week refresh. There is adequate parking below. It is a dissapointment from the Supa barn that was here previously.

  • Jo-Anne Walshe

This is not the first time I have had the same problem at Sutherland Coles. Was there this morning and had to wait nearly 10 mins for a cash self serve to become available, there are only two now. As I had more than 12 items could not use

  • Amber Witt

Huge Coles with a very limited range. I often can't find what I'm looking for and certain products run out very quickly. The store seems to be run at a minimal staff level which I'm sure would have a huge impact on Customer Service.

  • Paul Jones

Smallest coles I have ever seen. Very limited range, but what stuns me more is that even though the shop is so small the shelves are a disgrace... facing shelves would take no more than 3 hours for a shop this small.

  • Cheryl Carnice

I really enjoy shopping at Coles Sutherland, which is conveniently located near our home and only a one-minute walk away. I have a great fondness for the store and find the staff to be incredibly friendly.

  • Bridget Duffy

Terrible Coles - staff are nice, but they variety is average and the quality is awful. The "fresh" meat and groceries have gone off by the time you get them home, and they barely stock any milk or bread.

  • Rhys Thomsen

Like to be honest its extremely convenient, but the lack of variety and reception holds it back from being a better coles such as those located in places like katoomba, kareela, miranda, and shoalhaven.

  • Chris Collins

Small to Mid-sized Coles, decent range of products (including deli section). Helpful and friendly staff. Ample parking underneath. Self service checkout works very well. Best supermarket in Sutho

  • Vic R

Literally no customer service. Not sure why they have no people serving at the checkout and only have self service? Line was out the door. Dont bother shopping there, go to IGA around the corner.

  • Gary Bulger

Self service checkout only Sunday evening, not sure when this happens at other times but there should be at least 1 attended checkout open at all times. Will give this place a miss in future

  • Jonathan Sokolowski

The aisles are so narrow, and to add insult to injury 9/10 aisles will be blocked by a staff member's gigantic goods trolley. I've never seen traffic jams like this in a supermarket before.

  • Harry Hoogendoorn

Good range of Coles products with many Christmas specials. Helpful staff, cheerful and friendly. Some fruit and vegetables were in short supply and more expensive than usual. Overall great

  • MARCUS FLORY

This store is pathetic in regards to counter service. Staff would rather keep customers waiting then logging in a terminal and processing a sale. Absolute disgrace to the retail industry!!

  • Tyler Hill

It's located around a lot of public parking and has it's own two floor basement parking lot with two hours of free parking. For a relatively small supermarket it ticks a lot of the boxes.

  • Gregory Long

It's a typical Coles supermarket. Only noteworthy thing is that it has 2 levels of parking below it. Most people don't notice the second parking level so it is usually quite empty.

  • Paul Dickin

Totally adequate, fewer products stocked than larger locations, so watch out if you're looking for specific items. Improvement over the supabarn that was there previously by far.

  • Carol Shaw

We do our weekly shopping and buy fresh milk and bread and fruits and seafood every one should do there shopping experience there family and friends will be glad they shop there

  • Teresa Stanton

The Coles store is ok for food etc - I needed to go to a larger store for a wider range cleaning items eg mops. Also the parking is not so accessible being under the store.

  • Alexis Hudson

A bit understaffed, usually only self serve open. You have to request to be served, which I have had to do several times as I have small children with me and a full trolley

  • Kuni & Mots Potts

Always come here to shop my groceries, friendly staff great variety of fresh foods. Eventough I need more variety for Asian section, like instant sachet for Indonesia food

  • Pat Whittaker

One of the worst Coles I've used. Check outs are rarely ever staffed and you need to shop here early because they don't often restock the shelves or fruit and vegetables.

  • G B

Smaller than the kirawee coles and congested Never any produce and the deli is always at minimal stock - drive to Coles Kirrawee where there is always stock in abundance

  • Dorothy Wagner

Hard to get parking and almost every time i go here the only counters open are self service so you need to wait ages whilst people scan there whole weeks shopping.

  • Monica Recnik

Sutherland really needs a larger grocery store, as Coles Sutherland don't have the wider variety. However, no complaints with the staff; always helpful. :-) :-)

  • Matthew Leake

Its only moderate in size with limited parking, but there is generally almost enough staffed checkouts available, and it has a decent selection of everything.

  • Jessica Devlin

Definitely not one of the best COLES in the Sutherland Shire. Under cover parking annoyingly has ticketed parking.. and the selection in the store is sub par.

  • Michael Bolton

Coles Sutherland is a small Coles with a great range of products. When I lived in Sutherland I always found the team members here we're always friendly.

  • Benjamin Shiels

Very small for a Cole's impacting greatly on variety & fewer sale's. Cramped isles making for constant traffic jams. Not bad service from staff. …

  • Dmitry Novik

Somehow I can never find the inexpensive home brand products in this branch: - coles coffee beans are never there - nor is a budget toilet paper

  • Amanda Jones

As soon as i find something i like they remove it from the shelves. I buy most of what i need at the local vege shop now and not much from Coles.

  • Terence Sommerville

Coles at Miranda . very handy on our way home from the east and. City by car...also Coles at Engadine very handy as well staff very friendly....

  • Warren

Large amount of parking spaces which are free for the first 90 minutes. The store is open and is well stocked with nice sized floor plan.

  • Nores P

Went for a big grocery shop and not a single cash register was open. So we had to use self serve. Still prefer Woolworths. 11.5.17 8:00PM

  • Drewski McG

I would say they are making the most of the limited space, but the end result is a cramped and dated feel compared to newer supermarkets.

  • Fatema A Munia

Needs more checkout operators all the time and not only busy hours. Not all customers like self-serve machines. Limited range of stocks.

  • Carol Shaw

Coles in Sutherland close to station on the way home can buy what l need milk and bread and dinner so you can relax at home after work

  • Kev Obrien

Went to coles sutherland cause I couldn't get it at roselands they had it there might start shopping at sutherland not as busy cheers

  • James Paul

Was better when it was Supabarn. Now has less selection, less staff and they've turned off half the lights in the carpark underneath.

  • Ryan Smith

Always happy shopping here. Good product range and reasonable prices. Never have to wait in a queue. Never out of the stock I need.

  • Kelly Plumpton

Small store, therefore smaller selection of products. Staff are helpful at self service checkout, easy parking esrly in mornings

  • JayPee1er

Easily accessible for both wheelchairs and public. Parking downstairs or street parking. Like woolworths, no more plastic bags.

  • Luke Reynolds

Large Coles supermarket with fresh design. The shape of the building means long aisles which can make finding goods difficult.

  • Daniel Bruin

Typical lack of checkout staff, luckily the IGA around the corner is usually quiet and better for a quick topup of groceries.

  • Cindra Hilder

Nice and handy, lots of underground parking! Got a beautiful birthday cake from there the other day. Staff are always happy

  • Dennis Sieber

Not the biggest Sortiment. Parking is good. Too tall vehicles can often find a spot right in front of the carpark entrance.

  • V DF

Good if you need something quickly, but as the Coles is small, there isn't much variety. Wouldn't do my weekly shop here!

  • Kian Lok

It's always well stocked and clean. It has a pretty good meat selection too, with kangaroo, venison, rabbit, and quail.

  • lauren swinfield

Great produce and deli meats etc, plenty of parking and usually don't have to wait in line for longer than 1-3 minutes.

  • Ben Moss

The girls at the service desk were kind enough to hold on to the LAST Vegemite scoll in Sydney for me! Great service.

  • Genesi Castro

Average Coles store. Smaller than other stores so not a big selection of products. All the staff are really helpful .

  • Bernadine Paige

If you're doing a big shop rather go after 10 in the morning. Before that they are still busy packing the shelves.

  • Klaus

Good supermarket with reasonable variety of products and produce in general. Can be a bit crowded in the arvo.

  • jason turpin

Good supermarket, has everything you need for a quick stock up, lines to get served aren’t usually that long.

  • Pip Oddie

Been a few times. Only if necessary they don't mark the specials quite often so take your pamphlet with you

  • Pat Schuberg

The Coles "fresh hot cross buns were still frozen in the centre. Straight from the oven to the freezer?

  • TIMOTHY WILLIAMSON

we shop there every day, it has everything we need to do our weekly shop or just grab something quick

  • Robert Arthur

Good street and under cover parking available. The prices are reasonable, always specials Tobe had.

  • Jamie Kirkland

Not the same range of goods as other Coles stores. Can never get parrot seed. Have to go elsewhere.

  • Abbey Road

See one Coles, seem them all! Aldi around the corner has better value for your hard earned dollars!

  • Daphne Whitton

Grate value and very friendly staff and not leave u feeling like u got hit by a bus after shopping

  • CamStans

Useless. Charge a fortune and have no one working there. Queues a mile long. Go to IGA next door.

  • Jodes M

Not enough staff at the registers. But great if you want to wait in line to deal with a machine.

  • Tina

Friendly staff, parking is easily available. Deli has lots of choices. Fresh fruits and veggies

  • Craig Walker

The self checkouts could be a bit wider shelves where sparingly stocked not bad if in and out

  • Louise Mott

As good as grocery shopping with children can be. Helpful staff made the experience better!

  • themis Economou

I support Coles all of the people are great and very respectful and your products are good

  • Darrell Wolles

I think a smaller Coles than normal but has everything you need for a weekly family shop.

  • James B Coogan

Great place and close to home , not the biggest Coles , but fine for me , can walk there

  • Zac Lyon

Parking can be tough to find. Busy times prepare to wait as not all registers get used

  • Janice Stokes

Bree was fabulous - going the extra mile to help with a tricky order. Very impressed.

  • Rebecca Gonzalez

Helpful staff, small but has everything you need. Well kept store with fresh produce

  • Lisa Estelle Moller

I got Toilet Paper. Which I can't get from any other Coles. Tinie Tiny Isles though.

  • Graham Brooker

Not quite the usual Coles experience. It is a bit small to stock the full range.

  • Habibul Islam

Sutherland Coles safe for shopping with family. COVID-19 safety rules followed.

  • Jeffacina Swagerz

I was such a bad customer tonight but the staff were really nice and forgiving

  • Jo Newton

Finally found an Australian owned and made hand wash. Nature's Organics …
