"Has everything I need"
"Most amazing experience"
This little strip mall is getting better and better. I have lived in the same area for about 5 years and have watched it evolve into what it is today, a brilliant melting pot of food. Albeit could still use more authentic restaurants as opposed to franchised food chains i am happy with it's offerings now compared to a couple years ago when it was mostly clothing stores. This mall includes: Loblaw/Joe fresh LCBO Rexall/pharmacy/postal service: Canada Post Suzy sheer (clothing) Shiny Budd (marijuana dispensary) Dollarama Chances R (sit-in restaurant) Chatters (hair care products) Osmows (Mediterranean food) Mucho burrito Reitmans (clothing) Kettlemans (bagels, open literally 365 24/7) Popeye's (fried chicken) Dynamite/Garage (clothing) Sports 4 Carter's/Oshkosh (children's clothing) Tommy Hilfiger (clothing) Carrier studio (clothing) Bath and body works La vie en rose Allo Mon coco (sit-in breakfast: HUGE portions) Starbucks College square dental Thai express Edo japan Goncha/Changchun (bubble tea/rice hotdog- think pogos that be extra) Fido (cell phone) Rogers BMO (bank) Beer store.
Be warned that you cannot park at this mall more than 2 hours!! The signage about this detail is 10 ft high on a few posts within the lot. I was just getting back to my car when the parking lot person was writing me up and that's when I was informed that the max is 2 hours. I had gone to lunch at one of the eateries and spent money at 3 shops. As he was just writing the ticket I said I was just heading out after spending time, and money at the "mall" can I not get a ticket? He agreed to not give me a ticket and he left, without giving me the ticket, so imagine my surprise when I got a notice for a parking fine from the City of Ottawa for $95! I am never returning to this mall. I'd rather spend my money at another mall and take my time having lunch then shopping and enjoying my time instead of feeling rushed and risking another parking ticket fine.
A nice well kept mall with a good selection of stores and restaurants. I've been shopping here regularly for over 10 years and I will keep shopping here for many more years to come. Chances R restaurant is a great place to eat, either indoors or on the patio with a wide variety of culinary delights to choose from. Loblaws in College Square is a nice large clean well stocked grocery store with a fantastic seasonal garden centre where I buy my plants every Spring. And I discovered how great the bagels are at Kettleman's here in College Square. Lots more great stores to visit!
Has everything I need. From well priced clothing to nice clothing for a good price. There's a Popeyes chicken in there and it is the best operation in the area. The employees work extremely hard and the food is always great. Very good job with the parking lot over the winter. Very happy with the property owner and it's tenants. 10/10 Will always recommend friends family and anyone I meet to enjoy this luxurious, professionally maintained and talked about spot. Especially as someone who has been frequent in the area over the last 6 years.
Most amazing experience. While I was trying to get some groceries, I was passing by the flowers corner, I was gently approached by the young lady to ask me if I needed any help. She was so awesome the way she promoted her flowers, without being assertive!!! I ended up buying two beautiful pots of flowers and two bunches of cut tulips. Emma is her name and congratulations for hiring people like Emma. I didn't go to buy flowers but she made them tempting. Very happy with the experience ☺️
Other than groceries, I avoid the place. I don't know what to say, people drive like idiots, there seems to be a distinct lack of respect for others. I prefer to click n collect on the weekdays, mid morning afternoon, I have been avoiding drivinging there in the am or late afternoon. I find the parking spots too small. The organisation of the prkng lot is laid out poorly, leaving an accident waiting to happen. N
How perfect this area is for not only for the public but mainly for these college kids. Not to big that it distracts from their studies but a pharmacy, grocery store, a bank and a few clothing/shoe stores for the year of late night cram sessions and a party or two to blow off steam when stress is at an all time high. I honestly do think this mall is perfectly placed and a perfect size. Five out of five stars.
Everything you need. Groceries at loblaws are expensive, but there os a Dollar ama there too for some essentials. Lotsnof takeout choices. O particularly like the.Asian section of ChungChun, GongCha, Edo and Thai express all right beside each other. Beer store and LCBO right there too. Always lots of parking. The parking lot always feels safe = no unhoused people loitering around there.
The loblaws is a fair size. It has a good selection of foods. Plus with the added clothing section. The Joe fresh clothes are good for casual dressing. The Walk In Medical centre. As its closed . You have to do online zoom calls. You have The Dollar Rama, kettlemans Bagels, Pop eye Chicken, Bath n body works , Tommy Hilfiger, La vien rose, chances R restaurant. Lots of stores
A huge selection of shops all right here. With also lots of food options. However it feels nothing stands out as really good. The only thing that might is Chances R. A nicer restaurant option. The Home Depot is also very handy and fully stocked with a great tool rental service. The entire mall is generally fairly busy too which can be a little bit of a hassel for walkers.
These box stores, which pop up everywhere it seems, have a little bit of everything you need I find, especially college square shopping plaza. It is conveniently located next to the transit-way so getting to and from these designations are a breeze! Friendly staff in most of the establishments, and many, many options for what you may or may not be looking for!
My favourite Garage/Dynamite outlet store in the city! The girls who work here make your shopping experience fun, they help you find exactly what you need - customer service 10/10 and the cleanliness is impressive for being an outlet store. I've seen some pretty messy outlet stores so shopping the sale section here is such a breeze (HELLO COLOUR COORDINATION)
Good variety of shops and food; convenient access to groceries, pharmacy, alcohol, apparel, and a collection of niche shops. Nicely maintained and easily accessed by car or transit. The central parking lot is it's biggest drawback, as you will likely feel exposed to the elements while moving between stores, with effectively no cover to move under.
The plaza has changed a lot over the years for the better. From what was once a clothes shopping spot, it's now a hub for quite an array of international fast food. From shawarma to Thai to Korean corn dogs, this plaza hits every craving. If all else fails, there's a massive Loblaws, not to mention a fast food selection of its own.
This shopping area is a gem in the area with many eateries, brand stores, dollarama, Banks, gym and many more. Parking is ample. The Loblaws store has Joe fresh, Tim Hortons and Goodlife in it and super busy all the time. There are other businesses close by as well, such as Macdonalds nearby, Home depot and what not.
Good for groceries and some decent food places though not the best for walking around. It encompasses the huge parking lot which doesn't really have a path through. So either walk around the entire square or risk your life with bad drivers that don't use blinkers. Clothes stores are Brand name and overpriced as well.
College Square is a great location if you live nearby. It has all the amenities you need in just a short walk away from home. The selection of restaurants is pretty nice and the stores here are decent too. I don't see a reason to visit though if you live further away, not much would draw me here in that case.
One place for almost everything. Top reason for visiting there is that the restaurants open till late night. Surrounded by food and drink options. Coffee burger pizzas and even Alcohol. You also have Loblaws for groceries and few other stores including Home depot. If you are nearby, I'd say must visit once.
There is a kosher section - a counter and two aisles! There is a weed shop. A shawarma place. Kettlemans! Allo Mon effing coco! For those who miss going out with their grandparents there is Chances R. A drug store. Dollarama. Starbucks for the thirsty sheep amongst us (yes. I am one of them). That:s all.
Wht they build these box malls in a cold place like Ottawa I'll never know. In winter the experience is abysmal. Cold, Dangerous ice underfoot. Diabolical moving from one store to another in high winds with below zero temps for months on end. I only go here if I absolutely have to. Bloody awful.
parked to grab brunch with a friend and grab groceries. there for maybe 2 hours and was given a $70 ticket. tried to dispute and was told to call the property. tried calling the number on google and was told it was the wrong number. no way to contact anyone for the ridiculous ticket i received
It has an ok selection of stores and but it's not too easy to see where's the store that you're looking for. There's ample amount of parking but a bit tricky to navigate yourself into the proper parking lot. But it's convenient and the stores (Tommy and Aldo) has some decent special / prices.
A really great collection of businesses and stores conveniently located at Woodroffe and Baseline Rd. You will find Loblaws grocery store, LCBO, Beer Store, Rexall, Dollarama, along with multiple restaurants and clothing stores. Lots of parking and certainly never any problem with access.
Nice little strip mall to get just about everything that you might need. There is a few brand name stores here like, Tommy Hilfiger, Aldo Shoes, Guess and a few more. You also have the Beer Store and the LCBO here as well, just in case you want to pick up a few adult beverages.
There is a large assortment of stores here at College Square, everything from clothing and shoes to food and drinks. There is ample amount of parking, however if you want to get very close to the particular store you are visiting it maybe difficult to find a parking spot.
I love this place. Because this strip mall is immediately basically on Algonquin college campus, it has absolutely everything, from clothing to pharmacy to restaurants to fast food to grocery store to lcbo to beer store to cell phone carriers to the bank. IT'S ALL HERE!
There are several interesting stores there, most notably Loblaws. Because of the proximity to Algonquin College, it is vibrant with many buyers and visitors. However, the design of the mall is car-centric, just like most malls in North America, so it is tricky by bike.
Has a little bit of everything when all the stores are open. I love the restaurants, I've been to all of them. I frequently go to the loblaws there because the prices and deals are better than the other locations because this one is near to the college.
Love the Loblaws at this location its pretty big we love going here to do our shopping especially the fact they have a Tim Hortans inside so when you do your shopping you can go get a coffee they also have a great meals to go area very big selection.
Loblaws is incredibly over priced, yet prides themselves on their "locked in prices" in response to inflation. That is only their no-name brand. Their no-name is the priciest of all generic brands. The store itself has good service and nice employees
Though it is close and easy to get to it is not bicycle or pedestrian friendly. I'm not a fan of these 'big box store' malls. Especially unpleasant in winter. But at least this one has segregated parking to make it safer to walk around in.
Love that BMO drive-thru ATM! More of a gigantic strip mall than a "mall", which invokes images of Rideau Centre or Bayshore. Despite this, it is very easy to navigate by vehicle, and safe for pedestrians. Groceries, beer, banking, mobile
Kind of ironic that it's not a square. Unless I don't remember what squares are. To be honest, geography wasn't my strong suit. I am proud to say though that there were very few bugs to be seen. Very good, happy people can be found here.
Be careful parking here. You get parking tickets for no reason and when you try to explain at the city they don't care. How are you supposed to prove that you remained on the property when you walked around and didn't buy anything. I
This place is just not cool. I feel bad for the kids of Algonquin that this is their local grocery, pharmacy, and place to buy liquor, weed, and fried chicken. All these places are more expensive than counterpart stores in different
Great place to shop as you have everything you need in one area. From groceries to clothes to restaurant to alcohol it really does have all the things anyone would need when shopping. Also check out Kettlemans for some great bagels.
A small yet convenient outlet in the area. It doesn't have a lot of shops/supermarket, but you can get everything you need there without getting out of the community. A restaurant and Starbucks make it a good location for meetup.
Too many college students. Not a variety of stores . There could ve a Giant Tiger store and more clothing stores and Resturants. People drive recklace in the square . I don't think the square is good for tourism to shop in
Killer collection of stores in one parking lot. One of the better Loblaws ringed with Kettlemans, Going Cha, both types of liquor stores and lots more. Better than trainyards if you include the home depot behind it.
Good variety of stores. The space could be much more people oriented and much less car oriented. Would be a great change to see when the new LRT line comes in. Some cute sitting spots but not much of a true square.
The garbages near all the food places are always overflowing onto the ground. It has been like that for over a year. They need some better maintenance guys because the ones they have obviously don't do their job
Many stores with a walkable distance between them. Has options for groceries, clothing, self care, home goods, and a few fast food options. Great options for the college students nearby and non-students as well.
Meh! It's nothing special. Lots of fast food restaurants. Home Depot and Loblaws are among the bigger ones in Ottawa. I find the HD to have inventory issues from time to time. Descent retail department at HD.
Hi I'm the guy who is the basketball . This place used to be great when spring shoes, Guess stores were there. Now a bit boring with less selection. Tommy Hilfiger sucks. The food stores are good. …
Great location, lot's of free parking, huge Loblaws, LCBO, Beer store, Rogers and pharmacies and restaurants and ... well, just about everything you'd need. This is part of our regular supply stops!
Typical box stores but good selection and always parking available. Fast food places are understaffed so expect longer than normal wait times. But like a typical Canadian I'm thankful they exist.
This outdoor mall always has a bit of everything - restaurants, pharmacy, grocery, liquor, dollar store and a few outlet stores. It's great for an hour or two of shopping and running errands.
Went to Starbucks for coffee and a sandwich. A bit overpriced as the sandwich was not worth the $10 they charged. It was mostly bread. Won't go back again for lunch.
I always love College Square mall. My 2 favorite stores!! Starbucks and Bath and body works. If I want to go in and grocery shop as well everything is right there.
Lots of great shops here. The home Depot is the reason I went there. The Loblaws is the largest in Ottawa and has everything you need when it comes to groceries
Its crowded here usualy. With reason. But meh im not a fan of crowds. Also how the parking lot is made. Its all over the place. Gotta watchout to not hop curbs
The stores are great but it could use more pedestrian space. Thanks to Navaho it's fairly accessible by bike, although not 100% for an innexperienced cyclist.
Odd designed parking and odd selection of stores. But it has a lot of clients. Did a stop to bring back the bottles. And bought my shoes at another location.
Great square foot visitors of the area, lots of merchants and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended. Reviewed by Tarek Belghith from RZ Network Inc Canada
I. Was sitting. In my car talking with a friend. When two cop cars were. Parked. Side by side.. I don't. Know if they were looking. At things. Or. People.
If you live close to here it's a great place to get your prescription medication & they can also put your prescription medication put in blister packs
Went to the Home Depot to pick up a few things, and I am really grateful for the help and expertise I got in two different departments in the store.
Everything you need in one place. Handy mall to have close to me. Everything from groceries to pharmacy to sit down restaurants. Tons of places
Fun upbeat collage friendly shop around Market style mall indoor/outdoor for store to store. All ur needs in once place.very convenient.
Has the basic stops that a college student needs. Except I feel like an art store or stationary store would be good here and convenient.
This mall has almost all what you need from food to liquor to a variety of stores. Now they have physiotherapy and massage services..
Parking sucks. Every spot is so tight and close together, and drivers are idiots and speed through the zones. Stores are great.
This is a great place for a 1 stop shop. Grocery store, clothing stores, Starbucks, dollar store, LCBO, etc... Can't beat it!
Nice Square everything you need McDonald's important Subway Loblaws LCBO and beer store now Starbucks is added to the mix
Much busier place than when I lived in the area in 2006. Plenty of stores to shop at food, clothing, beer, and liquor.
Excellent variety of shops and very large Loblaws. Ample parking. Not the safest design for pedestrians. #localguide
The parking lot here is always so ridiculous. It's a horrible design especially over by the dollarama and chances R.
Not too busy, good traffic flow. Loblaws is always decent though item for item WalMart is always going to beat it.
Good place to get groceries, have brunch, find fresh bagels, shop at Garage/Dynamite and grab pharmacy essentials.
Far too car centric. No suitable public transit links. Almost zero bike parking. Pathetic given how new this is.
Nice & close to where I live so that I don't have to go so far away to get my prescription medication …
Everything is great but people don't know how to not walk in front of cars while they're moving …
Nice location with various options from restaurants, a loblaws grocery store and some stores to shop
My hematologist is in this medical centre and it is so much more convenient than going to the Civic
Has everything you need. Easy in and out. Great stores and services. Will recommend if in the city.
Great ammount of different types of stores. DIVERSITY makes us all better at the end of of the day
More decent than before when I was going to college......They have everything that you need there
2 thumbs up. It's a great area to visit n shop. There are a multitude of stores to choose from.
Stopped off at ShinyBud to restock. Roisin was very helpful with suggestions. Great experience.
Haven't seen much change in the 'competitively priced' dept. Would be great if I was dieting.
Took a look there, pretty interesting to find all tgese stires and markets and restaurants !
Lively shopping district. Pretty busy (good sign) but it makes it harder to find parking.
Um good for student because you can get everything thing to anything you need to survive
Loblaws prices are out of this world. Stick a fork in me, I am done shopping there.
Huge variety of stores including groceries and places to eat. I ate at Kettlemans.
Several stores are available, many restaurants, Loblaws, Starbucks and many more.
Great access to OC Transpo bus station. Great variety of stores to choose from.
Great overall place to buy almost everything you need as far as meals go.
Chances R Restaurant in the mall is a great place for group breakfasts.
Good selection of outlets but the parking is terrible. Badly designed.
Big variety of stores and outlasts. Supermarkets and pet stores.
Everything in one stop. Clean, lots of parking and central.
Decent food places and always a good amount of people
Loblaws , although high prices, is the best in town.
Kettleman's Bagels. Poppy seed. Cream cheese. Yum
A good place for grocery shopping and eating out.
Decent store choices. Horribly laid out parking.
Nice staff but small store and limited inventory
