Admittedly, I'm not an Ottawa native, and I'm writing this as I am planning on leaving the city, so please, temper all of the below with the above in mind. I'm giving this mall four stars, I'll say this - its likely the best suburb located mall within 10 minutes of the Core of Ottawa. (Of course the Rideau Mall is likely the best mall in the city) why only 4 stars then? - because the stock and availability of items, particularly higher end items, is not what you would expect it to be in a mall of this size in a large Canadian City (Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver are all far better, with far more malls of this calibre to be found within city limits, but that's to be expected with their populations - Calgary, Edmonton, even Winnipeg, Halifax and Quebec city I would say do a better job of having stock) Certainly this place is worth a trip if you're local, or not planning to travel in some time, though given my travelling for work, I find myself taking time when I'm in larger and more populous cities to swing by a mall for anything more premium, or if I'm looking for a varied selection.

Shopping malls have suffered significantly due to on line purchasing and by restrictions due to COVID. Large department stores that were traditional anchors for shopping malls as well as smaller merchants have not been able to remain in business. But the malls still have remained and hopefully can reposition themselves to remain vital for consumers. I like the upgrades that St Laurent Shopping mall has gone through making shopping there a better experience. They continue to provide good services throughout the mall and I hope you enjoy your shopping experience as well. If you like my reviews, photos or videos then go to the food court and just say I like it.

Moderately busy mall particularly for this time of season. With the large chain stores closed and vacant, and looking pretty shabby from the outside it was a pleasant surprise to enter a clean accessible indoor shopping area. Not loaded with kiosks, information staff and security were approachable and the floorplan is extremely straightforward. Good selection of stores, definitely not flagships, but up-to-date and extremely acceptable. Washrooms weren’t the sanitary and smelled bad, as a little bit more attention could’ve been paid to the cleanliness of them. Overall satisfying shopping experience.

this is a decent shopping centre to hangout with people. they have a decent food court with a variety of different stuff to eat. there is a good amount of stores, and it's targeted to many different audiences. i go here a LOT with my friends and it never gets old. there is also various public transportation choices to get here, and there is a lot of parking space for personal vehicles. the only downside is the recent cases of violence by the transit. people often get jumped by the trains, and there was multiple stabbings here by the bus station. as long as you're aware, this is a fun place to be!

I am disgusted and appauled. There is a seating area beside the stairs to the foodcourt. I am wearing a dress and it was brought to my attention that there was an older man looking up my dress as I climbed the stairs. That seating area needs to be moved. My partner made eye contact with the man and he diverted his eyes. I love this mall and have never noticed this previously. The seating area is in too close proximity to those stairs. I felt violated and spoke to security as well. I was told the issue was to be brought up with mall management.

St-Laurent, just like other very few Shopping Centers in Ottawa desperately need to evolve or they will continue to lose more and more merchants and clients ultimately. There are fine examples of stellar success stories in other countries, but, unfortunately, not Canada. The secret is very simple: focus on the needs of families, not the profit margins. Profit is an artifact of good business models. Good business models will focus on the needs of families. An intelligent business person would know what to do by now.

It's a nice consolidated shopping center. Looks pretty modern with the interactive maps. Natural lighting with windowed ceiling. Multi-level parking garage adjacent to the mall. A food court with plenty of options for your pallet and ample seating. I was there at lunch time on a Saturday and it was busy and no problem finding a place to eat my Taco Bell. Also, it didn't seem to loud, come to think of it. Although it was just myself enjoying my own company. Anyways, I'll most likely be back. Check it out again.

It's a mall with mostly all the same stores as other malls. The location is very convenient for running errands as there's also trainyards close by and the mall is right on the transitway. My one big problem with this mall, and this hasn't changed in 20 years, it's always too hot especially in the winter it's usually boiling hot even after you strip off your layers. It's so uncomfortable at times that of I do go here it's always only just for a quick in and out.

Hearing from multiple stores that their back storage rooms flood every time it rains is kinda sad. Morguard should be fixing this and covering the cost.. It should not be left up to the stores who rent to pay for such things. Very sad. Also if you could please change the mall playlist. I spent the day here and heard the same 50 songs from the 80's on repeat. I can only listen to "never gonna give you up" so many times in a day before I go looney tunes.

The place is easy to access through public transport. There are Plenty of spaces for parking. There are different kind of shops that suitable for many needs. Specially the food court contains different type of food outlets including famous ones as well as local ones. There is a Plenty of space to walk and light condition is good. It has a Beautiful landscape and architecture in the premises. There are some hotels located in the walking distance.

When I lived in Ottawa before moving to the Gatineau side of things this used to be my go to mall. I finally returned to it to check it out. It certainly isn’t what it used to be. Most likely stupid covid has had a lot to do with it. Mostly the same stores that I remember but some new ones as well. I enjoy the food court. Hopefully things will get back to normal soon. It needs to be infused with some light and energy again.

There are a few decent stores at this shopping mall and plenty of parking. I was impressed with the food court, and after eating at Subway for two days straight, I would say they were very good quality. The mall is clean with plenty of places to sit. The one downfall is that there are no electrical outlets anywhere to charge your phone, or plug a computer in to do work. I would have stayed slinger had this been an available option.

I visited the Saint Laurent Shopping Mall recently, and my experience was quite pleasant. One of the things I appreciated the most was the minimal hallway clutter of kiosks. It made navigating the mall much more enjoyable, as I didn't feel overwhelmed by constant sales pitches and distractions. The clean and organized layout allowed me to focus on my shopping and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. Overall, a great shopping experience!

  • Barbara Agyemang

The mall itself is nice. It’s clean and has some nice stores. The security guards have big cop syndrome. Why should I call ahead for permission to park my bus while I shop. What difference does it make what kind of vehicle I come there with … I’m shopping I’m not taking root. Does everybody who shops there have to call ahead to let them know there are coming and give them vehicle description and license plate #? I think not!

The shopping mall is at good location eastbound , and also gets connection to St Laurent buses and O-train. A sight-seeing traveller shall take time to walk or ride from St. Laurent Shopping Mall to a lot of shops along St. Laurent Boulevard; several new car dealers at both sides of street close to Donald St...That's my favorite place for the weekends.

  • Candice Tysick

Of the two nursing rooms available one was out of service and the other did not have a power outlet available I could use to operate a breast pump. Even with help from a maintenance employee a suitable option was not available. Nursing room and family washrooms were otherwise quite nice and I'm sure will be used by our family in the future.

  • Sherry Honey

Bright clean spacious mall. Well maintained. The elevators are dark and dank and very small. They operate very slowly and are not very well located. In this area this mall fails sadly. Overall shopping experience satisfactory at best. Not a place I want to hang out for a day. A quick trip in and out is more than sufficient for my needs.

They closed the bathrooms that are in the basement, past the office doors on the Goodlife area. I went though the Authorized Persons Obly door, took a right and kept going to go to the bathroom but it was closed! Turns out I was pretty late to the party, as it was closed since 2016. Please unlock the doors and open the washroom.

Looked at St.Laurent website. Worst website I have ever seen. List of stores has letters a to z but you can't click on letters to see only stores under a certain letter. When on map and click on store it says 'Visit Store' and all it gives you is the phone # and hours of operation. Incredible. Website is less than useless.

  • Chickadee Chick

Such a pain in the butt to get into the mall. My kid really loves to shop here but there are junkies and sketchy people all around the mall. I would definitely up security. My daughter said she walked outside in the parking garage and stairs and she saw used needles… very sketchy mall now.

  • Dapo Oluwaseyi

Always a delight whenever I visit the mall. Loads of shops to visit. Wonder where the photobox guy is now. Anyway, make sure you visit Purdy's chocolate for their ice cream. Hallmark is just across Purdys if you want to get seasonal gifts or birthday cards for your loved ones

  • CATSRUSboutique

St. Laurent Shopping Center is a pretty good shopping center …. as far as shopping centers go BUT what ever you do, DO NOT GO near the Laura Secord/Toys R Us wing if you’re at all hungry!!!!! The food fumes will have you drooling all over the place! …

  • B M

I enjoyed shopping here. The food court is clean and the staff are very attentive. They clean the tables immediately after the clients leave. The security guards are also very helpful. They directed us to get the Uber driver to pick us up at the right entrance.

  • Henri T. De Souza

Very clean, lots of options but prices off the charts in many stores. Due to Covid19, many measures have been implemented to keep clients safe. The affluence is low and volume of shoppers significantly reduced in the last months or so.

  • Janice Kelsey

Beautiful interior. Great stores. Lots of parking. Only downfall was I didn't feel safe there. There was a lot of large groups of people wandering around making a lot of noise. Not what I've typically experienced at other malls.

  • Larry Taylor

This shopping mall has it all for every age and every taste. I love the huge food court which has many different tasty food for every appetite. This is my favourite shopping mall in Ottawa., especially during the holidays.

  • Jay A

INS Market needs new staff I've never dealt with such a piece of garbage person who's supposed to serve customers with respect. I'm not coming back here ever again and I'll tell everyone else not to. Fire him seriously.

  • Skiff

It is a nice shopping center. However, if you have sensory issues like me, i do recommend you bring ear covers, as there is quite a lot of noise with the number of people there, there are more people during Saturdays!

  • Faris Itum

People must be sleeping on this mall, because it blows Bayshore and Rideau out the water. Good sales, great brands. Not as fancy as the other malls, but definitely offers a wide selection of great brands.

  • Sana Fawad

Maybe a few more elevators. Considering the size of the place there was only one elevator - I went with 3 friends and all of us had double strollers. Took us 10 mins to just get up to the second floor -

  • Gordon McDonald

I like the variety of shops and Me ities on this Mall. Very spacious hallway Rao.o g space to accommodate large numbers of shoppers. The ga ilities are also very clean and brightly lit. …

  • Brian Eng doing his Theng!

They're in the middle of upgrading the mall but overall there are some interesting places to see here. They have a large variety of stores so they just have exactly what you're looking for here

  • David Mann

Comfortable mall, undergoing changes. Could use other types of stores. Lots of shoes, clothing and jewelry shops. Would like to see more sports, technology and other more varied shops.

  • Kevin Haratian

We find almost everything here. The prices are reasonable. The environment is so warm and friendly. You feel at your home. Thank you for preparing such a comfortable shopping center.

  • Lyne Turcotte

St laurent has a good choice of clothing stores & shoe stores, as well as a good food court option. If you don't feel like tracking all the way to Bayshore, its a good option!

  • Jacques “Player” Periard

What a beautiful shopping mall and good amount of stores. Visit the "WOW mobile kiosk and get the BEST service ever. Ask for Rahim. Thanks for all your help!!!

  • Adrian Sjoberg

Ample parking (free), good quality food court and has most of the mall stores I like. The movie theater is also severely underrated and only $7 for a ticket

  • Jackie Plante

It's my favourite mall in Ottawa area..lots of stores to choose from; always clean too...parking is great there as in easy to navigate..good food court too

  • Priti Srivastava

Free parking great air conditioning. Surprised to see so many stores on verge of collapse. Not sure about the state of economy and survival of this mall.

  • Anne Simon

The shopping centre has been renovated and store locations have changed. Lots of fashion store were added. The seating is very comfortable and plenty.

  • Harleen Kaur

Ate here for the first time. Fast service, fresh tasty food, generous portions. Mango lassi was delicious and creamy. Coming back for sure …

  • H P

Average sized mall with a decent range of stores available, with a mix of large scale and small scale retail. The mall is often fairly crowded.

  • Kelly H

I love shopping here because the variety of stores is amazing. A great place to shop, and to get your steps in for the day at the same time.

  • Tina Levasseur hutt

This is the mall to go to for a good walk about, especially during the winter months. Open early for breakfast . Friendly people and staff

  • makenzie lawrence

So it's super clean, but most of the escalators were off, and I couldn't find an elevator. I do love the indoor entrance for the o train.

  • Trevor Leon

  • Vickie Girolami

St. Laurent Shopping Centre is a favourite mall with pretty well everything you can hope for. Always clean and bright.

  • B Leva

Poor layout, bad selection of stores and sketchy area. Would rather drive to Toronto for our back to school shopping.

  • Dolly Ross

Was nice walk through..a few ignorant people in the mall..makes it. Unpleasant experience.. But otherwise was nice

  • Megan M

Browsed the mall for a bit. Lots of decent shops and not too busy. A little outdated but not a bad mall at all :)

  • Phil s

The parking garage at the sportscheck looks like it's going to topple. The mall itself is nice for the most part

  • Scott Matheson

Haven't been in this mall for sometime. Was able to find what I wanted easily enough. Mall was not that busy.

  • Mary Coll

Love the mall. So does my 4 yr old granddaughter, can't wait to take her to see Santa this year, hopefully.
