If you are looking for excellent, comfortable shoes that are not commonly found, this is the one stop shop. Save yourself time and doubt. We visited 4 other stores looking for quality and comfort for feet that are wide due to big toe bunion, and wasted a lot of time. Everybody asked "What size are you?", and nobody measured foot size. At Comfort shoes Plus, that was the first thing they did, and immediately the store manager offered several wonderful options. No pressure to sell. We arrived late, but she stayed beyond closing to ensure we were happy with our choices. There is no doubt that this is the place where we will continue to buy shoes.

Last weekend I went to the store to check if they sell the orthopaedic shoes for a prescription from my doctor. The store manager (or owner?) told they don't deal with the prescription or insurance because of customers cheat with insurance claim. He was not sound friendly and welcoming. As a new customer, I was shocked. Decided not to go there for any reason and tell my family and friends to stay away from this store. I think, the manager (or owner?) has attitude issue.

We were very pleased with the service and advice provided. Suffering from heel pain we went in looking for a solution. They guided us instead to a specialist to ensure we understood the exact nature of my wife's problem. We then returned with the knowledge that the issue was in fact achilles tendonitis and not plantar fasciitis as we originally thought. They had the right shoes with a wide assortment. The owners of this very special store in the established neighborhood always have something to satisfy their client's needs, sometimes very special, for comfortable footwear. I am their client for many years, just wander how they find different suppliers from all over the world and take a risk to bring the footwear that you cannot find anywhere else for very reasonable prices. The customer service at Comfort Shoes Plus is phenomenal! The shoe selection is amazing and they carry brands that I have not seen at other equivalent shoe stores. I cannot recommend Marina's patience and expert advice enough. If you are looking for knowledgeable service, this is the place to go for high quality shoes.

This is my go to place for quality and comfort shoes! The owner does a very good job at finding and sourcing the best world brands that are known for its quality and comfort. I don’t know of any other store in Ottawa with such grate selection of quality brands.
