I recently used Common Sense moving company to help me with my relocation, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with their service. From start to finish, Sam made the entire process a breeze. Their initial estimation was quite accurate, and to my surprise, the move ended up taking even less time than expected. It was the opposite in my previous experience on the other moving company. They estimated less, so I charged more than expected. The movers were efficient and careful with all of my belongings, and they made sure everything was transported safely and securely. The only hiccup we experienced was that one of the drawers from my entertainment table was broken during the move. However, Sam quickly made it right by reimbursing me for the cost of the drawer, almost close to its original price. I was very impressive. I can't recommend this moving company more highly. If you are considering relocating, I would 100% recommend them without hesitation. The entire experience was seamless and stress-free, and the fact that they were willing to make things right in the event of an issue speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the service provided by this company, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future. The guys at Common Sense Movers were exactly what I was looking for. I will never use another moving company again in Austin. Moving is stressful and there’s a lot to worry about with trying to make everything fit in a truck, making sure your valuables don’t break, etc. It can be a nightmare, however, these guys are specialists and totally made the whole process stress-free. They took everything into account- the weight of all my items, how fragile some of them were, and how to best pack them for a long distance drive. They did all the work for me, physically and mentally. They’re strong, smart, and best of all, knowledgeable with their work. Do yourself a favor and book movers who you can actually trust to do a great job and respect your belongings.

Just book them. If I could give 10 stars, I would. My boyfriend and I recently renovated a home and needed to move in. Sam & team not only handled all of our belongings with the utmost care, they also respected our new space and went above and beyond what we expected. Example: We had one tv stand that barely fit in a door opening, in an abundance of caution to not damage the item or new door, Sam & team removed the door, moved the item in, and reinstalled our door perfectly (this also added no time to the job & the entire move was complete MUCH quicker than expected). Simply put, the care this team has in the job is tangible and the quality of service we experienced was unmatched. Will be using Common Sense again.

Sam and Justin provided the most seamless, professional and least stressful moving experience I’ve had to date (and I’ve moved quite a bit). I really appreciated the timely and thorough communication from Sam from start to finish. The friendliness and easygoing nature of both Sam and Justin made the overall process feel more positive and comfortable for me, especially as a single woman having to move by myself. They had to work in super dreadfully hot weather, but they never complained and they took extra care with my furniture and boxes. They were fast without sacrificing quality. Their rate is also the best in this city (no truck or other random fees other movers tack on). Seriously, thank you guys so much.

These guys were phenomenal. I am a disabled vet and did my last move on my own, I was practically dead by the end of it. The idea of moving to the third floor myself was unbearable, so I started looking around and discovered Sam and his team thanks to Reddit. They were responsive, super friendly, very efficient and they stand by their word which is so refreshing and awesome to see. These guys were so incredibly helpful and saved me a lot of pain, literally lol. If I ever move anytime soon these are the guys I’m turning to. Thanks!!

From start to finish, Sam and the Common Sense moving team were incredibly professional. His team showed up on time and prepared with everything they needed to complete the move. Once they started, they didn’t stop until the job was done. My move was completed within Sam’s original time estimate, and with no damage to the items moved or to the old / new house. Shout out to Sam & Co for a great job this past Saturday. The job was expected to take 4.5 hours, but we finished in 3.5 hours because they were fast, efficient, and most importantly they didn’t look to milk the clock. Everything went super smooth without issue - nothing was damaged, they arrived on time, and everyone was very nice and polite. Moving companies can be very hit or miss, but this one is definitely a hit! Highly recommended for moving here in Austin!

I had a large couch that I needed moved from my old residence to my new apartment on the 2nd floor. I was late meeting them at my old address due to some key issues with my new unit but they waited for me and were super understanding. These guys loaded it up into their truck and moved it up those stairs for me for a great price! Super affordable and extremely professional group of people. Sam and his crew helped me move my sister in Austin. Unbelievably affordable and so caring with the move itself. Everything was thought through, pro packers and (criminally affordable) so personable, every part of the move was communicated. Both movers made it looks effortless in the 112* weather. I'm a professional mover in NYC, I'm thankful these guys stick to Texas, or I'd be out of a job!

These guys were super careful with our equipment we were having them transport for us. We have poplar wood saunas that are dinged and scratched easily and everything arrived in perfect condition. I thought “why spend the money on movers I can do it myself?” No. Never again do I want to move my own stuff. I didn’t realize how much the stress cost me. Hire these guys. Do it.

Extremely efficient movers. The team managed to move my entire apartment in a handful of hours; I thought it would take the entire day. Boy was I impressed. The best part of the move was watching the team treat all of my belongings as if it belonged to them. I had an excellent moving experience with Sam and Tristan. They’re such nice guys and so efficient! I couldn’t believe how quickly the moved me in the July heat and were so careful with my stuff the entire time. Nothing broke or was damaged. I’ve used other movers in Austin that were just okay so this was extremely refreshing.
