"Unbelievable worst customer service! Nelda questioning the granted immigration visa subclass 186 issued by the Government as not enough proof of permanent residency!!! Clearly she does not understand the visas here in australia! We went on an uncessary waiting period just to prove we are permanent resident visa when all along Nelda had the evidence! What a very unproductive and worst bank visit! Since arriving here in australia, i have never experienced such a long tedious bank processing like this"

Vary rarely write reviews don’t usually bother, this however was appalling. Long time comm bank customer personal and business. Have always had a great relationship with local branch staff, most of which have moved on now by the looks. Dropped in briefly to look at paying out a loan and getting another small one for some toys which I have done before, many times. Sat down in the office with a gentleman who preceded to spend 10 minutes updating all of my details, which they had already done, go knows where the first lot went. I told him what I wished to do and he proceeded to ask me why I wouldn’t use my savings to purchase. I said because I prefer to have money in the bank as a back stop and I don’t like putting large amounts of cash into depreciating assets. He then went on to tell me that the money sitting in the bank was not earning much interest so I’d be better off using it for what I want Firstly this is none of his business Secondly it is irresponsible advice The conversation went on and by this time I was getting annoyed. We spoke about the process and disagreed on how it would take place I was then told that I was being confrontational and i don’t work for the bank so I wouldn’t know. He then terminated the meeting. For reference I went to the north Melbourne branch and had my query answered and sorted in 5 minutes exactly how I believed it would carry out. Arrogant misinformed staff who do not understand the barriers of a client relationship, I was speechless.
Wow, where do I start with Alan. I engaged his services for a home loan under the Victorian Homebuyers scheme and he was supportive, professional and reliable from start to finish. For a process that I anticipated to be fraught with stress and uncertainty, it couldn’t have gone more smoothly thanks to Alan. My first offer on the first house I was interested was accepted, and the real estate agent said it was largely due to Alan’s assurance and his personal recommendation on my behalf. He was incredibly knowledgeable on all the fine details so nothing was overlooked. Thanks so much Alan! I will be recommending all my family and friends see him for any home loan related pursuits.
Worst customer service ever. I have been so disappointed by Commonwealth for the 3rd time at Braybrook. long wait, employees are NOT listening to customers. As I got my bag robed, people used my cards. I canceled them and ask for new ones within the day. I had to make a transaction dispute but they refused because "it was my fault and I still had my cards" : They did not use the police report I gave them. They spent 45 minutes on the phone in front of me with some other people from CWB, struggling to explain the situation. USELESS !!!! My partner and I are going to change bank.

Just brought my mother-in-law and auntie-in-law to the Commonwealth bank. They are both in their 80’s and were made to stand in line outside the bank. They both struggle to walk and stand and both have walking sticks. I approached a young Asian lady about the issue who jumped down my throat when I asked about seating for them. She blamed central management about the issue. The way she spoke to me, who only asked (being 60 myself) disgusted me. Find someone with people skills at the entrance and not someone so rude
Went to the branch doesn’t solve problems. Wasting so much time. Banker are wasting time. It’s hard to on phone with banking. I went to the branch ask me to phone. Banker just be lazy serving one person for whole day. They just want get pay and keep pushing the job to others. They should make regulations for serving customers. We should get rewarded for complain. It helps improve customer service
First was told to wait with nobody else there, that she would come get me to wait 15mins to have to go see her again to be seen. She talked over me didn't let me finish, held me back 30 plus minutes till after the store closed on something that only took 10 minutes. To change completely at the end to say I'll get a review for her performance in a couple of weeks. Terrible treatment.
Highly no they time waster been waiting on the line with customers service for 1 hour couldn't talk to them visit the branch from 9:30 to now witch is more then 1and half hour for only $1000 transaction that shows on my net bank and have no idea what is it lost more then a 1k of my time and business highly no specialy for business very poor service
I just had the worst customer service today. The lady was rude and didn't allow me to apply for a simple overdraft. Implying that I would get rejected if my account has been overdrawn in the past year. Which is a joke as I do not have an overdraft and I have plenty of money in savings.
Worst customer service and rude staff. Came to open a bank account and got denied to have my correct names as showed on my Medicare. even showed the lady my other bank cards with my correct names. Asked me to bring the birth certificate. What a joke
There’s written “ Thank you for treating us with respect “ on the wall.. but the people who sits in office got zero respect for customers.. Thats it mate, make yours staffs better rather than hangin some quotes on the wall with frame..
Fantastic staff, Greg is a great asset to this branch. We were having issues with getting a loan with our broker and with a looking settlement date, Greg helped us secure a loan and kept us well informed throughout the entire process.
If you want slow service and have absolutely nothing to do with your life, go to this branch and you could kill over an hour waiting for service and for them to get things done
