Your banking machines are a joke. The bank teller refused to take my money for deposit because, I quote, “I will have to count that manually”. I told the teller that the machine is too temperamental and rejects my coins and notes and I expressed the importance of my deposit needing to be the same value I was depositing and not a couple of dollars short because of your machines. I am trying to make a business deposit and my deposit needs to reflect my takings on my POS system. Even after your bank manager tried to help me with the machine, low and behold, it didn’t except my deposit accurately. What is the point of having a bank teller if you refuse to bank someone’s money? Is that not literally their job? Do better.

I recently went through a process to get a pre approval for a home loan. Which I admit especially given covid was fast ( less then a fortnight), I was emailed my pre approval was done ( less then they said I would get but still was happy to be pre approved) the issue is after this they wouldn't reply to any emails or messages. They wouldn't send me a copy of my pre approval letter, so the pre approval feels useless. It's been approx three months now, pre approval would now need to be done again still no response. Customer service is a joke here
My parents are not with this bank but my sister is and they've been putting money into her account once a month for the last 15 years, only to be told today they don't do that anymore as my parents aren't with Commonwealth bank . But my sister is and it's going straight into her account. Very disappointed with this bank and duty of care to their customers as in my sister won't receive money anymore due to the laziness of upper management that come up with these ideas. Disappointed really disappointed.
I have been with commonwealth bank for over 5 years and the amount of issues I have had with them astronomically. I have put off changing due to having automated payments. I have tried to cancel my accounts online However I was told I would need to go in store. Once I found time to head into a store. I was told it was a month wait until I could be seen. This bank has found to be fraudulent, during a Royal Commission. I I have since opened an ING account and couldn’t be happier with their product.
Absolutely ridiculous that there was a 40 minute wait for something that took all of 5 mins. No separate queue for business customers who have better things to do than come back 40 mins later. Could I make an appointment so I don't have to wait? Sure, but you will be on hold longer than 40 minutes before you speak to someone to make the appointment. Can I complete my task online? NO. I'm grateful I'm not a CBA customer, I was just there to be a signatory on another business account.
Posting this on behalf of my mum Melani who came home yesterday from the bank with great relief after an incredible experience with Samera from CBA. She assisted mum with utmost care, great professionalism, processed mum’s concerns smoothly, she was extremely helpful, and explained things in simple terms. Came in to close a personal loan speaking to service guy at front gave reason why i was here then he turned to have a conversation with the bank manager about her son... i seen another person hoping he could help me but no i was told have to speak with guy at front to then he asked for my name to put me on the list so done that sitting in the waiting room alone now for 20mins... so 2hrs later i have closed the personal loan and happy to never do business with commonwealth bank!
Entire system is down, net bank, in branch, the lot! the branch didn't bother to let everyone queuing up this morning know that you couldn't get money out in branch either. Made an elderly couple wait for no reason. This has caused massive inconvenience, as I cant get any access to my money at all! and on the day I am successful on a rental. So now I am not able to pay rent and bond, or even get lunch! There should be compensation for this error for every commonwealth customer!
Horrible customer service. Went in to use the ATM which wouldn't accept the notes I was trying to deposit then interrogated by 'customer service' guy with no bank I.D how much money are you putting in etc etc as if it was my fault the ATM was faulty. He then tried to take my money to deposit as if I couldn't use an ATM. Rude, arrogant and condescending won't be back stick it where the sun doesn't shine Commonwealth Frankston.
I went there to sort a fees overcharging issue (Commonwealth mistake as told from the manager the time before) and the teller named Hayley was unbelievably disrespectful and insulting to me. I'm still deeply offended from the way she treated me and thanks to this behaviour I'm not banking with this company anymore. Not to mention that from now on I will encourage family and friends to stop dealing with Commonwealth Bank.
Had so good experiences with Rachael Lombardi in CBA Frankston Branch! Rachael she is so friendly and very professional and helpful. No matter what question I ask her, she will sit down and listen to my questions and explain it to me seriously! She always following my case and always reply my emails and messages very quickly! Rachael Lombardi is the best! 100% recommend! Thank you!
I am tired of people telling me they are happy to receive my call and then not having the immediate opportunity to talk to someone. Was the voice message recorded in an echo chamber. Perhaps they don’t want you to understand what they are trying to tell you. At 9.30 in the morning we are asked to leave a message and they will endeavour to get back by close of business .
This branch won't exchange notes for coins if you have an investment account but no card. I presented ID and they refused to do the exchange. Investment accounts don't come with a card because of the nature of the account but their staff including the manager and lead teller seemed to not understand this, as they continually queried me as to the whereabouts of my card.
Rachael Lombardi from the Frankston Office is absolutely amazing to deal with. She assisted a client with their finance and had approval within 24 Hours! With a short settlement and turn around time, she relieved so much stress for both myself and the client. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to obtain finance approval.
If I could give this particular branch a zero star rating I would. Consistent terrible customer service from every staff member you deal with never in my life have I experienced this from any other branch. Shame they closed down the Seaford branch. Will be closing accounts with commonwealth bank asap...
With reluctance 1 star for terrible telephone service on the direct line. Would have preferred no stars. Numerous attempts to establish contact, calls always unanswered and only response a recorded message. Corrective management action needed. Not like Commbank to be minimalist with customer service
I have recently done some banking through Samira at the Franston branch and I should say the service was outstanding. The branch itself has very friendly staff, who are very knowledgeable and lead by a very efficient Manager. I have all my banking with CBA and I can say I am very happy to do so.
I personally don't bank with them, but am now considering doing so. We attended today to sort accounts for a family member and I was very impressed with the professionalism, ease and thoroughness that Elliot and his managers displayed. Thank you, you made the process feel effortless
Beautiful setting although expertise of some staff very disappointing ! Martin , the first staff member I encountered , excelled at his job and I couldn't recommend him highly enough . Other staff members were quite brash and rude if not for Martin I would probably never go back .
After having trouble dealing with commbank over the phone, I walked in to branch and dealt with Samera. She made all my problems go away. Samera definitely knows customer service and appreciate the above and beyond attitude. Commbank is lucky to have you!! Thankyou …
Terrible customer service. No one knows what is going on and for 2 days never even picked up a phone. Have been trying to reach them for ages in regards to my account but nothing. Very disappointing again with commbank. Will be changing banks ASAP.
Didn't open store on time. You could see people in there and must of been having a morning meeting. If you say your going to open at 9:00am being a massage bank with a massive amount of customers world wide. Then simply open on time.
I have had an overall good experience in Commonwealth branches over a period of two years, apart from this one. The manager spoke to me in a very unnecessary patronising way! Don’t bother going to this branch for any information.

9-3:30.... What a complete joke... Every year it gets worse and their pay gets higher and higher.... Hmmm strange right!!! Put the bank hours back to 9-5 as it use to be 4 years ago!!!!

There are no Commonwealth ATMs accessible in the entire Frankston area on Anzac morning. I find this deplorable. I found Westpac,NAB,ANZ but no Commnwealth.
The whole process was smooth, took only a few minutes to see Tim without an appointment. Tim was professional and the experience was very pleasant.
