My mother who is 86 years of age has banked at this branch all her life. Of late there has been a constant turnover of new staff not familiar with their clientele. Today Friday 27th Jan 2023 she had the absolute worst customer service experience just trying to do her normal weekly banking with staff who were new again to this branch. She was asked for her driver's license (she has never had one and uses a 4 wheel frame to walk) so common sense should have prevailed. Then for other photo id of which she has a proof of age card and this was dismissed as not valid. They then asked for a utility bill (who carries this with them??) and finally when she was in tears did they allow her to withdraw some money. Where is consideration of the elderly and professional customer service these days. Very disappointed in this bank and how staff now treat their clientele. Rules may change but allowance by staff needs to given for clientele to adjust and not be made to feel of no consequence.
Originaly had rated this bank as a five. Unfortunately on three different occasions now I have noticed that one particular teller constantly advises older people imparticular that she has no coins, this is not a once off and I do not believe that. This is a bank of course they have coin change. Good ATM outside as well as additional ones inside. Very friendly welcoming staff help direct to specialist services making it a fast and a very efficient way of banking. U have watched the staff and they are egger to assist anybody with any quiry right then and there. The tellers do a wonderful job are always smiling and friendly as well as understanding, patient, Aged person and disability friendly. Truly a pleasure to do the banking as someone who cares for 2 people with minor disabilities and in thier 70's. It assists them to remain independent and in control while minimising thier Stress levels. Plenty of parking at the rear. Check signs. #LetsGuide
We were harassed by the teller. We went into branch to withdraw a large sum of money and were asked on more than 4 occassions during the transaction why we want to take our money out. We felt obliged to answer as the teller was delaying the transaction to find out this information, before handing over the cash. We were asked too many personal questions that is not the tellers business. Aren't the tellers there to serve or find out gossip? Second time we went to withdraw a smaller amount we were served by the same teller and was given a very cold shoulder with a very dirty look. What is this ladys problem? If you dont like your job, why are you working there? Today we were served by someone else with no enthusiasm. Wow, what a depressing bunch of staff. SAD! Too bad they closed the Hadfield branch. Nice staff, smooth and quick transactions, nicer environment.
There`s a hidden gem in this branch . His name`s Enver and he`s by far the best banker and home lending specialist I`ve had the pleasure of dealing with across 5 banks . The guy is an absolute legend . He genuinely cares about his customers and this in turn makes the process very painless and even enjoyable I`ve dealt with some home loan specialists who made the process feel worse than a dental appointment so I was quite happy to eventually run into Enver On a separate note , the turn around time was quite fast and these guys overdeliver in terms of how fast the process is (The entire process took less than 1 business day compared to a month of going back and forth with Westpac for instance) 5 stars is an understatement
My experience with Commonwealth Bank in closing a late family member's account was incredibly frustrating due to bureaucratic hurdles. Despite mentioning legal action, the bank insisted it would be futile. Only after our lawyer intervened did the bank finally take notice. It was astounding how, almost miraculously, they promptly provided the necessary forms and closed the account, granting us access to the remaining funds. This ordeal led us to switch our business to ANZ bank, encountering a stark contrast in service standards. We sincerely hope this feedback prompts the bank to reevaluate their practices and place a stronger emphasis on customer satisfaction.
Horrible Service , One of the worst branch I have came over to ... Went there to Withdraw 10k in Cash to buy a car ... staff said “ I would have to close the branch if I give you this sort if money “ literally these Words ! When I said what is the max you could do she said 4k , I mean am I even at a brach or an ATM .. simple ! If you are someone who do not live on penies and need large amount at times .. do not go to them .. they are worst !
Sensational experience from George Barkho at the Glenroy branch, very customer focused, friendly professional and knowledgeable in what his doing . Couldn’t be happier and will definitely be back to see him again, highly recommend anyone who needs assistance with anything to see him. Banking here since last 6 years, The lady particularly standing outside needs to be more professional in assigning the problem of customer to the professionals.. So much in hurry to say we cant be of any help. sorry about that.! you better find other jobs where you dont need to deal with people. Ridiculous experience.
I have been trying to call Glenroy com bank since 9.30am it is now 4.15pm. I have left 4 messages and still no one has had the time to respond let alone answer calls. Service is a disgrace. Banks are not busy like they used to be so no excuse.

Horrible customer service there, waited there around 40 minutes to get served, after that they refused to help me out as their system was down or something else. Not recommend anyone to go there.

the staffs are friendly and helpfull. located nearby station and has parking area. so u no need to worry about ur care. there are some seat for waiting as well as atm for fast draw.
Rude staffs, don’t value time and don’t listen to customers. Half of staffs just keep standing and won’t do anything to sort customers problem even though there is long queue.
