Bad customer service!! I went to deposits my money in the machine and that machine was broken. In the end the machine count wrong amount. I spoke with the staff (Chinese one with the glasses) she was sooooo rude! She said they can’t do anything with my case and I have to sign the paper to accept that amount (it was missing $500). Seriously??!!!! Then I call my partner to come yo help me. While I was waiting for my partner the manager came to speak with me. I shared with him what happened. Then he told me can you move out of the way because he wants ti service another customer. Even my partner could hear it. I just want to ask, am I not your customer After the manager checked and found my money was in the machine but they counted wrong amount he told me it’s gonna take 1-3 business days to return to my account. At that time my partner was there and he said this is unacceptable because not even client’s fault. But why we have to wait for our money?? And they didn’t do anything to help clients. I feel so bad and disrespectful from the Chinese staff and also manager. I don’t want 5 stars service from them but just a minimum of customer service. After that me and my partner decided to close our bank account with commonwealth bank because we just don’t want to support the business that never cared about customers satisfaction.

Didn't ask for any help, lady stand really close to me, felt someone was watching me turned around been advised to go to the counter someone there will help me after putting coins in the counting machine. Told the lady I know what to do. The lady did not respond or move still standing right behind me, while I was packing up and looking for my bank card. Felt like she was keeping an eye on me, because I could reach in and take coins out of the machine! Another time tried to ask the front desk for some account problems. The lady had to ask for another lady to know what to do. Then it felt like grandma trying to teach me how to make a sweater, no wonder the lines are so long all the time. Feel bad saying this but it seems only the" younger looking staffs" knows how to use the computer or get the job done fast enough and get it right... Alwayz has been trying to avoid going to the south melbourne branch, only go when I must. It's so sad someone needs to find "older" staff some non tech job.

Just had a very bad experience when visiting the bank in-store to get some assistance. The person seemed to be least interested in tackling the situation. She advised me to wait in the "transactions" queue for my query (for checking the status on already ordered cheque book) which was irrelevant . After that, the guy on the other side of the desk advised me to go back to the same lady to help me out. The lady then made and eye contact and made a very annoying face at me refused to help me. after which the bank manager intervened and tried to help me with the issue. Seemed like racism to me because she was keen on helping others but me. Really not happy with the service at this branch. Will not be going again to the SOUTH MELB branch

Went in to deposited money, used the coin machine. Had $270 in coins and $980 in notes. Noticed when I got home only $980 was deposited into my account. Called and explained what's happened, was advised someone would call me back after a few hours I called them back, called back several times with no answer and left messages. Partner called in as it is a shared account and I was getting frustrated, it's finally sorted but slack service.

Went to CBA with two issues. First one resolved but a simple request for term deposit interest rates could not be dealt with because “software was faulty”. Update: I telephoned twice and requested an appointment through the answering machine which assured me that I would receive a return call before close of business. No return call was received! Such poor customer service.

I used to be a Commbank customer but left in 2015 due to Commbank's fossil fuel exposure. I understand that they can't withdraw all their investments at once but the risk of stranded assets and their lack of climate leadership gave me no choice. The staff were always lovely when I went in, just a shame the organisation had larger issues so I had to leave.

Billy is excellent with his customers. His empathy and compassion yet the understanding provided to his clients needs is incredible and a delight to see. He is truly an asset to CBA. The service overall is excellent in this branch. I find all the staff helpful and willingness to assist clients is great. Thanks guys I always enjoy coming into this branch.

Terrible service ATMs are always old and broken barely work and staff just call security if you dare to complain. Terrible service. Gave me a security code for internet banking said it would last 28 days then it locked me out after 8 hours after it was closed for the day and too late to go back in.

Most "airhead" customer service i received by a teller at the counter. After i had confirmed the account 3 times with her. Young lady. I also witness one of the staff blasting a customer who was under a bit of alcohol influences for jamming the teller machine with his card. Wow.
