I use and rely on the deposit ATM at this branch regularly for business and personal finances. The ATM has retained my bank card twice, shut down and retained my deposit cash once and retained my partners card once in the space of 8 months. I fully understand that errors occur with technology but with this happening to us so often, I am sure we are not the only customers effected by this. In regards to the rectification of each issue, bank cards took a week to arrive which is standard. However, the staff were very unapologetic and offered no further investigation into the faulty machine or assistance to re arrange direct debits, retrieve a new card aside from "get the app". I was assured by the after hours support team that my card would be inside the machine and I could collect it the next day however, the card was not there and I was told "maybe someone else took it and hopefully destroyed it".. how is that an acceptable outcome? No offer to check if the card had been used or anything. In regards to the refund of my deposit, it took over the 28 days to arrive to my account and I received no notification or contact advising it had been returned (as per my specific request to the staff member on the case) and then the dollar amount of my deposit that was retained by the machine was unable to be confirmed and it was dependant on how much other customers were short? So unacceptable and unprofessional. Come on guys, you are a bank! You are in control of peoples livelihood and when your staff are not thorough and your machines are faulty it causes stress and chaos for your customers. I bank with 3 other banks and I have never had any issues remotely as frustrating as this especially in this short period of time. I have also held my Commonwealth account for over 15 years and have only had these issues at the Doncaster branch deposit ATM - I feel like that is reason enough to look into what is causing your business disservice.
The service is quite disappointing. Typically, I exchange money for my small business, but I noticed that the ATM only accepts business cards for this purpose. Today, I don't have my business card with me, and my personal CBA card doesn't allow me to use the ATM for change. As a result, I have to wait in a long queue to see a teller, which is an unnecessary inconvenience. I have a CBA personal card, and I'm a CBA customer, so it's frustrating that I can't use the ATM with a cash dispenser. Even if there was limited access to the ATM, it would be helpful for now, but unfortunately, it's completely blocked for me. I hope they reconsider this arrangement, as it would make things more convenient for customers and reduce the workload on bank tellers.
If I could give -5 stars I would... Worst branch I have ever stepped foot into. The guy at the door was morbid and rude, it was like walking into a morgue. Two women at the counter one serving a customer. I was not even acknowledged by the one doing nothing and she was just pretending she was doing something. I stood there for a couple of minutes then just walked off.. The guy said that was quick..I said well there is no customer service and I am going to my other bank. A word of advice if you dont like your job then quit and let someone else have it.
one star for CBA Doncaster .. the website says branch open until 2pm on a Saturday - so i went there to get a bank cheque and there are NO tellers working on a saturday ... being self employed i'm working 7 days a week so time is valuable in december . Our local branch just closed indefinately, blackburn branch shut 2 weeks ago for a day so i waited in line for 45 mins at the box hill branch where 3 tellers were working and 3 managers at the front welcoming customers .... CBA recently closed the youth app .... all round appalling CBA bank
My experience at CommBank Doncaster was very good. When we came in on Saturday morning, we could see that it was quite busy. That being said, the appointment we had booked with Karen was on time (we had arrived slightly late). She was professional and helped us consider our options. It's hard to see the CommBank from the outside (Williamsons Rd) so I recorded a short video showing where it is (it's inside the shopping centre, while Westpac is on the outside).
I went to CommBank Westfield Doncaster last month, and my experience was excellent. Customer Banking Specialist Ms. Katherine Kwong helped me throughout the whole process smoothly and efficiently. I’m very impressed by her professional performance. Also she’s really patient, friendly and helpful. I’m so lucky to meet her. Thank you very much Katherine! Good work and keep it up!

Oh, my gosh, their staff really helpful! I tried several times to get there before they close, because when I finish my work, it is very hard to catch there. Today I catch here just 5 minutes before they close. Ms Jess let me in and teach me step by step to how to use their app to deal with the problem which was bothering me for several months! I really appreciate you Jess!
service is so slow! i got told to wait for two hours, which i did, then i came back and waited for another hour! i kept getting told it would be another 5 minutes, and ended up waiting for another hour. whatever system they are implementing to reduce waiting time is certainly not working. do not come to this commonwealth bank, unless if you want to waste your own time!
Great people and service but due to Commonwealth Bank closing their local branch near me I had to travel to Doncaster. Subsequently, the wait time was close to 60 minutes which I believe is a result of commonwealth bank closing a number of their other branches. Anyway, make sure you leave a lot of time when visiting this commonwealth bank branch.
We were assisted by the CommBank rep, Jasmine who helped with opening a joint account, closing an account and increasing credit limit all within 40 minutes. She was very professional and assisted with all our queries and requests very promptly. Excellent communication and service by Jasmine all the while training another employee.
Probably the worst CBA branch I have been to. For a very small issue on my CBA credit card, I was left waiting for half an hour and no staff cared and said anything to me, when I spoke one of their staff, I was told I had to wait for another 20 minutes. Will not go to that Doncaster CBA branch again.
The Worst experience in my whole life. The lady had no idea about the issue. Combank tel customer service was on hold for more than 2 hours with no response. Kind of playing with rules to make interest while I had sufficient amount in the account. Will close my account asap.

Nick was the most genuine person I’ve dealt with. Didn’t feel like I was speaking to a robot or someone forced to smile. Had a great conversation and he was really helpful and explained things well. Need more staff like him.

Robert Guo is incredible, if you need a home loan go see him! It took less than 2 hours for full approval and at a great rate couldn’t recommend anyone more! He is smart, open minded and there to help.
Every other staff is nice apart from Brock, was being very pushy and rushed. Telling us to hurriedly leave for the next set of customers in line when we tried asking a question. Bogus Brock.
