In December of 2022 I began to have gas & chest pain and went to the ER 2 times. My PCP referred me to a Gastro in the network. The appointment was a month out. I was in so much pain I thought something might have been wrong. I asked if I had any options to get in earlier and was told if I could find someone she would send the referral. I found Dr. Anil Yakhmi at Fishers Digestive Care and she sent the referral. I kept the original referral To Eldred MacDonell because I read Dr. Yakhmi's reviews and they were bad. Dr. Yakhmi was the worst Dr. I've ever been to in my life. He rushed through my appointment and barely listened to anything I was saying. I noticed him rushing out of the office at the same time I was leaving like he was leaving and just rushed through my appointment. He has a Tesla, I saw him speed out of the parking lot. I wasn't comfortable with him and cancelled the Endoscopy that I had to ask him to do because he was so dismissive of my issue. I had the original appointment with Eldred Macdonell Jr booked and they called today to say he cancelled it because I already saw Dr. Yakhmi. They said this was Community North's policy. I was also told MacDonell wouldn't approve a transfer of care because there was nothing more he could do. I pleaded with 2 people at Dr. Macdonell's office and explained that Dr. Yakhmi's assessment wasn't accurate because he didn't listen. I was read what Dr. Yakhmi wrote in his notes and confirmed it was not accurate, yet my whole appointment being cancelled was based on the inaccurate notes. They told me if I wanted to go to someone other than Dr. Yakhmi I would have to go outside of the Community Health Network. I realized the office didn't want to treat me, because that's what I was told. I can't believe Dr. Yakhmi is allowed to practice in the network and I can't believe that in this situation I would be turned away as if I am not a patient experiencing health concerns unless I go back to a doctor that doesn't seem trustworthy. If you want to advocate for your health and be comfortable with the Doctors you see, I don't recommend this network. My father has had an ileostomy for 30 years because a doctor in this network was rushing and missed it. I normally try and post positive reviews but this was just so appalling I had to post. I wrote their Patient Experience team also.

I honestly can not say I have ever been more disgusted in a hospital than I am with Community North's ER experience I had last night. I had been in this ER previously so I do not know what provoked me to return other than it was closest to my location at the time. Each time I have left this ER has always been without being seen or going to another hospital seeking compassion and professionalism in staff. I took my adult daughter who was seeking antibiotic for a severe tooth infection that she needed to address immediately after leaving the Medcheck nearby. We walked into a full lobby. One poor man was puking so violently in the lobby with about 30 other people in the waiting room and not one single staff member tried to give this man a room for privacy being so ill and vomiting into a pan that he was given that his father who was at least 70's in age had to seek out a restroom to empty the pan out and into. Then I witnessed a man go to the front and ask about his sister and what room she might be in along with how she was doing. The nurse/staff behind the window, blond petite, 20's maybe 30's absolutely in front of all the other staff and lobby patients cut him down as to she does not know anything abut his sister and on and on. She persisted in interrupting this man as he tried to speak. This was disgusting to watch and very upsetting. I went up to the service desk and told the lady that signed us in that we are leaving for a better hospital and we did. Disgusting place...do not go here. Please seek a hospital that treats people well, with respect and compassion instead of the dirt on the bottom of your shoes that you walked in with. Btw this happened on 4/12/2021 at 7:15pm. I'm sure surveillance can show the disgusting behavior of it's staff by easily looking into it by the chief of staff. Get a handle on this ER and do better by our health care!

I went in with a severe headache...explained that my pain was on 12...needless to say ER is a joke! I was given a room quickly but when the doctor came in he watered down my pain. He made me feel like I was exaggerating about the pain I was in. I even expressed to the Doctor on duty that I felt dehydrated...he offered me cups of water. After waiting almost 45mins in pain I pushed the red button asking how long am I going to have to suffer??? After the Doctor came in and did his assessment his staff pretty much ignored me. The nurse that started with me disappeared and they sent in a new nurse that did an excellent job. The nurse that cared for me really turned my whole situation around and I'm grateful to her for that. The Doctor and 1st nurse shame on you because I was ill, honestly I should've been kept overnight according to my primary doctor that I saw the next day that ordered bloodwork, cat scan because they care at Riverview Health Westfield. Seen 3/24/2021 Dr. Sagar Dipak Patel, MD needs to be more personable and sympathize with patients because he made me feel worse when all I wanted was help. FYI my primary found chronic things wrong in my bloodwork yet Community North didn't think it was necessary to run any test. All my pain returned the very next morning after being discharged from Community North. I will not be back to Community North for my health care needs. For the record the insurance guy that came in and took my information had better customer service,he offered me a warm blanket and I appreciate him for that. Learn to treat sick people with dignity. It doesn't look good to be sick and walk to the restroom to give a urine sample and see 3 or more staff members sitting at the desk laughing and giggling while sick patients are needing their attention. ER is no play thing and staff working in ER should take that serious.

Doesn’t even deserve a star. Friday 9/15/23 I came in for a transjugular liver biopsy. I arrived at 7:30a as instructed, the first nurse that spoke to my boyfriend and I told us they would go through either my back or my stomach depending on the position of my liver, (mentioned to us he was us all night with his son) , he didn’t seem like he wanted to go through my medication list. the second nurse that came in told us they would be going through my neck , I told the nurse what the previous nurse told us and that I wasn’t sure if I wasn’t to proceed at this hospital because of what just happened but she’s reassured me that “I’m in great hands”. The procedure was scheduled to start at 9a, due to the Dr running late it didn’t start until 11am. During my procedure I was given fentanyl , I was told by the nurse and by the RN that I would be in a “twilight” “I wouldn’t remember anything” she even told me to take a nap. During my procedure I felt every single thing. I told the RN that I think there’s something wrong with my iv because it was burning and hurting, I asked several times to stop, I didn’t want to do this. (this was done through my neck ) I felt EVERYTHING go in and out of my neck down through my stomach, I was crying the entire time. No one stopped to check my iv. Or to check on me. The RN just kept giving me more fentanyl (even though my iv blew ) , I kept moving my arm in hopes someone would get the hint , I was saying this hurts and they just continued with the procedure. It was the most excruciating pain I’ve ever experienced in my life. This is unacceptable!!!!

My elderly father was brought to the Emergency department via ambulance after a fall, as he could not sit up or stand. Rib, shoulder, and chest xrays were done, which did not diagnose the problem. The emergency physician was rude and dismissive and did not do further diagnostic imaging on my father's spine. He stated that he did not meet criterion for hospital admission, even though it was obvious he could not get out of bed independently or care for himself. He was sent home to my sister's home via ambulance on a stretcher, as he was unable to walk. We were persistent in getting him to the Interventional Radiology team after dismissal, as we were certain there was a problem that was undiagnosed. This team was exceptional and attentive. They ordered an MRI which showed thoracic 9 and lumbar 2 compression fractures, which were the cause of his pain and immobility. He was then scheduled for kyphoplasty procedures to repair both vertebrae. The span of time that my 93 year old father suffered before having his spine repaired was 3 weeks. Most of this time involved bedrest because of his pain. We had to beg his primary care physician for adequate pain medication, as the Emergency physician would give him nothing stronger than Naprosyn. Although we were very pleased with the Interventional Radiology physician and team, we will never return to Community North Emergency department, if we are able to help it. It was an awful experience, and the emergency team demonstrated poor diagnostic ability and no empathy whatsoever.

If you have an emergency or if you need medical assistance, I'd recommend going literally anywhere else. This place won't help you and you'll still be stuck with a bill in the thousands of dollars. Last week, I went to the ER in the most pain of my life. The receptionist was completely rude, then the doctors and nurses acted like I was just looking for pain pills. Unfortunately, there's some truth there because I had a 3 millimeter kidney stone blocking my bladder and was in so much pain I couldn't see straight (which I didn't know at the time, I just thought I was dying). Then the doctor said nothing was wrong with me and dismissed me after doing nothing at all to help me. They said someone would call me in the next three days, but no one did. I scheduled a specialist on my own, and they saw the kidney stone immediately. I get that a kidney stone is easier to find by a specialist, but this isn't exactly an uncommon problem and mine was literally in one of the most common places, and the specialist was literally looking at the scan taken at the hospital so she didn't have any information different from the ER. My suspicion is that both the radiologist and the doctor who saw my results didn't even look at them at all, because when I saw the scan the kidney stone was obviously visible. The alternative is that they're just incompetent. 0/10, facility will fail to catch even common problems, do nothing to help you, and then bill you ridiculous amounts of money for all the nothing they've provided for you.

This is an odd review- but should still matter. Whenever I have an appt with Drs or hospital I get an obscene amount of phone calls, text and emails confirming appointments and wanting me to pre check in. There are so many I had to ask that they stop- more than once. But it continued, 2 or 3 calls and text a day at least 2 weeks before appts. Finally I had to block their number- only to have several calls from other numbers… why do I need to “check in” 2 weeks before appt??? And why do I need to check in every day…??? Well this last appt I had took the harassment a step further. I had a mammogram only to find out they didnt get good images and wanted me to come back- i rescheduled another appt. Again with the harassing phone calls, text and emails…I also received snail mail. My appt was on Wed- I received mail on Monday and Tues wanting to confirm appt and on wed (day of appt) I received mail saying I had to go to post office to pick up certified mail…. Odd. I went to post office and stood in line for half an hour just to find out it was an email saying my original mammo needed more pics and I needed to schedule a second appt- THE DAY I ALREADY WENT FOR 2ND MAMMO!!!! Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also the 2nd mammo was not needed -although I got an apology for an unnecessary 2 appt- after insurance it still cost me $300! They need to get it together with the robo calls, text emails and ridiculous certified useless pieces of mail!!!!!

My mom has been here from a car accident for 5 hours instead of putting us in a room they put us in the hall, then registration person came and she was very rude so I asked for another registration person to help us and asked the nurse for her name and supervisor. The nurse tried to get her name and she refused and said I will go tell her myself and f@#k her talking about me. Supervisor never came to see me then as they were treating my mom in the hallway with no privacy another RN nurse name Robin accused me of video taping another patient and called hospital security, keep in mind we are still in hallway 2-3 hours later. Other patients that came after us was being put in the rooms. My mom who is 80 had a broken knee from the car accident. I finally asked the nurse why we were not getting a room she said technically the hall is your room and that the hospital system thinks that so when the rooms become available it went to the next patient. I said that is not right so she grabbed the next discharge room before they gave it to another patient that came in after her. I plan to file a complaint against the registration girl and the RN nurse Robin. This was the most horrible experience I've ever seen in a hospital. I would like to add the other nurses, x-ray technician, hospital security and the doctor were very professional and well mannered.

Worst ER visit ever. My son was brought in for a psych eval for suicidal thoughts. They would not let me see him for an hour. In that time they did x-rays and a doc saw him but did not come and give me any information about his current issue. They left my suicidal son in a dark room with a computer (a big issue because he could have strangled himself with the cords) and was not in the line if site of snt staff members . The RN was very rude (I am an ER nurse and would have never treated a patient or family member the way I was treated). They misread the x-ray ( my son's arm was broken even though I was told nothing was wrong) my son was in a cast for 6 weeks. I have contacted patient experience about this multiple times and told me that there is nothing they can do. We waited in the ED fir 18hours before we saw anybody from psych. They refused to give my son a blanket or s pillow. When I was finally allowed back the nurses were rude and aggressive towards me and my son. I want to make it clear, in a situation with a suicidal person it is never ok to leave them out of site on a dark room with a way to hang themselves. It's just bad nursing and bad policy. My son could have died that day and nobody would have known until they allowed me back. WORST VRISIT EVER. Nadter his first visit with the doc we never saw him again.

I went with my husband the day of his mother's surgery. We arrived at 10 a.m.. They were awesome in getting her checked in since there was a mix-up on the scheduled time of her surgery. Her surgery was over at 3. We saw a nurse come from the ICU unit come down to the lockers to retrieve her belongings. She was talking on her speaker phone. She had been instructed to come tell us that we could go back to see her. But, I guess she was so busy yaking on her phone that it must have slipped her busy mind. When we did finally make it to her room it was like quarter til 6. The nurse in her room attending her said she instructed the other nurse to come tell us. She also stated that she originally worked nights and had only been on days a few weeks. Her comment was..."I sometimes just forget about the families." I was like...REALLY?? We left her room at 20 after 6 went to get the valet parking person but they leave at 6 so be aware of that because we were never told what time they leave. We had to ask the person sitting at the information desk that we needed to get our car keys. He was nice in finding them for us. Communication is really a big .

My brother was admitted to the ORTHO-NEURO SPINE SERVICE CENTER FOR JOINT HEALTH on 11/15/22. His pain was EXCRUCIATING as he laid on his back for FOUR DAYS. Could not eat. Could not sleep. Back spasms galore. The doctors just could not pinpoint not only his severe back pain but also why his skin was so extremely sensitive to touch. ANY movement of the bed, sheets, ANYTHING... he'd YELL, MOAN, even SCREAM. Finally, Nurse JAMIE noticed a small rash on his lower bottom cheek. Could it be SHINGLES? The doctors - not like many who are too educated to take a nurse's suggestion - tested for shingles. BINGO!!! Once the antibiotics for shingles was given, he began improving within a few hours. Far too often, we "forget" about those suffering in hospitals everywhere and those who are working day and night to help them. My brother and I will NEVER FORGET the staff at COMMUNITY NORTH for the compassionate and consistent care they provided him. THANK YOU, COMMUNITY NORTH - DR. VOLZ, JAMIE, et al - for not just doing what you do but for doing it SO VERY WELL - EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Worst hospital, do not take your child here!!! We sat in the ER for 3 hrs for 3 different X-rays when the X-ray nurse even states to me the parent why are they x-raying my child’s legs when he clearly had a shoulder or arm injury from his fall. After the second x-ray they “had to be sure” and take another to bill the insurance even more. It doesn’t take 3 tries for a x-ray picture. I was scared some thing went wrong and my son wasn’t moving his arm much. Within the waiting time he started to move his arm. This is senseless as my son has autism and my 1 year old daughter was with me in the ER as well. This hospital only wants your money not to help you or your children. Go to Riley’s children Hospital instead. There nurses and Drs do not know what they are doing or care to. Highly upset to sit in the ER for hours just for pictures. It was about an hour a picture btw. Waste of time and money! I included the name MD Jennifer Mariko Izumi Divine as she would be responsible for the inconsiderable wait. If you have the choice choose another Hospital.

I was a patient for just 2 and a half days due to having surgery, Patients' first, lol! Our goal is to ALWAYS provide excellent care, yeah right! I had the post painful and agonizing week-end of my life. I asked my doctor and the surgical nurse to please keep up with my medication regimen. I trusted these people to do their jobs to the fullest of their ability without being treated and talked down to like I'm a child. On Fri the nursing staff were totally disrespectful and bosey and rude. I was treated like I bothered them too much, but It's ok to hear them all joking around, telling their stories in the hall. Laughing loudly, disturbing my nights trying to sleep. I suffer from an Over-Active Bladder, restricted from going by myself having to wait too long to get help was totally uncalled for! Couldn't get comfortable and no one here cared. In constant pain, the Doctor changed and forgot some of my meds too. I am very disappointed!! This is just a taste of what I experienced....

As much as I love this hospital and all of its amazing doctors and care specialist! There police are SCARY, especially if you are in the ER, and next to someone getting arrested or going to the psychiatric ward and your listening to a white man cussing, and threatening all staff for over an hour. I went to use the bathroom while being taken care of and politely asked officer T.NELSON was anything he could do another officer C. BOLLINGER to “handle her” mind you im black and about 5’7. Officer C. BOLLINGER then came over got in my face proceeded to threaten me over and over how I was going to be arrested and charged with DISORDERLY CONDUCT! He let the man do and say profane things to me and the staff for over an hour and they treated him with grace & kindness I’m guessing because he was white like them! I was threatened repeatedly and traumatized over the whole event and discharged myself early.

I adore every experience within the community health network! Our most recent visit my 10yr old son had to have an appendectomy. Every step of the way from initial Dr. appointment, to the imaging center, and finally the hospital was nothing but positive! Every single person was so kind and patient (and informative)! The nurses, doctors, staff..just incredibly pleasant through the whole process. This was our first time in the children’s health area and the rooms are spacious and very clean. The nurses and doctors have been so awesome to myself and my son. I don’t think I could dream up a better experience honestly! Our surgeon was incredible too. He took the time to answer my sons questions and really put him at ease about the operation. He even gave us some pictures of his appendix! (My son is so inquisitive and thought it was the coolest thing ever) Thank you for everything Community Health!!

We had a family emergency that resulted in us having to rush our teen age daughter to the Community North Emergency Room at about midnight on a Friday night for a perforated peptic ulcer, which can be life threatening if not handled immediately. We were extremely impressed with how quickly and efficiently they handled everything. Between midnight and 5am on a Friday Night/Saturday morning, our daughter had excellent care by a team of medical professionals that happened at lightning speed. Multiple phone calls were being made between doctors and surgeons (at 4:15 in the morning!!!), and our daughter ended up being sent by ambulance to another facility where she had emergency surgery at 8:30am, and she is now perfectly fine and heading home today. We were amazed at the professionalism, expertise and calm efficiency of the doctors and staff. They are a well oiled machine.

This is one of the worse hospitals I’ve ever been to. After some time my wife was fully dilated and the nurse said we are ready to push but need to wait for the doctor. We waited 2 hours for the doctor while my wife was in miserable pain but no one was willing to do anything untill we waited 2 hours for the doctor.. two hours.. Dr. Pierce came in and didn’t seem to care she was late and was on the phone half of the time. Luckily we had the baby with no complications. Service here was just as disappointing, we had to stay here for 3 days in the maternity suite and there was no care for cleanliness, blood on the bathroom floor and the trash cans all full, so much dirt all over the ground. Seemed like room hasn’t been cleaned in weeks and it wasn’t cleaned after we requested it day 1… Day 3 still nothing done.

The hospital service itself was very reasonable and the staff seemed good. I've had immense frustration dealing with billing. Without details, I have 2 bills for $2,300. I applied for financial assistance/reduction over 2 months ago. I was told if we applied for assistance on one bill, both bills would be paused until the assistance application was answered. Today I received an email threatening the larger bill going to collections and when I called in explaining what I was instructed, I was told I needed to pay now anyways with no idea of the final bill. I need to know the final bill amount to also apply for a work available financial assistance. The billing agent provided no help or suggestions outside of just start paying now. Please fix your billing system if your financial help won't help.

I was very disappointed in Community North precautions in handling the Covid 19 on July 16.2020. First, no temps were taken upon entry of the hospital. My appointment was on the 4th floor, the waiting room was packed. You could not socially distance easily. I complained to my Dr and a nurse and they were surprised that so many were scheduled as well. When it was time to check out, only one person was at the check-out area, I had to wait in line with nurses, patients, crossing by constantly. I recently had an MRI at Saxony which I can’t compliment enough. I love my OBGYN but am considering switching to an IU Dr because Community North’s management of the hospital. I don’t know who made the decision not to check temps upon entry, to over schedule and under staff, but they need to reconsider.

Came in to the emergency room late one night for immediate care. The doctors, nurses, and hospital staff have all provided excellent service and care, and have shown nothing but the utmost quality, compassion, and professionalism. Dr. Rogers, MD was very thorough in his explanation of procedures and did an excellent job performing surgery. The room and facility is very modern and clean. The hospital room was very cozy for myself and my family, considering the circumstances. The nurses, techs, and care staff all did an excellent job proving constant care and comfort. I was not big on the food, but can say that breakfast is definitely the tastiest meal they serve. Overall I got a really good vibe from the staff and felt that the staff worked very well together in providing care.

I came here because I had many symptoms and questions about my health. They got me into a room in 5 minutes on a Saturday. From there I got to meet the nurse/ doctor 5 minutes after. They listen to everything I had to say and was concerned about. Answered all my questions and got me started with blood work and swabs right away. All the staff was nice and friendly but the 5 stars is specifically for MELISSA the Nurse! I’m a hard stick for IV’s and always get stuck multiple times and dread getting it done. However, Melissa did it in 1 go and 1 try. No fishing in my veins and nothing. I was so shocked that I couldn’t help but thank you her so much. I’ve never had a good experience in an ER room until today. Thank you Melissa and the staff at this hospital!

Been in and out of hospitals most of my life and decided to go out of my way to give Community North a chance after recently seeing some terrible reviews for the one I usually go to.. Definitely worth the distance and giving them a chance. The staff of nurses and doctors here are the most caring I have experienced in a long time. They didn't treat me differently due to my condition being less life-threatening like I have experienced in other hospitals. I've had some horror stories about waiting to be admitted for hours at other hospitals. They got me checked in very quickly, I'd say within 5-10 minutes. I will definitely choose community north in the future for any emergency medical needs, even though it is out of my way.

  • Brittany Thompson

I could not have asked for a better team that what I got for my twins who had to have surgery here 3 months apart. I will forever be grateful for the great care they received, the kindness they showed to toddlers who were scared out of their minds after waking up, and just the all around respect they showed to not only my husband, my mom (who came with me when my first son had to have his surgery), and me, but to my toddler boys. I am so thankful that we no longer have to go back to this place, but I am also thankful for everything they did for our boys. I would never choose another hospital over Community. This place goes beyond what is expected of them and it makes a nervous mother just a little more at ease.

  • Phyllis Bolton

Came in an ambulance, thought I was having a heart attack, I did not have a heart attack but they did not want to release me with out a stress test. I was in the room and a nurse came in and started unhooking every thing and said you're going to the hall way someone else needs the room. No, I am sorry, no do you mind, just you're moving to the hallway. I sat in the hallway in a chair for 3 hours, in a hospital gown. No one asked did I need anything, was I doing okay, nothing. I don't ever go to the ER, first time I have ever been in an ambulance. I will never forget how embarrassed and ashamed they made me feel. I wrote the patient advocate, not a single response. Patient advocate...... please.

They know how to get around your insurance to leave you thousands of dollars in debt. Then when you apply for any sort of financial assistance, they do next to nothing to help you. They might even say you never turned in documentation you did turn in so they have an excuse to reject you. That's what happened to me. Apparently as long as they get their money for delivering your baby (and charge a very high rate for that!), they don't care if you are unable to feed said baby afterwards. Baby doesn't eat, not their problem; they just care that they get paid for delivering that baby. Horrible hospital. Never intend to go there again and will tell others to do the same. Go to a St. Vincent instead.

Each doctor has their own opinion about medications. And. if a doctor feels that narcotics are not the answer. Then They should not prescribe their patients who are narcotic users suboxone witch is a narcotic and then treat him like a piece of trash because they are taking other narcotic medications that is so contradicting! .it's called a fake dumb a**B****, who cannot be a nurse practioner anymore because she got cought perscribing herself narcotis. while she was in college. Wow I highly do not recommend anybody going to Fairbanks for recovery addiction. They will try and keep you in jail and in the rehab. They don't help they teach you by trash.

Great hospital in all areas save for the emergency room. Staff is kind and the facilities are kept nice and clean. However, it felt as if things were missed or glossed over during treatment. Doctors ordered a CT scan for the person I brought in. We were told results would take 40-60 minutes. 5 minutes later, the doctor came in and informed them that they saw nothing on the scan, recommended they see their G.I. doctor and that they would be discharged. This person was in severe pain, and had been vomiting blood. I can handle the wait times, but that just seemed off. I wish our experience had been better.

I absolutely love the care provided my this hospital. They have many resources for prenatal care. I see the team of midwives and nurses in the midwifery. Upon my initial appointment my mental health was taken very serious and was recommended to see a therapist. I have never experienced such an amazing team of providers and have been going to therapy for 8 months now and have worked through so many aspects of my life while also feeling I have the most professional prenatal care. I recommend any newly pregnant woman to see the team of midwives for their pregnancy journey.

Expect to be treated like human garbage and receive an astronomical bill. Expect incompetence and bureaucracy at every turn. Do not expect to be cared about enough to be worthy to have your chart read before you're given a dangerous drug that interacts with another dangerous drug they gave you. If you're allergic to a drug, expect to be given that drug. Expect your visitors to be treated like criminals. But hey the Community "Health" cancer centers get bigger and and more grandiose each year because they're so good at curing cancer (not).

First, I'm about as qualified to give overall hospital ratings as I am to perform open-heart surgery (ie, not at all); so don't take my ⭐ rating seriously. All I'll say here is that the staff at the Gallery main desk were polite and helpful when I stopped by on Christmas Day. Questions asked to operators on the telephone number were also answered quickly and efficiently. The remainder of my post is just a tiny photo-guide, that might help in knowing what to expect once inside the Gallery (eg, after coming in the Main Entrance.)

  • John Gray

Horrible place to visit and be seen. The place is filthy, and the Staff is very rude. The nurses advised that the ADMINISTRATION assigns Each nurse around six patients. They don’t have time to spend in each room. Much less time to get the medicine delivered on time. So they have to pick the worst patient. So, even if you’re in severe pain, you may not necessarily get your medicine for up to an hour or more. The nursing staff can be very rude like that, if Samantha, you’ll see when you have her angels your name.

  • Ace Bex

I went to the ER on Saturday with a kidney stone. The ER seemed somewhat busy but, the staff got me into a room right away. Letitia, my nurse, took her time trying to find the right spot to put in an IV port. Dr. Ross also saw me quickly. They set up tests and medications quickly. All staff members that I interacted with were friendly and professional. Everyone seemed attentive to my needs. I travel from Noblesville to Community North due to my continual experience of great care I receive there.

My mom was in and out of this hospital 6 times in 7 months and we could not have asked for better care. The staff of this hospital is amazing. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make Mom and myself feel safe and secure about her care. Doctors took time to explain everything they were going to do before it was done. The nurses...angels in disguise. They went way beyond their job description in getting help for Mom. I will forever be grateful to this hospital and their staff

Went here after an unfortunate wellness check due to my insomnia. Not only did they refuse to give me my prescribed insomnia medication, but they had this weird notion that I was using drugs (I assume because I had dental problems at the time) and were trying to force me to take detox medication despite being completely sober, and were angry when I refused, but god knows what this could have done to me. These doctors are incompetent and I've been worse off since I went to this hospital.

This hospital has been great to my family. They delivered both of my children. Great nursing staff and doctors. I recently had to use the ER and had to have an emergency surgery. From intake to outpatient I was treated with respect and they quickly attended to my needs. I love this place like a love my home. I know it is not easy to deal with hospitals but they ALL listened and reacted and asked the proper questions and gave the proper answers. What more can one expect!✊

  • Trevor Overturf (OverturfTruth)

The care of our child in the NICU, has been bar none the best! Question: Does community condone its employees YELLING AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS, with their phone on speaker in the cafeteria? Seems all the culprits are dressed in dark blue scrubs, (not black scrubs) transportation is always considerate. This goes farther as on the phone they elbow past people waiting to order. These dark blue scrubs are spitting on the demeanor of the service oriented staff in the building.

My daughter had a baby at Community Hospital North and her experience wasn’t good. The nurses didn’t give her pain meds in a timely manner. Her pain was really high. She asked for things and was told they don’t provide them. She was breastfeeding and the Lactation woman told her that she could figure it out! What kind of hospital is this?? It should be quality NOT quantity!! No one came and cleaned her room the whole time she was there. It wasn’t a good experience!!

  • Kate

I’m from NWI but I was down in Indy when I started experiencing extreme pain in abdomen and back and had urine that didn’t smell right and burning when I used the bathroom. They did not prescribe me anything for pain nor antibiotics. I made it home a few days later and was immediately diagnosed with a kidney infection. I asked the staff at this hospital to take my blood since they said they didn’t see anything in my urine. They refused. I could have died. Thanks.

  • michele madley

We were told they deliver the most babies in the state yet they provided horrible care to my daughter following her c section. Forgot to give her pain meds on overnight shift. No one showed her how to care for herself after her c section. She asked how to take care of her baby’s embillical cord and the nurse answer was “you dont”. No one showed her how to care for herself or use any thing in the bag in the restroom. It was a horrible experience for her

We had a good experience checking in for my sisters out patient surgery. We were told that once she was settled in recovery I could go be with her for the remainder of time, an hour or so. That was not the case. When I asked when I could see her, I was told because she was not staying over I could not see her until she was ready to be released. The staff was polite but they should do a better job communicating consistent policy.

  • Meagan Coulson

Had my first child here about 2 months ago. Best staff and service employees I've ever seen. Amazing nurses that thoroughly answered all questions and then some. There were lactation consultants to help us several times a day. The rooms are pristine, clean and quiet. It felt like staying at a hotel with bedside service, seriously. Love this place, any other additions to my family will absolutely be at this hospital.

  • Sonya Vazquez-Carbajal

Went to the E.R. for my back yesterday and I had a very unpleasant experience. I was poked and they decided that it was a muscle spasm. They asked me questions that I was embarrassed to answer. There were 3 so called Dr.s that walked in my room it was very uncomfortable. I lied about some questions that they asked because I was EMBARRASSED. I hope that no one else experiences this... my exam lasted 5 minutes...

  • Deb RueSell

My mother was at Community Hospital North. I don't know what we would have done without them. They saved my mom's life with God's love and guidance of course. Everyone there is very good and compassionate. There are 6 of us siblings. And all of us are very satisfied with the wonderful care that they gave my Mother.. I give the rating of 5 stars, I would give more if I could. Thank you Community Hospital North.

  • Tiera

I don’t understand all the negative comments. This is my go to hospital I had a nurse that checked on me so much that I thought he was stalking me lol jp jp. But I battle some an addiction issues and because of it I developed a condition that’s painful but they never judge me and they really care and want to see me succeed. Thank you guys so much for makin sure I leave better than I came in.

  • Demona Hlu

Best service ever. Sometime after feeling a bit better, they still come and check up on me a LOT. Especially after i felt a bit better I felt kind of bad that they always had to come even just for restroom visits. If you tell where or how you feel unwell, they’ll give you a new medicine immediately and see if it helps. Help service was amazing and the staffs were so kind too.

  • Megan A.

Labor and delivery needs a lot of work. Most of the rooms are very old and look like a cheap motel. Curtains don’t work, holes in picture frames, broken water machines, You name it it’s probably broken. The staff is amazing and that’s the only thing it has going for it. And please do not get started on the room service, although staff is great the food is prison grade.

  • Joe .Halstead

I’ll be disputing the doctors charges, I have a pain in my pelvis and vertigo and vomiting. They didn’t figure anything out and just sent me home. The female DO doctor needs to not drop her exit script until she’s figured out why someone is there. Horrible facility. Little DO lady, neither you nor the facility are getting any money from this I’ve already told Anthem.

  • J Loftis

My father was in for a procedure today. He was nervous to be expected. From the administrative people to the nurse and doctors he was made to feel comfortable. Our nurse was so friendly and so very helpful (Melissa, surgery room 9) just want to say thank you so much for the kindness and commitment you showed to your patient my 80 yr old father. You were wonderful.

  • Laurie Barker

My experience from my extensive surgery, no words can express my gratitude to Dr. O and his associates, and then on the orthopedic unit was excellent because of a patient tech named Andrea and the entire nursing staff from the time I arrived on the unit from post op until I left the hospital. Thank you for all you do! Exceptional care does not go unnoticed!!

  • S c

My Doctor tried to kill Me Dr Donato Ciaccia. Guy does not know difference between liver and spleen. Put me in coma for 4 months. This Hospital let me get bed scores lousy skin graft to fix bed scars. Then they ship me to Kendra north Hospital nurse keeps turning off my oxygen laughing watching me fight for air. You tell Hospital what happens they do NOTHING

  • Tabitha

My family loves & trusts Community Health Network with all of our health needs. Community North Hospital is a gem. They offer valet + self parking, Starbucks and gift shop. The labor and delivery rooms are TOP NOTCH --- I always (jokingly) tell people that the rooms are why we had a 2nd baby. I especially enjoy seeing Dr. Ertel for OB/GYN care.

  • Leslie Grable

The hospital itself is nice but the check in desk could use a makeover of kinder people. Absolutely no personality or hospitality what so ever. I'm not looking for a friend here but these people should be representing this hospital in a warm welcome. You have loved ones here in a compromised situation, a little kindness goes a long way.

  • Matt Means

Would never go to this hospital if my life depended on it. Staff are terrible in icu area. Palliative group needs fired and replaced. Not one person cares enough to go the extra mile. If you’re a donor it’s worse. Tried to switch hospitals. They denied it. Didn’t take the best of care of my sibling while she was in the last of her days.

  • Ronda Cox

My 82 year old mother ( who is a fall risk) called for help as an in patient and no one responded for over an hour. Soiled linen left in room. Staff complaining about other staff and the other patients medical conditions including their personal health information. Shortage of supplies including toilet paper. Do not recommend at all!

  • Penny Buchanan

I have been at this hospital many times, twice they have saved my life. Every doctor, check in personnel, floor nurse, surgery nurse, dietary staff and housekeeping have been the kindest, empathetic, and caring people i have ever encountered. I will never go anywhere else or take my family anywhere else. Best hospital ever.

  • Shatoya Riggens

I’m usually not one to go to the emergency room, but I went in today 7/7/22 because my blood sugar level was extremely high(455). As high as it was you’d think they would see me immediately and my blood pressure was extreme as well and I still had to sit and wait a long time, so I left. Poor judgment on their part.

  • Bryan Terry

Medcheck sent me here 10/12 Abcess on throat 9 out of 10 pain score Nurses and Dr.M were superb… but ENT doc on call couldn’t bother returning mr Dr. call after 4 hours I guess there’s only 1 ENT for such a big hospital. In my opinion if one is having ears, nose, throat problems might wanna think about ST.Vincents

  • Reneka Day

On the nights of 10/3/22 and 10/4/22 the security at the front desk were extremely disrespectful in their approach to the visitors and families of the maternity ward. Approach, tone, use of words, and uncaring demeanors were displayed. They must work on their communication with the public in need or in general.

  • Ryan Dorfmeyer

My mom has been receiving treatment here for a week now and I am just blown away by the compassion and care she has received from her doctors and nurses all the way to the kitchen staff. This hospital is managed very well. Very clean and organized. Thank you so much for helping my family thru this tough time.

  • Nathan Meck

This hospital is complete trash. They were utterly disrespectful and arrogant towards my well composed mother, snapped at her and constantly cut her off in the middle of conversation, would not listen, and refused to do their job and even look into the situation at hand. SHAME ON YOU ALL. Infuriating.

  • Chris S

My wife had some labs done here. As someone who works with healthcare workers all over the state, I can say without a doubt that this location has some really wonderful people! They were compassionate, communicative, and professional. I never want to go anywhere else, and neither does my wife.

  • Karen H

I was very impressed. When my husband was about to die and I was sobbing, a worker escorted me to his room. Also, palliative care and the chaplain came in. After he died I was given information about support groups and the chaplain sent me a sympathy card. They were awesome.

  • Barbara O'Dea

My daughter was in ICU there and also had palliative care. I can't say enough about how caring and attentive the entire staff was. She received the best care during the last days of her life. The staff went over and above to myself and my granddaughter also.

  • Cameo Young

Would not recommend obgyn is a job you can’t get in contact with no one that’s important unless your at your visit they do not care about your well being run do not walk away from this office I hate it I have 3 preventable miscarriages dealing with them

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Not only is the hospital itself one of the best hospitals I've ever been to, but the staff is nothing short of extraordinary. I had surgery here and was in wonderful hands of countless women who

I could not urge the public more, if you have minor children or adolescents do not use this ER! We had fishers for department transport or child to the ER for treatment, the nurse assigned was rude and argumentative. When we told her we did

I had to spend a week in the hospital from February 17th 2018 to February 23rd 2018 . I had never had to be in one overnight for myself. I had a lot of anxiety and was in tremendous amount of pain and several medical issues causing myself

Security was incredibly insensitive and demonstrated absolutely no compassion as I was told that my mother's great grandchildren could not sit in the lobby while her granddaughters, who traveled from 3 different states on Sunday, came to

  • Brett Logan

I'm not sure how good the care is, but Ayiesha in the Gift Shop and Officer Carter from the Front Desk were amazing to help me get some flowers to a great friend who recently got some bad news. Grateful to the both of them! Thank you!

  • Kylee Boyll

Recent experience in the ICU: If you would like to have visitation with your loved ones, do not come to Community Hospital. Nurses will change visitation protocol unannounced and ensure your loved ones lay alone all day and night.

  • Gary Zellar

We came to Community North to get emergency care for my girlfriend. The care she received at Community was excellent in every way and should be the standard by which other emergency room care is judged. The nurses, the aides, the

Spent time in the Emergency Unit. Great, time in the PCU-nice at first, on the second evening some of the staff took the room next to me partied. Ridiculous! Hard to be recovering and not sleep. Will do what I can to stay away

Wonderful labor and delivery staff. Felt so heard and cared for during our stay, especially when I needed to have an unplanned c section. I have never known more compassionate medical people. Highly recommend.

I had my daughter 24 1/2 weeks prematurely at Community North and I LOVED ALL MY NURSES, with my princess was in GREAT CARE.... the progress of our princess …

Can I go a year without you sending me letters that our private information was stolen? Your cyber security is almost as bad as your NICU and Maternity Ward nurses.

We couldn’t have had better care in Oncology while staying 5 days at a time for chemo! Thank you 3 rd floor 3200 wing !! Amazing !

Easy to navigate through corridors with plenty of hospital employees willing to assist you to finding your way if you get lost.
