As Nepal embassy never answer your calls, I thought I would call these guys to enquire about the passport renewal process. Despite’s the fact that Nepal embassy has all the process of passport renewal published in their website , they recently change the process overnight claiming that person has to be mandatorily present at the embassy for biometrics, unfortunately Melbourne consular has no information regarding this, the rule was changed overnight it seems these people here make decisions on their own. Melbourne consulate has still wrong information regarding passport renewal process, these people don’t care, as they are not here to help people , I am not sure whether these guys are paid to run the consulate office or not but they do not deserve it, lift up your game and do some advocacy.

I would give them 10stars if I could. They always answer my phone calls (of course during the working hours). Best experience with consulate ever. I have been contacting them three times about the visa, all those three times were a great experience. They are very nice and helpful, the processing time is fast. If you have done everything right, send and provide all your documents via an email. All you you need is to call them if you don’t hear back from them and they will assist you with your needs. Very helpful...Year ago i was on the way to Nepal with mine damaged passport. I didnt get border pass from Sydney so i went to melbourne..I was still unsure for mine border pass..It was a public holiday..I called on their private phone...They were ready to help me and guided me nicely...They told me to write special request letter if i couldnt get entry....They are really helpful...This is mine 5 stars honest review...

The first time I came to the consulate office there were no staff in attendance during the lunch period. The second time I came, Pragyat Rai was very helpful and sorted out my visa application quickly and I received approval within 24 hours. Thank-you.

What an amazing team of staff at Consulate General of Nepal Melbourne office. My baby’s tourist visa get it done within short time even I was in queue after couple of other people. The service I experienced today was 10/10. …

Pleasant and brief interaction, and much, much easier than trying to get the Visa on the ground at KTM. I was in there for five minutes - it seemed to take longer going up and down in the lifts. The electronic visa was emailed later that day.

Lovely people. Not super easy to spot with the building entrance in behind Melbourne Halal Food Centre. Walk down the left to the elevators. As at late 2019 the right hand elevator lights aren't working but the elevator still runs fine!

Very friendly staff!! Pragyat Rai helped out and we were able to get the visa on the same day for my wife, baby and I even thought I made a mistake on the online form I had filled out. Thank you !!!!
