My parents took their car to be fixed by the man who runs this place. It needed a new transmission. They paid $900 to have it fixed and he had it parked there at this shop for about a year. When my parents got it back the trasmission was still messing up and the car would overheat. So he told them to take it back to him and they did. He told them that he was going to put a new transmission in it but after a few months went by with no word on the car. My mom called him and he told her that he just bought a car from an auction and was going to put that transmission in my moms car so obviously it was not a new transmission. A couple more months passed and we called again to get the car and he would say it's not ready or we would be told he wasn't there. So we showed up and he told us that it would be ready the next day. We went the next day and finally took the car. My parents decided to let my sister have the car. We had it for not even a week and the car messed up again. It's the transmission and when we told the mechanic about it. He said it was our fault. And now it's just parked in our driveway until we figure out what to do with it. It's sad that when we mention who worked on it, those people say " oh you shouldn't have gone there, that shop was on the news for being a crappy place to have your car worked on. "

I took my car there and I understand there are more cars to be fixed but had to wait a whole week before I got my car back. I had to go there they didn't even call when I got there one of the mechanics didn't even know what was going on, if my car was ready or not because the boss was not around. The boss finally got there my husband paid him. Once I left my car felt so brand new again while driving on the freeway. We took it there because of something with the gas level dropping down when the gas level read half tank. 2 weeks later it happened again and everything shut down again, I told my husband about it and he was surprised bc he has always fixed out vehicles and this has never happened. My husband and him go way back as friends but no matter what do not forget your RECEIPT. That's the mistake my husband made and now we can't take the car back. Now we need to go elsewhere!!! Would not recommend this place.

I'm sure many people like me have become very leery of auto repair because of the prices, and the car just never gets fixed. I was so happy to discover this little gem on the Southside of town. Though I had passed by many times and seen many vehicles there, I didn't think I'd need their services soon. I am so happy I stopped there. Pete, the owner, is so nice and was more than happy to take care of my vehicle so quickly. The price was reasonable and my car is running great. I was so relieved. "Thanks Pete"! You'll be seeing me again.

This place is Awesome. My family has been taking our vehicles to Pete at County for years! Super trust worthy, super nice, amazingly talented mechanics! The only time I even think about going somewhere else is when it’s an issue County can’t fix, which is rare. These guys can listen to your car for a few seconds and know what’s wrong.

Left my vehicle there for a month for them just to turn around and tell me they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Probably would have sat there for 2 months if I hadn't started calling more frequently following up

County automotive is the only place i go for my car repairs, they are more affordable then any other auto shop I've seen and they haven't let me down once. These guys are the only reason my 1996 Chevy lumina still works

I only go here. This shop does good, honest work. They charge a fair price and I never have any concerns. They always take the time to explain what service they will be doing and I've never had any concerns.
