Visit August 2023. Very underwhelming. Whilst true to its age, an old cottage, as paid accomodation, the property is disappointing. Owners seemingly away, blamed management for issues, and with no apology for my raised issues via an email. However, the problems did not occur overnight. Blackened (mould) silicon in the small corner shower units, visually ugly, and a dangerous totally loose drain cover exposing the large floor waste pipe in master shower. Unacceptable. Master bedroom entire full length flyscreen hanging precariously off its hinge. Visually ugly along with the curtain's unevenly hanging on pieces of threads from their rings. Missing a side bed light. Multiple light globes across the rooms not working, shaving powerpoint in bathroom hanging out of wall. Dangerous to say the least. Main pendant light in a second bedroom, with fallen rose and fully exposed wiring. Great bedtime view! Very rusty old BBQ, no gas for a nights use. 2 of the 4 supplied main plates, badly chipped. Towel rack missing wheels so unstable to use. No firelighters as promised, so trip to Coles. (supply own wood which I understand due to cost) This accommodation needs upkeep, tired looking, but importantly, owners that need to be more considerate of paying guests and fix things that I would arguably consider unacceptable in any accomodation.

My wife and I found this wonderful place as the perfect base to get away from the busy life and enjoy a long weekend in the Yarra Valley. The bath is a deep and joyful experience to soak in at the end of day. So nice to be in this warm quiet place off the main road through town but just a minute’s walk away from all the great places to enjoy a great drink and a meal. Big and wonderfully comfortable beds give a deep relaxing sleep. It has to be said that this place allowed me to slow down and be supremely comfortable - so much so that I finally managed to take time and finish reading a long partially read book!

Such a gorgeous cottage. My friend and I had 2 nights there as a girl's trip. She loved the master bedroom and ensuite. I was in the cutest, cosiest 2nd bedroom. Bonus having separate bathrooms with lovely toiletries. Immaculately clean and presented. Furnished thoughtfully to the period of the cottage. Comfy lounge with two couches for us to stretch out and great size kitchen, dining room. Some supplies provided so we didn't have to bring. Eg. Sauces, salt) pepper, milk, gladwrap, foil etc.... We spent most of our visit in the courtyard after a few hours chilling in the front deck. It was close to the end of the shops and we enjoyed wandering around spending up in the gorgeous gift shops. Thank you Angelique and Chris. We hope to be back, possibly with our husbands? Or not - another girls trip would be great!

A little gem hidden behind a camellia hedge. A perfectly located base to explore Healesville and its beautiful region. Easy walk to the main street, with everything we needed, this charming cottage made for a very comfortable stay! Loved the wood fire. Very clean, warm and great bathrooms. Would recommend staying here.
My wife and I stayed at Courtyard Cottage for two nights straight after our wedding on the weekend. The place was amazing - Maureen looked after us and it was the perfect place to unwind after the big day. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed stay in Healesville.
A wonderful way to come out of lock down. The cottage is spotless and very comfortable. The location is brilliant too in terms of access to local pubs and restaurants. Thanks for looking after us!
