Craven Cottage has to be one of the best grounds I've been to in London. Modern and traditional, most definitely had a great view from my seat in the second row of the Johnny Haynes Stand. Upon arrival at the turnstiles, it was quite frustrating to have been told that my bag was too big. So I had to leave it at a drop off point, located in a separate building. If anyone does plan to bring a bag with them to Craven Cottage, make sure it is a small one. Otherwise do get there early, as the queues can be big at the drop off point pre and post match. The stewards were very helpful, as were the Fulham fans who I approached when asking for directions. The route from Hammersmith Station takes approximately 25 minutes to walk. There is also the option of taking the 220 bus, could take 15 minutes depending on the traffic. Overall, the experience was great and was glad to have finally ticked off a visit to The Cottage!

Stadium tours are a lot of fun, you learn things about the buildings and you don’t even need to be a fan. In my case, I am a fan of Fulham Football Club. This was my first stadium tour here and, if I get a chance, will not be my last. The old stand, first called the Stevenage Road Stand, and now the Johnny Haynes Stand, is the oldest working stadium stand in the UK and possibly the world. It was built in 1905 and the architect was Archibald Leitch, who designed many, many football stadiums in Great Britain. Not only Fulham, but Manchester United, Everton, Glasgow Rangers, Liverpool, Arsenal—many of the biggest names in world football, but this is the only one that still remains. I had a fantastic tour guide named Trevor and we had a tremendous afternoon. Highly recommended!

Hello. Not so long ago returned from London, which we love very much. In terms of visiting this beautiful city, it was mandatory to visit Craven Cottage Stadium and two home matches with Fulham. This is not our first visit, and everything is familiar as they say, but despite this, every time you are near the stadium or when you are at the match, you fully feel all the splendor and home atmosphere that is present there and it is very difficult to convey. Therefore, when you are in London, be sure to include in your program visits to the stadium and preferably the match itself in order to get a sea of pleasure and then pleasant memories.

The stadium itself is actually relatively modern once inside. It's historica, being a former cottage, that literally forms part of the new stadium. It sits right on the Thames. However there are some significant flaws. The food and drinks situation at half time was horrible, as most of them closed and there was a line that probably took 30 minutes to wait for a hot dog. Also the line for the bathroom was also way too long when compared to other stadiums I've been to. However overall a pleasing experience.

The new stand at Fulham is not fully open as yet, season 2022-2023. The away seats are pretty standard, neither comfortable or uncomfortable, but with little leg room. The view of the pitch is good as long as you are not behind one of the columns that support the roof. There are plenty of bars for purchasing drinks behind the stand. The view of the river is now obscured by the new stand. There are numerous transport options and arriving and leaving is easy.

Beautiful place.. heaped in history. The football is good and the fans friendly. I first attended a match here in 1978 and it has a proper old school feel. The ground has been upgraded to all seater with 4 covered stands. It is set right by the River Thames which gives great views . You can have the opportunity to watch the annual Boat Race from here. It gives an amazing view. This is my favourite place in the whole well... my church.. my home.

Love this stadium!! I don't support Fulham, but I come here as much as I can with a friend. The team are doing great right now but the stadium is just full of character, I love it! Always a great atmosphere, fans are friendly and there's is generally a good game of football to watch. Leaving is pretty simple and the crowds aren't too bad, just don't bother trying to drive there unless your willing to pay to park and/or park a couple miles away.

Excellent friendly match, Riverside Stand very welcoming. Today we were seated high up in the Riverside stand. Excellent view, just like the television angle. You are seated well above the Jonny Haynes Stand, so we could see over into London's sky line. You can imagine how it will look once it's finished, it's taking an awfully long time. So it's still rather temporary down stairs, with unfinished flooring and knocked up drinks stands.

Visited here last week and saw Fulham play Southampton. 100 percent would call it a charming experience based on the limited size of the crowd (25k capacity) and blend of old and new. Has to be the easiest Premier league ticket in London, we bought direct from the club weeks before game day. Sat on the new side. Enjoyed our game day experience, food, drink, bathrooms all lovely. Vibe was pleasant but not overwhelming. Would return!

We loved the stadium tour! Trevor and Julie were our guides and they were fabulous storytellers. It is fascinating to see “old” parts of the stadium still in tact. We love guided tours in general, but this one included many “fulhamish” anecdotes that allow for a very unique tour. We spent £25 each and the tour took about 80 minutes. Definitely recommend this tour if you are looking to visit one of the “smaller” stadiums!

Quirky ground with the Cottage in the corner and based on the side of the Thames. Always a great awayday. Strange but characteristic entrance to the away end. Excellent concourse with food and drink, and lots of room; based outside but underneath the stand. Visited in 2017 and then again in 2022 while the new stand was being constructed. Looked forward to going back at some point to see the finished job

A club with such a rich history has a great stadium that feels traditional and it's in ongoing expansion. I had the opportunity to seat very close to the pitch and the electricity is amazing. The facilities are also great, from toilets, to the team shop or the f&b sold at the premises. Can't wait for Fulham to be back on the Premier League and come back to The Cottage again

  • Christoph Locher

While I'm not a die hard Fulham fan, this is a great day out in a beautiful stadium on the river. Had a great atmosphere and the stadium is just overall really beautiful. Really enjoy a day out there. The bar under the stands on the river is a particular nice touch. Enjoying a half time pint looking over the river is a great way to spend 15 minutes between halves

  • James Gordon

A lovely football ground to visit and watch a game of football. Craven Cottage is very nice its a small ground with so much history the new Riverside stand has been completed and its so much bigger better and with comfortable padded seats. You get a great view of the pitch from there and the other stands. A must visit to this ground for any football fans.

  • John Kennealy

The tour was incredible. Not only is the stadium historical and interesting but the guide was super knowledgeable and easy to get along with. I'm not a Fullham fan but after the tour I might become one because it was that great. I only wish I was able to attend a match while I was there. Can't wait to see what it looks like when the renovations are done.

  • Gordon Freeman

This is what a proper English stadium looks like. Enjoyed every minute of it. It's right next to the Thames, has a fan-shop and a ticketing office open most of the time. Seeing Craven Cottage and Stamford Bridge just might make one become a lifelong English football fan instantly. Never change, Craven Cottage- never change.

  • Jan Nouwen

This stadium has a very traditional English atmosphere. It is situated in the middle of a neighborhood in West London. Be aware that, because of English laws, no alcohol can be consumed on the stands. You can buy alcohol before the game and at half time, but the drinks must be finished before you (re)enter the stands.

  • Henry Barfoot

One of my favourite stadiums in the UK. It’s managed to maintain the old club feel especially in the stand with the wooden seats. Great to still see the cottage in one end as well. Atmosphere is usually great and fans well behaved. Only problem is it can be a bit tricky to get tickets using their online system.

  • Frank Verduin

Maybe this is the kind of stadium every stadium should look like. What a great atmosphere and crowd. For sure I will visit this stadium when I'm in London to what the FFC playing their game. Tickets can be simply ordered online and it was very easy to get tickets for the long-end side of the stadium

  • MrBizness 1865

Brilliant ground with great atmosphere. Stands are close to pitch so you get near the action. The away goal end stand mixes fans which helps the atmosphere. Old school ground with the cottage as centrepiece. Not enough grounds like this. Easy to get here by public transport from central London

  • Mitch Drabenstott

I visited 4 stadiums during my trip to London and Craven Cottage was my favorite one. I absolutely love the old school vibe of the stadium and the welcoming atmosphere. All the staff, from stewards to team store employees, were very friendly. And to top it all off, Fulham beat Forest 5-0!

  • Peter Gatsios

The tour was absolutely amazing! The tour guides Ian and Courtney (Hopefully spelled that right) had an amazing take on the stadium and its history, and were clearly involved with it. Really passionate guys, and gave one of, if not, the best stadium tour i've been on. Thanks heaps!!

  • Sie Barlow

Visited as part of a run around London football grounds. Last came to Craven Cottage many years ago and looking forward to hopefully getting a ticket to come down when we play them in the Premier League. Stadium still holds some heritage and club shop was well stocked and good.

  • Clive Barnes

A Premier league ground that boasts a mix of old and new with the famous cottage in one corner opposite the impressive new stand. Located right by the river thames and easily accessible by public transport I liked the stadium, if not the result of the game I saw.

  • Gary Sutton

Took my son to his first ever football match. We both loved it and they beat Leeds United to boot!! Only gripe, the shop was a tad small but big enough for him (me) to buy a scarf and football. We will both be definitely going back in the future. …

  • Pitch Side

My favourite ground in the country and I’m not a Fulham fan but I have a soft spot for them. I recommend a visit if you are a neutral. Even coming as an away fan is a brilliant experience. Very friendly locals in a great location by the river!

  • Kratong Seaman

Great new stadium but turnstiles could be better as there were big queues after kick off. Good seats, not sure about value as it was just the second round of the Carabao Cup for £50, top corner. Hopefully when finished it'll be quite amazing.

  • Alessio Cataldo

It was my fist time at Craven Cottage! Very nice stadium and you can feel the historic side of it. Went to watch Fulham Vs Luton Town FC - 2023. Suggested underground station near the stadium Putney Bridge then 18mins walk. Great experience!

  • John Carr (Corinne and John)

Decent West London football ground by the side of the Thames. The away end is somewhat old fashioned and the concourse area is incredibly cramped. New riverside stand is still not fully open. Quite a walk from the nearest public transport.

  • Arlo Risby

Beautiful stadium, a wonderful mix of both modern interior and facilities, yet attractive historic building, not to mention the uniqueness of having a cottage in the stadium itself, I don't think there's anything like it in the world.

  • Derek Marshall

Fulham's football stadium at Craven Cottage is improving all the time. It was great to sit in the new Riverside Stand which will be impressive when completed. Some work needs doing on the access to the turnstiles for the stand.

  • Howard Brett

Step back in time and visit what stadiums used to be. A club punching above it's weight in the Premier league without the resources to compete. An off the beat location meaning it's hard to get to and away from.

  • Tom Chapman

No Vegan food, dangerous service due to serving tea with milk powder without making this clear. Could kill someone with severe allergies. Dangerous steps, West ham fan seriously injured today 10/12/23

  • Alan Barlow

First visit for forty years and the ground hasn't changed much. Decent view from the away end unless you are stuck behind one of the supporting pillars.Ground didn't open until an hour before kick off

  • Małgorzata Lipska-Boichuk

As I'm not a football fan at all, it was surprising to find the tour to Craven Cottage very very interesting. Big thank you to the guide named Ian - he provided us with so many interesting facts ☺️

  • Walter Alejandro Perez

Lovely place to visit. Just a twenty-minute walk from Hammersmith tube station. The ground is surrounded by magnificent houses. This is a must if you're looking for style and tradition in football

  • Grant Stortz

It has the classic english football atmosphere. I was fortunate enough to see the Fulham win. However, the stadium is nothing special and the gift shop was a tad small for a Premier League club.

  • Matthew Sommer

Sat on the north side. There are pillars that obstruct the view a bit but it didn’t detract at all for me. Great location. Friendly atmosphere. I sat in the family section and enjoyed it.

  • Stewart Innes

Lively vibrant home crowd Very family friendly ground in a stunning location by the Thames Great eateries in vicinity too One of my favourite away grounds in Europe Highly recommend Stu

  • Noor Hazmir Rosman

A small stadium comparatively but it has a sense of closeness and aura. I thinks it's one of the oldest stadium around. Next to Thames River bank...and a park. It's a wonderful park.

  • Mike Hills

First time sitting in the new stand. Very comfortable, great views but scarily steep stairs like Wembley. However nothing beats a pie and a pint looking at the Thames gurgling past.

  • Michael Wojtan

Great stadium hidden in a regular neighborhood. Had a chance to sit at the new Riverside stand in section R08, right by the away section. The energy inside the stadium was amazing.

  • Ray Hunte

We visited Fullham FC - Luton Town FC. Was a great experience. Very nice stadium with all the old and new builds integrated in the stadium. Staff was helpful and atmospher was nice

  • Sasa Marusic

Great stadium mixture of old and modern build. I was so impressed of with it and I was told it's a family club which you can feel on forst contact with people from the club!!

  • Elliot Hoare

One of the most beautiful Football Stadiums in the world. Full of character and charm, nestled into a residential neighbourhood on the river. Craven cottage is a stunner!

  • Stephen Lee

A place I like to come to is Fulham fc family club and a nice ground for the age it is worth a visit Veiw from the away end is OK as well you'll see all the action

  • Ali A.

Came here to watch Fulham vs Leeds and gotta say I’m very glad that I went to the Leeds fans. God are Fulham fans boring. You could only here the Leeds supporter.

  • Matthew Harrison

Always seems to be a good Ambience around the ground. With the staff extremely helpful and on point. Enjoy the experience e everytime I visit the stadium.

  • Alan Russell

One of my favourite football grounds to visit. Idyllic surroundings on the riverside in a historical setting, and a very family friendly environment.

  • Paul Huckle

Fantastic stadium tour! So much preserved heritage along with modern-day stadia! Our tour guide was brilliant, and we all had a thoroughly good time.

  • Stephen Wilson

Great authentic football stadium. Passionate fans. Really good staff. A well organised operation. Sadly the result 0-3 on the day wasn’t expected.

  • Ciccio Lino

For me one of the better looking stadiums in London..Of course it's small, but it fits perfectly in the neighborhood of Fulham..Very authentic..

  • Julián Bozza

As an argentinian, to watch a premier league game in such an historical stadium was one of the most amazing experiencies of my life

  • Bossman CD

I support this club and I love that the johnny Haynes stand cannot be knocked down. I love the cool name and I am forever fulham!

  • Robin

Best and oldest football ground in London. Always a good atmosphere at the matches. And the Craven Cottage Tour is 2nd to none.

  • Jack Platt

  • Tony Cheung

Great atmosphere to watch game here. However, it really needs some serious renovation. The stadium is quite old.

  • Chad

It's a great historical football stadium. It has a great atmosphere and is a must-see for any football fan.

  • Franco Solano

People working there are really nice. The store is small, so i recommend going before the match.
