The shonkiest real estate agents in the world. 0 stars. I rented a house from them for two years. First it took them more than 3 months to draw up a lease after I had moved in and they blamed us for it. I have been at them fortnightly for 18 months about various repairs and nothing was done. The electricity cut out several times when appliances were turned on and we were then without hot water and fridges were off. They would send the owner’s nephew to “look at” it but nothing was ever properly fixed. Mostly they did not even respond to my emails. Our property manager left the company and no one responded to any of our contact for 4 months. Our new property manager got upset when he was accused of being shonky and assured us that he was different. This was a lie. Now after moving out getting the bond back has been a joke. I was told they lodged the form right after the inspection. This was a lie. The agent said there was a problem with my account details. This was a lie. Then I lodged the form myself but Bond Board told me the signature did not match the one they have. The agent told me he would contact the Bond Board. This was a lie. I have asked them repeatedly via email and phone to contact me and the Bond Board and they do not answer. The receptionist refuses to put me through to anyone else and our property manager is apparently never in the office. It has been more than 6 weeks. I have heard a lot of stories of terrible real estate agents but these guys take the cake. Steer clear. EDIT: After posting this review they contacted me to give excuses for all the problems and ask me to take down the review.

I've never submitted a bad review about any business before, but I feel strongly about this. My partner and I have never experienced such complete disregard in any service, ever before, let alone in the management of our home. Our experience as tenants was so abysmal under Andy Nguyen's management, that as we have still been completely ignored in our attempts to resolve the finalising of our move out (several weeks after the fact), and the Licensee is also ignoring our attempts at contact, we've submitted complaints to NSW Fair Trading, and the ACCC. No property could be worth being managed by this agency. We do not recommend in any instance. Edit since their reply: only a portion of the maintenance issues we reported for 6 full months were strata related; others were internal and as such, on CPA, eg an internal light fitting completely disintegrated out of the ceiling gyprock. Regarding finalising our move, our bond was only released to us over 3 weeks late after we submitted the claim ourselves and we alerted their receptionist to the ACCC complaint when Andy Nguyen still didn't agree to the bond's release. We've still received no actual correspondence from anyone at all, especially Andy Nguyen, so their comment regarding contacting their office is void. I again reiterate how poor their conduct is, and don't recommend them in any instance.

We rented a place for 4.5 years with Creative Property Agents in Ashfield couple of years ago. We were dealing with Jennifer and she was absolutely lovely, professional and everything was always sorted for us in a very timely manner. Honestly, I'm pretty surprised to see a few 1 star reviews here, but I suppose you should always remember it's about give and take and there are also responsibilities not just rights when you enter in any kind of agreement. Back to the positives- we always found communication to be friendly, I think we extended our lease at least 3 times and it was always prepared without any delays. All inspections were well organised and painless. Had no complaints whatsoever. And we have dealt with our fair share of uninterested agents and horrible service over the years, but Creative Property Agents were definitely not one of them. When we were moving away from Syd couple of months back, Jennifer gave us the best reference (although we haven't been renting with her for almost 2 years now), which I believe helped us a lot to secure a place in these market conditions. We haven't had much dealings with other people in the office, but whenever we popped in there either to extend the lease, pick up/drop off keys, everyone came across absolutely lovely.

Do not trust them. One of the agents (Tanya) entered my apartment without notifying me (during inspections as I was leaving the property). It was lucky I was actually at home and caught her coming into my apartment. No explanation as to why she was there without my consent. She didn't even knock. This was an unbelievable violation of tenant rights. Also had to deal with flooding over the weekend that I had notified them and the plumber of when it was just a small leak in a light fixture. The leak got progressively worse. The plumber said there's nothing they can do, the strata needs to fix it and they have contacted them. Called the agency again on Friday and Saturday because no one else had come and the carpet was getting soaked with more areas of the ceiling leaking. They informed me that they tried to get in contact with the strata but no reply and I just have to hold out until Monday. The place became uninhabitable and their office was not open on Sunday. Had to miss work on Monday to sort it out because of their incompetence and they had the gall to tell me that I should have told them about this earlier. The agents are horrible and difficult to get a hold of by phone or email (particularly Beatrix). I will never rent an apartment from them again.

Edit: Initially I only left a rating not a review. Creative Property changed their response to my rating and are claiming I never rented with them. This is false. I have the paperwork to prove I was a tenant through this agency. They would give me inconsistent information about my tenancy agreement throughout the time I rented with them, so I had to check my paperwork. Two years after I moved out and returned my keys, a former housemate contacted me. Creative Property was claiming that I was still a tenant and they needed my signature for the bond to be reclaimed. I gave my three weeks notice to the agency in writing when I moved out, as per NSW law for ending a periodic rental agreement (the type of agreement I had). They were incorrect in claiming I was still a tenant. I forwarded the paperwork to my former housemate so he could reclaim the bond. Now they're claiming I never rented with them? This is untrue. It seems I am a tenant when it serves their purposes, and I was never in their system when it doesn't. This is only one of many issues I has with this agency, including lack of email responses, timely repairs and poor apartment condition upon moving in.

They are great & very helpful. If you abide by the rules/law, comply with orders/notices and being a reasonable person you'll be ok. They care for their work, clients and customers. Jennifer who is in fact knowledgeable, responsive, and well experienced, she's very helpful. I got my queries answered not within 10mins but at least in a day. She even responds on her day off or public holidays not that I expected to but I appreciate. The team is professional, responsive and helpful, as long as you don't ask them repeated questions and you got the answer the first time, they have other important things to do I'm sure. Some things are beyond their control I know and yet they are the one who's been targeted. I'm sure someone out there can agree with me but probably too busy to leave a review and nowadays people who work at home can have more time leaving reviews or complain as I do now.

Don't believe the fake 5-star reviews... these guys were terrible to deal with. I purchased an off-the-plan apartment through them years ago and despite being given choices of colour schemes for tiles/carpets and aircon etc which I had signed for, the specs given to the builder were completely wrong. After raising this several times, I got no response from Creative Property Agents and discovered that many other owners who purchased their property through Creative Property Agents had also experienced the same thing. The most disappointing part was when I learned that Creative Property Agents had been dismissed by the developer due to 'too many issues with them'. If even property developers have bad experiences with them, surely that is reason enough to stay away from these clowns.

Having entrusted Creative Property Agents to manage my Ashfield unit for more than 9 years I can only recommend them highly. After moving from Sydney to Queensland I was reliant on them to deal with any with tenant issues or urgent repairs. My property manager, Maria Pollachini, dealt with any problems immediately and to my satisfaction, always keeping me apprised of the situation. Due to my positive relationship with Creative Property, when it came to selling the unit, I engaged Tony Graniero and his team for the job. Tony gave me a realistic expectation on price and more than competitive commission and advertising rates. I was waltzed through the process, regularly updated on perspective buyers and received a price consistent with expectations.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to creative property agents, first time renting a property and process was very easy. I had a late night emergency yesterday with a burst hot water heater that was leaking in the laundry. My wife contacted our property manager via text whom sent us the plumbers number whom attended within the hour and had stopped the leak. He returned the following morning and replaced the hot water heater with a new one. Lina also followed up to make sure everything was ok the following day Thank you again Creative team merry Xmas and happy new year

I have had very positive experiences with Creative in the past 5 years I have used them to manage my property in Ashfield. Maria has been prompt with her replies and communication. She has even gone out of her way to reply to messages and phone calls after hours when there is a more urgent issue. The trades people she uses have done a great job fixing up my old property as required. I have found all the staff at creative very friendly and professional. Their fees are lower than the other agents in the area. I would recommend.

Got connected with creative properties almost three years ago and I can say they are best at what they do. Very professional and helpful to get best for you. In all these years we never had any issue. When we vacated the property we lived in, they made sure we had a smooth process. Really helpful and proactive team, an excellent team to deal with. I recently sold a property and creative are renting out now and accidentally had a parcel sent to them. I called them to ask if they could ask the new owner if they could check for me. They called back to say they checked with the new owners to see if it was there and it wasn’t. Nothing. The new owners then contacted me directly, the same day to say they did receive both parcels in the weeks prior. So Creative flat out lied, not sure why apart from dodgy practice.

As a holder of a couple of investment properties, I've been using Creative Property Agents for over three years now to manage my units, and in that time I've had no issues with these guys that i can think of. Pretty-much from day one, they've been great at providing me low-risk tenants and keeping my units maintained and repaired whenever the circumstance is called for. Appreciate the work you guys put in keeping both me and my tenants satisfied.

Be careful of dealing with Jennifer. She is the worst property manager that I've met. She's never replied emails and intentionally ignores your needs. She is just the type of person who has absolutely no sense of responsibility. The fact that people like that survives working in this firm for such a long time does, in turn, say a lot about the nature of this firm as well. Try to avoid them!

I had to deal with a very incapableproperty manager called Maria. Never answer your emails, put in requests but she just ignored you. She told me the property is in a very quiet neighbourhood but turns out it is right next to the train track behind and it is very body from the train passing by. Never trust what they tell you and don't even bother dealing with them. Very unhelpful agent
