I visited the currys shop in Tottenham Court Road to return a faulty product I ordered online. When I got to the returns desk, I spoke to an assistant and was told I could not return online orders in store. The assistant left and I walked away and checked the online returns form. I went back to the returns desk and there were 4 staff members huddled around an iPad talking. They looked at me and continued talking. Another staff member walked behind the counter, looked at me and continued to ignore me. After a few minutes, the assistant came to talk to me and I showed him that is says I can return products in store if I have a fault with them. He called over his manager, who refused to accept my return. He said they cannot accept returns at their store, and I would need to go to a "bigger" store. I showed him what it says on the website, where it says I can return my item in "any currys store" and he still refused. He would not elaborate on what a "bigger" currys store was, nor was he able to direct me to one. I am appalled by this service. The staff were incredibly disrespectful and did nothing to help me. I usually don't make complaints, but this left such a bad taste in my mouth. They were completely unknowledgeable and unwilling to help.

Honestly a really bad tech store. I went there a few months ago to check out an airfryer and I managed to find it. I tried to find a worker to help me to get the airfryer as there were only on display. After about thirty minutes, I finally found a worker who actually tried to be helpful, who took out the airfryer and gave it to me. I then went to the checkout and I saw staff in the Samsung phone section of the store just gossiping and laughing instead of actually working. Though, I simply ignored it and made my way to the cashier. He immediately tried to sell me a Care Package for my airfryer for about £20 (I think). I simply said no as I did not need it. He then decided to lower the price of it? What? I was confused but soon enough I realised he was being cheeky trying to get some extra cash into his pockets. I obviously denied all offers, bought my airfryer and left. I don't recommend this store unless you plan on getting milked of everything you have for stupid things by irresponsible workers.

Order online for collection Cancelled after 1min approval. Going to the shop, nobody on the floor bother to come and check if help needed. I found one man to ask him from product I told him which one I want. The person didn't have a clue if they have it in the shop but of course is on display.. 1st . He went somewhere for few min came back telling me there is 2 colours but didn't bring the items with him then I told him which one I need then he went somewhere again and for much longer than before and I am like stupid waiting but it got me so angry as I wasted my whole break at work for this. What's the point having a shop if there is no stock for simple little things, stuff with no clue about Customer service!!

The pricing even with consideration for the differences in currency is still insane and frankly you should shop around before buying things here. Also this I feel like is sort of a problem with all the shops on this row but their isn't enough staff working the tills for there not to be these super long lines.

On Wednesday I bought a new cartridge for my Brother Printer and handed in the old one for recycling. What I didn't realise was that I had handed in the entire drum (ie the holder) with the cartridge. I realised my mistake on Friday morning and rushed down to Currys pc World where I was served by SUREN. He worked out that it could still be onsite and patiently looked in the bin in the store and then among the items waiting for collection outside. He walked back through the store with no expression on his face. So imagine my joy when he handed it to me! Big thanks to Suren for his generous customer service on a freezing cold day.

Basically an annoying visit. 3 or 4 staff standing around, none who worked for Carphone Warehouse . After 10 minutes got someone who did. After brief discussion making clear I wanted a new contract and not just to purchase a phone the pricing he pulled up for the Pixel 7 deal was £24 a month while the website deal was £21 a month which I showed him on my phone. This puzzled both of us and the staff member had no answer. Maybe the difference was his commission I don't know. As they didn't have it in stock anyway I went home and did the entire thing online and it was delivered the next day. Skip the shop and do it online.

Absolutely no service whatsoever not even at counter. A total joke of a shop. Useless staff that blank you and walk away when you try and get eye contact or approach them. Spent 20 minutes trying to get served. I even went to the front pay desk where no customers were and she couldn’t serve me either because a shop floor person had to serve me first. Lost a large sale as needed 4x 42” tvs for work displays. No wonder the high street is dying if this is the quality of shop offered up. An embarrassment to shops the staff here should hang their heads in shame. Argos will sort you out 5 mins Down the road

Terrible customer service and stock management. I paid for 10 projectors on 8th of November, to be delivered before the 10th. I got an email on the 10th stating they can only confirm 5 products. After taking payment for all 10, they gave me confirmation for 5 projectors. 2 days later I got a notification stating that they have 3 available in stock and the remaining items they do not know. Till this day they haven’t answered my calls or refunded me on the products. I was not able to collect VAT when I left the UK and the sales assistant was anything but helpful. Will never shop here again.

Been waiting in the queue for repairs & support section for 25 mins (and counting). The guy on the desk has been with the current customer the entire time clearly working on an exchange. I dont know how he can have such little initiative and not ask another staff member to come over when I have seen over 5 other employees in this space of time on the shop floor and he is well aware how long I have been waiting. Absolutely disgraceful. I would encourage the store manager to check their cameras for evidence it is 16th July currently 5:22pm and you will see how long I've been waiting.

Terrible experience. went to Curry's because I needed a laptop urgently before a flight and I assumed competence: big mistake. I was assured laptop would be delivered by midday the next day. No receipt sent to me. Took me an age to get through to customer service to track laptop down, made worse as receipt not sent. I will not used Curry's again for business. I run a company and we buy 5-6 laptops per year, and although we have used Curry's for a while but will now buy elsewhere. Could have been so easy if a couple of basic things had been done like sending me a receipt!

The worst customer service I've ever experienced, they cancelled my delivery on the morning it was due but never sent me a email or txt,when I called customer service the could not give me an answer and told me to go back to the store, At the store the manager was rude and told me he couldn't help and to call customer service, After three hours of frustration I finally got a answer to why and when my delivery was cancelled, All the staff in the Tottenham Court Road store were being sarcastic and not willing to help.Never going to order anything fro. I brought a pair of headphones from there 2 years ago with insurance. For whatever reason, I have had to go back a couple of times to replace them and even 2 years on, I get a new pair of headphones or credit towards a more expensive pair. This process is so quick and so easy I am very happy I brought from this store. The staff are okay, some are not very knowledgeable or too warm (excluding the Google Store whose employees are of very high standard!). But their service is great, aftercare for me has been refreshing and I go to this store for my digital needs

Store is good in general but feel really sorry for the upstairs workers. It’s extremely hot inside and I couldn’t be inside for long with my new born child because it’s dangerous. I asked someone why they don’t have AC and they because it’s not switched on. I think this is a real concern, not only for the poor staff members, but for the customers also. The heat upstairs is not safe for anyone’s well-being. Downstairs is okay due to the doors - but upstairs is ridiculous. I really hope someone can fix the AC or switch it on - not safe at all

Very transactional. No customer service whatsoever. You have too many staff in there. Maybe hire less but train them more. Also... I wanted to finance my purchase interest free cause you guys offer it and... Why not. The member of staff asked me:" if it doesn't go through, will you buy it anyway" , (stupidly) I said yes... And then surprise surprise, I was declined after only a few random questions... Really suspicious if you ask me. I bought the switch (totk edition) anyways, but I can promise you it will be my last purchase with Curry's.

Decided to buy a computer screen. Checked stock online. Came in to the shop to be tossed around from one consultant to another. That was probably fair - there was just one person who deals with computer screen. After waiting for 20 minutes, consultant checked the stock on the computer, which clearly said that two screens, which I was looking for, were available. Asked me to wait and disappeared for another 20 minutes. Returned just to tell me to order them online. Ended up going to Argos, to buy exactly the same screens. Waste of time.

This rating of 3 does not do justice for the service. The staff were really trying to be helpful. The 3 rating is for poor choice and for the 1st 3 machines I chose were not in stock even after machine 2 and 3 being told there were in stock. Finally settled on the 4th and got it. It would have been nice if I was offered some sort of discount or addition as a true apology but instead I just paid all upfront and left. I am looking for another but will look at going direct to vendor next.

Thank god looking at other reviews I'm not the only one. Literally every worker here is extremely arrogant and ignorant and doesn't bother to help even when they can tell you really need it. They are completely unattentive. Went here today to literally buy an SD card and nobody helped and when I was served, they are so rude and disrespectful and lack basic manners. No respect whatsoever from your workers. Manager is useless and doesn't bother to take anybody's complaint's seriously.

***Important message to head office.*** They have bad service, I even called and they were unimportant. I have been standing in this area for half an hour, but there is no news from anyone. They really have a very, very weak manager who does not know where he is. I'm really sorry that the company doesn't pay attention to this and they start working at 10:00 am. and it seems like they don't pay attention to the customer. And after half an hour I stopped to buy anything.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy from Curry’s EVER. Rubbish service. Complete disregard with the customer. Bought a fridge from them 2 weeks ago and after 5 appointments I still don’t have it installed in my kitchen. They simply DO NOT care at all about the costumer. Not worth to save a couple of pounds with them and miss appointments, miss work, miss your weekend waiting for them to come and it’s always a different excuse.

What a disaster! They messed up my gift voucher of £1350 and now I have to wait until it will be reverted back to the card, which could take 24-48 hours (?) then product delivered to the shop because no iPhones in the shop?? Staff should be trained to be accurate in checking during checkout and what to do if error takes place - not exit the transaction and risk losing the balance in the card. Such a complete waste of time!

Avoid at all costs!! I bought some headphones. Little did I know they'd constantly try to upsell me various things, and extend the conversation to slow down my purchase. They were polite but it's very pushy. They also ask for all your details for a simple purchase, and I now receive constant email spam. Furthermore, unsubscribe doesn't work!! Avoid at all costs - buy your items elsewhere, anywhere.

Want to pick up a pixel but didn't know which size to choose. However, all of their phones are strapped down into thick metal Frames. It is impossible to get the feeling of the phones like this! I asked the stuff it was the most rude and this interested person I've ever met in a store. Will surely not support this shop or company in any way and I still have no idea which pixel live with pickup

What a poorly ran shop, the management should be ashamed of the displays and lack of electronic items in show either missing or broken. Offer/sale prices either out of date or missing, much nicer better equipped stores elsewhere, no atmosphere or a feeling of wanting to buy, what a shame, wheres the mystery shoppers to bring to store to account and the management. Use to be so much better.

I expect meeting satan himself would be more proficient/ accommodating than shopping in store with the competent incompetent excuse the stand by for there store and flagship store. if they gave a cat a button that just said one word and only left the cat to be the only employee present at the time I was shopping I would consider another star but I'm not going to lie it's disgusting.

Visited the store to update my Hob and oven....was looked after by a very professional Currys associate SANJAY.... I was there exploring and googling and he was constantly there helping me and clarifying all my ambiguities and answered all my questions till I was satisfied.Had an amazing experience all because of him since I had little knowledge of what I had to buy( sizing etc)

Some members of staff very helpful when asked. Some of the staff avoided customers or tried to look busy and despite having a lot of staff there is only one person on each counter. I asked a member of staff who was doing nothing if I could make a return and they just asked me to wait at the counter where there was only one person and already a long queue.

The waiting time is very slow here. It seems like a lot of people milling around and no one actually there to help you at the repairs desk apart from one guy (although he is nice). Also weirdly dirty. There was brown stuff splattered all over one of the laptops. Curry's also takes a very long time repairing things.

Terrible experience. Not the first time I go to this store and is always very stressful to find someone to unlock the shelves so that I can actually buy the products. Extremely unorganised. Argos is definitely better they always offer a great costumer service in store and they are extremely efficient.

Fake Customer service, scamster company definitely stay away from big purchases of above GBP 100. I paid GBP 1000 for TV with 5 year warranty - they have made me go in circles and make 50 phone calls just to place a complaint and the tech support team in UK needs to be fired and removed from the jobs

One of the most poorly run stores I have visited. Very difficult to get the attention of any of the floor staff to get assistance. Have yet to have a single visit there without experiencing major problems. Not to mention store is very hot and constantly blaring obnoxious music at a very high volume

Decent enough staff it took me only twice to find the right spot to buy a spare laptop charger. Would recommend this place for sure the staff at the help desk even checked the charger worked before I bought it... They also have a decent range of Google products
