I am nobody's cheerleader. I generally write reviews when I have an extreme experience with the business, usually extremely positive, sometimes extremely negative. I've had lots of different cars, lived in lots of different cities, so I've experienced service departments ranging from new Range Rover dealerships to the cash mechanic operating out of his backyard. My current daily driver is a Honda element with about 200,000 miles. I'm not afraid to spend money to not only keep it alive but when there are squeaks and rattles, I will do new parts before they are absolutely necessary. Keeping it quiet and tight keeps me from buying another car, so I’m ahead. However, I don't like wasting money. With high mileages cars, I have discovered this: Your best mechanic is the mechanic who specializes in your particular brand, especially high-mileage examples. For example: Noise from a power steering pump, normally the (completely reasonable) recommendation would be ... put in new power steering pump . Because D&W knows so much about not just Hondas but high mileage Hondas, they know that for my particular model and my particular year, a $9 washer replacement will solve the problem. I have other examples. I know other shops that operate in good faith, but unless they really get into the weeds on a particular brand, they’re not going to know the little quirks that can solve a problem without just throwing new parts at it. I wholeheartedly recommend D&W auto.

I heard about this place back in September from an Uber driver. I spent $1700 at another place for a tune up and to fix the AC cuz it started blowing warm air. But the AC never got fixed and I've been without AC since September 2022. I gave D&W a chance and they completely blew my mind. The price was A LOT lower than any other place I went to. The knowledge these guys have is absolutely phenomenal!! They didn't talk to me like I was a child and they definitely did not try to fix anything that wasn't broken. I owe this place my full loyalty as a Honda owner and I cannot see myself going anywhere else. My Honda, as old as it is, feels AMAZING!! If I knew who that Uber driver was from September I'd gladly shake his hand because that was the best recommendation I've ever received. If you are a Honda or Acura owner please give these guys a call because I cannot say this enough. They are clear, honest and can get the job done. The other place held on to my car for 3 days and wanted more money to fix the AC. Thank you D&W!! I'm very grateful!!

If I could give 50 stars I would!! These guys used to work as mechanics at the Honda dealership and started their own business and boy am I glad they did. First you gotta understand, I work hard so my Honda can have a better life lol, she's 22yrs old so she needs regular doctor visits. That being said, these are my Honda guys. I tried to pay them for storage since my car was there a while, they told me keep your money just pay us when we fix it. They also let you get your own parts if you prefer and every single time I come across something I can't do on my own I bring it here and they do an incredible job!! I would not take my Accord anywhere else. These guys are honest, quick and hard working. They're a teeny bit pricey but it's quality work so it's worth it. Next time your Honda/Acura needs to go to the doctor bring it here, they will diagnose and get it fixed in no time, and you will find your new mechanics!!!

Absolutely wonderful. This shop makes me proud (and even more thankful) to own a Honda. I put off finding a Honda mechanic for over a year after moving to Phoenix because I was mentally prepared for higher prices and even more predatory practices than I was used to. Not DW. I only wish I contacted them sooner. I called to get an estimate and was quoted the lowest price I've recieved between 4 different states and 6 years for a routine fluid procedure. When I arrived for the appointment, the gentleman working the front end introduced himself and called me out by name just by looking at my car. They had me out in just 30 minutes, and the service was perfect. I'm absolutely returning the next time I need something checked out on my Honda Fit. If you have a Honda, these are your people!!!

I never write reviews but...Can't believe I forgot about this place..years ago I use to take my Accord here..Not much has changed in 30 years except one of the mechanics from all those years ago is now one of the owners Excellent communication, excellent service and you can't beat the prices! Just to give you an idea I own a 2006 Ridgeline with 122,000 on it..Changing the transmission, transfer and rear differential fluid at the dealer would have been over $300..D&W did it for less than $200..I also needed new headlight housing and they suggested buying an aftermarket brand that I bought and they installed..No telling how many hundreds of dollars I saved doing it that way! Anyway, there is zero reasons not to use D&W and enjoy the extra cash in your pocket!

D&W is amazing. They'll flat-out tell you if DON'T need something done, and if something can wait, and how long it can wait. This is so rare. Justin at front desk is a pleasure to work with. Several times, they've done minor work (10 mins or less) on my older Honda and said "No charge!" Wifi & coffee in the small waiting room. Excellent work, friendly employees, great experience. I recommend them to all my Honda-driving friends. I have friends who drive in from North Scottsdale just to use D&W.

I just can't say better things about the team of guys at D & W Auto Service. I've had my car (2007 Honda Civic) in multiple times over the last year and they fix what is necessary now but let me know what can wait a while so I can spread the expenses out a bit. They are extremely informative, honest and friendly. I've worked with more than just one guy here and each one has treated me great each time. It's hard to find an auto mechanic you can trust. These guys have my trust! Thanks guys!

I never write reveiws but was compelled to do so here. I was visiting from Hawaii to buy a car for my son at NAU. I came here to have the potential purchase inspected prior to buying. Wow. The people, the service the straightforward attitude was amazing. All done with a smile. I felt like I was home in the islands again. I feel really lucky to have found this company and they made me realize there is still genuine people in the world. You can't go wrong with D&W Auto Service.

If you have a Honda or Acura then this is the place to go. Honest mechanics with NO unnecessary work being recommended as far as every time I’ve gone in for services and repairs. I recommend D and W even if it’s out of the way for you because it will be worth it. Do yourself a favor and skip the dealer “service advisor” games with high prices and questionable recommendations and instead give D and W a try and you will see why they have such a high review score on google. ;)

I have been going to D&W for 10+ years. I have yet to have a bad experience. They are experts at diagnosing your problems due to years of experience dealing with only Honda/Acura. They are fair and honest. My latest trip there was due to my A/C not blowing cold out of both vents. Justin told me what needed to be done to fix the problem. He said it would take an hour and cost $90. It was fixed in 45 minutes and cost $87. This is a good example of most of my visits to D&W.

I was recommended to D&W Auto by my late aunt's friend. I had to get my aunt's car checked out to ensure it was safe to drive back to California. I was told this was a reputable business, and that it was! Very reasonably priced! The employees were professional and nice. Worked mainly with Justin who was great, and so was everyone else! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of a mechanic. I now feel safe to drive the car back to California.

D & W came recommended from a friend. I’m so happy I tried them out. Needed service A & B on my Honda Accord. Usually I wait 2-3 hours at the dealership. D & W had me in and done in 30-40 minutes for a much better price. My brakes were a bit squeaky as well and they said it’s just brake dust you don’t need to replace them. I feel like this is an honest business that appreciates their customers. I would highly recommend you try them out for yourself.

It's a great day when you find an auto mechanic that you trust implicitly with your car. These guys are the best. Able to make an appointment to get an oil change and it only took a half hour.They told me my tires needed rotating, I said I got my tires at Costco so rotations are free so they didn't do that & I took it straight to Costco right after & had that done. They are always trying to save me money. Who else can say that about their mechanic?

It's like going to your friend's house, but your friend is an amazing mechanic and really knows their stuff. They are trustworthy and fair. Affordable and do much better work than anybody I've ever taken my car to. if you gave me a Lamborghini I would tell you to take it back because the shop only takes Hondas and even if I already didn't love driving a Honda I would drive one just to be able to continue going to this place.

They are an amazing family run Honda/Acura auto shop. They are down to earth and very helpful. Saved me a lot of money from falling for the lies of a dealership. Very ethical, and I can't stress that more, I bring in my own oil and these guys charge bare minimum for changing it out. I wouldn't mind driving back down to Phoenix to get my car worked on again if I had to, with these guys. Thanks again for the great service.

Justin is awesome. Honest, reliable and very helpful. I have been a Honda owner of many vehicles for over 30 years and he is the best I have ever had service my vehicles. I will be taking my other Civic to him next week...He has earned a customer for life. Brought my second car in a few days ago...same honest service. Don't go anywhere else. D & W is THE BEST!!!

We've been taking our 2007 Honda Fit to D&W for years and found them to be highly competent, honest and fair. Communication about issues and recommendations were consistently provided and timely. I've not known any service provider (auto, contracting, etc) that I would give 5 stars let alone recommend. However, D&W stand out and I highly recommend.

Took my civic in to get a regular oil change and after that Justin told me what was wrong with my car. He had thoroughly inspected and pointed out everything that needed replacing. He was cool and listened to my questions and what i had to say. They have a very reasonable pricing range. I highly recommend taking your Honda here.

I cannot express how much I love D&W and everyone that works there! I know that I can trust them to be honest with me, not abuse that trust, and always provide quality service (for a reasonable price). First rate experience with Justin and Bill. These guys know their way around Honda's. They did exactly what needed to be done, they did it right, they did it fast, and they charged me less than their original estimate. What's not to love? I took a friend here to pick up a car so didn't have a direct experience with these folks - but they seemed quintessentially professional and courteous. My friend has been coming here for years and has great things to say about them. I wouldn't hesitate to consider them for some auto work.

We took our car in after a month of trying to diagnose the problem ourselves. Wanted to avoid dealer hassle and chose D&W based on reviews online. These guys didn't disappoint! Excellent service, very reasonable pricing and Justin was awesome. Will definitely be a returning customer!
