While we were staying in DC for a short trip, on 3/12/23 the hotel we were staying at had a fire alarm, but it was a false alarm. While we stood outside and waited for the all clear, one of my children went and spoke with a tall firefighter who had a Halligan tool for opening doors, and he explained what it the tool was, very kindly and was patient and nice. A+ for being friendly and doing a great job, not only doing the work for safety, but also sharing time to teach and be welcoming.
My friend got his face burned and I called 911, truck came very quickly to help because Ambulance was 20 minutes.
Great fire house.
