3월 4일 DIY 사장님과 통화 후 친구랑 방문해서 중고차를 구입했습니다. 7000불짜리 2010년식 스바루 중고차를 현금 거래하면 500불 깍아준다는 말에 계약서 없이 6500불에 구입했습니다. 3월9일 친구와 함께 방문해서 잔금 6천불을 현금으로 사장님께 드렸습니다. 차를 받고 집에 오는 도중 차에서 소음이 나고 경고등에 불이 들어 와서 사장님께 연락했더니 저희 집에 오셔서 차를 확인하고는 위험하니까 이 차는 운행하지 말고 환불을 해준다고 하셨습니다. 제 친구도 옆에서 들었구요. 하지만 나중에 말을 바꾸어서 환불은 못해주고, 수리해 주겠다고 하고 차 수리비용을 반반 부담하자고 합니다. 제가 차를 사용하다가 고장난것이 아니고, 원래 문제가 있는 차를 판매해놓고 왜 제가 수리비 반을 지불해야하는지 납득이 가지 않네요 그리고 이제는 자기차를 판 것이 아니라 지인 차를 팔아준 것이니까 더 이상 자기한테 연락하지 말라고 합니다. 4개월 동안 열심히 일해서 아끼고 아껴서 모은 돈으로 산 차를 정상적으로 운행도 못하고 있습니다. 너무 억울해서 페어 트레이딩에 신고했는데 계약서가 없어서 진행이 어렵다고 합니다. 여러분, 절대로 현금 거래 하지 마시고 조심하세요! 그리고, 이런 경우에 어떻게 해야 되는지 아시는 분들은 도움 말씀 부탁드립니다.

I was pleasantly surprised to get my car serviced the same day I called them for a booking. It’s not a very flashy service center but good value for money. I had the front brake pads and oil changed. There was a minor transmission oil leak that I noticed underneath my car the next day, and had to take it back for a check. Turned out the screw was old and worn out (2010 Camry) and it was replaced at no extra charges. The owner is kind and considerate.

I booked in for a service today and DIY Motors was great. I had found them via Groupon and got a very good value service. There were a few things that needed fixing and they gave me a very good price and fixed it quickly. Left everything clean. They also were able to fit me in at short notice on a Saturday which was great. I really recommend them and will definitely go back. Thank you.

Not happy with the service. The engine oil level was too low and I had to add another litre of oil when I got home. Tyre pressures were not checked and were wrong. I'm wondering what else he didn't do. I paid for the rear brake pads to be replaced and the transmission fluid to be changed. I will check that these have been done as I have no confidence in this mechanic.

Highly recommend this shop ! I can't thank owner enough for helping out change engine oil, filter, transmission oil and its filter. He taught us one by one for the long long hours. Even you know nothing about vehicle maintenance, you can easily learn how to tune-up your car for a cheap price. It was very useful experience for us.

Nice service! using good quality engine oils, trans oils and they also checked the problems where i couldnt really find for myself and showed me what exact problem was for my engine. They told me how to manage my car nicely and well for the rest of next service. My car feels so much better then before! Thank you!

Absolutely disgusting, put a holding deposit down on a car he was selling only to be told there will be no warranty upon sale, decided not to go through with sale and Phillip refused to give our deposit back, now a police matter.. BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS... reported to MTA Qld dodgy seller and business

This place is not an ideal place to go for fixing cars or even having a look. Phillip the owner is a mechanic there with the glasses on. He is very sly, doggy and definitely an unethical person.

No fuss. Got the appt the day before. Showed up on time. Left about 40 mins later. Owner seemed genuine and advised on few stuff to keep track for future fixes. Strongly recommend.
