Ridiculous staff, I ordered online and when I went for pickup with my wife, Prashant refused to give my order because my licence was expired and then Lars was called to look into matter and he was equally ridiculous. I mean one should be above 18 and I proved with my licence, also I had a age proof card photo ID and even that was refused. I mean if one doesn't have licence and passport does that mean they can't buy drinks. I proved with digital NSW licence copy and all need to be done is verify DOB and photo and not the status of licence and heights not considering age proof card and then aski g my wife's ID to co firm if she have the same last name to have my order. Seriously! I expect a strict action towards staff and I will take it Dan Murphy's headquarters if this is not looked into.

The products scanned at the incorrect price, not uncommon, the cashier pointed out that discounts were applied and I was wrong. She did this twice. We went to the cool room and she realized the price was wrong in the system. They over-rode the price and corrected there error. No apologies, no nothing. This was embarrassing as numerous people and just poor customer service. Sadly not the first time this has happened with the cashier then saying it wasn't her fault it was wrong in the system. While it was wrong in the system, the way u treat customers is your fault. Do better Dan's.

Checkout service poor When my friend and I was at the checkout yesterday and I told the girl at the checkout that we wanted to pay separately for our purchases and we had a members card which I was getting out of my bag, I went to hand it to her and she said ohh to late I have already put it through, i ask her how much was mine to pay and she said I put it all through as one purchase and it's too late to change it now Not a big deal breaker as I could give the money to my friend later. But it was her attitude that really annoyed me.

Had a weird experience today. I was buying a present and wanted to look at the different Jack Daniels available. I wanted to read the labels to help make a decision. The lady said I could not touch the boxes or bottles myself until I had paid for them. She even made a point to take it to the front for me. It was a strange and uncomfortable experience. Especially when the bottle that I was not allowed to touch was $89 and there was Jim Beam bottles for excess of $100 that I was allowed to pick off the shelf myself to read the label.

Always had great Customer Service from all the staff there. But not tonight. When paying for my Wine, I have always had the Cashier ask if I would like a box to put them in and they would kindly do it. Tonight I was served by a lady called Ariana. She scanned the bottles of wine and put them straight back on my Trolley. I asked if I could have a box please and she just put the box on the Trolley. I then asked if she could put the bottles in the box please and her answer was, you just asked for a box...really! How rude!

As a bottle shop, Dan Murphy’s Rouse Hill is great. I felt I needed to leave a review based on the online order I placed as the delivery to my car was awful. It was easy to drive to the pick up location and request delivery of my order to the boot of my car. The clearly unmotivated kid who brought the delivery out, literally threw the three boxes in my car. The case of beer was shaken and a bottle of tonic water broke. I recommend not having it delivered to the car but pick up in store.

Did an online order to deliver within 2 hrs. The driver never delivered the bottle because the person receiving it was 18 years old. I don’t think the driver understands what 18 and over means. Now I tried to get a refund and the robot online wanted to speak to the account holder when I was the account holder. I have now lodged a complaint with PayPal. Please train your drivers properly and the store should have a number to call not chat with a robot. Money doesn’t come from the trees.

My comfort happy place to be! I have been around the suburb for almost 11yrs and loves occassional drinking and its a big surprise that this is my first time in this place. Perhaps the particular brand I am looking for now can only be found in Dan Murphys! I thank that person who introduced me to this particular brand of cider and found a pot of gold instead! They have all the varieties here from my fave shiraz to gin to vodka to tequila to whisky and cider of course!

Everything in the store is well laid out and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I bought three cases of beer which were a good price. There was a lovely Taylors vintage port in the Specials bin which I placed carefully in my trolley. At the checkout a lovely young lady named Anna, according to her name tag, answered my couple of questions and showed this pensioner how to get to my Dan Murphy's card number and pay via my mobile phone. Thank you Anna.

The manager of this place is a complete D!ck. I walked in there and ha said to me "you've got about 90seconds before we close" so I raced to grab a bottle of wine from the chiller only to find it wasn't there, so I asked the guy stocking the shelves to show me where the wine was I found it and raced to the counter with it. Then the manager says "too late can't serve you, it's against the law" what a w@nker!

Wide selection of alcohol including beer, wines, spirits, and has a good collection of Asian alcohol such as sake and soju. Cellared section is a nice place to get wine have been cellared and is now ready to be opened. Huge walk in refrigerator to get ice cold beers. They sell ice too! Now there are 2 car bays for online orders straight to the car boot. Staff are friendly and heaps of parking onsite.

Friendly staff. Great selection with plenty of specials to choose from. Store can be rated 5 stars on cleanliness, but you need to search for someone to really help you with selections. Sweet/ desert wine range must improve for Dan Murphys, otherwise decent place to shop for alcohol. Finding parking on weekends could be a bit of tussle. Everything else is okay.

Very terrible customer service from Jay. We accidentally smashed two of the bottle wine on the way to push the trolley back to our car. The wheel of the trolley is terrible to push. We waited for someone to assist us. He approached to us and said we were lucky enough to get two new bottles instead. Otherwise, we will not get a new bottle for next time.

Most of the staff is friendly but some of them are very discriminating..I respect the rules applied but please make sure that those are followed all the time and by everyone over there..asking for id from a 30 year old adult is very unwise..hopefully will see some sincere minds more there..otherwise happy with the availability of stuff there…thanks

The service here is friendly and they usually have enough of the specials stocked that they don't run out. Clean store, brightly lit with a lot of choice. I only deduct a star for stock management as sometimes they are completely out of stock of popular items and don't have a clear answer/idea about why, or when the stock will come in.

Awful customer assistance interrogated my girlfriend everytime she so much as breathed told her not to "look at the alcohol" because she forgot her ID, even though her Mother was there the whole time and said she would supervise the experience. She was asked for ID 6 seperate times.

I was not allowed to buy any drinks at this place because I have a suspended DRIVERS license, even though I am over 20 years old. Keep in mind I have been to many other Dan Murphy’s and have been to clubs/pubs etc & never had this problem. Absolute joke.

Always have friendly staff willing to assist you with ur purchase(s). Parking is easy, a short walk from car to shop. A huge variety of stock from imported to local. They also have nibblies to purchase along with gift bags.

Hectically busy the day before Christmas. 30 deep in the line to the registers. To the staff's credit, they done very well as they had all the registers open, extra staff in the store and plenty of ice. They done a good job!

Staff are always helpful at this Dan Murphy's, they'll answer whatever question or query you may have! Specials are frequently rotated around in the store, and there are often quite a variety of drinks that are featured.

Great selection but the staff have no idea where products are or recommended items (bar the ones they push #Pinacle) these are usually on the tasting bar. Still a great liquor outlet if you know what you want.

Great selection of all kinds of alcoholic delights, as well as imported soft drinks. Quick and efficient service. Doesn’t have that grubby feel bottle stores sometimes have - it’s kept clean and organized.

Run by immature children refused to serve my 25 year old son and me a 52 year old because he used a suspended licence for ID. Both the manager and the person serving where younger than my son.what a joke.

Easy to shop in-store and online, pick-up at the front bay was contactless and great experience too, cause we received our order without even getting out of car, the staff put the order in the boot!

Ordered online. You can choose to have items brought to your car or go in store. Items were waiting for me on rack, took cashier about a minute to find them after I presented my license

One Stop place for all liquor and wine option, plus whats best it's cheaper compared to competition, Also conveniently located so I can drive-in and drive-out in less than 15 mins.

This is by far the best stocked Dan Murphy's for my taste in "exotic" spirits. It's very out of the way for me, but if you live local the staff are friendly and helpful as always.

This place has an amazing range of all types of alcohol. It is a welcome change from the standard supermarket chain stores. There is always something new and interesting to try.

Large warehouse style bottle shop located at the back of the Etamoggah Pub. I used the car boot delivery and every time the order is correct and staff efficient and friendly.

Their service, particularly if you are unfamiliar with what to buy, is simply proactive and great to watch. If only more stores took a lesson regarding service from here!
