"The park is huge and had something for all types of park goers"
A nice little playground with climbing equipment for the children. Some open space for ball activities, small glider planes, dogs to romp. A pleasant walking track through the bush and shelters with tables and seating for picnickers. Taps, bubblers, rubbish bins and toilet facilities provided. However, only street parking available.
Has some covered areas, no bathrooms, and play equipment that is rather aged and not that well maintained. Lots of open fields nearby and dog friendly areas with dedicated doggy waste disposal bins. The grass is prone to water logging. Except for the fields, the park is generally not well lit.
Darvall Park runs from Eastwood down to West Ryde and can be accessed from Denistone railway station. It features a new playground for younger children, picnic shelters, barbeque facilities and toilets in a lovely setting of mature trees and grass.
Good place to walk around, picnic, bring pets and just have an overall good social time. Grass is albeit slightly muddy but doable for general recreational activities. It's on good sunny days that I stop being a weeb and go touch some grass
The park is huge and had something for all types of park goers. It has good quality okay equipment for children and a good oval with shady areas protected by the dense greenery surrounding it. Will definitely visit often.
Small park, decent play equipment, only one small sports field. Council are not maintaining the playing field well - most of the grass surrounding the field was unmowed. Would rate it better if the upkeep was improved.
Am interesting bush park along a creek. Good use of the limited narrow land available. Picnic facilities and good sized play area, plus cricket pitch and off leash area in the lowest section.
Nice spacious park. Wonderful community/locals. Not fully fenced but other facilities (bins, poop bags and watering station) are great. On leash walking trails behind which is a fun novelty!
Quiet park in natural surroundings. Public toilets nearby park and very clean. The grassy areas should not go in as you could get bitten by jumping jack ants. Very painful.
The morning and afternoon off the leash dog park is amazingly funny! The kids playground is small, but I liked the swings on my own for a little while until a kid came up
It ticks all my boxes. Somewhere for the kids to play, have a barbecue, gather friends and family together or let the dog run off leash in a safe environment.
Awesome park to just relax at, nice field to play around on and the playground is modern and there are things to do, would me a good place for a family picnic
It is spacious park with nice place with dog waste bins and water tap but kinda hard to find and not many people knows and would like it fenced for safety
It is great place to have get together. We were all able to keep the social distance at the same time enjoyed meeting all friends after a long time.
Good for casual walk on rainy days. Evening there are lot of dogs without leash. Beware with kids. Kids play area is pretty average.
Basic play equipment. Relatively clean. Only place to park is on a main road which is hard to get kids in and out of the car
It was a nice scenary with all the public necessity. It will be be good to see it restored back to its original nativity
Cozy neighbourhood park. Downside is the field next to playground is often occupied by dog owners who let them run loose
Nice quiet park with oval, playground and picnic area. Also has a COVID check-in code which is nice for peace of mind.
Great for families and dogs. BBQ areas and playground for kids. Nice little patch of nature within Denistone
Good for a quick walk as a little local park. It would be nice if there are more equipments for kids to play
Great small tracks to walk on the way from West Ryde to Eastwood. Plus some swings and a playground to rest.
Beautiful, shady and secluded park with a nice playarea and dog park. Street parking is limited.
Nice little playground and big open space, bbqs, toilets. Big plus is shade on the playground.
Convenient and peaceful. Great short cut thru to Eastwood. No toilet or picnic facilities.
A decent park for its size, a small playground, and a reasonable amount of grass cover.
Great playground and shaded BBQ area with seats and toilets. Off leash dog area
Quiet park good for eating and chatting. Also has small playground for kids.
