I went to Dean's auto repair and I was extremely impressed with the level or professionalism, service, and knowledge. I first heard about Dean's from my girlfriend who's Dad used to go to deans. I am a cynic and can find fault in everything. When I first I called deans for my Nissan Sentra they were very accommodating that I would be arriving late. They then checked my vehicle and were very honest about what was actually wrong. The transmission was completely shot. They explained that they keep up to date with professional publications and blogs in their industry and remembered reading about an extended warranty on my specific type of transmission. Deans called the dealership and made sure that my transmission was covered under the extension. They then transferred the car for me to the dealership and didn't charge me diagnostics even through they weren't doing the work. Other mechanics I have encountered do not keep up to date on everything in their industry since it is an additional cost. Other mechanics would not have bothered to check the warranty since the standard warranty was clearly over. Most mechanics would have tried to keep that work for themselves so they could profit. The cost for the warranty transmission was $5K and it was completely covered. Dean's went above and beyond in service and professionalism despite the lack of financial gain on their part. Their only request was to spread to work to family and friends if I get a chance. This is true customer service and Deans has earned my loyalty as a lifetime customer for me and my family.

UPDATED REVIEW - After writing a letter to the Better Business Bureau regarding my poor experience with Dean's Auto Repair, I received a phone call from the owner. This was very welcome considering I did not expect to ever hear from them. We spoke for about 15 minutes, and had a very good and productive conversation. He apologized profusely, and offered what I found to be a rather good and reasonable explanation for some of the issues I was having. Of course, and I told him this, had someone taken the extra few minutes to explain them at that time, we wouldn't be having this conversation. He understood. At the end of the day, I was impressed by the honest, concerned response from Mr. McMaster. I believed him when he told me that he appreciated me getting his attention with the BBB letter, and that he was going to be making some changes that would aid in avoiding these kinds of issues in the future. Additionally, he offered me a coupon for a free oil change. I still have not decided if I will use it, but given the owner's stated commitment to improvement, I will likely give them the opportunity to show me that. Previous Post Summary – Owner and employee offer not even a modicum of customer service. A maintenance service was performed on my car without my knowledge or consent. Another service took 1 week to complete without any information provided as to why it took so long. The owner/proprietor was willing to nonchalantly provide a cash refund for a small portion of the service without proper documentation/financial record.

Had my first experience with Dean's auto back in January. Spend just over $400 to get a coolant leak fixed. Everything was great until my car broke down a month later. I popped my hood, only to see the top of the coolant outlet connector they replaced had blown off. I had coolant everywhere. I called Dean's to tell them what happened and they said they would fix their mistake no problem. They replaced the part but when I went to pick up my car, they told me I had a horrible coolant leak. I explained that's what I had gotten fixed back in January. They told me it was going to cost me more money for them to figure out where the leak was coming from. I refused to let them touch my car. I brought it to another mechanic to find out the "leak" was a $2.00 fix. A metal clamp that holds the hose in place was loose. If the mechanics at Dean's can't spot a loose metal hose clamp, I wouldn't trust them with a simple oil change. Before I left Dean's, I asked the manger to write down my number and have the owner call me. I have yet to receive a phone call.

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! I brought my vehicle here because it’s having some major problems. I told them if they can find what is causing the problem and they told me yes they will call me back and let me know what is the source of the problem. About 2-3hours pass I received a call telling me O2 sensor, a hose and another thing needed to be replaced. He said “we should start there.” I told them what do you mean we should start there? Didn’t you check what the problem was? He had no answer. I was then quoted about $400+ to do the job. I declined because the parts would only be costing about $70 all together if I did it myself. It’s only a 5-10minute job if you have the tools to do it. Very easy job anybody could do. Why they would charge over $400 is beyond me. Anyways, I got the parts replaced and it made no difference. I paid money to find the problem now I’m out $116. I would recommend NOBODY to bring their car here. They will overcharge you and not fix your car problems.

I would not recommend this shop to anyone. The main reason is the guy who appears to work the front counter. I was told his name was Joe. He is rude and I got the impression he is dishonest. I took my truck in for a guy who was interested in buying it, to have it inspected. Our arrangement was that I would get a free inspection that he would pay for and he would find out if the truck had any major problems before he bought it. They did not do much of an inspection, but when they were done I asked for a copy of the report. Joe said I could not have one because I did't pay for the inspection. Joe had no idea what our deal was and decided he would make his own rules. Thankfully the shop foreman stepped in and gave me a copy of the report. This Joe guy just seemed to have an attitude for some reason the minute I walked in the door and I have no idea why. I would stay away from this place. I am sure this Joe guy would rip you off if he got a chance.

ALI the owner is a fuse ready to burst. He charged my son twice for a distributor. 12 month warranty. 475. a pop. We came back to show his guarantee. He stated the distributor had oil and the parts people wouldn't return it. He wouldn't give us the refund. The mechanic who's been there and did the job, a few days earlier when I came in for the refund, looked at the invoices and said it shouldn't be a problem. 3 days later. The short fused Ali waving his arms said he wouldn't credit, wouldn't show us the bad part or paper showing the return denial. He lied to us. His red face and demeanor revieled his embarrassment. He told us to leave and not return. Or he would trespass us. We've spent 2600 at his Dean's over the last two years. And this is how Ali the short fused owner treated us. I'm still trying to get my money back. Since September 2023. Next stop small claims court. He's not an honest ALI.

After a lot of researching for auto repair shops, we came upon this little gem of a store. We read great reviews about this place and since it was close to our house we figured we couldn't go wrong. After talking with the owner and the receptionist we knew we were in good hands. They were both such friendly people and we could tell they were genuine. The prices they gave us for repairs were reasonable, and they even gave us a print out of each individual item that needed to be fixed and exactly what they needed to do. They even gave us suggestions on what we could do but didn't need to make a priority. Every time we have taken our vehicles there we are always pleased and want to come back. There is a reason this place has nothing but great reviews. We would recommend this shop to everyone!

A dishonest shop. I took my truck to these guys to work on my carburetor, and instead of telling me they don't work on carburetors and referring me to someone that does, this shop told me the vehicle will be done in 3 days. Though out the whole week I would call Deans auto for updates but they were in the dark about the progress I had to find what shop had my carburetor at the end of the second week I sent a tow truck to deans auto they assured me that was not necessary and the truck was ready in a few hours. I did pick up the truck and they gave me a very questionable passing smog report. The truck blows black smoke and smell rich (dumping to much gas into the motor) deans auto could not fix my truck but was more then happy to take the money with smiles.

I was really impressed by their service they had good communication between me and them and they told me what was the best thing to do in my situation so as a young person I listened. My car was shipped from the phoenix area and drop off to my home mechanic. After he looked at it he said why did you not drive it home there is not a major problem. He did some small adjustments and said he would have driven my car he says its has a good engine does need a oil change an valve cover seals replace not really a whole engine rebuilt. Dean auto shop is a place I would probably take a car for a oil change. But not really sure about that because I needed a oil change and they told me my motor was on its last leg so its hard to really know.

Dean's auto Repair is definitely is a one of the top local shops in the area, before I took my truck into deans auto I went to autozone to scan the OBD2 it came up with p0300,p0102 p0171,p0300, So I stopped into deans auto to see what they can do for me, so they pulled the truck into the bay , as the mechanic named Mike was a very honest man as you could tell he was very calm and Collective so I had faith in deans auto well it was something so simple next day came and picked it up running like brand new.... Recommend Dean's Auto 100%

Two times I have taken my truck here and two times I've left impressed and relieved to have found this place. It is so valuable to me to be have my vehicle repaired and be confident that my mechanic isn't trying to take advantage of me. They get this at Deans. I remember looking around on the internet sceptically at some of the repair shops around me and decided to give Deans a shot after reading a couple of their reviews. So glad that I chose to go with them to repair my truck. I honestly cannot recommend them high enough. Go here!

Yesterday I had my scheduled oil changes scheduled and as always the employees and owner of this shop have been detailed, ask question about the vehicle whereas they can properly evaluate problems. The shop has a couple of phenomenal diagnostic mechanics. They have always been less costly of all quotes from other places and the less costly has never affected quality parts of labor. I have been coming to the mechanics at this shop since 1987 and have no desire to go anywhere else as their reputation is exceptional.

I was having issues with my car starting. I took it to multiple repair shops who could not find the issue with my car and kept charging me inspection fees without giving me any more information. I contacted Deans and brought my car in. They were able to find the issue within a few hours and were able to fix it same day. I highly recommend Deans for whatever issue you are having with your car. They are without a doubt the best body shop I’ve brought my vehicle to.

Will try and take advantage of you!! Quoted $500 for a easy $75 window fix.. went there after I had the issue fixed properly and to ask them why they would try and do that to someone, the owner turned super aggressive and almost attacked me and his front desk buddy (who quoted me the wrong price) held him back as I decided it was best to leave before he turned physical.. absolutely horrible customer service! No professionalism and just over all SCAM!

I CAN’T FULLY EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE!!! I had come off of a terrible experience with mechanics at a dealership who were very dishonest and was hoping that I would find some sincere help with my car’s A/C problem. That’s exactly what I found at this establishment. The prices they quoted were the prices I paid, including recommendations for saving money. The time frame for my car being ready was exactly what they said. Simply amazing. Highly recommended.

I have taken my Camry to Dean's on multiple occassions and I cannot express the relief I feel every time I need a quick service. The last time I went a few days ago, they were able to locate the reasoning for my tire pressure light that kept coming on even when my tire pressure wasn't low in less than a minute and didn't charge me much to fix the problem! I will continue to use you guys for all my service needs moving forward. Thanks again !

I will bring my car back to them and recommend them to friends. Dean's didn't quote low to get me in the door and then pile on additional work and costs like some garages. Dean's provided me a realistic estimate for front brake service and completed the work in a couple of hours. They also provided me quotes of additional preventative maintenance services that I should think about, but weren't pushy about it.

We took our Toyota Prius into Deans to get a head gasket job done. We were quoted about a week turnaround. After about a week we called to get an update but the service writer couldnt tell us anything. Day after day after day of unanswered calls we found out that the car was never even started on. We picked it up after about 2 weeks with nothing done. Thanks for a big waste of our time Deans Auto repair.

Deans is not a mechanic that values "customer care" and would definitely take alot of your money and do absolutely nothing on the car but let it sit in a stall for 2 hours then call and tell you its ready, only to find out that they didnt repair it, they charged $130 for looking at it and they could apply the $130 for looking at it towards the final bill of $500. That is bs in my book

Sorry, but i have noticed maybe a change of Owner or personal, this place just to be packed, now y can caount the cars in the shop every day.Desapointed went there for Service and the Young man at the counter kind of had a attitude and told to request a. Appointment because they cannot take care if my car, when before they would do the imposible have my car seen that very same day.

Dean's Automotive is an AMAZING automotive shop. The guys are all really knowledgeable, fast, and very very fairly priced. You really cannot beat this shop anywhere. We moved from Oregon, and had our normal shop there that we used, and this shop is better than our old one from Oregon. Thanks Dean's for always getting us in an out and back on the road fast and affordably!

My car kept overheating and I dropped it off for an estimate. They were quick and extremely professional. I would definitely recommend them to all of my friends. I appreciate this place very much. They did a good job on the car and kept me updated. The car stayed far longer then needed on our part. But they held on to it for us when they could have had it removed. I'm very grateful. The car runs great. I would recommend to anybody who needs repairs for their vehicle.

This is a solid no bs shop, they do great work for reasonable prices and don't try to sell you something you don't need. I went in for an oil change brakes and shocks, they didn't do the brakes because I didn't need them. Hard to find a shop with that kind of integrity. I highly recommend Gregg and his team.

The best not only service but customer service as well. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner after I went to their shop to fix a flat and he got me in and out very quickly and even gave me a “family discount”. Very down to earth man and excellent service.

There’s a new owner and he’s a thief he stole my computer disabler . took my Chevy truck there for an oil pressure problem . It was there for one month spent $1400 never fixed it and my computer disabler was missing confronted him about it.

Hands down, best shop I've ever taken a vehicle to. Prices are more than fair. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and don't try to nickel and dime you to death. Waiting room is comfortable and clean. Will be continuing service here forever.

Very good mechanics. If you are not car/OBD code literate. It may not be the shop for you. Service manager has lacked integrity with estimates but mechanic addressed actual issues on our last visit. So I still rate them highly.

If you own a 4x4 or offroad vehicle, Deans is the spot. Used to take my rig to the typical "offroad shops" but got too expensive. Deans has been the usual spot for my maintenance and I will continue to come here.
