Really wanted to like the food but we were a bit disappointed with the quality. The chicken cacciatore had no olives, and the ratatouille in the chicken provencal was very minimal - it was mostly just tomato sauce with one or two small zucchini peels and one eggplant piece (nothing like the photo). Also had no olives or capsicum. Both meals had a few large pieces of obviously precooked chicken added to the sauce - some pieces were quite dry, some were cartilaginous. Bite-sized pieces would be much nicer for people sharing meals, and make reheating quicker and easier. Two of the packs had holes/tears so that they leaked while defrosting. Beef cottage pie was ok, but beef mince clearly very cheap and had a grainy texture. Beef bourguignon was good. The chicken saag was not good; there was almost no spinach in it. Lots of salt in all the dishes. Generally, I didn't feel like there was much care put into this food - it feels cheap, even though they have just increased prices. I would guess that starting out the food was great but now, $$$ and quality lacking. Obviously these guys are doing very well and everyone else is happy though - so I guess it just wasn't my cup of tea.

Just great With a food production background and living on the far South Coast NSW I was a little suspicious when weekly home deliveries from Delidoor Sydney were offered direct to my door( we are semi-rural and no Uber Eats down here). Excessive due diligence could find no faults so I gave it a try. Well done Deldoor, great packaging and temperature control, all items true to description with healthy natural ingredients, good portion sizes and eye appeal as well as great taste Lots of choice with new dishes regularly added. Love the simple QR codes to check reheating data and extra tips etc- as I would never have thought to use the sandwich toaster to reheat our garlic naan! Easy to order and track delivery on the day, items stack easily in the freezer on hand when you want them Thanks Delidoor for coming this way and keep up the great effort it is most appreciated

I had tried a couple of the other fresh food delivery services but found them to be quite pedestrian in their menus. Many of the dishes were what I would normally cook and quite costly. Then I came across Delidoor! Being a single person, the frozen food suits me better as I can use it when I want, rather than worrying about it going off. Normally I don't like frozen food but the dishes are amazing! So fresh when defrosted, cooked to perfection and so full of flavour. They are obviously prepared by a very good chef (the fact that's he's French is a bonus!) I chose dishes that I would not normally cook or that are too time consuming and I have never been disappointed. I would highly recommend Delidoor and will continue to buy from their varied menu.

Delidoor are to be congratulated .Just finished all of my first order. So great to enjoy meals delivered with out centimetres of contents showing many numbers and additives .(Still with short expiry dates) Well prepared different and wholesome and innovative as well as generous helpings.Whilst paying a little extra per unit than my current supplier I shared all of them with my wife and reheated some portions as leftovers successfully. The frozen idea means I can always have something available Really appreciated the sustainable packaging and responses to a questions to Jacques a couple of times about re- heating. Good to have personal attention . Looking forward to see what's on the menu next.

I had friends come for lunch. Normally I cook but this was to be an 'easy lunch'. I bought the sausage rolls and sliced them thinly and egg washed them on all sides then served them with chutney. They were a hit. Then we had the Pea and Ham soup. I made a cheesy garlic bread to accompany the soup and it was delicious. So easy!! Main meal was the salmon quiche and I added a green salad just wonderful and light. Dessert was the sticky date pudding and I added vanilla pod ice-cream. What a hit this four course meal was. And, it hit the brief from my lovely friend 'make it easy Kerrie'. Thank you Delidoor I am a first time customer but you will be hearing from me again and again.

Amazing quality - freshness of flavour, best ingredients with no "nasties" like preservatives colours or msg. Food is delivered frozen, most are fully cooked and ready to heat (exception is a small number of marinated chicken and meats. I have not tried these yet). Perfect to keep in the freezer for a "rainy day" when running out of time to shop and cook, midnight meals etc. Or, as gift packs when others are in difficulty (e.g. see the "new parents" boxes). Chicken dishes are especially tender. I have many favourite stand bys like potato gratin, still many new dishes to try, but the authentic cassoulet is absolutely sensational!

What can I say, I discovered delidoor quite by accident but not being much of a cook AND having broke my hip I was at a complete loss as to what to do, as well as having my son come to look after me!! So I ordered some food and ohmegods!! Laaaaaaaaaaa!!!! It’s soooo delish! Even IF the cooking instructions are just a little non existent at times the food more than makes up for it!!! So so yummy, meatballs would probably be the hardest thing to recreate and make taste “home-cooked” but I’m here today to tell you these boys have succeeded! Just so so good, everything! I had a look at the meals provided by delidoor and read a few comments about some of them. I placed an order, not really sure whether the meals I ordered would suit me. I am so pleased with the meals I have had delivered. Each meal which says it is for two people really gives very generous servings and people with big appetites will not go hungry. The mac and cheese is a great stand-by, and the best I have had - including my own cooking. Further, the ease of storing in the freezer, then cooking when wanted makes delidoor a great go to "shop". I shall definitely be ordering from delidoor again.

Delidoor is by far the best meal delivery I’ve used. From their communication to their prices and most importantly their meals, I can’t fault them. So far we’ve had the butter chicken which was delicious. The quiche which my chef husband said was so authentic and tasty. The lasagna, a hit and the Mac and cheese with bacon is SO GOOD! I’ve already got my second order and can’t wait to try the chicken lasagna! Delidoor has made my busy life easier and that alone would have been a win. I have fussy eaters at home who will normally only eat my cooking but they love our Delidoor meals so much that we now rely on Delidoor for at least 2-3 meals a week. The quality is excellent, they taste like home-cooked meals and are not full of additives, and the fact that they are frozen is really handy. I just have a stock of favourites in the freezer and in the time it takes to reheat them I can make a side of veggies. I love cooking, but I’m too busy to cook meals like this every night and Delidoor is a great solution.

I am quite impressed with Délidoor. We've tried one order of several dishes so far. They came still frozen, insulated by a great wool product. Positives have been flavour, inclusion of vegetables, ease of re-heating, something different from what I cook, and of course, not having to start cooking from scratch! Negatives? Some dishes have been a little rich for one, not a favourite for another. But that's to be expected, I believe. I will definitely be ordering more dishes so I can take a "night off" cooking occasionally!

I always worry whether something I've ordered on-line is going to live up to expectations. However, in this case I'm happy to say expectations were exceeded. My delivery arrived on time and the meals we have tried so far have been delicious . Unlike some pre-packaged meals, the portion sizes are very good. Delidoor provides delicious home delivered meals that are simple to prepare. I especially love that cooking temperatures are often linked making oven time economical. Great food, with simplicity of preparation! My wife and I are in our late 70's and had previously tried 2 other meal delivery merchants, but since changing to Delidoor, we are once again enjoying our meals. They have a wide variety of cuisines, and because the food arrives frozen, the meals will last a long time. The portions are large, so that we can occasionally get 2 meals out of one serve. I normally have no interest in buying meal packages but the thought of French food and also Greek and Italian food was too tempting to pass by. I am so thrilled with this beautiful food, the flavours are just superb and the freshness and quality is so apparent. I feel like I am eating in a French restaurant. The meat dishes are all so tender and the tarts are so creamy. It has taken all the pressure away about what to have for dinner tonight. Loving it!

I can no longer do much cooking and Delidoor was recommended to me by my DIL. I’m very fussy because I loved to cook but their food is incredible. Ordering is easy and delivery spot on. Umami flavours are great and we’ve enjoyed every meal. I no longer miss cooking or cleaning because dinner is now simple, so enjoyable with such little mess. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Delidoor has been a godsend during out kitchen renovation. They have a fabulous menu, and send delicious meals, many suited to our convection microwave, at convenient times. It's such a relief that we haven't had to live on take-aways. So far we've sampled about ten different dishes, and would re-order any of them. Fabulous lamb shanks last night and Chicken Chasseur tonight! We're always going to keep a couple of these in the freezer now!

I have tended to avoid the ready made meals delivery services but I took a chance on Delidoor when I saw the the types of meals they offered were quite different from the standard ones. We have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals and the the customer support and communication. Meals are decent sizes (especially some of the family ones) and of uniformly good quality - some have been outstanding. Highly recommended.

Everything we ordered from Delidoor was terrific; we ordered a range of dishes from French to Thai and were so impressed with the delivery, the packing and most importantly the quality of the food. The Thai chicken curry was way better than many we've had in Thai restaurants and the bolognese sauce was a huge hit in a lasagne. We were recovering from illness and I didn't have the energy to cook, so Delidoor was a godsend. Thankyou!

Delidoor came to me recommended by a family member. I thought they were based only in Sydney so was very glad to find they delivered across the state. Meals were delivered on time (I had a wide choice of delivery times) and were delicious. The authentic bouillabaisse was delicious and so easy to prepare. The duck and chicken are generous serves and very tasty. The confit and bouillabaisse reminded me of great meals in France.

I ordered many meals from Délidoor and found them to be of excellent quality, especially the French dishes: Beef Bourguignon, Chicken Chasseur, for example. These are rich and full of flavour. Jacques and Mathieu are good and responsive communicators. I appreciate the fact that Mathieu made special effort to pick up the wool pack packaging to reduce waste at my request. I have no hesitation in recommend this business.

We have been taking advantage of Delidor for a few weeks now. Their meals are delicious. Home-Style cooking that only needs a quick heat in a pan or oven. Tasty, any the right amount for two and sometimes a little left over for the next day also, especially if you add some pasta, rice and greens to end with a well balanced diet overall. I am on my 3rd order with Delidor! I have had quite a few different dishes and I just love there desserts. The Chocolate Raspberry Mousse, Chocolate Fondant and Chocolate Molleux is to die for. The Croque Monsieur is very tasty. The service is wonderful and I love how the packaging is environmentally friendly. There is such a variety of dishes to choose from. I ordered my first lot of meals last week and was blown away by not only the convenience of the ready cooked meals but they were all so delicious! Was very affordable too which was another bonus and all delivered to the door. I’ve ordered this weeks and will be ordering every week. Meals are a very generous serve too. Usually there are pros and cons but all pros in this case. Very happy camper!

We have ordered from Delidoor twice now with another one due next week. So far we have not had a meal we haven't liked they have all been very nutritious and well presented and very flavoursome. I ordered Shepherds pie, the vegetarian lasagna and lasagna for our Father’s Day lunch. Everything was amazing! They all tasted great and most of all like I had made them myself. Rich flavours and easy to heat and serve. Everyone loved them. I also loved the wool packing it comes in to keep it cold, very eco friendly and I was able to compost it. Would definitely order again!

Delidoor is home cooked delicious, wholesome, family meals. It’s so helpful when I am short of time and I still want to make sure the family is eating good food with substance! We love it and hope they continue to expand their range of already delicious options! The cheese and ham crepes with bechamel sauce are our favourite, we weren’t expecting much but they are delicious!

Top quality food! We enjoyed every dish. Our favourites were spanakopita, lentil shepherd's pie, beef cottage pie, beef stew, fish cakes, and sticky date pudding. Very easy-to-follow cooking/reheating instructions online. Made our family Christmas meal prep easy. Delivery on Christmas eve morning was spot on. Very well packaged, with environmentally friendly packaging.

Delidoor is fantastic, we've ordered a few times now. Delicious French and European classics delivered straight to your door. Our fave is the Soup De Poisson which reminds us of our time in Nice. I first tried these meals to have in the freezer for when our new baby arrived. It's been so great to have amazing home cooked meals on hand without cooking every night. Delicious and great range. Much nicer from frozen vs. a lot of the plastic packaged meal delivery services - often full of preservatives and quite frankly gross. Wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Brilliant food, the hardest part is choosing what to eat that week! Highly recommend to anyone who is short on time or just hates cooking (like me). Ordered a big Christmas feast. Delivery was perfect - on time with regular updates. Instructions to reheat were simple and the food was absolutely delicious. Even the vegetarian meals were amazing. Compared to the Neil Perry Christmas meal I ordered last year, this was infinitely better. I will definitely be purchasing more meals in the future.

Here’s an option to get quality frozen meals for those nights when you are time poor. The curries are always great! Make your own rice and you’ve got a meal. Or you can order sides too. Anything with beef in it has big chunks of melt in you mouth soft meat. I also love the pre-marinated but raw portions of chicken -chimichurri is our favourite.

Absolutely loved the meals I had until now. The French dishes bring me back to places I visited, the Indian dishes are very tasty and authentic as well. I love the frozen meals; you can order in advance for months to come and eat them when you feel like it. Worth a try if you are looking for excellent ready made meals for reasonable prizes.

We have tried nearly all the Fresh-Home delivery meal providers and Delidoor is, hands-down, the best of all of them. All the meals manage to have 'home-made' flavours and taste, making them the best value in this space. We even did Delidoor for Christmas - was 5 Star for taste and convenience (no shopping crowds). Food came nicely packaged. Food seemed not as good value as Dinner Ladies. The moussaka was chewy eggplant and the mince was salty. Won’t be returning but appreciated the call from the owner who sought to stand up for his business hence why the change to this review re value. At least the owner cares and has passion for his mission.

We've been using Delidoor consistently for a few months now, and the quality of food has always been exceptional. We love their home-cooked style cuisine. Although we had some problems with their delivery partner in Brisbane, the Delidoor founder Mathieu is easy to get on to and incredibly generous and helpful in resolving matters.

Delidoor is the best home delivery food company in Australia. Their food is delicious. Fresh ingredients and great value for money. The range of meals is amazing. From home style French to Indian, Balinese, Thai, Australian and many more delicious meals. There is a large vegetarian selection available. The deserts are also divine.

Delicious high-quality food, reliable and prompt delivery, and makes weeknight meals fuss-free. Our favourite dishes are the chicken meatballs, lamb rump with gratin, thai green curry. Wish the menu rotated more, but that's a tiny gripe. Love the VIP treat that comes with the box (last one was a brownie which I devoured quietly).

Without being overly-effusive, I have tried many outlets that provide prepared pre-cooked meals. None inspired. Délidoor has proved to be exceptional. Have tried many meals in two orders, in two weeks, so far (there will be many more) and none disappointed. I wouldn’t normally give a ten out of ten for any service, but I do.

Fantastic flavours and great quality food. Unlike fresh packaged meals I don't have to worry about food waste because it's delivered frozen. Unlike other frozen meals their dishes come out looking like fresh cooked ones without the water separating from the food.

Hi I've used delidoor now a few times. The product is excellent. You only have to cook and add anything you like to a dish that is only protein. I have not found any dish not to a great standard

I had high hopes The chicken dishes sauces were tasty but the amount of skin and chewy sinewy bits was awful I had to separate the palatable meat from chewy. Gross Really disappointed.
