Came here for a Shrek Rave event and overall it was great music, atmosphere but the bar service downstairs however was unfortunately disappointing. I asked for 3 drinks, she confirmed my order, thought I paid for all 3 but received 2. I asked if the third was on its way before she moved onto the next person waiting and she asked what I ordered and I told her and she outright rudely said “You didn’t order that.” Was kinda taken back and confused by her response so I reconfirmed with her that I did and then she abruptly started making it in a huff. Even when I apologised for something that wasn’t really my fault she ignored me. It was of course possibly a miscommunication but since she confirmed it with me first I thought it was fine. I just feel there is a better approach to it all because there was no apology for the miscommunication. I can understand if you were under the pump with customers across the bar but it was the start of the night and it wasn’t even busy yet. The front staff however were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The venue it self is great for all types of events.

I went there during a board games event. They offered the cheapest and most watery beer, wine and cocktails ever. Not only that, but the staff members were not helpful and the waiter was obviously having s favorite table where he would deliver things first and then the others. So badly organised and run. I'm only giving 2 starts because the venue is big and has different areas. EDIT: the owner contacted me privately with lots of petty excuses. We were only allowed to stayed longer because we were buying stuffs outside of what the menu offered. The beer that was served was so bad we had to return it. I have photos of our table with the glasses still full. All the cocktails were watery and we would ask for something and something completely different had been delivered to our table. We asked for Expresso Martini and it took them 2 hours to bring it to the table. And the worst was the waiter flirting with another table. So unprofessional. You can clearly see that the events for board games is just a trick and everything they give you (alcohol wise) is cheap. I'm changing my rate to 1 star now.

Super cool venue, went to the emo night. Great drink specials all night, plus lots of different areas to hang out in. A basement, main area and rooftop, with many areas between. My favourite area was the upstairs rooftop - even when really busy it still felt like you could chat and hang out with people here. Some areas were a bit loud / packed but I can see why it gets a lot of people! This did lead to long lines for the bar, but it's to be expected. The toilets also got really messy too. Maybe some cleaning during the night would be good - got messier than a lot of dive bars I go to. Overall would recommend, particularly their emo night - heaps of good tunes and vibes all night. Plus a cute flower wall for photos!!! Wasn't able to get pictures of the outside or inside - but it used to be a Chinese restaurant and is strewed with the same decor as it was when it was a restaurant - adds a lot of character to the place.

Me and a friend went for the first time last week and my friend got cut off at the bar. Apparently a couple of vodka cranberries sets off alarm bells. So if you plan to just sit on the couch in the corner and chill with ya mates over some drinks, its not gonna happen here. 2 minutes earlier me and my friend were capable of noticing a missing wallet next to us on the couch, holding onto it and locating the person who lost it when they showed up 5 minutes later on the dancefloor still unaware...that shows you we have had too many drinks I guess lol. Not coming back, it's a shame because Queens Park is just down the road and is my favorite place to visit. Go there instead and it costs nothing.

Went to my sisters birthday last night and had a really great night at Deluxe, Jessica and staff was really polite and accomodating- thank you for everything. The food came out quickly and was really nice! Perfect place to have a birthday at or to enjoy a day in night out with friends. Highly recommended. I'm looking at the recent reviews of 1 star and can see people taking things too personal, not good to see as the hospitality industry has a shortage of workers and are trying their best especially during these difficult times post covid. "SHAME ON YOU" and probably consider your plans before going out and putting bad reviews on bars who trying their best to make you sure you have the best night!

Sometimes come to emo night just for the vibe(where else does emo nights these days argh) but recently purchased a signature drink and the girl used a rail vodka. I don’t pay $22 for watered down 22% divas for you to call it “signature”. Seeing that changed my feel for this place(how many drinks had I bought I didn’t see get made with that..?!), don’t think I’ll be coming back anywhere near as often and will definitely be on the lookout for cost cutting bartenders when my drinks being made here. Foods all pretty average heated frozen stuff also. Oh and the crane game here is absolutely rigged($50+ down bad abysmally)

I originally rated this bar as 5 stars, unfortunately I'm editing my review due to the treatment by the door security. My partner didnt hear one security tell him he wasn't allowed glass in a certain section so security number 2 decides to verbally abuse him and force him to apologise when he genuinely had no idea what he did wrong, he even threatened to kick him out because he was disrespectful ... the only thing he did 'disrespectful' was not being able to hear. Simply telling him would have been more than sufficient. Think the power might have got to old mates head. What a joke! Door security Friday 22nd January.

Went for 00s night - amazing 10/10 definitely going again. Perfect vibes for a singalong & a fun night out. Love a free photobooth. I'm in my mid/later 20s and it didn't feel like a club for babies, everyone seemed to be getting around the theme and just generally good vibes. Only downside would be drink options which I think are a bit on the 18-year-old-first-time-out-legally vibe. Don't get me wrong I love a WP shot as much as the next gal but would be nice to have specials on things like basics or some more normal type cocktails/mized drinks (idk about midori or malibu as the staple mixers but they ain't it).

Our experience is not good here, some staff are rude & discriminating, The photographer & the one who handle your instagram account are very unrespectful they kept on taking pictures without permission & they are very aggressive & instead of working they kept on flirting to customers. Unprofessional & rude, i will never ever recommend this place. Worst experience ever, It’s crowded & the place it’s messy.Get rid of your photographer & the one who handle your ig account they are rude & unrespectful plus they kept on invading stop taking pictures without permission.

DO NOT DO THE DRINKS PACKAGE. A total waste of money. Cocktails have no alcohol, beer is not what is advertised. They only serve their generic brand beer which tastes like sugar, a poorly made home brew. The girl behind the bar served me a “Carlton draught” it certainly was not. When I questioned the bar staff they got sheepish and pretended the beer must be off. A disgusting establishment trying to rip people off. Avoid at all costs, they don’t deserve your money.

Attended a event here last week, unfortunately during the event I had lost my phone. Luckily it was found and handed in to the front. Management had taken care of it and stored it in a safe place until I returned to pick it up a week on. Which was great. Other than that I had a great night, good vibes and drinks. Great place for birthday celebration or just catch up with friends. Had my partners 30th in the main room downstairs and everything turned out exactly how we planned. Team at Deluxe were extremely helpful in organising and food was amazing. Most recently my own birthday celebrated at the rooftop bar. Again amazing food and great bottomless cocktails. Highly recommend and will go back.

Went here for the $10 lunchtime parma special. The venue is a pretty basic covered rooftop with heaters and plenty of seating. The parma’s were a bit soggy but otherwise a decent size and flavour. The salad could have done with a bit more dressing and the chips were pretty stock standard. All up it was a decent meal for $10 but would probably not come back and pay full price.

Came in on Saturday and had the hottest and nicest bartender served me, didn’t quite catch his name but I think it was Andre. He was really friendly and helped me and my mates with our drinks. I kept coming back and wanted to give him a tip but he refused since they couldn’t take tips from eftpos machine but really a great experience!

After tonight I will say the bar staff was awesome but closing well early an head crowd control was like there male toilets foul as an very disrespectful with no care what so ever an being there on other occasions only looking for for fights with paying customers if could give 0 stars would an will never go there again

Fantastic venue. Hosted multiple events here including a 30th. The venue went above and beyond to support us throughout the night and in the lead up especially during the pandemic. The staff were helpful and the pricing was well worth it. I will definitely be booking with Deluxe again in the future

I visited for special day, party of Chile, in general is a good place it was three level, the problem is that close one level early. And the zone of food didn’t have coordination. The music is the best part.

My friends and i had such a lovely experience at bottomless cocktails this thursday night. Alex in particular went above and beyond our expectations and made our night so enjoyable!! This was personally my first time at deluxe and won’t be my last thanks to Alex and this experience

Love Deluxe bar. The staff are so friendly, the pizza is delicious, the drinks aren’t too bad and are excellent priced when they have happy hour or special events. We recently attended an Emo night and the bottomless alcohol event and it was so much fun! We will be back :)

Been there a few times. The rooftop is fantastic, great atmosphere and ok food, downstairs music and dance area is pretty good, however the floor is so sticky that if you stand in the same spot too long you actually stick to it. It is in desperate need of a clean.

I went in there and had a good time and the staff that were serving me wasn't very nice because I went to get my stuff and I realised that I had to show them my ticket.for the cloak room. so I hate to say this but the service was poor at the front desk

We had an amazing night celebrating my birthday at Deluxe. Danny was incredibly helpful and delivered on his promises. Everything was spot on. We are really happy with how everything went. The DJ was amazing too! Highly recommend for private functions

Came here for bottomless cocktails and they did not dissappoint! All the staff were super friendly. Don (the bartender) made amazing espresso martinis. Great value for money. Highly recommend. Diana, Hugh and Riley all offered amazing service also!

Wonderful night out with awesome 70's, 80's and 90's music to kick your heels off and dance the night away. Great staff, very friendly and great service. Definitely a place to go if you love music and dancing. Three levels of entertainment.

Cool venue on a different side of town than I'm used to. The rooftop bar is great. The band room is a decent size with a good sized stage. The taps in the men's toilet downstairs are broken and spray horizontally so be careful!

Went to emo night here and it was a great time. My only complaint would be that the queues for the bars got a bit out of hand, so there was a super long wait time for drinks.

The roof top bar is great. The inside area is horrid and I was super drunk. It's the only time I go there.

The venue was great, the security guard with the beard on saturday night was the best. Made us all laugh.
