"Went in to fill my husband's heart medication prescription"
"I was treated like scum, because I wanted to return some items after being advised my a medical professional not to take them"
"Don't ever go to this pharmacy!!! 1st time I arrive there with a kid who has a fever, they tell me to go downstairs (baby started to cry of course, so the decided to help, nice), and while one woman went to take a medicine, the other starts to advertise a tooth gel!!! What? Do you really think it is an appropriate time to make ads??? 2nd time I didn't have other options, was late at night and this pharmacy was open, so i came buy to check for the antibiotics for the kid"
"If you’re Arab! Don’t go here because they judge you and how you look before serving you"
"Tried to take my photo there, but the printer wasn't really working"
Went in to fill my husband's heart medication prescription. Was given the 4 boxes of medication and upon opening them at home, my husband realised that 2 boxes were for one dosage (mg) and the other 2 boxes were for double the stated dosage! Took the boxes back to the pharmacy where the pharmacist said, "oh, my mistake" and then quickly changed the boxes. An off-handed "sorry" was mentioned and that's it. Second visit, I went in to fill my prescription and was given the box of medication which had no label placed on it all. As I was suffering from a terrible cold I didn't realise at the time but when I got home I couldn't remember what dosage the doctor had said to take and as the box didn't have the directions for use label, I was unable to take the medication. Also, don't bother getting your passport/visa photos taken there. Got them done recently there and the photos turned out an odd dark brownish colour with half the person's face in an orange colour. I mentioned to the staff that these may not be accepted by the consulate and she said, oh they'll be fine. Well, they were not accepted by the consulate and rejected so I had to go get more photos taken at another place. Waste of money. The customer service I receive from this pharmacy is pathetic. As inconvenient as it is for me to walk to another pharmacy, I will gladly do that in order to not give this useless pharmacy any more business.
I was treated like scum, because I wanted to return some items after being advised my a medical professional not to take them. This was due to having an on going health problem. The items were unopened, I had both my receipts and it had only been two days since I purchased them. I was told that only the Pharmacist could issue a refund and proceeded to speak with him about it. He refused my refund and would only issue a credit note, but this was not my issue. He was incredibly rude to me and made me feel very uncomfortable with how he spoke to me. When I explained the situation, that I couldn't take them, his reply was :he wasn't forcing me to take them, and that they weren't poison, so he wouldn't give me my money back. Most of the time he didn't even do me the courtesy of looking at me whilst he spoke. He was very unreasonable and informed me that he didn't have to give me a reason for not issuing a refund. He even confiscated my receipts. Apparently there was no one else that I could speak to and so I left on the verge of tears from being treated so appallingly. I also left behind the items in question as they were of no good to me. I will never use this pharmacy again and am disgusted that the NHS would allow patients to be treated in this manner.
Don't ever go to this pharmacy!!! 2nd time I didn't have other options, was late at night and this pharmacy was open, so i came buy to check for the antibiotics for the kid. They wanted to charge me money for that (the reason was that I come from Germany, but the Safeer Pharmacy and the Boots Pharmacy did it for free for me anyways, just asked for the hotel address). And for the copy of prescription (needed it for the airport) extra 40p (again others did it for free without extra questions). To my luck Safeer Pharmacy down the street was open as well. So conclusion: they are rude, ruthless and try to make money on everybody.
If you’re Arab! Don’t go here because they judge you and how you look before serving you. Went here today, firstly the lady downstairs was so rude to me. The ladies upstairs were helpful however the team downstairs were so rude. Not only did she give me a bad look as I walked downstairs, she didn’t even listen to my requests and was very dismissive and began rushing me as I speak by finishing off my sentences. I’m guessing it was her manager (male) because he was trying to speak to her when she was dismissing me but she still was very rude. So disappointed because all my friends recommended this pharmacy to me but it’s not worth your money! Overall, if you are Arab don’t go there. This was on a Sunday at 15:15.
Tried to take my photo there, but the printer wasn't really working. It took a whole 20 minutes to get the passport photos printed . Things like this happen. I was promised a certain price before, but I had to pay 3 pounds more after that. They didn't give me the promised amount of photos since the printer was acting up, but instead of decreasing the price they increased it because it was unusual size, without telling me that. Trying to argue with them didn't go anywhere. The picture was extremely mediocre. To top that off, its a pharmacy and half the staff was running around without mask or with an improperly positioned one.
I went there to buy a product I use regularly as advised by my specialist. The chemist strongly pushed me to buy another more expensive product, making me feel guilty about giving chemicals to my baby (I’m breastfeeding). The product in question is advertised as a juice for diabetics - which I am not, and does not treat my condition specifically. Also, the product I am taking is completely safe for breastfeeding. I understand they have to sell some stuff but when a customer is asking for something specific, don’t sell them something that won’t help. Totally wont recommend this place!!
A MASSIVE thank you to the pharmacists that were working on Saturday evening. The lady by the name of Mary and her colleague (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) went above and beyond to help me. I was struck down with tonsillitis and they were about to prescribe me some medication to help out as I am travelling from overseas. I explained my situation and they did everything they could to assist. I cannot commend their service enough and I am so grateful they were able to help me!
I purchased a few things and 2 of them were double scanned and then the lady hit a key on the keyboard so i thought possibly she removed the double scanned item, but wanted to check the receipt because i was curious. Anyways after paying the receipt was not itemized it was just a total. I have never seen a receipt not be itemised before and im quite sure they double charged me for 2 of the several items i purchased that day. Be careful here.
I was given the wrong medicine from the staff. It was in a bag together with other meds so I only realised once I got home. I emailed the manager who apologised and promised to talk to her. I think pharmacies should either have trained pharmacist behind the counter or just make sure their staff go through sufficient training. This person wasn’t even sure what I had asked for at the beginning, she had to ask the pharmacist.
Those guys are dangerous. I went on Tuesday with a nail infection and was five some homeopathic medicine by the lady working there with the comment that it would be fine after a day or two. That made me not to go to see a doctor. 3 days after my finger is a lot worse and hurts so much with a purple colour on it. Stay away from them
This is a family run business. It is the best customer service that I have experienced in London. The pharmacist is extremely competent and helpful. Anything you need to order she will get for you. Even if you are visiting from out of town they would find a way to get your medicine to you. I would recommend very highly.
The pharmacy is very good with long hours open so you can visit it after work even if working late. The staff are very nice and supportive. It was straightforward and I did not have to wait. It is very easy to locate. My experience was very encouraging and I happily recommend this pharmacy.
Got ripped off here. Got 2 passport photos and was charging me for 6. When enquiried why 6 is same as 2 and the staff were unhelpful and was asked to speak to the pharmacist. He turned out to be damn right rude. Definitely avoid such places who have no respect or regard for customers.
This is my main pharmacy. I'm always happy with the service and the staff are always welcoming and helpful. The pharmacists are extremely knowledgeable and can help with any problems. Its a brilliant family run business and its continually improved throughout the years.
Good place to buy medical supplies, medicines and makeup. They have a variety of collection. I would have given 5 stars but I felt that the stuff were not quite friendly. Nonetheless the place is good for what it sells and it is very close to Paddington Station.
The lady working on te 26th May at 13:10h it is extremely rude. I went there for passport pictures and she rather prefer throwing the pictures that printed extra rather than gave them to me for 12’99. She printed more by mistake and wanted
I had to get some item today in emergency, and this pharmacy was the only one who had it, as Boots and others in West London had run out of it. Ladies in store were very nice and helpful with my purchase, saving the day. Many thanks
So I was travelling and due to an emergency I needed some medicine asap. I went to all the pharmacies I could find trying to get some emphatic soul who would help me regarding me being from abroad. Nobody offer me any help until I
Capable staff who gave me the medicine I needed. Fellow tourists, the pharmacy is downstairs, it is legit, so don't listen to the voice in your head (that sounds suspiciously like your mom) that days you're gonna get abducted.
Awful customer service, echoing other reviews, exploiting that no dispensing pharmacy (no counter at nearby Superdrug) in the area. Go to Meacher, Higgins & Thomas pharmacy in nearby Crawford Street, who are very helpful.
Couldn’t collect my prescription because their opening hours aren’t accurate on the website. Travelled 45 mins there and then told pharmacist is having lunch, come back in an hour. Couldn’t wait that long because of work.
Very shameless owner who gets in your face and tries to sell quack products (salt solution spray for 20£ as a nasal decongestant, LOL). I will find another pharmacy down the road next time!
I went into the pharmacy to find a particular product not available elsewhere. Very friendly staff, particularly Gabriela you made a gloomy morning bright. Thank you
Had to pick up late evening emergency prescription from on call GP. Everything was ready for me to collect when I arrived, they were very helpful and efficient.
Slow, arrogant and rude staff who try to sell you quack medicines. They also don't accept card payments for under £5. Go to the superdrug down the road instead.
Simply put double the price in comparison to Boots ! As usual rip of Edgware Road chemists ! Stay away unless you really need too
Happy they open late as I forgot to pick up what I needed during the day. The man was quick an efficient. Made me feel welcome
Im from aboroad , im on regular medication , shame i have forgotton it back home , this pharmacy saved me . SUPER HAPPY
Excellent customer service experience- I got all the medications and advice I needed! Thanks Devonshire team …
The customer service here is absolutely disgraceful as the staff are very rude, especially the owner Pharmacist.
Great pharmacy - everyone was really friendly, helpfull and professional. I would really recommend this place.
Very basic help, don't expect any special care here unless you're buying expensive cosmetics and vitamins
Absolutely amazing staff. They always take the time to explain things to you and are very helpful.
Low availability of medicines only there to make money should not even be called a pharmacy
The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and provided me with everything I needed.
Its not open at 8:30, i walked for 30 min and got there at 8:40 and it was closed
Gabriela is a good customer service advisor..she is very polite and diligent.
Down right rude and unhelpful, staff clearly fighting with each other too
