I'm very conflicted. I've actually waited a week to write this review because of our experience. For those of you not wanting to read...THE FOOD IS INCREDIBLE. Okay with that out of the way. Here is how it went down. We came at 1:30 in the afternoon on a weekday. Hoping for a quick meal before going on a boat cruise at 3pm. We missed the boat entirely and didn't leave until almost 4pm. Let's get the atmosphere out of the way. Pleasant, hustling and busy. Popular spot with lots of servers running around (good). Fish on the wall and a nautical vibe. The hostess who welcomed us might have been in training but was flustered by people in front of us because they were trying to sit outside but then couldn't decide about inside. So it took a while to get to us; who just wanted to eat inside. A second server helped her out and was very nice. Our actually server was quick and had water at the table the VERY second we sat down. No need to ask. We liked that. They also had a high chair for our little guy. We put our order in pretty quick and my app of oysters came out quick. They were great, nothing special compared to some but fresh with nice accoutrements. Then....we waited....and waited. Way over an hour for our food. Our server let us know they were delayed but no real timing other than "soon" and no explanation. An explanation would have been helpful to appease us. We went to change our little ones diaper and on the way up heard servers talking wondering where we went. I should mention at this point the server apologized profusely (still with no explanation) but offered a massive discount on our meal. Nice, but we just wanted food! We sat down and the food still hadn't come. I took my little guy outside for a walk and after another 15 or so minutes the food finally came. The kids meal was cold. Lukewarm fish and cold fries. The fish was good but still sad that it was cold. Probably ready for a while which they could have at least brought out for our little guy. My food and my wife's (lobster roll and fish cakes) were wonderful. Good temperature and super dooper scrumptious. At this point we were told our meal was fully comped (we didn't have any drinks but water). We still offered to pay/tip but they wouldn't accept. So that's our experience. What i have for advice is just to be honest and let people know if there was an issue or mistake. It helps in understanding and we would have still paid and maybe tipped.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER TERRIBLE FOOD SERVICE IS SO POOR THE PLACE IS RUN BY TEENAGERS ordered two lobster roll meals, requesting simple prep with just butter. Food came out not as requested and wasn’t addressed. After finally flagging down the waiter he said sorry, forgot to tell you, the kitchen cannot accommodate your request. The kitchen refused to provide melted butter, stating that they don’t have a microwave. $40 for cold lobster with onions and lettuce on a hot dog roll. Server refused our request 3 times. We politely explained that if we had known they did not have butter we would have ordered something different, but the menu stated it came with butter. Was completely ignored by management. Finally was offered a replacement meal - so we split a club sandwich. We were told the sandwich would take 15 mins. It was even worse than the lobster rolls. Their club sandwich consists of blackened chicken, bacon, pickles, and most disgusting cole slaw you’ll ever had. Couldn’t finish that either. Finally, the white sangria is just cheap wine with strawberries, sure to leave you with a killer afternoon headache, especially considering you’ll be drinking on an empty stomach because the food is so terrible. Even without paying for the lobster dishes the bill was $110. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

After seeing hr review I was expecting a hight quality food. Will start with the positive: the place looks great and located on a busy corner next to the river. The service was great . The prices were a bit on the higher end I end. The fish and ships costed 24$ , tuna stake 35$ and the portions were small. We started with fish cake looked great but tasted like nothing, no salt no spices. The fish and ships and fish and shrimps the fries tasted great the fish was ok but small portions and the shrimp tasted great. The salad was very tasty and the tartar sauce was very tasty too.

Overall, a fairly pleasant dining experience with an eclectic dinner menu. The classic calamari is however less then impressive as the rings are both thinly cut and heavily breaded/ battered, I would have rather seen a grilled option to insert some freshness to a fairly heavy feeling appetizer menu offering . The oysters were very fresh and served with yummy sauces and fresh horseradish. The fish tacos were tasty but as with the calamari, the breading on the fish was thick and greasy. The ceviche was excellent in flavour but lacked in the portion size of fresh fish to justify the overall price per plate. As with many restaurants during Covid, Dianne’s has had at to adapt to the increasing demand for patio dining. Unfortunately, the make shift patio extension across the road ( and occupying parking spaces) leaves more to be desired from the overall experience. As it was starting to rain… we were not given the option to seek shelter at another table.

Had high hopes after reading the reviews but was disappointed. The choice of restaurant was between this or Casa Domenico. My deciding factor ended up being the dessert. When it was time to order the dessert I was told they had none left. I was so bummed out. The calamari were tiny rings that just tasted like oil. They were so skinny the fork wouldn’t poke through. Hubby ordered the fish n chips and I ordered the sesame crusted tuna. We switched meals because I didn’t like mine. I wouldn’t recommend the tuna dish it was bland. The fish n chips were just ok again tasted very oily I immediately felt my acid reflux. The coleslaw did not look appetizing it wasn’t the greatest either and fries were mediocre. The fish tacos were good. I wouldn’t return. Our waiter was nice and the location was good hence the 2 stars.

My partner and I had an excellent experience here. Magnolia was our server and she was very helpful, personable and attentive throughout our time at Dianne's. The fish chowder was creamy and was a nice surprise. The summer salad was abundant and tasty. For those looking to stop by, I'd recommend showing up early or booking a table. We arrived around 6 pm and they only had a 1 table available. We sat on the patio and, while it was chilly, our server gave me a blanket. I was also lucky enough to be seated near a patio heater. The only thing I would ask the restaurant to improve is the quality of their to-go boxes. They were poorly assembled and quickly fell apart even before we left the restaurant. We asked for a second one that barely held our leftovers inside but had to suffice.

This place got barely a star. Host was pleasant and walked us to our table and left our menus. My son moved a wine glass out of the way and noticed it was dirty. I looked at mine, the same and looked over at the other tables and found that all the tables were set with dirty, still wet from the dish/glass washer. None of the glassware was polished. It was then that I didn't want to stay to see how the drinks and food would cone out like. I've been in hospitality for a long time and would never had opened the doors without the tables set properly. I just don't understand how the glasses got on the tables without a wipe. So disappointing to go some place for a specific type of food and be let down like this. I've heard others speak of of disappointing visits to this and other establishments. So with all that and probably more to be added I can't rate.

  • David Wiseman

I can't recall the last time I've return a dish but unfortunately I returned the fish and chips here. Main reason was the fish was uncomfortably salty on the tongue. Secondarily the fries where frozen or at least they weren't hand cut which is sort of an expectation. Also I wasn't a fan of the "beer batter" execution. The appearance and texture of the batter was more like that of frozen but the manager assured me this was hand dipped. Having said that the fish itself was quality. Continuing on in the positive note, the Tuna Tostada was very nice. My GF's Pan seared pickeral was nice. The classic seafood restaurant bun was a nice touch. My fall back mussels in coconut curry broth were also nice. McKinnon Bros on tap! Staff / service was great. You can tell it's a well run establishment. Jury still out on whether or not I'd return.

I ordered the fish and shrimp combo meal while my husband ordered the 2-piece fish meal. It was reasonably priced and very good. The crispy breading was perfect. The breaded shrimp was probably the best I’ve had; juicy and tender with a great flavor. The fries were decent. Tartar sauce and cocktail sauce both had excellent taste and consistency. I also really liked the flavor of the coleslaw. The restaurant was cute with nice decor; they have indoor and outdoor seating. Our waitress, Emma, and our host, Sam, were both very friendly and professional. We enjoyed chatting with them. Despite the busy night, the restaurant and the bathroom were clean.

Disappointing. The service was fine, but the food was not. Partner had the pasta. Sauce tasted like it was from a jar off a supermarket shelf. I had the tuna poke bowl. Substituted corn tortilla chips in place of the fried wontons (gluten issues). The waitress explained that they were to be used to scoop up the tuna poke mixture. Problem was, the chips they brought out looked like the little bits that are left at the bottom of the bag after you've eaten all the big ones. Hardly suitable for scooping. The poke mixture was okay, but not spectacular. Really very surprised how poor this meal was after all the good things I'd heard about this place.

This was my first time and I loved it. We ordered the seafood poutine, Tuna Poke and beer Battered Baja fish tacos. Everything was amazing. The seafood poutine had big pieces of shrimp, calamari, mussels, haddock, cheese, scallions and curry sauce. It was delicious and saucy! The Tuna Poke was fresh, and had a citrus flavour. It came with fried wontons, Tuna, edamame, scallions, radish and cucumber. The beer Battered tacos had Pico de Gallo, salsa, picked onions, cilantro and lime. It was on the smaller side, but it was so fresh and comforting. I highly recommend coming here!!

Honestly, eat here. The service was great. The hostess sat us inside knowing we wanted outside then as soon as something opened up, came and got us. We didn’t even ask. They all work as a team and the busser, our waitress and even the manager worked together to make it a great dining experience. We got fish and chips and fish and shrimp as well as two tacos (fish and shrimp) and a soup. All was great! The waitress recommended a local beer which was very good and my mom loved her lemonade. If you’re in Kingston, eat here.

My husband and I had great drinks and food. Everything was great except for me. I have environmental problems to chemicals, dust, smoke etc. We had a reservation but were told it was full inside so we ended up outside which might be fine for average person, but the cars pass close and it was one after another, I don’t know how the vehicle exhaust didn’t ruin our meal. I would suggest you put up some type of barrier that at least up to car level to help keep exhaust and traffic noice down a touch. I’ve seen before on Etsy + they make everything you could imagine with wooden pallets. You might get cheap idea. Yes I would recommend and I will come back reserving for inside. TY

Overall it was pretty good food which is probably what matters most for a majority of times. But we got some really bad time estimates when it came to the wait for the table then the wait for the food. We got a 10-15 min table estimate which ended up at 30-35 min wait, and a 20 min food wait which ended up at 30-35 as well, which is what dragged down what likely would’ve been maybe like 4 stars. Food wise it was good but relative to the cost which is higher than usual it was ok. Would come back just might need to pray that the estimates we get are accurate next time. Probably jungle gap tbh

The lobster Roll was nothing to write home about. You don't really taste lobster. It's more of a undesirable flavor that lingers in your mouth. If I was not sharing 1, I would have never eaten 2. You really need to fix the flavors in the Roll. See my reviews for the place in Niagara falls for a good Roll. The fish taco was delicious though. The service was not spectacular but it worked for this visit. I think it's worth a visit but if you try the rolls and they taste like I described let them know otherwise they will never fix it.

Delightful patio in prime location next to "Kingston" sign at the waterfront. We stopped in for a later night bite and cocktail after doing the ghost walk across the street. Really good Mexican corn + we ordered this amazing poutine made with seafood and green curry. Going to try to re-create the recipe at home was so original and tasty. Another highlight was are server MacKenzie who not only was excellent, but lovely to chat with here and there and was knowledgeable about the local beers! Really added to our evening.

Let me start by saying that the waitress was very nice and friendly, however the food as far as the fish tacos and the chicken tacos lack flavor big time the clam chowder soup lack flavor big time it’s like they added no seasoning whatsoever on their foods, it was not impressed with the food whatsoever prices weren’t the best either specially for what you got only thing that was half decent that we had out of all five of us were the order of fries that I got had a nice little Mexican flavor twist to them but that was it. I forgot to take photos of the food when it arrived so I apologize for that brought home two tacos just to season them up and eat them at home. Would not go back again.

  • Lara Cottrell

Overall a very good experience. Our server was attentive and thoughtful and the food was good. If I have a criticism it's that overall the flavours were on the bland side (I had the fish tacos and they certainly didn't rank up in the top 5 of similar dishes for me).

Terrible experience this evening..sat at a table while all staff walked by and didnt't even acknowledge us for approx28+min. I'm easy going, it happens but male manager and female server handled the situation poorly like we did something wrong?!... and we all left, was looking forward to great food but will never go back. Managers need to be friendly, patient and understanding..not attack the upset customer and engage in an immature, verbal argument along with your sidekick"/server, she was something else my gosh! I was shocked and very upset/sad at the disgusting behaviour; - x3 Grown women/mothers/grandmothers

The reviews were pretty good so we decided to give this place a try. The location is great & our server was very accommodating & friendly. We all ordered the Fish & shrimp combos with fries & coleslaw. The fish (Haddock) was tasty & so were the jumbo shrimp however a little oily with a heavy feeling, post eating. The coleslaw however did not look appetizing, so we didn’t eat it. Overall, it was good but we honestly have experienced much better. We would however consider visiting again.

Came here for dine in lunch on a Saturday since it's close to the waterfront. Great customer service from the greeter, wait staff and owner. Lots of great options for a seafood and bbq. I shared the Alaskan Haddock 2pcs with Fries with my son. My toddler loved it! I enjoyed the coleslaw. My husband had the tacos. My other friends had the brisket sandwich, chowder, mussels and calamari. All were very yummy! Very impressed with the food! This restaurant does comply with public health standards. All staff wore masks, greeter asked for proof of vaccination, and there are shields that separate the dining tables. I definitely felt safe dining at this restaurant.

The staff is slow, inexperienced and clueless to deal with customers; unfortunately my favourite sandwich was cold!! 0 stars (1 star is a compliment) In addition the hostess left me waiting for 25 minutes after I let her know there was an available seat open in the patio BUT instead seated another couple that literally just got there (no waiting period ) before me then when I pointed out her mistake she didn’t even apologize! How rude! Horrible experience after driving 3 hours to kingston from Toronto. We left disappointed and will never return again. Pls train your staff better.

The fish was actually terrific, flavorful and crispy. Just the fish and chips I'd give 5/5. As for the Tacos I didn't get the jerk spice taste from the jerk chicken tacos, however I did catch a hint of the salsa which I liked. The wings and ribs I thought were dry and not juicy. I was expecting lots of deep flavours and smoky flavor but I didn't get any hint The ribs were not "fall off the bone" and not enough meat on the bone. Staff was friendly. Get here early as it did get busy closer to dinner time. I like the location and patio area.

I was returning to Montreal from Hamilton and found myself near Kingston at lunchtime. I called my wife from the car to see if she could find a good place for me to have lunch. She suggested Diane's Fish Shack and I had a fantastic meal there. The fish & chips with shrimp were so good. And the service provided by Sydney was exceptional. Kudos to the entire crew. Will definitely be back soon, with wife in tow, since she's the one who steered me there.

We were seated right away. Place is not big but cozy. Music is not too loud which is nice so you can still carry on conversations. Staff is nice although sometimes a bit forgetful. Food is good. We ordered 3 soup and sandwich lunch meals. Soup was fish chowder and really tasty. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich but ended up exchanging with my husband’s trout sandwich because the pulled pork was a bit spicy for my taste. We are now having the hello dolly with vanilla ice cream and the chocolate mint mousse for dessert. Both okay. Too bad they don’t carry the chocolate cheesecake that they have on the dessert menu.

Loved the seafood poutine! Apart from that the Oysters were fresh and the staff was extremely friendly. It was a busy Thursday but didn't feel it due to how brilliantly the staff was handling the crowd. Will def go again.

Pricey for what you get but tasty for the most part except for the raw fish and chips... We were excited for the fish and chips ($~30) but ours was raw. We bit in to find raw batter and sent it back. They offered to remake it but we declined as we were nearing an hour of being there + were on our way out of town so we could not wait. They still charged us for the fish and chips at 50% which is unprofessional in my opinion considering we spent well over $100 on lunch for two and the fish was raw + not edible. We didn't even touch the fries!

As our mains we ordered the Steamed PEI Mussels in a white wine tomato sauce and the Taco Plate. The mussels were very tender and fresh tasting. I liked how the sauce was light, which allowed me to still enjoy the mussel flavour. For the tacos, I chose the BBQ Brisket and Beer Battered Baja Fish Tacos. The lunch combo also comes with a side of fries. The baja fish tacos were a bit bland, however I enjoyed the nice texture of the fish and the crispy batter. The brisket taco was phenomenal. I really loved the juice running from the meat and the spices made it really delicious.

Well I made it back and once again was not at all disappointed! Had a friend in town whom has literally had fish tacos in, I lost count of how many different countries. He loved the beer battered haddock or was it Baja fish taco. I had the Ahi Tuna which was served properly... rare to med rare. It was outstanding!

Small to tiny portions, mediocre at best food. The four of us ordered crab cakes, large salad, brisket sandwich with fries, 7 tacos and the sesame tuna. Took a while and was all somehow barely warm and was flavour less. Staff were excellent, atmosphere was great, location good. The food was a huge disappointment. Calling themselves a fish shack suggests they specialize in fish.... what we had looked like frozen fish from Costco, certainly not from a fish shack. My daughters chicken nuggets were not fresh either. If you want frozen food cooked to order you won't be dissapointed. But if you want authentic fresh food go somewhere else.

The atmosphere was good, and the food was good as well. But a little bit pricy; the starfish drink was perfect, but the white sangria drink was not that good. I am slightly disappointed about our table, it was tiny, and when I requested to change it, they said the other tables were reserved. But when we left, the table we asked for was still empty. I expected a better table when I spent 94 dollars for two. Otherwise, everything was good.

Lovely service, cute patio with great view. The late night menu is different, I tried the tacos - shrimp and brisket - loved both of em shrimp was better though. Considering the long line up and witnessing many people place take out orders, I was very disappointed with this restaurant! My cocktail was poorly made (too sour, I had to add water and sugar to balance out the flavour) The fish chowder was served lukewarm, watered down and had no seasoning (not even salt). The Mexican corn and fish and chips were okay, but the fish portions are very small so be prepared for that. 2 stars because the server Karly did a great job! But the food is below average, sorry.

Found this little gem in Kingston for a pit stop. Even in the time of pandemic, we managed to get a sit right away. Staffs are couteous. Menu wise, there are so many to choose from. I went straight away for fish n chips (Haddock) + clam chowder. My boyfriend thought I would go for something besides F N C, but I really have to try this and guess what it was delicous and the beer batter is very light. The size of the fish is really generous. We will definitely go back again and bring friends.

Stopped in on a Thursday afternoon for the 2 piece fish and chips. The place was clean, service was good, and the fish was exceptional. The batter is light with a slight hint of a Mexican type spice or something like that. Just a light hint that gives it an extra kick. Very tasty! The fries were very very average. Absolutely nothing special and they don't have gravy. The the story here is the fish and it taste really great... solid 9/10. I would return for the fish, not the fries though.

Located in the heart of downtown Kingston, I highly recommend making a reservation and ordering the combo haddock & shrimp. Service was friendly and attentive. The beer-batter was light, crispy and delicious. The shrimps were a decent size and the haddock was perfectly fried. House tartar sauce was tasty. Unfortunately the fries and slaw were like an afterthought and was a little bland. But pair it with a pint and it’s all good!

A cool spot with beachy vibes. Their patio is small, but right in the heart of downtown, and pretty much waterfront. Shared a pitcher of white sangria- super refreshing on a hot day. Always when in the Kingston area I love to stop by this establishment for fresh fish and chips. It never disappoints and this is my first time actually dining in. The fish is so tender and juicy and the fries are really good. The customer service is really top notch and everybody is truly nice.

Absolutely delicious! The lobster rolls are stuff with so much lobsters and it was so flavourful and umami! My partner enjoys all of the unique cocktails they offered, plus loves the crispy fish tacos! We went back again to try out the seafood pasta which was very yummy as well. I cannot wait to go back again during the warm summer months!

They were out of corn tortillas so used lettuce wraps on fish tacos, which I enjoyed.

I had dinner out on their patio and it was lovely! They have gas fire heaters which made if cozy and the cutest thing ever - they give you blankets if you want one for some extra warmth! I got the nachos which were good, the brisket on them was delicious. The waitress was also very nice and all the staff were welcoming and friendly.

It was our first time dining here, we have passed by the place a million times and thought we would finally try it out. We really enjoyed ourselves, our meals seemed to be ready minutes after having our order taken which was really nice. The food was very hot but also very delicious, you can't go wrong with the fish and chips! Our server was super friendly and topped up our drinks multiple times. Overall we had a great experience and we will definitely be back!

Very nice place on the main street. Everything is very fresh and delicious. Kids menu and activities. Nice selection of beers on tap. 3 different types of sangries, tired red and it was really good.

Our family loves to come to Diane's Fish Shack when we are in Kingston. The staff are very nice and extremely accommodating. The food is delicious. I inadvertently left my sweater there and Magnolia from the restaurant so graciously offered to run my sweater over to my nieces store on Princess St using up her break time. Now that is going above and beyond to help out a customer!! Very very kind.

Wonderful meal. I loved the mix of Latin American and Nova Scotia. What a combo! Started with Peruvian ceviche, which was nice & fresh. My husband had the sesame crusted tuna and I had the fish & chips with the jumbo shrimp. Both were excellent. We took dessert to go, and since we had a bit of a drive, they packaged it up with some ice for us to keep it fresh. We'll be back for sure!

Mediocre food and mediocre service. Was very surprised this place has so many good google reviews. They poses themselves as a kinda seafood restaurant but I could barely find see food on the menu, only few items more like a pub sea food ( deep friend calamari and fish and chips). We ordered tacos, the taste was nothing special, the taco was very chewable and plaine. Butter tart for dessert tasted like the one you get from Walmart.

  • Abhilasha Ram

We never got a chance to taste their food. Went there with so much expectations after looking at the reviews but was left disappointed. Went there on Canada day last week with family & a kid, but no one literally showed up to get the order. We sat there with glasses of water for around 40 mins & no one checked on us. And then we left the place.

We went for dinner but the food wasn't upto the expectations. Most of the items ordered was very bland and our shrimp with pasta was litterly burned. I choose the place after looking at the review but very disappointed with the food and portion for the pricing.

The fish was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying tartar sauce added a delightful tangy flavor. The only minor suggestion I have is to increase the portion size for each fish piece. If you're a fan of fish and chips, this place comes highly recommended!

A bit expensive for what it is honestly, but the food was good. I chose this place because it is pet friendly. You can ask for a bowl of water for your pet. The classic smokehouse burger tastes very good. Big eater a second patty is recommended even if the waitress may say it’s enough talking about their bigger burger. The fried fishes are good too. Washroom not super clean. The smell was so-so… The servers were adorables!

  • Linda Delves

We just celebrated our wedding anniversary there and it was fabulous! The food was so delicious and the service was outstanding, thanks to Sara and Tera! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. If there's a lineup, it's well worth the wait!

They put a lot of effort into the food here and it shows. The jerk chicken sandwich (not pictured because I couldn’t wait to eat it) was absolutely to die for and some of the most tender chicken you will eat, as well as the dirty fries you can get as a side. I’ve eaten here in the past and will say all the tacos they sell are very good as well. Lots of options when it comes to beers on tap. A must visit!

  • Tammy Doucette

Second time here and we leaving unsatisfied again... James and I had the fish and chips and our belly was burning before we even left, our son had the burger and liked it. For the price point here you get a small amount of food that resembles fast food quality. Staff or management did not care enough to ask why we did not even eat half of our meal.

The service was very nice and attentive. The food was very good especially the guacamole and chips. The tuna poke was small for the price (19$) and did not have a lot of tuna, and a lot of macademia nuts. The dianne's burger was very filling and tasy and came with a large side salad. All salads were amazing! The mussels were delicious.

Lunch here on a hot sunny afternoon. We sat outside; wasps in downtown Kingston a bit of a bother when eating outside, but eating on the Ontario St side provided a good breeze that kept them to a minimum. Our server was very friendly and efficient. Fish tacos came quickly, very tasty. My wife and I had two each. Then we had Guacamole and tacos to follow. Good choice…freshly made.

  • Johnny Zhouuu

The food was over cooked so the shrimps were mushy. The batter is terrible on the shrimps but decent on the fish. Very pricey for what you’re getting as well. The picture is 27 dollars for 5 shrimps and 1 haddock.

Honestly AMAZING FOOD. I got the fish and chips combo with shrimp (I changed the battered shrimp for blackened shrimp) and was WOW…. Just delicious. We got dirty fries and poke Tuna for entry’s and they were REALLY GOOD. Honestly everything was delicious. Service was really good as well! Definitely recommend if you are in town. Would definitely come back when visiting.

  • Imad Assaker

The food was absolutely delicious. The ceviche was so fresh and full of flavour. The fish cakes are a must try and the fish and chips was great. The portions are good but most importantly the flavour is there. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the because of the 15 minutes wait to even get served after being seated. This place is a must try, food is fantastic.

  • Dana Bell

We're visiting from out of town and stumbled apon this amazing restaurant! Their haddock and shrimp was incredible and their oysters hands down the best I've ever had. I was curious about one of their dips that went along with the oysters and their chef came out to to chat with us about it! Great experience, service and delicious food. Thanks for an awesome time.

Excellent service and delicious selections. First time dining here. My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with our server, Kayla who was informative, professional and lovely. Warm greeting, only a 10 min wait for a table. Meal and cocktail were spot on. Recommend the fish chowder, lobster roll ( you get 2 rolls with this order) and seasonal offerings.

The smoked brisket sandwich and the nachos were tasty and a good portion size! I can't speak to the seafood as I didn't order it, but everything else was good. Stopped in Kingston for a quick bite to eat on the way back to Ottawa. I had the fish and chips and enjoyed each bite. The fish tasted fresh and was hot and crispy. Fries were ok but the fish was the highlight. Food came out quick and our server was also really great (I think her name Shiloh). Would definitely stop here again if I’m back in Kingston.

  • Robert Zheng

Would return. A classic local establishment with quality food. The fish and chips were solid, though fries were not my style as they weren't the crisp kind. Salad was fresh and tasty. Chowder was solid, loaded with fresh chunks of fish and potato, rounded out with a creamy and thick broth. Pricing is typical, service is quick and cheerful.

  • Véronik Brais

AMAZING. For a take delivery, everything was on point. miam miam miam!!! Pictures : fish and chips, dirty fries (spicy and fries so yummy) and tacos (bbq brisket and beer battered baja fish). Everything was fresh and delicious. We also had the fish cake and it was as good as the rest of the order. Thank you very much. I'll recommend 100%

Delicious seafood is available at this spot near the docks for both dining-in and takeout. The haddock and shrimp with chips comes in generously-sized portions with coleslaw, housemade ketchup and tartar sauce on the side. Prices are great and the views are spectacular across the water - definitely worth stopping by if you're in town!

Such a delicious food they have. I tried fish and chips and Tacos here and they were perfect! The staff are also good but still can get better! I definitely had no issue with the service. This was only my 2nd time there. First time was amazing. 2nd time, not so much Kinda disappointed. I ordered the tuna steak & it was well over cooked. They took it off my meal, but I think they should've had some compensation. I went without my meal. Not happy
