cool and nice place to visit during the summer. Winter time and near Christmas has nice lights and a very festive feel to it. my complaint is understandable, but I don’t like that late at night (around 9-10) the bathroom is closed. There should be at least some place for people to use the restroom.
I had rained earlier in the day and it impacted our ability to ice skate at the park. Luckily, we were able to visit a Coca-Cola marketing stand for some free hats and enjoy some of the food stands in the cooler weather. Bathrooms were kept clean and we were able to park nearby for a low rate.
Went to Discovery Green for the first time. Was hoping to ice skate- but you need reservations and it was a 3 hour wait. . The outside space is good and there was a movie on the lawn. Parking is challenging. There is a picnic area and playgrounds. The kids enjoyed it and it is pet friendly.
Discovery Green is a must-visit spot for locals and tourists alike. One of the best place in the heart of Houston surrounded by high rise buildings. A true downtown attraction and the best place to spend fun time with your family. Great place to entertain your children.
Brought my family to ice skating in the park. This was our first visit and really enjoyed the area. We plan to return especially when it's hot and they can enjoy the playground with splash pads. Very nice neighborhood with many hotels & restaurants to choose from. More
I love this park. It’s full of family oriented things, full of things for kids to do but also it’s great for a romantic walk and copping a squat in the grass. Great food trucks and vendors are never far away it there are places to eat and get drinks from too. Love it!
Nice seating around play area and love the trees. A gelato cart was there and the bathrooms are clean and supplied. Some dogs were off leash which made it difficult to enjoy dog area with my puppy. The play area was clean and my grand daughter had so much fun.
During one of the scorching hot days that Houston had experienced recently (June 2023) my family and I embarked on a visit to downtown Houston and the delightful Discovery Green Park. Our children had an absolute blast at the playground and
We have been visiting Discovery Green Park for years, and it never fails to impress us, especially during the holiday season with its beautiful Christmas lights and decorations. The park is a wonderful place to visit during the day or night
Whatever the occasion or season Discovery Green is the place to be to meet with family, friends, a/o date. There are a couple of restaurants available on site as well. Great for children. Plenty of space for them to release some energy. I
Super awesome park in the middle of downtown. Lots of space for walking. Shopping and restaurants not too far. There is a small restaurant/concession stand there as well. Seems like an area they may have outdoor concerts. Right across the

We went there for the Autorama at George R Brown. They had a flea market set up and an ice skating rink for everyone. They had a few food trucks and it was a nice time. They have a lot of restaurants that surround the immediate area as
We love Discovery Green. It is such a great outdoor space to display and enjoy art, live music and fun events. Here everyone can find some kind of activity to enjoy. It is a beautiful and relaxing place to unwind, especially with kids.
Lovely family friendly park. Lots of activities for kids to enjoy. Including water fun to cool off on a hot summer day There's a restaurant at the park as well as others outside the park but a short distance. There is also a mini food
Discovery Green is a remarkable urban park that offers a plethora of activities for visitors of all ages. From the moment you step foot into this vibrant space, you are greeted by a lively atmosphere and a sense of excitement.
It was a nice vibe for Thursday night. Blues show was going on live music was nice. Although there's signs that say no scooters, they just about run you over so be careful. When it's dark, be careful walking, trip hazards.
This beautiful green Space between important Business like Hilton Hotel, Convention Center George Brow Houston and so many amazing restaurants is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the city; full of beauty and potential.

This is one of my favorite spaces for both my professional and personal photography work. Houston has a number of photogenic spaces, but Discovery Green brings all the best in one space.
I like this park. They always have activities to do and people to connect. It can be crowded on weekends and when events are happening. But there is so much space and place to enjoy.
It’s always nice to go to Discovery Green, but Sunday was packed and didn’t get to enjoy as much. Too many people. But overall very nice for children and spend the day at the park!
I have been coming here for over 20 years and love the different events they always hold especially the outdoor ice skating and movie nights. Fun to attend as a kid and adult.
Beautiful urban green space. Nice big playgrounds, walking trails, well kept bathrooms & really cool art. Check it out if you have some time to spare in downtown Houston.
It's a really nice place to walk around. There is a picnic area and it's dog friendly too. But, when we went, the Christmas lights were out and it was dark except for a
