This is by far the worst shopping experience I have ever had at a DOLLAR STORE. As soon as we walked in the security guard was staring at us then followed us around the corner. Later a worker was also following us around the store as well. When we arrived to the self check out a worker randomly came over and tried taking over our checkout yet I never ask for his help, then stood right behind me as I scanned the items and paid I’m not sure if it was because of our physical appearances, attire or my wifeys favourite pride bag but the people working in that store made us feel very uncomfortable and discouraged If I ever happen to return to this store for any reason I will be as ignorant and rude as they were to us☺️ Would recommend the dollar store at 183 Rideau street not only are the workers professional and respectful the security guard is a great guy who does his job properly without making students feel uncomfortable in the store.

This store turned into a complete dumpster. Several Month ago it was good. Now it became super dirty, self checkout machines do not work, they break 2-3 times every time and you have to ask staff to help you. Earlier there were good people work there/ But now they hired some terrible lazy people that work in a slow motion. My wife and I even Left today and left all out purchases as self checkout machine stopped working (as usually) and new cacheer was super slow and super lazy, so we waited for too long. The store is very dirty, it looks like a dumpster. Jyst a shame, it was a good place several month ago. Giant Tiger near by also have proplem that trash is hanging out near the store. But Giant Tiger Is pretty clean (they even clean buskets) and their cashers are super fast and never make you wait. Please fire new lazy stuff and make your store great again.

Dollarama location on Rideau has improved since opening of the other location a few blocks away. They since renovated the original store to make it easier to maneuver around. But on the negative, security is still over excited at this site (and the other).. following regular long time customers around continuously while they try to shop and was even accused of taking things and packing into my bags from another store.. luckily the items he accused me of taking were items they do not carry.. or I would have been guilty since I couldn't find the receipt from the other store so just would have been characterized as a common Thief..having to steal less than$10 worth of junk.. cuz that's worth taking a chance.. maybe 5bucks value. Unreal.. but getting Used to that kind of treatment.

Great staff, clean store BUT I feel for this staff and customers having to put up with loitering, drug use, over doses, aggressive people right outside on doors on King Edward. Totally unacceptable for the city to allow this to go on. Garbage every place around the concrete tree planters, people passed out on the street. I have empathy but my limits are being pushed when it starts to effect everyone else conducting their own daily life. Cut down those trees or move them if you must. I hate saying do that but eliminate this covered place to loiter.

Disgusting service. I have shopped in Dollarama stores from one end of the country to the other. Never ran into them not honoring their posted shelf prices. I expected to pay a dollar for three items as their shelf sticker price listed this item n not only just this flavor of rice but two shelves with same brand but a different flavor of rice was also listed 3 for a dollar but at checkout they wanted 4.50. Staff refused to honor the posted shelf price even the manager refused to honor the posted shelf price. Disgusting customer service skills.

Love this Dollarama been to almost all of them city wide but this one got that mom an pop kinda feel to it. Parking isnt great, but. There is a parking lot around the baack of the store for employees thatts waay to big for the maaybe 10 employes that parking is aloud so long asyoourr not alll Day. Every visit I'm still greeted as a regular havnt lived in that neighborhood in a year but welcome as if I lived next door great shop great people well recommended

Dollarama has started charging more than the printed price on old stocked items in the name of inflation. How come inflation affected the company for the old and previously purchased/stocked items on low prices? It's just a rip off using inflation as an excuse. I felt disappointed paying more price than the printed price. Their store managers also didn't bother (shamelessly) about it when confronted with the bad practice.

I went there and a box full of staff fell in my head...I was lucky it didn't have anything heavy to break my neck but I have back and neck pain. The word is that I talked to the manager and he didn't care , The boxes probably still at the top of the shelter just waiting to hurt some one. I called the city and they told me they cannot do nothing?? I will Post some videos and pictures so you are aware!!!

The location is in Nodder Town. Wash your hands after you touch the door handle. Its smack dab at the entrance to Hell and whatever you do...don't even think about using the out in the open...in plain sight ATM machine outside. When you get to the entrance...don't make eye contact with anyone just hurry in. Other than that it's a typical Dollarama inside.

Just gonna say, this place is amazing. Unlike most dollaramas, this place actually has a huge selection of items. It's high quality. Almost feels like a mini Walmart in there. It's also huge so there's lots of rooms. And for other hobbyists, there's some pretty good diorama supplies. Anyways, that's about it. Nothing negative to say about the place.

The store has a lot of selection inside the aisles. Most of the time I was able to find what I was here for and even more. the only drawback is the crowd of homeless people hanging at the entrance. There is usually one cashier and 4 self checkouts. usually able to get in and out without any wait. they accept cash and debit and credit.

Almost hidden entrance at the corner of King Edward & Rideau. Entrance can be aggressive. Security present. I understand that Dollarama looks for cheap rental spaces to utilize profit but when it comes to customer safety this is unacceptable. Will not recommend this Dollarama for Safety reasons. 5 for products. …

Finally, a downtown Dollarama accessible for folks on wheels. This one is massive and even has self check-out. (Which has a lot of tech errors with it where staff have to continually correct the machines after you do what the machine tells you to do and errors pop up... but I figure it's just because it's new.)

I was in and out in a matter of minutes and picked up two items what is a very good price at the front of the store. It was my first time in this location and I really didn't have a chance to take a look around. The one thing I did notice that there was nobody on cash and I had to ask for someone.

They sell brand name products same as grocery store, box stores etc but at a cheaper price. You will find anything from food to house hold products, snacks, toys, gardening pots, tools, ornaments for your lawn, personal hygiene products, party supplies, school supplies, books list goes on.

The store is big and there’s good finds but the staff is nowhere to be found. The security guard seems nice but I wanted to pay at the cash and no one was present after I looked around and waited for 5+ min so I used self checkout even if it’s harder while making big purchases.

Dollarama is generally good, and this location has a lot of stuff because it's big. That said, I am giving it 2 stars because they didn't have the 1 item I came for, and I hardly spent enough time to even give a rating. So the 2 star is not really for this Dollarama itself.

Newly-opened location on the busy rideau street, and although there is another one two blocks away it's fairly busy regardless. Other than the people loitering in front the store itself is great and has everything if not more than other locations.

Love this store it's so huge . Very organized ,so tidy. Lots of great pet items & household items,. This store has lots of greats items that you can't get at any other dollarama store. They also have the self serve cashes. Excellent store .

Lots of cheap merchandise that will break easily. Self checkout is fast, staff barely attends the checkouts. At least security has half a brain here, I have never been harassed on my way out. One of the people that worked there kindly

As you can see by the pictures; this store scary to enter. There are huge groups of homeless people strung out all around the door with trash, litter and used needles all over the ground. The entrance to this store is plain nasty.

Well, it's a new Dollarama and it's a large store that doesn't seem to have all what I was looking for. In that sense, I was disappointed, but it's close to my place and within walking distance which is good.

Are you are low on funds because of the state of our world? But also, you have a shopping abuse issue because it's your favourite coping mechanism? Well is this the place for you!

I love this dollara but PLEASE talk to your guards about proper hygiene. I am always actively running away from the guard because they smell SO bad it's horrifying.

Rowdy location, high security. Well maintained though and the staff are very professional. Classic selection of dollarama products, seasonal selections included.

Aside from the guy that harassed me into buying him things, and was angry that I didn't give him a gift card.. this location is great, and the staff are nice.

Nice Dollorama with a decent selection of items. Sure it doesn't beat the one at the St-Laurent mall, but you can find pretty much everything needed.

I think this is a good place for buying small stuffs，people in here are all kind and willing to help. So do not afraid of asking questions to them.

Big store, has many household items. It has self check out. I've never ever seen a human working a cash register. The robots are coming!
