This school has made my sons first year a nightmare, the principal should be running a maximum prison and not an elementary school. I witnessed him humiliating two young boys for running in the school, then proceeding to make them march like soldiers up and down the hallways, in front of other kids and scolding them continuously. This is after witnessing him and other staff ( including the skinny lady with short hair that does traffic after school, I believe her name is Ms. Meads) time and time again treating students of all ages like they are less than them. Today I witnessed Ms. Meads grabbing a young boy by the arm to move him from one chair in the office and berating him . I have witnessed so many inappropriate behaviours by the staff and principal. Do NOT subject your child to the abuse of this school. Do your research. My sons kindergarten teacher is amazing, so I don’t believe she will be staying long. The fact that there are constantly teachers assistants and teachers quitting here is a red flag among all other incidents. Unfortunately I don’t believe that most parents see as much as the kindergarten parents, so if you do have your child in the school, please talk to them and ask them how they are treated. It breaks my heart to see such a beautiful school being run by these incompetent, cold people with zero awareness of positive reinforcement and people skills. 0/5 stars.

This school has been my worst experience with Edmonton public schools. My oldest was constantly bullied and they did nothing she struggled academically and they gave up on her. We had a hard time as a family managing pandemic, job loss, and a new baby, and family deaths and they were not supportive. Very judgemental and the office staff are horrible. They go to hang up on you while you're still talking almost every single time. They unregistered my oldest for not having birth certificate.which is my fault for not producing but we were struggling financially and my daughter clearly needed support and that's what they did. As for busses 2 years in a row the start of the year was an unacceptable joke. My youngest was late every day for over a month!!! Bus pick up times have changed roughly 4 times in 3 months. Completely ridiculous. And on my youngest daughters first day this year she got bullied as well.

Horrible school. Our son was burned with hot glue , the staff treated him Improperly for it and then they blamed him for doing it even though where the burn was it was clearly impossible that he could have done it himself, even the doctor that treated him said no way he could have done it to himself and also the staff made the scarring worse because of how they treated the burn . He now had a scar on his arm about 5 inches long and 2 inches wide . Also several other incidents where students in class had handed in homework and the teacher lost it and then said the kids were liars and had never handed it in. Very unprofessional approach for a brand new school . Principal is dishonest and does not admit to any wrongdoing on the schools behalf even after multiple students and parents came forward about issues with the teachers and supervisors.

It is first year I registered my kids to this school. From first day I didn't get good impression from office workers. Even though I received welcome letter from principal saying they are looking forward to see our kids on September 6th. And I was missing only one bank statement showing my address on it and I took it with me on September 6th to them. One lady told me let them have a seat and teachers will come and pick them up to their classroom. On the other hand other lady names Tracey McNabb told me since I provided the paper today we can't have them today to school. She needs to talk to someone for confirmation which I know she wasn't honest as I already provided 2 other documents proving my home address. Anyway. Let's see. How it will go. Richard secords school's team was way better than those

I want to school last year and I had the worst year. EVER. It wasn't the staff it was mostly the students. There was one boy named Sifou. He was in my class and he was the most rudest person ever. He was Algerian and he would say the N-word every time he got the chance. this was offensive. They would also touch my hair. It was bad that year. The staff wouldnt do anything about it. Some would but others wouldn't. Hw would also bully my friends and he was the cause of most the problems in my class

Worst school I've ever came across. The princebel isn't friendly at all, I've noticed this with staff as well. I've noticed a lot of bullying in this school. It's only 2 months into the school year. Teachers seem overwhelmed all the time. Like they don't know what they are doing. It's scary bringing my child to this school. I'm unhappy dropping my daughter off. Very eerie feeling.like something is off. This has been open for only for year or so. Very dissapointing. :/

Not a very great experience for my daughter who was transferring to this school in Grade 1. I can safely and authoritatively say that my daughter has been suffering a lot of mental health issues since she joined this school. It hurts because she is such a sweet child...she has to daily stand up yo bullying and then comes back exhausted and not wanting to go to school the next day.

This review is specifically for the admin staff and not related to academics. The staff is really good and friendly. They are helpful towards their lunchroom aides and provide good hourly wages. It surely is on the outskirts and transportation can be an issue. If that resolves, I'm sure this school may gain popularity in terms of staff.

The supervisors in my class is terrible, its like a prison. She lets only one person out the class and even when there wasnt anyone she didnt let me out sometimes. But other classes could? She is annoying and plus she uses her phone and sits down during class and chit chats with other people its fr annoying ong

  • Dare it or do it

I love this school I have been here since the first day it opened and I loved the staff and our new principle. He is 6, 4 and the only rule is to listen to teachers and don’t bully . We can eat in class eat gum and just I love this school and I hope you will to and your kids.

I love this school all my teachers were so nice but the lunch supervisors don’t really watch us or care about us…but overall this school was the best school I have ever been in

This new school is great. Even if it's not yet complete. Friendly atmosphere. Unique Environment with so much natural light.
