I have been confirmed negative test results twice by two different receptionists, and more than a month later, I have been contacted that they found cancer in my system and I have already missed two of my urgent colposcopy appointments. I tried to change my address several times, filled and taken back forms, but nobody ever got back to me regarding it. After my test I have clearly told them to not to contact me by post as they still did not change my address, I left my number and email to make sure they will inform me on one of these. I did not received my results for quite a long time, called in to ask twice to make sure. Two different receptionist has confirmed that my results are negative and there is no action required. More than a month later, I have been contacted that they found cancerous cells in my system and I have already missed two of my colposcopy urgent appointment. When you have cancer every minute matters and you can die in a month time... I have been a nurse at my country previously and if I made a similar mistake I could never ever work in healthcare again!! Previously, I also had so much problem with the receptionists as they do not book in the appointments they promise, for example telephone consultation. You just wait for the call but it never comes. Can't do anything face to face, impossible to book an appointment through their website, and they do not pick up the phone and even if they accidently do they tells you to book online. Doctors are great but it is impossible to get through to them. I have changed my GP and I will raise a complain at every possible places as I could have died because of the lazy receptionist who are not willing to check the actual results before confirming negative results.

The receptionist are very worst and very rude. They will not even listen to what you are saying and you have to do whatever they say without any questions/queries. If you again ask any doubt then they will say that you are being very rude. Totally unacceptable. Day before Yesterday I couldn’t reach them over phone and I have sent an email asking for an appointment. Next day around 12:00pm a receptionist call me and said you go to King George hospital and see the doctor. I asked her why ? What happened ? She told that you written in mail saying you have check pain so you you have to go to king George hospital and not here then I told her please read the full mail and you will have a better understanding. Then she said doctor has advised you to go to king George hospital and am here to just convey the information. I told her doctor didn’t even examine me and understand the problem before that why are you diverting me to king George hospital . She said this is what doctor said you go to king George hospital and am disconnecting the call now. She was very rude and not helpful at all. Really disappointed by her service. Doctors in this GP should treat this seriously and take appropriate action. Really frustrated !!!!!

Recently had surgery & rang to make an appointment for practice nurse to remove the sutures. Firstly, it took me DAYS to get through, ringing at different times of day. When I finally got through, the receptionist initially told me she wasn't sure if the practice nurse could do that & that I'd have to go back to hospital! I politely had to inform her that 1. that was something the practice nurse would have to inform me directly and 2. that if she's saying that Granville Medical Centre does NOT have a competent practice nurse, that's a SERIOUS medical safeguarding issue. She tried to retract what she said and "magically" managed to find an appointment for me. Sad to say, this experience is not an exception, but seems to be the rule. However, once you get past the self-appointed medical guardians (aka receotionists), the GPs are generally okay.

The receptionists are the worst, they have no courtesy or politeness. When you ring the intercom, their response is 'do you have an appointment ' no greeting or concern. The receptionists also always request you a bring a note with you, stating your concerns so that they can give to the doctors. They will never take complaints over the intercom. The online E- consult form is disregarded when they think your medical request is not valid or serious. Couple of times, they didn't get back to me and l had to fill another one stating serious conditions before they eventually got back to me. The doctors are the best especially Dr Shafi, who l always request each time, very professional and friendly, always making sure she covers all medical grounds of treatment. I have never had such an amazing doctor in all of my previous GPS.

Hands down the best surgery and NHS care provider that I consider a blessing. Doctors here are amazing and their care for a patient's wellbeing goes way beyond expectations. They have my absolute gratitude for the care I've recieved. They care enough to save lives and make a difference. Their phone lines are busy because they are actually bothering to listen to people and NOT pushing them aside after 30 seconds like a call centre. I can only assume bad reviews are from those who feel some form of entitlement that doctors and staff should act like their door mats. Doctors and staff are also human beings, who work very long hours trying to resolve real health issues. Perhaps next time show that consideration and some respect for their time too, instead of treating them like a raffle price won holiday's hotel staff?

  • Jasdeep

I can't say I use the service often but when I have they've been prompt with appointment times which is great. I recently had a smear test (my first time) performed by Nurse Henrietta, I expressed how nervous I was and to my surprise she didn't try reassuring me, she just disregarded my comment. In addition she didn't bother explaining the procedure to me or even talk me through what she was doing. As a medical health professional myself this sort of uncaring attitude is not okay, patients are vulnerable and it's the duty of the nurse/healthcare professional to ensure the patient is made to feel comfortable. It's for this reason I've decided to change GP's rather than be treated as a nonhuman.

A quaint & efficient practice. Over the years I’ve lived here, I’ve found both the clinical & admin staff are friendly & helpful; many thanks to Dr Nair for treating me & my family with great care. They’ve always managed to help me out whenever I need something, so no complaints there. The practice itself is very conveniently located, it even has free parking out front (for 1hr). The only thing that’s an issue is their phone lines, the waiting times are insane (T^T) I always wait for over an hour before giving up & walking to the practice when I’m free. I’m guessing that’s cos they have so much to do & not enough staff, so yeah be warned: don’t call them.

  • Sid Khan

Worst administration service ever, Doctors are fantastic but I think some receptionist are working against their will. You get better customer service from Lidl than here. They already avoided helping patients and now since covid there dreams have come true... They never answer your call and if you dare to visit them to deal directly they asks you to drop your request or notes or change of prescription through a letter box which I think go straight to the bin as we have requested 3 to 4 times even involved a doctor note from King George but nothing happened even after 2 months. I am now fedup with them and switching to Loxford GP with my whole family.

  • Parvez Mohamed

Absolutely horrible service! 1) Phone never goes through, if it does then you have to wait over 2 hours with ONLY 2 people ahead of you in the queue. 2) Registration was prolonged for no reason at all. 3) Failed to appoint repeat prescriptions for person suffering from pregnancy diabetes Never have I honestly been with a GP surgery in the boroughs that I have previously lived in as bad as this one. In fact all the other surgeries I have used have been great. There are a TON of bad reviews on here and yet they have not seemed to take any action of the criticisms which is a real shame!

  • Ahsen Kamal

Pathetic service. Worst staff at this GP. I always have issues in getting an appiontment or requesting any other service. You have to be on hold for ages. Doctors are good but to get them is really a mission. Reception staff is very rude and not helpful at all. They love to misguide you on the phone and when you are physically there, their demands and stance changes. Google review should have a minus stars category for these kind of services or places. I would love to give Minus 10 stars. I would request doctors to take notice of the reception staff's behaviour and reprimand them.

  • Randeep Sangha

I have been a patient here along with my family for the last 30 years. I have had nothing but positive experiences from all the doctors and staff. Even in the current pandemic, where resources are stretched immensely, getting in contact with the surgery be it online or on the phone has never been a problem. The doctors have looked after myself and my family with such care that words do not do it justice and we are truly grateful for this. Even when we ask for administrative changes, they're are done seamlessly and easily. I would recommend this GP surgery to anyone.

Absolutely hate this surgery. Dr Singh makes you feel like you’re ill and it’s your fault. Any answer you give to his questions are never valid enough, he always comes back to shifting blame on the patient. Very dismissive, prefers to talk to my husband over me which I find very offensive, it’s not like I don’t speak English. The older receptionist thinks she’s running the surgery, Ill mannered, doesn’t know how to talk to patients. Dr Balloch on the hand really knows how to listen to his patients , Attentive and responds well to his patients.

  • S A

Worst Staff services they have. Firstly when u call them after hrs of being in Queue, when your turn arrives, they don't respond the call and means it will get disconnected and you have to start from zero again. Staff gives so false commitment, they will tell you sending message for e-consultation but when you hang up call nothing will b there in your inbox. Many times when i m personally in GP, observed my self phone keep on ringing but staff ignore those call completely and that justify why we always have to be in call Queue for 1/2 hrs.

  • muhammad ali zahid

If there is less than one star I give them that. This is worst Gp ever. I’m asking for my son an appointment which I’m asking them from last 2 months but then he got alright himself now I need again but they are giving me another numbers, call here call there, we don’t have any appointment. Everything is blocked by a doctor. So many excuses . Receptionist asks so many questions why you wants to make appointment, you can go here or there but we can’t offer u any appointment, not today not tomorrow, not even whole month. Terrible service.

  • D “Danny” Matharu

I’ve been with this GP for over 30 years. It’s gotten worse year after year. It’s taken over an hour to get in the que in the phone, who knows how long till someone answers. I’ve tried going into the surgery to ask a simple question about medication that should have been sent by the surgery and have clearly forgotten. However turned away rudely by up tight receptionist’s honesty calm down love, you only are there to answer the phone which you’re not capable of either.

  • GLMX MUA

Unfortunately the lines are constantly busy. The wait time to make an appointment via telephone is an average 1 hour 30mins. Sometines they keep you on hold and then cut off your call by answering and putting down the phone. Limited appointments are available so the chances of getting an appointment after waiting so long are slim. Dont waste your time here - there are many other gps and doctor surgeries to go to. Terrible service - rude staff and tired doctors

  • Sumayyah

Poor service isn’t enough to explain how bad the service is. Hours of being in the queue for a simple request, I got denied. Going in person is useless because they tell you to use econsult. Econsult barely works, only for 20 minutes after 8am. Receptionists are not empathetic towards their patients. I have called 111 instead of going to the GP multiple times because I know I will not get an appointment.I will be switching GP’s asap!!

  • Adiba Choudhury

Don’t waste your time signing up for this surgery. The issues they have are unbelievably long to list. Such an unorganised practice. Unfortunately none of the practices in the area seem to have good reviews. The Drs aren’t too bad but the system is broken. Dr altaf baloch has been very helpful as a dr. You’ll get headaches just interacting with the surgery and you won’t even be able to see a dr about it!!

  • Radha Singh

Good service. Of course they are very busy but doing their job dedicatedly. Reception staff was nice. My doc was Ms P Nair and she was good. Dr.shafi dr.Baloch nice and treated my little one nicely even the nurses. It was hard for me to change my GP but as we moved into new house, had to do this.only my husband didn’t get any good advice for his knee ligament problem.Thank you everyone. Best wishes.

  • Adz Ayyub

The worst GP I have ever joined. They keep you on hold for hours and don’t call you back for a telephone consultation. Unfortunately due to their lack of care and attention given to patients, I have had to go into A&E for the past 18 months in order to be seen to by a Doctor. I would avoid joining this GP practice at all costs! They have no care for their patients.

  • gabriel Toma

Horible reception staff , my mom had surgery and had to get in touch with them to follow up the doctor instructions and get her next prescriptions i had to wait 2h in a que and still nobody picked up the phone. Hope somebody will check on them and close them down because their behaviour is just terrible and thats the last thing you need when you need medical care.

  • Zahid Hussain Chaudhary

Worst gp ever. Staff is rude and don't give an appointment, only say one thing we are sending you link go on econsult and mention your problem there and if you will have problem then Dr will contact you but it never happens. I had registered with so many surgeries if I compare them with this gp everyone was better than this. They are worst ever.

  • Ritu Sharma

I have been registered with this surgery for past 30 years and service has declined. Receptionist is obnoxious, rude and seems to think she run the surgery. I have complained today and think that little madam should be taught manners. As far as Drs in surgery is concerned she is amazing and does listen once you are past receptionist.

  • lory lolly

The worst practice ever. Whenever I called nobody answered the phone. The funny thing is that you're always the 4th in the queue and about after half an hour you get the first in the queue. And when you get the 1st one, well, it takes between 30 minutes - a few hours for them to answer. My advice is to Not register at this GP.

  • Saher Habeeb Aziz

The WORST surgery you will ever come across. First and foremost because of the uptight receptionists who think they ate so entitled! You are receptionists love, dont behave like you hold medical degrees and run the surgery when all you have to do is answer a phone. Avoid registering here at all costs, glad ive moved away.

  • Chetan Rathod

Worst GP ever... Booked appointment for vaccine and reached on time. Guess what, it did not open at all. Unprofessionalism at it's best. Waited outside GP for more than an hour and no body came. They did not update us for their closure. Unfortunately it's very hard to GP here. I will not recommend it in my life.

  • Gizzy

I think I lost the will to live, holding on to get through. When I called the surgery, I started off at second in the queue. 40 minutes later, I moved to first in the queue and still holding. After 1 hour and five minutes, I gave up. My husband drove to the surgery instead! Ridiculous telephone system!

  • Tatiana Florea

This medical centre must be closed, they never answer the phone, they never have appointments. Horrible. You can die in front of the door, they are barricaded. A person aged 60-70 does not have the possibility to make appointments online, how can he go to the doctor if they are permanently unavailable.

  • Salma Qureshi

The surgery is equipped with almost all Medical conditions,e.g excellent Doctors, Receptionist with multi language skills nurse on site , physiotherapist. Pharmacists etc I think cardio support to . Well done ✅ to all the people in running of this surgery smoothly and taking care of the patients.

  • v322Mihaela Sandru

The best surgery ever. Nice staff, lovely and professional doctors. I have been with them since 2013 and I always had only nice experience with them ....on 26sept 2019 Dr Nair and Gr Sign saved my son's life. I will have to move this year and my biggest stress is that I will have to change GP .

  • Indy D

My prescription is always delayed thanks to pathetic administration at this place. I always have to get emergency supplies because they never answer their phone or respond to prescription requests from my chemist. What's the point of the process if I just keeping having to call 111?

  • Paras Govindani

Is there anything called as negative star rating that I can give to this GP for very very poor call system.. I trying calling 50 times since morning & once it connected after 1hr and someone picked and disconnected.. How come these guys are so so careless and senseless..

  • Priscillaq Bei

Absolutely awful, almost impossible to get hold of them. Average time spent on call 1 hour and half, they rarely reply to your e consult either. Rude receptionist and every month I struggle to get my prescription ready and that's giving me so much anxiety and headache.

  • lightstaar techna

Apart from the consistent facts provided by many overwhelming negative reviews on here, this surgery is probably one of the very few NHS establishments where staff balatently lie on the phone and mislead the patients. It's a miracle this place is still operating.

  • Jurga Lideikyte

I never see that worse gp in my life..... second day I keep calling them and no one don’t even answering phone.... yesturday wait on the phone for 3 hours today phone its busy... and its fanny to’ many complained about this and they not even changing....

  • Saima Malik

Dr Baloch is excellent and extremely professional, he genuinely cares and is very patient when listening to needs, my 17 year daughter is so comfortable and bonded also with him well being a teenager. Definitely we need more Dr's like Dr Baloch.

  • J

Spend hours on the phone only to be hung up on. Reception staff clearly aren’t fond of their job and that level of attention to your health echoes around the whole practice. Doctors are decent, it’s a shame the appalling reception staff and

  • Brigita Brata

Worst GP ever, never came across a GP that does not answer phone when it is an emergency. This GP should be considered to be overly looked at by the NHS department , as it is crucial. Best option is to go and register with another GP.

  • Zoe Borner

Got an mental health problem and the dr never signs my repeat prescription it effects my mental health its a joke the dont help. So a year later and the Dr still can not sign my prescription correctly she clearly has an issue with me

  • hardy singh

worse gp ever reception lady refused to see my original documents but insisted i go and get photocopys for her to register there i have never heard of that she must be a lazy person i need to report and take this futher

  • Rauf Karim

Fortunately my experience has been very good with the Doctors here, especially now with the online booking, things are so much simpler and response time from the doctors is amazing. Keep up the good work.

  • b shireesha

We had appointment with Dr , he is so so nice , he patiently listened to us n explained how my son health problem will be cured.we are so pleased to have registered with this GP. Never disappointed.

  • Sameer Ahmed

Two times waiting on the phone once third in the queue took them 2h 23 minutes to second time waited for 3:04 minutes and was 4th in the queue then when was first was cut off. Unprofessional

  • ritu sharma

Dr P Nair is excellent dr. She has helped me to achieve my health goal. Dr Nair us good in follow up and she always make sure to ask progress continuously. I am grateful to her. Thanks

  • Mariam Akhtar

Extremely hard to get a hold of this GP. Call waiting is limited so you'll have to keep calling over a dozen times minimum before you get on the waiting list on the phone.

  • Imran GULAB

If I could give 0 star I would, the customer service is very horrible, and all the doctors are very rude, don't even think of coming here, you will regret afterwards.

  • Arsalan Qureshi

Terrible. I have been trying for last couple of months to call and book an appointment, but they never do. Waste of time, playing with people health.

  • Davinder Heer

Excellent doctors. Always had positive results. Econsult method is really good. Been with the surgery for 43 years, never had problems.
