"One of the few pleasant parts of recent Queen Street improvements ( although it does actually face Dumaresq Street ) , this example of public art adds a splash of colour to what was hitherto a bland, white -painted, stucco wall"
One of the few pleasant parts of recent Queen Street improvements ( although it does actually face Dumaresq Street ) , this example of public art adds a splash of colour to what was hitherto a bland, white -painted, stucco wall. Shout out to 7-Eleven ( or the building's owner ) for allowing it to be placed here. The mural itself consists of a number of colourfully painted snakes. These " snakes " aren't confined to the wall, they extend to the footpath, and thanks to some boards attached to the wall, above the wall as well. My only criticism of this piece, it's a pity that the nearby traffic light electrical cabinet couldn't have been painted to match the mural. Admittedly, this is a very minor point, it doesn't really detract from the overall effect.
