i personally love dynamite as a brand and I shop from them all the time. However, this specific location was just a big no for me. I visited on July 1st so it was very busy considering it was Canada day. There was a top that I was searching for that was displayed on a mannequin but couldn't find. The mall was gonna close in about 40 minutes so I decided to ask a sales associate rather than just waste time searching aimlessly. I approached one of the workers and asked her if she knew where I can find the top displayed on one of the mannequins (I pointed out which one). Without even looking at the piece i was referring to, she cut me off mid sentence, smiled a cheeky little grin and said "sold out" and proceeded to ignore me. I'm like ??? lmao what? I then decided to take a look around the store one last time before checking out and guess what I found? the exact top I was looking for, several of them actually. I guess you can say the employees are more worried about their paycheck and looks rather than making sure their customers are satisfied. TL;DR Employees are lazy, liars and will do anything to just get you out of their face. The manager really needs to learn how to hire the right people.

Not sure WHY Dynamite/Garage does this, but items online are often CHEAPER than in-store. Sure, I can order online & ship 2 store free-of-charge, but that requires a) a credit card, b) Visa (or Mastercard) Debit card, or c) purchase of a giftcard, & as I have neither a credit card nor a Visa/MC Debit card, I'm left w/option c), which anytime I've purchased a giftcard, I've had nothing but issues using it online, so I'm stuck w/paying MORE for something in-store BECAUSE I can't purchase it online. I don't know how many times I've passed up on a purchase because of this fact... (& thus why I'm not giving more than (3) stars. That, & the customer service isn't always great). Update: I now have both Visa & Mastercard Debit cards (offered free thru the banks I use), so online purchases have become easier, but customer service hasn't gotten any better, & I've had a number of issues w/online orders when they've finished processing & shipped that I'm still trying to sort out w/customer service, so my rating remains the same.

Had a great couple of experiences with Dynamite staff @ Eaton Center. I highly recommend this location and store. Not only do they have an exceptional Fall collection. What stood out to me the most was their above par customer service and interpersonal skills of the staff. First off Tara did a phenomenal job helping me pick out 2 denim skirts on Thanksgiving weekend. I found Tara to be very knowledgeable, kind and helpful with my purchases. I also had the opportunity to meet the store manager Martha who has been intentional to acknowledge me with a heartfelt greeting every time I come into the store. This adds to the shopping experience and is a nice touch! I also have had great conversation and customer experiences with Irish and Sarah. Overall I found the staff at Dynamite Eaton Center to be very personable and great. Thank you for delivering an exceptional customer experience EVERY TIME! Keep up the great work.

I was not sure if that's need to be said but I can't hold it anymore. Shopping addiction is the result of me having a need to go shopping on my special days. This is the actual day and not a fake day. A shopper is always a happy person, she can cheer herself up with good buys. I buy things for myself and at the same time I'm giving myself the best birthday ever. That's why I am not ashamed of my love for shopping. I love shopping, I'm addicted to shopping, I dream about shopping and now I'm here to tell the world about it.

The team here is always incredible and go above and beyond for me every visit. After reading some of these other reviews.. all I can say is that, as important as it is to give great customer service, one should also show up as a respectful customer. Store policy is in place for a reason and it's never ok to take out your frustrations on frontline staff. These girls are some of the kindest and most hard working retail professionals I've encountered in years, and that's saying something. Keep it up!!

I just had the worst customer service experience at a this store. I simply inquired if she knew where a certain style of jeans were in the store.The lady I asked for help from was so snarky (basically yelled at me) in return and I watched her roll her eyes, as did the other customers around who also looked shocked and uncomfortable. If you hate working in retail and are bad at speaking to customers.... get a new job. Went home and ordered the jeans online.

I recently went shopping Saturday December 2nd, to this location and the manager in charge, can’t remember her name, said I had to leave because they were about to close. I understand I was a little late, but the store wasn’t closed yet and it was really rude to just kick me out and I was going to shop a lot. That’s the first time someone has kicked me out of a store and I think it’s not even legal to do that. Never going to this location again!

Dynamite has some good stuff. I recently bought a pair of faux-leather leggings. Omg! They were uncomfortable due to the inner lining of these pants - only 5 minutes in them & my legs came out sweaty & damp. Tags still attached, I returned them to the store. I like the fact that even though I was a little over the 1-month deadline *by just 1-day* , the nice manager in store there was good enough to accept my return for a full refund. Thanks. :)

The store itself was fine, it has some cute clothes, however when it came to checkout time I was asked to give my email address. I politely said no thank you, and the sales associate insisted they had to have it to make the sale as they're "trying to go paperless, and for returns". I gave them an old email I don't check, as I don't want to be constantly spammed with store emails. They then gave me a paper receipt.

I love this location! I was a little scared to shop in person since I had bad experience in other stores. But the staff in this location helped me with my graduation dress! What gave me the confidence to enter was all the good reviews they have on here, which is why I wanted to leave one myself. I hope this helps someone who was in my situation! They are really kind and have great customer service!

I waited patiently by the fitting room to try on some clothes. When turning around to look for help, I caught one of the sales associates rolling her eyes at me while reluctantly coming forward to assist me (She’s got very long black wavy hair) . Giving mean girls energy. This is why I always have anxiety wanting to try on clothes in stores.

The store itself is trendy and fits in downtown, unfortunately upon seeing one of the acting managers at the local courthouse in New Market pleading guilty to assult charges on a young lady. Made it extremely difficult to shop there. What kinda company promotes that?

Staff closed the door at 6:55 and yelled at me “love that” when i walked in... A little more professionalism and manner would be nice. I didnt know you were closing and i walked out right away when I realized she was closing the door. Worst customer service...

I went shopping there a few days ago. And a girl whose name was Martha (? Or maybe Bertha) kicked me out of the store around 9:25pm because they had to prepare for closing. It was super rude. I’m never going back in there, I rather shop at Yorkdale Mall.

Great shopping experience at Dynamite. The clothes are of good quality, the staff is nice and they have tons of cute clothing options. I made an order for store pickup and it was ready the day after I purchased my item. Totally recommend this store!

LOVE Dynamite - great prices and cute trendy clothes. The new layout of the store is a bit more squished and harder to navigate, especially when there's a line. But the online shopping is stellar

Eaton branch does not want to work early, they will ask you to hold on the line but will never comeback. If you try and call again - the phone is hang up forever. Not a good customer service.
