I am writing this review to share my horrendous experience with EOS Fitness and their utterly appalling customer service. My interaction with this gym has left me feeling deceived, frustrated, and utterly disappointed. Upon signing up at EOS Fitness, I was promised a 30-day free trial period by one of their sales representatives named Duncan. He assured me that as long as I canceled my membership before the 29th day, I would not be charged, and there would be no questions asked. This offer sounded like a great opportunity for me to try out the gym before committing financially. However, what followed was a complete betrayal of trust and a violation of the terms I had been given. As a responsible individual, I made sure to cancel my membership within the stipulated timeframe, even going the extra mile to visit the gym in person to confirm that my cancellation was processed and that I would not be charged. To my utter disbelief and frustration, despite adhering to their stated rules and procedures, EOS Fitness went ahead and charged me for the membership. What struck me even more was the attitude of the staff when I confronted them about the discrepancy. It became glaringly obvious that they were more interested in meeting their sales quotas than providing genuine customer service. The staff members seemed ready to do anything, including lying and going against their own company's policies, just to secure more memberships and sales. The level of unprofessionalism and disregard for their customers' concerns is truly disheartening. The fact that they are willing to make false promises to customers and then turn a blind eye to their own commitments is a clear indication that EOS Fitness prioritizes profit over integrity. In conclusion, my experience with EOS Fitness has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their sales representatives, like Duncan, promise things they have no intention of delivering, and their customer service staff will stop at nothing to achieve their own goals, even if it means going against the company's stated policies. I strongly advise anyone considering joining EOS Fitness to proceed with extreme caution. The gym's lack of transparency, deceptive practices, and overall disregard for their customers' well-being make it an establishment I would strongly discourage anyone from supporting. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment – look elsewhere for a gym that values honesty, integrity, and genuine customer service.

I’m using the Gympass app through work, so thankfully I’m not bound to this gym, otherwise my sentiments would probably be worse. In terms of location and parking, I feel they make the best of it. Not the most convenient, but it’s LA, and hey at least it’s not timed. In terms of variety of machines and equipment, they’re actually pretty good compared to somewhere like planet fitness or other comparable price points. More variety and squat racks. However, the amenities leave a lot to be desired. Bathrooms never fully functional. They smell of some odd cleaning solution stench, like chlorine from the pool maybe. The cave with the power racks is ALWAYS crowded and the wait time even with five is ridiculous. However, the low ratings and the reason I’m avoiding this place from now on is the clientele. I have never gone once and not had someone be rude or have to deal with people who are not used to going to a gym. Enough with young female cliques hogging a whole rack for almost an hour please and then acting as if you’re the imposition when you’re waiting for it. People just having straight up conversations with each other while there’s a clear waiting line on the bench in the cave. This last time I had tried to ask a gentleman who decided to do deadlifts on a random space next to corner where the barbell can be used for t bar rows. He got confused, flustered, and then visibly upset that I suggested I share the space and demanded that I wait. When I started waiting there, I’m not sure if the PEDs he was obviously on got to his head or what, but he started cursing me out yelling I was being a creep and staring at his behind. Just being homophobic and overall rude. On top of that, a man with no hesitation decided to record the incident along with his commentary as if he was trying to egg on a fight to build up drama for his social media followers. Looking back on it, I should’ve reported the two to management, but I honestly just wanted to avoid any further drama and just thought how pathetic it was of them to think that any of that kind of behavior was ok. I upgrade my plan on Gympass, so now I have more options of where to go, but the experiences here showed me that sometimes when it comes to gyms, you get what you pay for.

There are some really positive things I'll say about it in that it's spacious, lots of equipment, has a pool, hot tub, sauna, aerobic classes, free parking in garage, and the staff is really nice and helpful. Membership is cheap too, about $10-15/mo which is hard to beat anywhere. Now the downside which is much more to be said: Low price also means the place is over-crowded any time of the day or night and it doesn't look like they're slowing down anytime soon. Is there a limit to how many memberships they can sell? Parking itself is difficult to find especially at peak times. Just walking in the gym is hard to navigate around crowds of people. A lot of equipment is broken, and it's hard to use what's available because there are lines for everything and the weights are moved around and scattered about so there's that too. There is no attendant to re-rack and replace weights where they belong either, and half of the treadmills and other cardio machines are turned off or out of service. Even in the mens locker room a good 20% of the locker doors are torn off (how is that even possible?). Locker seating areas, restrooms, and showers are rarely clean and look pretty disgusting. I have to avoid that now because it's looks like a hot bed for Covid. ACs throughout the gym upstairs and downstairs are leaking water everywhere (been going on for at least two months) and as you walk about you have to step over towels. Their solution is to close off some ducts with the fans blowing hot air around. It's a place that started off as nice but it's really spiraling downhill now. With a $10-15/mo rate it shows that not only are they overcrowded but they don't have the funds to keep it running properly and it's only going to get worse. I don't see how they could survive much longer. *Reading back on the comments as far as a year back, I see comment after comment of someone from corporate replying back with same the old template of: "Thank you for your reply, I reached out to my staff and blah blah blah..." yet the same problems remain to this day. Canceling membership soon and filing a complaint with the state so please save it with your BS reply.

Terrible experience so far. The front desk employees are rude teens that don’t answer the phone. The managers were no help at all and I was scammed into paying more than what I originally agreed too. Apparently I was suppose to take screen shots of my agreement at the time of purchase. I was originally suppose to pay $20 for the enrollment with a promotion I got in an email. The website didn’t work and charged me $100 instead. Since I didn’t have good enough “proof” (even though I had the email I signed up with) they will not cancel or refund me now it’s two weeks later. I waited so long to speak with someone immediately after I was charged that ridiculous amount by EOS, they just take their time to help you and make up excuses just so they can say “it’s times up” I called many times and left the manager several emails. No response, until I showed up in person. When I spoke to him he claims the original price is actually $149 to sign up and the $100 I was charged is the promotion and of course when I say I’d like to cancel my membership (THAT I NEVER USED) it was already too late to do anything about it. So now I’m stuck with this balance that I’m absolutely not going to pay and I can’t go to the gym until I pay their scamming price. If I knew I was going to pay $170 (including hidden fees) in one month just to go to the gym, I would not have signed up. But since I don’t have “proof” it can’t be fixed. Yeah never coming here again, Planet Fitness is a better option than this.

My birthday was full of disappointment in what other gym have done to me. I decided to find new gym to workouts and I can attend classes. I found this gym about 30 minutes away from home and 10 to 15 minutes away from the community college. I am hoping that this gym would not give me any disappointment. unfortunately, I like this gym and it's open 24 hours. parking is accessible, no fee for parking. You can come back anytime and train with any equipment but you need to sanitize it . The members and staff are nice. the fitness classes is fine with me because I have two fitness instructors that I know who are teaching body pump and barre. There is a pool and Jacuzzi that I will try later, there's sauna that you can relax your mind. but two things that I am concerned about in the gym. 1. the leak from the women's locker room 2. the gym and 7-Eleven safety due to homeless people walking on the sidewalk around 1 am. One time, I was alone and feeling unsafe. there was a homeless and who came to me and ask for a penny. There some homeless stay in front of 7-Eleven. I think this gym need to hire some security to take care of the outside of establishing 24 hours for the employees and members protection. In addition, to this, we need to have an additional woman and male janitorial to take care of the women's locker room and the men's locker room, and the gym too. I would like to recommend this gym to workout but bring your own powerbanks with you just in case your phone died.

this place is really nice on the weekends… or at 11 am on a tuesday. otherwise, it is frequently overcrowded, sauna barely works, people never wipe down their equipment… but it’s cheap, and if you’re lucky… there MIGHT be parking for you in the tiny parking lot that they have.. theres almost NEVER parking on the streets too. oh you’re a 5 am rise and grind typa person??? sorry buddy, you’ll be in the parking lot waiting for at LEAST 30 minutes any week day before you get a parking spot. also.. theres so many damn gnats in the showers, it’s rusty, the knobs barely turn… its kinda gross. **update 12/2023** gym has gotten a little bit better. started going at a different time (6 am) and the gym isn't too bad. the sauna is in and out of being in order. the showers were also under construction. when it rains, the pipes begin to leak. if you wanna park here, just know that you'll get thrown the bird at you multiple times by different people because people here don't know common decency. you'll be fighting over a parking spot like you live in k-town and will be sitting in the lot for 15-30 minutes just for your spot to get stolen by some random dude whose clearly on an ego high.

  • LA Living

This place has so much potential, but sometimes it feels like the staff and owners don't care. Broken machines, outdated equipment, busy chatting with each other or on their phones. However- I don't want to undercut their hard work, because there are definitely some staff members who are super nice and helpful. Also, the gym is packed to the brim ALL. THE. TIME. It's open 24/7 but you will not find a window of time when it's not busy. It feels like Black Friday at a retail store all the time. You will be waiting in line for machines/equipment, this was a foreign concept to me when I first signed up - it's super bizarre. A LINE AT A MACHINE?! What makes it worse is the salespeople keep pushing for the top tier membership and the fact that you can bring guests as many times as you want to. I hate to say it, but that needs to change. All in all, I would say if you can afford paying more for a gym to filter out some crowds (other gyms in the area are busy too, I get it), I'd strongly recommend. Otherwise, you'll have to fight for space with people of all ages who can afford a $15/month plan - teenagers, young adults, adults, seniors, and everyone in between.

Got a membership here the gym itself is nice the employees on the other hand and to be SPECIFIC THE HE MALE EMPLOYEES… they basically keep you with them over an hour to lock you into training packages and hand you cheap supplements and fail to give you a receipts and FAIL to let you know that the supplements arnt able to be returned . As a business and corporation you should be able to return something you don’t want. Not only that the manager JAKE RODINO isn’t helpful he has the I got you and there’s nothing you can do about it attitude. I’m a sells person too and slamming customers for a buck isn’t acceptable. Train your employees to mention to consumers that things are not refundable that way the consumer can make a choice. Not only that EŌS as a corporation you should be handing out receipts to your customers. Stating that all sales are final. The way this was handled was poor but I didn’t expect any less due to the reviews with the BBB. EŌS do better AND PLEASE have a higher level of contact other than your unprofessional “managers”

This gym is good, if you’re on a budget and want to go somewhere with a lot of amenities such as online or in person group fitness classes and a pool or sauna. Beware: This place is always super dirty especially the women’s locker rooms are always leaking and sometimes only 1 or 2 sinks work. Very annoyed at how dirty they always are especially the showers and how many cockroaches you’ll see around the gym. Also, don’t invest in personal training here it’s a huge scam they don’t provide enough weekly check ins and sometimes don’t offer proper nutritional guidance for those who are interested in learning how to track macros or meal prep.If I could leave 0 stars I would because this gym just isn’t worth the money always super dirty, crowded, and sometimes left this gym feeling sick the next day. Management isn’t very helpful in canceling memberships either you’re better off calling their customer service phone number or speaking to one of their supervisors. Overall very poorly run and maintained gym would not recommend.

  • Ryan Bondell

Not a pleasurable experience, in my opinion. The overcrowding has gotten to a breaking point where I no longer find membership worth it. No matter the time of day, it is always PACKED. So, always waiting for machines/equipment (if you're able to get it at all), people breathing down your neck the second you start your reps, no parking, and just a general feeling of being on top of one another. I've seen multiple people genuinely look around in disbelief at the foot traffic, some even snapping a quick photo while shaking their heads. I love the accessible pricing, but I've realized it has opened the floodgates of memberships beyond reason. I just wish management could say "okay, we've clearly hit capacity." If you don't care about the afore mentioned issues, this is the gym for you. I genuinely mean that, and I appreciate their accessible pricing. But if you're looking for a place where you can get into your own zone, and not have people on top of you every workout, look somewhere else. Just my personal opinion!

Honestly, I love this gym. I enjoy the people who work here, I love the assortment of weights, and I love the squat racks. They recently added 4, which brings the total to about 10. Problems, Very few toilets in the men’s restroom. Taking pre-workout can be a guessing game to see how long I’ll be in line to use the toilet. Broken or missing equipment, sometimes a peg for a lat pull-down is no where to be found so it makes the machine useless. Parking, can become very packed and annoying after 9am. Pros A large choice of free weights to pick from Plenty of squat racks for heavy lifting A large variety of machines for specific movements Staff truly try there best to keep the gym clean but sometimes it’s not enough due to some inconsiderate clients Tl:dr I recently into powerlifting and this gym really helps me with that aspect, love it. Tip: Keep in mind the time of year when your show up, this gym is an absolute nightmare from January to Late April from “new years resolution”.

  • Nana

People leaving 1 star reviews forget that this gym is what you pay for, you get a good variety of machines, the women's locker room is decent enough, the crowd is young and everyone's super chill. I used to be at LA fitness where there was the same group of muscle heads who'd hog the weight lifting area for hours(and I mean like 4/5 hours everyday) and would stare/talk down to anyone who dare enter thier fortress. plus the showers/locker room were filthy to the max with mold. The pool was filled with older people who'd soak thier open wounds and sores in the water and the chlorine was so bad that it burned my eyes. In my opinion, you get more than what you pay for here. Also, I'm not going to the gym to sit down and talk to the workers for hours. They're pretty nice but to be fair I'm not here to chit Chat my time away. You want 5 stars, go to equinox and pay the $160+/month lol Only one downside: it can get crowded at particular times and parking can get full.

  • Elizabeth Sandino

Recently joined this gym, and I can only give 2 stars because it’s a fairly new facility, so the condition is ok. However, I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED that since I’ve enrolled (approx 2 months now) the women's sauna has been broken. The worst part is that each time I ask the front desk when is this going to be fixed, they keep saying tomorrow. It’s almost as if I’m annoying them and I get a snarky response (specifically the girl with blue hair and glasses) but yet they continue to lie to the gym members. One employee ( I didn’t get her name) was kind enough to be honest and said she does not know when this will be resolved. And she understood my frustration. The #1 reason I chose this facility was for the good pricing and the sauna room. Little did I know, I have yet to experience the sauna after a nice work out. Anyways, I really hope this review can be brought to managements attention. As I will also be contacting corporate as well.

  • Ciara O'Brien

This gym gave me what I needed at the time for a fair price. My only issue with the facility itself was the awful smell of the locker room. I put my 30 days notice in in person because I was moving. The employee I spoke with pulled up my account and told me I was all set. However a few months later I realized I had been continuing to be charged, so I called and talked to a different employee and was told that the manager wasn’t in so there wasn’t anyone that I could speak to about a refund but that they would cancel my account then. However sure enough that employee scheduled my account to end the following month, so I was still charged once more after our phone call. I called again after realizing this, was told again that the manager wasn’t in but that I could reach him via email and was assured he’s very responsive. I emailed 3 times regarding a refund for the 3 months I was charged and never received any response.

All areas of the gym are dirty, ac is always broken/off, machines/equipment are broken often and left unfixed for prolonged periods. No one reracks their weights. Something needs to be done to get people to rerack their weights especially the dumbbells. If that means someone needs to stand and monitor people on the floors and tell them to return their weights after using them then that’s what needs to be done. Or have a staff member returning the untracked weights back to their spots. If it’s done consistently enough I feel like the members will be more inclined to rerack their own weights. I’ve even witnessed coaches not reracking their weights with clients. Start revoking memberships if people refuse to do it. The gym has so many members anyways and is always crowded. Homeless people sleeping in workout areas/sauna. My fiancé says the women’s bathroom is a mess and always broken. Same with the mens

  • Alfredo Portillo

Edit 11/18/23: Men’s locker room has ROACHES/BEDBUGS. This whole time they spent their money on a “recovery room” instead of addressing EVERY other issue this place has. Horrible HVAC(always leaking especially in summer EVERYWHERE), dirty water fountains/restrooms, constant broken equipment. I’ve brought the attention to the team here, and they looked at me as if they were mad that I saw this and actually reported it to them! They don’t care here. I dropped down reviews to 1 star. Let the photos speak for themselves… Great location, decent equipment, but there are some flaws. Half of the The theatre cardio equipment is either broken or “due for maintenance”. The men’s restroom is always not working g or just disgustingly treated by the people who use it. Urinals/toilets are always under maintenance too. Not the most hygienic gym I’ve been to but I wouldn’t blame the staff too much.

  • Merlyn Wood

There is a woman here who appears to be a manager or a lead & you can tell she has a power trip over her position. Extremely rude, and unhelpful. When I shared my experience with my family I learned my sister AND my mother have had separate experiences with this same employee and felt disrespected by her. We do not try to be difficult people but that is eye opening. When she works at the front as a greeter she is never friendly or accommodating to guests. This needs to be addressed and this gym needs to re-evaluate the way they treat their guests. I wish I could give more info but In fear I will be singled out & further targeted. Very unprofessional & very childish. Perhaps this is not the position for you, perhaps you should reconsider your career choice! Terrible terrible customer service, go to a gym where you will be celebrated people! Not tolerated

  • Lance Robs

This gym is not safe. I signed up for a trial over the summer and on the second day my locker was broken into and my wallet was stolen. This happened to 3-4 other people and it was mid-day when the gym was packed. I talked to the front desk and they were nice but offered nothing other than telling me to make a police report. The sales desk was only about getting new members, they don't care about anything else. And I recently contacted the GM and he didn't even respond to me. The other horrible thing about this place is you will wait for any machine. It is PACKED at all times because it's mostly USC students. I realize it's a good deal for a gym and there aren't many others like it in the area, but it's not worth it. UPDATE: I saw the follow-up from the district manager and emailed them with specifics. No response, hilariously.

  • Mayra Orellana

So far so good! I am a new member at the gym and was treated with respect and courtesy by manager Paul and personal trainer manager Jake. They took the time to listen to my fitness goals and helped me create a fitness plan. Jake has a positive and friendly personality and does his best to help and accommodate your needs. I was assigned to two great coaches Isaac and Coraly that have pushed me to give it my best. I have already lost 4 pounds in my 1 1/2. The front Desk staff are friendly and welcoming. The gym is two floors with cardio and weight machines and other Annemarie’s like the sled, pool and sauna. They are also in the works for a recovery room with message machines can wait to use them! There is room for improvement in the parking challenges as many people enjoy coming here!

  • Bill Mayer

Some of the managers are nice people and the membership is economical, but recently the parking lot has become over full, the gym is constantly overcrowded to the point where it is a threat to safety, and the facility is plagued with cleanliness, ventillation, and other maintenance problems. Despite over a year of repeatedly and patiently suggesting that they stop overselling the gym, It has reached the point where I have had to join a second gym In order to use a workout floor which is not completely inundated with members at every hour of the day and night. When this gym first opened it had the potential to be such a nice gym. But sorry guys, now it kind of sucks. Whenever are you going to face the fact that your business model is failing your members?

  • SANDRA CE

Have you seen how many 1 star reviews this gym has? And, how many 5 star reviews? It’s like the gym made fake 5 star reviews to increase their rating because it has so many 1 star reviews. I say fake because the 5 star reviews don’t have a comment like the one star ones. And then they reply to the comment with the same copy and paste comments. This gym is TERRIBLE. Don’t come here, save your self from stress. You won’t be able to cancel your membership, they make it so difficult. You can’t call or email to cancel it, you HAVE to go in person. And the gym has so many people every single day at every single hour. Seriously if you want to focus and not waste your time, just go to the YMCA Ketchum that’s about 3 blocks from this one. I hate this gym.

  • Alexandria Berry

EDIT: I went into the gym and talked to the manager Paul who was amazing and helped defuse the situation, which if you read below, I was quite heated. Human error happens but it's about both parties coming to the table with a solution. Paul went above and beyond actually so I wanted to change my review to reflect his leadership. I am no longer a member of the gym but that's mainly because it gets quite crowded, which is understandable given it's price point. If you don't mind all the people it's a good choice for you. Paul is awesome. Any issues, talk to Paul. OLD: THEY WILL CHARGE YOU AFTER YOU STOP YOUR MEMBERSHIP AND THEN SEND IT TO COLLECTIONS. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Would give it 0 stars if I could. DON'T GO TO THIS GYM!!!

  • Michelle Pages

Very quick to get you signed up but when you need to cancel no one is available and staff can’t help or do anything. I’ve worked for many gyms to know that the staff CAN help or at least notify the managers. I’ve been trying to cancel for WEEKS. And the manager is never available to cancel. They tell you to email and when you do you get ZERO response. On top of the gym being dirty (which can be overlooked because it’s a gym at the end of the day), women’s bathroom smelling like sewer (can be overlooked as well because people do their business there) , and machines being broken with no sign to indicate so, the service isn’t good either. Planet Fitness, golds, Equinox, Amped Fitness, and others have far better service.

  • Alma Fernández

The fitness room has a leaking issue since for ever! A lot of classes were suspended all summer. Now? Again still leaking. They don’t even cancel classes thru the app. They send e-mails that no one checks because we all receive 1000’s of e-mails from uninvited sources. Please get it together! You are Messing with peoples consistency and gas. Fire the guy that’s choosing the Plumber it’s been 7 months… or more! It’s rude and it messes with peoples lively hood and motivation! Which should be any fitness facility’s priority (motivation!) I hope you start caring a little bit more for your people. Your getting to comfortable with the fitness room not being available for way too long.

  • T. Minh

don't be fooled by this gym's membership fee policy. they gave me the runaround when i wanted to cancel and had to e-mail, show up in person, and call just to clarify their charges. once i was able to escalate it to the manager, he tells me he has put in an immediate cancellation request, apparently to some third party site, and that he has no say in billing and refunds. the gym itself is not bad though not quite the environment that i enjoyed. this low rating is primarily for their lack of responsibility in upholding their end of the signed agreements and making cancellation purposefully hard to wring out as much money as possible from you.

  • Mark Moliterni

This place is a total scam. Do NOT sign up here. They will lie to you upon enrollment, hide your contract until after you are charged and then charge you for things that you did not agree to verbally. Also the gym has a lack of equipment and is way overpacked. You will constantly be waiting to use basic pieces like barbells or 20-lb dumbbells. Besides that, the trainers have no idea what they are doing or just do not care. I have seen multiple clients receiving "training" like an old lady using weights with completely improper form and the trainer just standing there without making any adjustments. This could cause serious injury over time.

  • johnavalos rios

Bought a brand new iPhone I was going to hook it up that evening and dropped it in the gym called right away. I was asked what color the phone was that I had lost and they asked me to come in in person when I came there the person I spoke was no longer working. I left a message with the manager. Who has never attempted to call me back the Managers Name is Marc, I’ve tried to have them view the cams and they say Marc is the only one who can authorize that only no call has ever been made or any response of any kind from anyone … safe to say they are protecting one of their own employees. Ghetto place definitely don’t recommend it.

  • gerson hernandez

Im a new member, joined through an EOS that is not open yet, I started coming here because it is convenient. Although parking is good and facility has lots of equipment, the smell going into the men's locker room is awful. As soon as I walk into the locker room its musty, humid and smell of feces and mold. It is pretty bad. If it wasnt for the locker room this gym would be alot better. I spoke to some other members and they say that it gets worse during the summer. I have 30 days to try the membership to decide to keep it. Its an inexpensive membership but can be too much when it comes to health. I may try another gym.

  • Eileen Herrmann

What an amazing place! ️ The layout gives everyone space. The trainers have a completely different style than other gyms. The classes are taught by highly energized and positive people that take the time after class to meet and greet everyone individually. Having a pool in downtown LA was the reason I joined and I love it. And I can't explain the 'Yard', you just have to see it. It makes me feel like I'm back in New York pushing, pulling, or flipping things over for dad. You have an option of wearing a mask or not, and there are hand sanitizers, spray bottles, and paper towels, stationed throughout the gym.

  • Jesus Flores

This gym is huge and full of great energy! I love all the amenities provided. With that said, the smell you get once you enter the gym PUNCHES you in the face. It smells like pneumonia and musty locker room. This smell lingers throughout the entire gym but it worsen in the men’s locker room. The cleanliness of this gym is not up to date. The amount of dust on the walls, eso logos, and ceiling specifically upstairs in the cardio room is inches thick. This gym need a serious deep cleaning and ventilation upgrades immediately. Eso Fitness, please provided a clean, fresh, and heathy environment for all members.

  • Vicky Mejia

The gym is great but the person who attended me in the front was horrible. This wasn't my first time having a bad experience at the front desk with the same girl. When I told her I had a couple questions to ask she sighed and stared me down. After that Every word that would come out of my mouth would get cut off.I tried asking for info and she still cut me off and didn't want to help me. I told my brother about the experience and as I described the girl he knew exactly who I was talking about. she has also treated my brother and father with the same bad attitude. I will gladly make a more formal complaint.

  • Dana Gates

At first I was excited about working out here because it’s 24hrs. Unfortunately we all have tragedies that happen in our life’s that we don’t expect to happen, because of it I’m moving out of state. I called to cancel my membership.. there is no way that I will be able to continue working out. They gave me hard time because I got a personal trainer. To everyone that reads this save your money it’s not worth it. I believe in karma if they still choose to charge me even if I’m moving out of state. So be it. But if I can help anyone else from making the same mistake. Please find another gym. Good luck!

This gym is run by crooks and their shady business. They get you into personal training then after you finish your contract they refuse to cancel and they keep charging even if you put a request, they just don't care, there just after people's money. Do yourself a favor read the 1 start reviews before signing up you will thank me later. Find an independent gym, i don't know much about the other gyms, but this particular one "EOS fitness" i wouldn't trust their business. I'm really surprise is still running as a business. Gym also is pretty crowded, lots of people most of of the time.

  • April Brown

I strictly come for the classes (mainly body pump). The instructors are great (love Hannah & Sumiyah)! The gym itself is ratchet AF….. it’s been leaking water from the ceiling since I joined back in November. Currently the AC is not working (almost 3weeks) feels like a sauna throughout the gym. They’ve now canceled classes due to the issue. But with no time frame of when the issue will be fixed. The staff seems clueless when asked about the issues at hand. Y’all are really messing with my workout routine. Actively looking for another facility so I can canceled my membership with EōS

  • Clarissa Caro

Unfortunately the specific gym did hide the payment agreement and failed to tell me everything that they were going to charge me for and when. Be careful please ask to read agreement before signing. The lady had bad communication and just wanted to sell me out. They have this policy where if you cancel they still charge for the next month even though you don’t go. Then I talked to another person and she told me to email the manager and he failed to get back. The lady was RUDE and gave attitude. Also I had to hurt multiple time because there equipment is broken. BE CAREFUL!!!!

  • Ezequiel Garcia

This gym is the worst gym in the Los Angeles downtown area. I honestly joined thinking that it was going to be a good gym compare to La fitness. The weights were all over the place, not a lot of plates for the bench press. The gym is disgusting and it stank. I do not recommend this gym to no one. They should close this gym honestly speaking planet fitness is a better gym. I literally join for the dollar went one time cancel the next morning. Had the membership no longer than 24 hour period. They need better management they never pick up the phones. close this gym!!!

  • Jack Lam

Cannot believe how difficult it was to cancel a personal training membership. It feels incredibly predatory to have someone give 30-day notice before they stop charging you, and even then when I emailed Daniel Santos as they had told me to, I never got any responses. Finally when he responded that he submitted the cancellation, I was still charged the following month! It took me disputing the charge with my credit card company to finally have them stop charging me. Would recommend that if you're looking for Personal Training (PT), to look elsewhere.

  • Ana Tapia

Great facility, location, parking is accessible. I checked out the group classes and the instructors were great. I would pay a little more to ensure that the ac was working and to improve the air quality of the group class space. The ac doesn’t work and it smells like ammonia making it difficult to enjoy the workout; this can’t be healthy for the people doing several workouts per week. I could still smell the cleaning product Long after I left the gym. I would recommend this place to all my friends if management took care of these issues.

  • Ashley Cabrera

Goodness gracious, why in the world has this place not gotten closed yet? Extremely unprofessional customer service. They barely reply to emails and when they do it’s after a much too long period of time. And they barely help with issues that occur in the gym. These people barely help you, and will pressure into adding more fees into your account, many of which they don’t mention when you first start your membership. If I were you, I’d go to a different gym to save your time and money.

  • Alma Ruiz

I'm sorry but as of recent I have to edit my review. This gym has lost its momentum. The womens locker room is always filthy, the showers are dirty, the machines are always broken. I loved this gym at first but they're clearly not doing upkeep. Everytime something breaks they take too long to fix it. I don't understand what's going on here but someone's clearly not doing their job. For a busy gym with alot of foot traffic they need to step it up and fast or they will lose memberships.

  • Ian Henderson

I've been going here for three months. The ceiling has been leaking the entire time. It's very musky, especially in the locker rooms where everything feels pretty dirty. However, the biggest drawback is that the place is always busy, any time of day or night. I've waited hours for a weight bench while guys that I see every time I'm there are just standing flexing in the mirror. It's a vanity gym and EoS oversold their membership. I'll be going to a different gym as soon as possible.

  • Lovoy

Cheaper, but you pat for what you get. Needs better air ventilation. Sales guy was too pushy and was talking down to me because I purchased a promotion. Dude should be more courteous from the get go. I'm not excited to join. Felt run down and in clean. No sports and the pool looks gross. Free parking but it was packed. LA Fitness is better. Not for people who workout or Golds or Equinox or any nice gyms. The air was so gross, I threw up at home after only being in there for 10 mins.

  • Daniel King

Listen the only way I would sign up was if the gym did not require a line to the squat racks. I’ve been training since 2008 and for 15 years I’ve been able to share equipment with other people who love to exercise. Also the gym smells and you need a better cleaning team to stay on top of this. Please do something about the wait line of the squat rack I have noticed this at EOS and no other gym in Southern California or globally has a line. Share the weights it is gym etiquette 101.

  • Alice Dean

Love this gym! I've been in 24 hrs, and LA fitness before. But this the only one with the nice green area and extra equipment to use. Workers are very friendly. The cardio area upstairs always fresh and with a lot of lighting, the sauna is apart from the male one. Is open 24/7, free parking, ladies restrooms always clean. And the vibe in general very nice. I'm always going between the LA and orange county location since I live in the middle of both but the drive is worth it.

  • Nando Ginkaku

You're paying $16 a month with an annual fee of $70. Your first month you pay $86. That being said. I can't complain about anything because it is dirt cheap. Lots of machines to use. People just have excuses that there aren't machines. There are and a lot of weights too that you can use while waiting for a machine you oh so badly want to use. Other than that. People are really whiney who most likely came from a more expensive gym and expect so many bells and whistles.

  • frankiehands

I’d give zero stars if I could. I’ve picked up over 500 bags of garbage since I have lived in LA and I can’t tell you how many HUNDREDS of your flyers I have picked up off the ground. You poorly hang your ads nobody wants on gates and doors, they either fall off or get thrown on the ground. How many new memberships do you think you get from this? 10? Is it worth littering that much? Here’s a tip. Invest in social media marketing. No harm to your city done.

  • Mariosaurus

This gym is okay, but it suffers from an awful stench in the mens lockers/restrooms. It stinks in there, the smell is pungent and lingers. No matter how many times its cleaned. The poor ventilation is what kills this place, I try to avoid it at all costs but sometimes you have to use the restroom or just wash your hands or something and every time it right out stinks, even using the machines by the entrance will give you a hint of the God awful smell.

  • Raymond Gutierrez

Staff is not friendly. Signed up through Active and Fit which includes access to EoS. I really don’t think they wanted to activate my membership for whatever reason. Got the run around from them for weeks. Very rude staff. Huge waste of time. I went to another location and they took care of the problem in seconds! I came here out of convenience but it wasn’t worth it. Also the men’s locker room is infested with roaches :/ I do not recommend this gym.

  • Yaroslav Kuznecov

The gym itself is not bad, often too many people, but that's not the main thing. I had to move 9 miles further and it's inconvenient for me to go to them through the whole city, but according to their policy I can't cancel my contract because they signed me a personal trainer and I have to pay for the gym I don't go to. Moreover, in order to solve this issue, I have to go and talk about it in person and I still haven't been answered anything.

  • Yazmin Arevalo

The ladies locker room always has something wrong. Went on Thursday and there were towels on the floor on several places as if water was leaking there and was being used to keep the area dry. The sauna works maybe 1 out of 10 times I go there. I have a membership at LA fitness as well and I rather drive further than put up. With a locker room that is muggy and feels unsafe to to walk in. The parking there sucks. The staff is rude

  • JUNIOR LOPEZ

I just became a member. And already regreting it. The floor is full of bags. Gym bags and backpacks everywhere its crazy. Shirtless dudes all over the gym with their shorts half way down showing their pubesz and dont even care about the women in there. I went to the restroom and jesus christ!!!! The worst smell ever! They dont clean it! I couldnt even pee because of the horrible smell! Im regreting it getting this membership

  • Julia Musolino

If you are looking for affordable exercise classes, look no further! I solely use my $25 membership to take class with the fitness instructor, Sarah. Her classes are suited for people at every level as she gives variations for most moves. A positive community has sprouted up around this instructor who takes the time to get to know her “athletes” and bring them new sequences to fun music Monday-Thursday. It’s a blast!

  • Melanie Chow

Every time I have come to this location it has been dirty and too crowded no matter what time I went. Other EOS locations have more squat racks, which causes less wait, and are much cleaner. The floor and mirrors were filthy here. Some of equipment needs replacing as well, I saw dumbbells that were very worn. I generally like EOS, just not this location. There is plenty of parking though, which is the only plus.

  • A Bustamante

Definitely improved service and cleanliness since my last review. I think there corporate was visiting today so it was extra clean. I did not care fore their corporate managers, pointing at people and employees, talking down to them. It was rude for a staff that is trying their best. I guess this is more for EOS regional management, but you all have to be nicer, and don't make a stink face when you are visiting.

  • Michelle Pages

I canceled a week into my membership and three weeks later i was charge $75. I called again to get refunded and cancel AGAIN and a month after my first charge i was charged over $100! This is insane! There is never a manager available to help and they keep telling me to come in person when I have explained a hundred times I don't even live in that state, hence the reason to cancel. Ridiculous customer service.

  • Yesenia Marin

They make it so hard to cancel a membership! And so many hidden fees they dnt tell you about! I tried canceling my membership a while ago and they make it impossible that only a manager can do it and I never catch the manager to cancel it!!!!! They make super difficult. 0 stars if possible Not mention leaking issues all over the facility! Women locker room has buckets and towels all over the floor!

  • Uliya Tsybulka

Terrible. Signed up for this gym’s membership before they opened - the opening kept getting delayed. Then the pandemic started and I moved out of LA. BEFORE they opened. Recently found out that they’ve been charging me for the membership since they opened (which they didn’t notify me of, the opening or the charges). Never stepped foot in this gym. And never will. This is a scam.

  • Victor Veloz

It is very crowded in the evenings. People are overall respectful. The staff is friendly, but they do not go out of their way to be helpful. There is always at least one machine per row out of service, and it remains out of service for many months. The men's changing room and bathrooms smell deplorable. Nevertheless, it is a large and well-supplied gym with many amenities.

  • Saul Malone

This gym is fine considering the price and the staff are pretty nice but trying to find parking here is akin to sticking your hand into a blender and turning it on. Also, a lot of the time equipment is taken up by groups of high schoolers who do one set every ten minutes, which is extremely tight. 2 stars seems mean but 3 stars is too high. It's 2 and a half.

  • Ilona Alanakyan

Gym always dirty. No one cleans it. Always broken equipment. No air conditioner at all. The leg room feels like you’re in a hot sauna. Only positive is it’s cheap. Other than that this location is terrible. I’ve been to super nice locations in Arizona and Hawaiian Gardens, CA. Clean. Air conditioned. Well lit. This one is like a poor planet fitness

  • Kelvin Celis

Worst gym. Roofs leaks, equipment takes a long time to get repaired, bathrooms dirty af, all the staff just hang out and don't bother to keep anything clean. Parking lot is ridiculous. They close up the second floor because it's "full" and yet there's empty spaces. Your better off at another gym tbh. Glad I cancelled my membership

  • liliana torres

This is the worst gym. Every time that I come in the machines don’t work. It’s a very disgusting. Worst part theres creepy guys you can’t even work out peacefully. I don’t recommend no one to come in to this gym. They lied to you that is not packed when is every time no matter what time you come in just to get your money. 0 stars

  • David Sacco

POV: it’s chest day, but all the bars on half the benches have been taken off to some far off place and never returned. The dumbbells aren’t available and also not in use…just left all over the gym. You finally get one of the benches with a bar and the ceiling drips water on your face, even though it’s not raining.

  • Jason Garcia

One of the worst gyms that I have visited to be able to talk to a manager you have to wait hours to make a cancellation they lie to you that everything is ready but they always keep charging you and then you call and they tell you that you never canceled terrible service if you are new I do not recommend this gym.

  • Kimberly Bowen

I really enjoyed this gym and there is a lot of different machines and equipment to use. Have it taken advantage of the pool yet but plan to. Group classes are fun and the instructors are motivating and give great feedback. Parking can be tricky during busy times, would recommend working out during odd hours.

  • Stephen P

It's great value for the price, but that's all there is. As multiple users have mentioned before, theft is rampant at this location and management does nothing about it. I recently had my locker broken into and was told the manager would call within a few days. Nothing. Would recommend finding another gym.

  • Tyler Stewart

No AC so it’s literally always SO hot, empty dumbbell racks, pool is eternally closed, 45 minute wait for barbells, no mask enforcement, extremely crowded always. If you need something cheap this place is bearable but I’m so much happier at a new gym. Staff is friendly and it’s clean enough.

  • Mo Cow

I’ve been going here for 8 months and sad to go. Pro: -Great equipment -Friendly staff -Parking available - Great movie screenings Con: -Humid bathrooms -Cleanser bottle aren’t always filled with product and make it hard to clean your workout area - dirty water stations - crowded after 5pm

  • Noel Sanchez

Adriana and her staff at the front are always amazing and friendly people. always keeping me and my friends in a happy mood. The gym is amazing never had any issues at the gym. I did speak to Adriana about bachata classes and hopefully in the future that can happen … fingers crossed .

  • Justin Scorza

Not a bad gym, just not very nice either. A good selection of workout equipment, pool, and cardio room where they show movies. But there's always a bad smell, many machines are broken, and condensation on the pipes in the ceiling means you will randomly have water dropping down on you.

  • Jesse Till

Looks a little dingy. Felt more like a dungeon and less like a gym, which is to be expected by commercial gyms. The layout was a bit confusing. If you're only looking to workout, this is a prime place to be but, it does get busy so use your rest time to wait for your next exercise

  • D Garcia

I cancelled last week, still charged me fees, they are still charging me and using my checking info to charge me illegally when I’m not even a member and no one is answering my calls, so no go to this gym. Or company be forewarned they will take your money without asking

  • Sir Charles Upshaw

This gym has all the equipment, but it is always very crowded. Also, everytime i have come here and wanted to take a shower after my workout, there is never any hot water available. There is always some out of order equipment and free weights missing also.

  • Carrie Schaff

I tried to quit this gym for 8 MONTHS! I emailed 5 people went into the gym and not a single person would help me end my membership and get reimbursed for the charges that continued. I enjoyed going here but leaving here was so traumatizing don’t do it!!!

  • Jerrold Hidalgo

If you want your bag stolen even with a lock on, this gym is the place to go! Lost more than $500 worth. Managers don’t even care and never return your calls even if you leave em a dozen messages. Soon as they take your money, you’re on your own.

  • Saile Molina

Much of the equipment and machines are out of order and the showers have an odor, floors are dirty especially under the mats, they don’t seem to be cleaned often. Been waiting for it to be cleaned for a while but might have to try a new location.

  • fedros ghadiri

very poor customer service, they told me I can get 3 personal training sessions with 20$ then they told me I get to decide if I want to stay with the fitness program or not, after the three sessions and when my third session came I noticed

  • Antonio Bustamante

Classes are nice and spin theaters is great but everything else is a mess. Overcrowded, disrespectful gym members, and lack of cleanliness. The gym staff doesn't really care that much. I consistently watch gym members leave dumbells on the

  • M

After my free trial of the gym, I decided to sign up with EOS fitness because of the affordability of the gym membership, the hours of operation (24 hours/7days), the equipment options, and the outstanding friendly service that I received.

  • chico

Great facility- always busy. I have to wait until 12 at night to go, and even then I have to wait for every single machine to use it. It's not worth the low price if i have a horrible experience every time. And not to mention you have to

  • Jesus Escamilla

I am only maintaining myself physically so the gyms works ok for me even though it’s always crowded, cleaning it’s decent and it takes forever to get something fixed. I know we go to the gym to sweat but my biggest complain is the AC.

  • Mary Dieguez

They do false advertising, and they lie to you just to sell you a product. They are not even worth their price. Their parking is very limited, and their appliances keep malfunctioning and take forever to be fixed. Do NOT recommend.

  • O M

This place continues to go downhill… bathroom is always FILTHY! Weights are scattered through out the gym.. staff is friendly though, but that’s it… machines are always broken spin bikes always broken… machines missing parts…

  • HairFreek Barbers

I'm sorry I had to change my review. I was really happy at first. This gym was way better than other gyms in the area. But a lot more gyms have opened. Before signing up, I was told another EOS was going to open soon, in the

  • Logan Carstensen

The most disgusting EoS I’ve been to. Water leaking in the ceiling everywhere, rusty equipment, smelly bathrooms with no soap in the dispensers…did I mention the puddles of water everywhere from the leaky ceilings? …

  • Dillon Kamand

Crowded at 11 AM on a Monday. The personal trainers try to strong arm you off equipment when you’re mid set saying they reserved a bench. Poorly ran, took forever to receive confirmation my membership was cancelled.

  • Loren Velasquez

Whoa talk about a whole nother experience! A theater in the gym with all cardio equipment for $10 a month with free parking! What! You cannot beat this! Clean locker room with sauna and pool! Wow!

  • Natalia Pierson

It isn’t my home gym, however I love all EoS network. They always have great stuff, the best instructors, and functional equipment. Considering the price, it’s simply the best choice you can make.

  • Maria G Gomez

I was a little disappointed that the clothes wringer was not working. Also, the ladies locker floor was dirty and you can tell some of the restrooms needed cleaning. The pool had a lot of debris.

  • Maria Lainez

This gym is so convenient, they have good workout machines, offer classes and trainings as well. It is people friendly and so far have not felt judged by others. I definitely recommend!

  • Baybee Pretty

I have been going to eos fitness with my friend. They never have the air conditioning on. They don't clean. They don't respond to customers by phone, email or in person.

  • Ankit C

This treadmill is out of order more than 6 months for sure... Updated: another machine is out. They increased monthly payment hope it can help them fix these machines

  • Josh

This place non consensually littered my property as well as my entire neighborhood with their annoying flyers. All they've made me do is hate them.

  • Aldo Urbano

Cancel all training membership within 30 days of your last day training so you won't get charged. For the next, so call month to month charge.

  • Mark Stokes

Great looking inside. Under 10 minutes to sign up, and no contracts! Used the pool for the 1st time. Had it all to myself. Beautiful & clean.

  • Kim Sinton

Great customer service at this EŌS fitness. Monica and Ivan both helped me find everything since I normally train in the Scottsdale EŌS.

  • Jose L Sotelo

Almost perfect but when i try to use the recovery room always there’s a homeless sleeping for ours and nobody said and do nothing.

  • Josh O

Nasty gross dirty smells like mold dust on the fans above and the pipes above are covered in dusty grime too!!! …

  • Low key Fire

Gym was always full. Parking is a hassle and tge wait time for machines was way to long.

  • cole planinz
