This is place is OKAY. Let me explain. I currently attend this school (Currently in my last year of Middle school, year 9) Facilities: The facilities are average, by that I mean gum stuck under the tables and a lot of broken chairs, including tables where the surface isn't even attached to the table frame which makes it hard to write or do work on. On the good side there's decent toilets (Which do get abused) and rooms/areas. Lockers other than the year 8 ones are dirty and old. The lockers are poor standard and there's literally cockroaches and giant spiders roaming around (Which we have taken care of ourselves), and there is debris and dirt in the bottom lockers. Education: The education is, well, normal. Some teachers are annoying and rude, I encountered a teacher who wanted me to wait for her to get to the door so she can go inside before I went out to my lockers (Keep in mind I could've walked out ages ago and I was not in trouble or any sort). Most teachers are actually good it's just that small portion that ruins it for everyone. Sometimes there's certain things that are unfair for the students but are gone unnoticed. My friend in a different class was never notified of the upcoming test and the teacher suddenly announced it, which took everyone by surprised. And then they failed the test. Other: Dress code kinda sucks, there's not really any point of having different coloured socks and if it's extra cold we can't wear additional outer layers but only inner layers (And it's been told we can't make the shirt showing beneath the official uniform shirt). General: It's okay, everything is average, you can't really expect anything amazing in a government funded public school like this. One thing I like is the canteen foo

Don't send your children here. The teachers and students are both abusive and obscenely toxic. There will be screaming in their faces, there will be bias, there will be bullying from both staff and students. If you send your child here you run the very real risk of your child killing themselves. I thought highschool was hell, until I graduated from here and realised it was just this place. If these people (students AND staff) acted the same in the real world, they would be locked up in either prison or a mental ward. This school is hell. This is not some prank or trolling. This is a genuine warning. Stay far, far away from this school. One example is when in year 8 the year level co-ordinator told me I would never be anything but a dropout. The school often encourages/coerces struggling students to just give up and leave so that they can market themselves favorably by saying 'look, so many of our students do well in VCE!' yes, because you eliminated anyone who wasn't doing well to skew the results. By the way I did drop out, went to a different school and now I have a higher education than any of those loser 'staff' that mistreated us back then. Absolutely no thanks to this school. EDIT: There are a few gems among the teachers here who actually care and do their job well. Not worth the damage it will do, however.

We were moving to East Doncaster from Geelong and right from my first phone call to the office staff I seemed to be running into brick walls and rude people. It wasn't until I was contacting the Education Department for help that the school finally found my daughter a spot. This should of been enough indication that this school wasn't for her. Throughout my daughters 15 months at the school and hating it I decided to exit her from there and yet again came up against red tape although my daughter is of the legal age to leave school. The only person at the school who seemed to care was Jen Brown the Student Wellbeing Officer. If it wasn't for Jen we would still be ripping our hair out. I wouldn't recommend EDSC to any future student or family

I am a student of the school. I personally say it's a good school with positive teachers and decent facilities. But I have to point out the lockers, it would be an average because some are modernised but others not and doesn't look the best as others. Other than that, everything seems good quality and better than average. I'm just in my freshman year :) This year so far is going well with decent education and more.

as use to be part of this school, i have to say the teacher are friendly and positive. this is a great choice to let your child or your friend's child to study. the teacher will try their best to teach and able to let class very funny. they always come up interesting activity and group for student, which increase students'interest in learning and meet more friends. this is also a great idea to avoid bullies.

This school is pretty average, with normal facilities (except for the lockers, which are a bit disgusting) and pretty average teachers. A lack of care is given to students and the uniform rule is absolutely terrible. When it was 0 degrees outside, all i had to wear was a terrible jacket and a blazer. At least it's better than Blackburn

The school is overall alright. The system at the school is slightly flawed and needs some tweaks. The minority of teachers at the school are really good... the rest is pretty average. However, the facilities are very well built with effort, but are mistreated by the students. Social groups are a problem too.

As a student who is currently in year 7 it was quite hard since of covid and i can tell the school has not handled covid as good as they could have. But generally if covid were not to of happened the year would of been great with all sorts of fun and educational activities planned for the whole year.

My high school... Some good memories. Overall, the education was pretty good. I guess the teaching is only as useful as the level of interest from the student. If you're willing to study, you'll likely succeed in any school. If not, you can attend the best school and you'll still not get anywhere.

  • Vxwsum

This place aint that good. Most teachers are bias and would fail you. Makes things so complicated and say “we would help you”. Why would you fail me after helping me? This school horrible. Unless your child can act all teacher pet like, do not come.

  • J L

Every contact to this school can only happen on the compass portal, even if you have an issue or concern to raise - they will not provide any human contact or assistance. Considering this is regarding your child, this is very disappointing.

  • Amin Sidaoui

My son has been there since 2018 and I can see his learning level is great. Now he is heading year 10, hopefully he will get an expressive result. My other son is doing his first year (year 7) which means double pressure from my end. …

  • Mr Huan

Amazing school culture with competitive yet motivated students across year levels. Very supportive and compassionate staff members. Decent facilities with organised resources. Definitely the college I would send my kids to in the future.

  • Andrea Galati

I attended this school in the 7th and 8th grade, I saw an insane year 10 girl slap a ginger student, highly recommend, she had cool hair. ps. Highly regretted my time here

  • Best Girl

School is decent. Teachers are phenomenal. Students are mixed, they’re either great or terrible, with some quiet ones. I only rate this so because of the teachers.

  • reggie

This school is disgusting in hygiene and safety with gum under the tables, broken chairs, dirty tables, unhealthy canteen food and more. Don't recommend.

  • 张小雨

Disgusting, kids needs to be locked up in a mental hospital. Keep on jumping each other and bullying, it’s so toxic
