Large shopping centre/complex in Ringwood, recently refurbished and enlarged. The new glass ceiling is architecturally interesting and has a resemblance to the new section in Chadstone, but on a much much smaller scale. Certainly the centre looks bright and modern and has everything you could need. The complex itself is quite disjointed with the newer parts and if not familiar with it it's not too hard to get lost. Make sure you remember where you parked! Unfortunately the food court is the same as before, no larger. It can get very crowded at busy times and hard to find a seat. Plenty of other Cafes and eateries sprinkled around the centre though with most of the major franchises represented.
A fairly modern shopping centre. It's very accessible by PT with just a short walk, it has lots of different shops here similar to most larger malls, the aisles are very large so it's easy to get around without bumping into a lot of other people. Despite being only two main floors though, if you haven't been here before, there aren't many directories telling you where some of the minor stores are, so you may get confused trying to find a particular shop. It's most likely designed like that to entice you to search through the other stores on your walk when you finally find the store you were looking for.
Easty is by far the easiest shopping centre to find your way around. Unlike other confusing shopping centres, the layout is more simple and there's a good variety of stores inside. I personally love the outdoor restaurant area. In summer, it's the perfect place to sit and chill. I like how in December the Christmas tree decorations hang from the ceiling in the middle of the shopping centre. I think some more arty/creative stores would be cool to have in future.
The most unwelcoming shopping centre in Melbourne. The security guards hang around the entrance like it's a prison and eyeball me every single time I come to do some shopping. I'm so sick of it and it makes me hate going there, and more often than not I will go to Knox City instead for this very reason. Maybe you could train them to smile or something instead of profiling everyone as criminals. I never get this at any other shopping centre in Melbourne.
Yuk. I don't like huge labyrinth like shopping malls. I It is packed though, so plenty of people must love it. Each to their own. There are loads of shops, takeaway, restaurants, and cinemas. All of the usual suspects, plus plenty more. Top tip. Don't forget which car park you parked in, on which level, and whereabouts you left your car. That is all academic though, if you can't remember where you entered the centre. I've been here for four days now. .
Fantastic and modern designed shopping center in the heart of Ringwood. Love that the interiors are beautifully designed and renovated, clean and simple that just enhances the whole shopping experience. Like that there’s target, Kmart, big w, coles and woolies, David Jones and Myers, a 5 star cinema, all in one building. Not to mention so many delicious restaurants to dine at. It just makes it so fun, convenient and exciting to shop here.
Eastland is a great shopping centre with a lot of the ‘big name’ shops. It can get quite busy and the car park can get a bit crazy in those busy times. Usually the higher up in the car park you go the quieter it is. There are quite a few choices in the food court and cafes scattered around the rest of the centre. Outside there are a few restaurants. Parking is free for 3 hours. It is right next to the train station.
My friend was in the disability toilet as she was doing her things as she is pregnant which is uncomfortable for public one. But the security guy (bald white skin) came open the door and kick us out this incident happened around (1500. 15/10) Unpleasant experience. we understand pregnancy is not a disability but, how is it wrong for a person to feel more secure and comfortable to use a toilet.?
Way too, too, big. Trouble with all large shopping centres think BIG is better. For our ageing population, with favourite shops being continually surrounded by new, find it far harder to access from their cars which, of course, remain outside their ease of travel and are being forced back to their Mum and Dad shops of earlier years, closer to home. SHAME!
Everything in one place. Really love to go this place. It's very clean. One of my favourite shopping malls. Plenty of parking. Parking is free for three hours. Number of shops located here. Quite busy shopping center. Can have different flavours of food. Most of the shops close by 5 pm. Children have small play areas. Children can enjoy mini car rides.
A clean and modern shopping centre comparable to those at the CBD area. There are hmmm.. 1 or maybe 2 supermarkets and departmental stores. A good place to walk, window shop, eat and relax. There is a food court that serve many kinds of mouth-watering food but we ended up eating burgers at Grilled (pls see my review at Grilled for details :).
Didn't expect this place to be as big as it was from my first visit. Absolutely stacks of stores, loads of nice food places, clothing, games and hobby shops. Nice big open layout, so never felt cramped. Clean pretty much end to end, and a fairly large amount of parking. As far as mid-sized malls go, can't go wrong with Eastland!
This is a great place to shop, all the stores you could need and more. We went upstairs near the movie cinema for some pancakes but the options are vast. Ample parking. A stand out store for me was the board game store which carries an impressive amount of games and their expansions. This centre is very easy to navigate.
Huge shopping centre in the east of Melbourne very modern ‘ very clean ‘ just about every shop you can think of . plenty of car parking . Three hour limit on parking then there is A steep payment system. You can walk around in the place for hours could only take a few pictures
Great shopping centre with a good variety of shops. The layout of the centre makes it easy to navigate. The car park however is a big confusing mess and the spiral ramp is far too tight and it had the scratches from all the cars hitting its walls to prove it.
Really nice shopping centre since the renovations. Has everything you would need and the lay out works well. The parking is always pretty good every time we go and you get free parking for the first part of your stay (I think 3 hours from memory).
Never seen anything like it. The design and fit out is nothing short of an architectural milestone, we depend into the shops through the mouth of a whale, fitout takes you into the body with massive ribs in the roof. Stunning array of shopping
Food court needs some more variety of food. All I could see was sushi & Japanese shops. Ended up eating KFC which was hard as a rock the chicken.... But shops are great and beautifully done up for sea ocean animals week :)
It's a shopping centre with a fairly nice vibe and plenty of stuff to do, like most shopping centres. Some very weird narrow escalators though when going up and down the level to reach the cinema. Seems very quirky.
Very spacious, nice and clean modern shopping centre. Plenty of shopping options available. Food court offers a great variety of cuisines. Plenty of parking equipped with high tech plate recognition capabilities.
Great shopping centre - shame Minimax has gone and that David Jones & Myer have reduced their floorspace. You can, however, find traditional pointed mixed sandwiches there - a rare & unusual treat these days!
This is a great shopping centre with lots of shops. Gave 4 star only because of parking. It has hundreds of parking may be even more but its always a struggle to find an empty one.
This place has got nearly everything. Architecture is nice inside, especially the cathedral like transparent vaulted ceiling.. it's like a church to shopping in the secular world.
Fantastic spacious mall with a huge variety of shops and food hall. Multi level shopping and a huge underground carpark. Very clean well attended to toilets
Very fancy nowadays. The shops are all new looking and far less people on drugs. You basically need a GPS tracker for your car now though...
I really liked the shopping centre. Food court is really good. Almost every store is in the shopping centre. Plenty of parking …
Nice shopping Centre for family! Coles, Woolworth, K-Mart, Daiso, Uniqlo, Myer, David Jones, Big W, Smiggle, food court, etc.
A wide variety of great brands. Best part is 4 different playgrounds plus time zone to entertain kids.
I love Eastland, however I do think the parking fees are too high especially if you’re there all day.
