DAYMAK is the worst e-bike and the after-sales service I have ever seen. I am in the scooter Li-ion battery trade for 3 years all my customers complain DAYMAK a horrible experience. I also have two incidents with them. I never recommend DAYMAK or E-BIKE UNIVERSE their service partner as good business places to go. THEY WOULD LIKE TO KEEP THEIR HANDS ALWAYS IN YOUR POCKET. INCIDENT 1 I went with my DAYMAK ROME E scooter bike to get repaired a steering issue. First, they charged $ 65 CAD saying that they charge one hour labor to find out the issue. They promised they would call me within two days and email my receipt for the payment since the printer did not work. I did not get any call or e-mail. I went after a week. They looked at me just like I came to rob a bike since they could not find any record and I didn't have any document. I found my scooter was parked with the others. I pointed out it. A guy went to it and asked for my name and got verified it is as my e-scooter. Then they told a part called Triple tree is not available in the stock and asked for a week to find it. I went for several weeks and they could not find it. A guy was trying to explain that my bike is 3 to 4 years old and they do not carry parts. I told them it has run less than 100 Km even though it is 3 years old. He was telling me that they do not have a responsibility to import parts for old e-scooters they sold. THIS IS THE AFTER-SALES SERVICE OF DAYMAK. Never buy it if you want to save your money. The payment invoice and pictures are attached as the witness. INCIDENT TWO I asked for a pair of front signal lights and a rear signal light for a DAYMAK Rome e-bike they sold. The salesgirl called a guy inside and asked him to find whether they are in stock. My bike was inside there garage but he never tried to match the parts with it. He came with some signal lights and told me they are good for DAYMAK ROME. He took my credit card went inside the store and came with the invoice and the signal lights. I found the Invoice was wrong. It mentioned two rear signal lights and one front signal lights. He didn't want to change it. He said "It is okay since the price is the same" I took them home and found the pair of front signal lights are different than the original. The sales guy has given something totally different. After two days I went to get them exchanged. Another guy came out and told me, "We don't exchange or refund after we sell something. It is our policy. It is written everywhere." He was showing me the posters. I explained to him that there sales guy gave me that saying it was the suitable lights for DAYMAK ROME. He called the salesperson. The salesperson was crying from inside " He asked for the signal lights for DAYMAK ROME" ....! I told "But it is different. Please check on the bike. it is inside". He replied but it is our policy not to return money or exchange parts. WONDERFUL. He said the parts were perfect and sold me. Now it has become my fault that I did not match the parts with the bike sitting inside their service department. I am having it. I am taking legal action to get my money, legal charges, and with a compensation of another $ 5000 for my time and hassle they made. Never go there if you want to save your money and time. I met many clients standing outside waiting for parts that they have ordered months ago. Everyone had frustration but nothing ****** Later I complained this to Better Business Bureau the answer they sent asking the clients to not to come is attached as a picture. I am an unhappy Daymak customer. Daymak sold me a defective blue Tokyo E-Bike. I bought my E-Bike at the Oakdale location, for around $1,300 dollars. Before I bought my E-Bike, I asked Marsha (Daymak employee), for a receipt, and invoice. I said I wanted something to prove that I purchased one of your E-Bikes, and all she did was asked me to sign a document that was a warranty, and she kept it at the E-Bike shop. I was told by one of the male employees who work there to look straight ahead when I drive an E-Bike. They didn't have a proper terrain, for me to test their e-bike. I drove my e-bike in a small parking lot before I purchased it. I was told by Frank (Daymak employee) that short test drives are made with their E-Bikes, and this was after I bought my E-Bike. It did not take me too long, for me to notice that my new E-Bike was defective. When I drove my E-Bike, I would stop at red lights, and then I would look at my LCD display. My LCD display was showing me that my E-Bike was not properly functioning. I paid, for a delivery truck to come, and pick up my E-Bike to bring it to their shop when it was probably still under warranty. After my E-Bike was examined, it was delivered back to me, and I think it was damaged. When I drove my E-Bike, both of my mirrors were spinning in circles. Daymak sent me a new battery, and charger, and what they gave me did not solve my problem. One of the male employees who I spoke with at Daymak said to me there is nothing wrong with your E-Bike, and my E-Bike was probably still under warranty. I contacted two different E-Bike shops, so I can get a second, and third opinion about my defective E-Bike. I was told to make sure their is enough air in my tires. I tried putting more air in my tires, and this did not solve my problem. I was also told that the quality of my battery, and my weight were the reasons why my E-Bike was not able to go 40km - 50km. My Tokyo E-Bike was suppose to go in distance 40 - 50 km with a full charged battery. I should have been driving about 8.6km Monday to Friday to get to my destination, and another 8.6km to get back home. If I remember correctly, my E-Bike went over 8.6km on each trip. My E-Bike should have been driven about 17km, for two trips per day. My E-Bike was going around 22km in distance, and when I reached near 22km, then my E-Bike started to slow down, and sometimes it stopped. I was driving my E-Bike in warm, and cold weather. On one of the routes I took, I was driving over one small hill on a road. During the winter season, I was able to drive my E-Bike, for around 11km, or 12km in distance, and around 22km in warmer seasons, and I used a full charged battery. I had two accidents with my E-Bike. When I parked my E-Bike, it fell on one side. Because I let go of both of my handles. I did not put my kick stand on the ground, and as a result my E-Bike fell on one side, and then one of my mirrors cracked. The second accident I had was me losing control of my E-Bike, and then I fell off backwards on the road. My E-Bike trunk detached itself from my E-Bike, and their is a large crack on the side of my E-Bike. The last conversation I had with Frank was not good. Frank refused to give me a full refund, and he refused to exchange my E-Bike. Frank told me that customers are not going to want a used E-Bike if someone test drives it, for 15km - 20km. I told him I would have never bought an E-Bike if I knew their E-Bikes did not have a long test drive. Lastly I will not be buying anything anymore from Daymak.
A TERRIBLE DEATHLY DAYMAK MOBILITY SCOOTER. NEVER WILL I EVEN OR ENCOURAGE ANY ONE TO BUY ANY ONE. It was very difficult to access any Government Buses. The Toronto Bus Driver told me she were not sure if they were legit? I told them according to Daymak, it is a mobility Scooter. The Toronto Bus Driver was so kind to assist me by helping five (5) young men to lift the Daymak mobility scooter off the Bus. Because it was very difficult to get off the bus. Then, it was very complicated get into all the elevators. There is no very fine control for just going ¼ or ½ MPH It was extremely very difficult to get into any elevator. It was driving like 4-6 miles per hour (too fast) just to enter the elevators. Also Daymak mobility scooter was very fast even if I went to the slowest speed of the turtle. It got worse, when I went into the TCC, the Daymak mobility scooter would not stop moving. I turned it off but it still would NOT stop moving. Daymak mobility scooter moved from one end to the other of the TTC bus. I had to hold on to the hand bars and that still didn’t work. Applying the brakes did not work either. Eventually I got into the Go Train; however I was unable to get into the Go Bus. So the Bus Driver asked the manger of the Go Bus for assistance and she said no. I therefore had to pay for a Taxi, after paying for the Go train/Bus. I hardly drive the Daymak mobility scooter and it became very slow, eventually the Daymak mobility scooter broke down in the road. On the website it indicates that the mobility scooter has a 40+ KM range with a top speed of 32 KM/Hr. While the top speed is probably correct, the range of the scooter is NOWHERE near 40+KM which I absolutely need (traveling all around Hamilton) and I told Daymak and I need it and was assured that it would serve the purpose perfectly Whenever I tried to go up a hill, the Daymak mobility scooter did have enough power and went backward and I could not make it up the hill. I tried to use the brake but it never worked. Whenever I was on the sidewalk and I approached the intersection to cross the street where the sidewalk was graded down to meet the street, the Ebike would not stop on the sidewalk but would instead keep rolling forward even when you press the brakes. This made it unsafe as the Daymak scooter would end up partially on the road.
VERY DISAPPOINTED. We purchased a Bommerbuggy 2 seater in of May 2021 for my elderly parents and I have to say that it is a beautiful looking scooter. At the time when we were negotiating the purchase with Ebike Oakdale, they said everything we wanted to hear. 2 year warranty, they will come and pick up free under warranty and we really will have no worries. We purchased the scooter and for the first week they answered our calls promptly everytime. We shortly started noticing that the tail light wires and socket assembly was rubbing at times on the back wheels and the wires would be pulled and the light assembly pulled out of the socket. We indicated that the scooter springs were sagging already and affecting the tail light clearance. From that point on calls to service department put on their dancing shoes and finding excuses not to pick up calls or the scooter at their expense. We fixed the lights ourselves and as the scooter was not used much we lived with it. This April the springs sagged even more where the light lenses popped out and we had to call service to address it. Well now the warranty we were told was only 1 year on the body. Long story short they wanted nothing to do with it. We took our scooter to a local shop and found that the assembly of the springs was incorrect(Oakdale did assemble the scooter incorrectly). The adjustments were made, we paid the local shop and issues all went away. My advice, STAY AWAY, they have very poor service but good excuses why they can not address your issues after the purchase. One big excuse is that parts are not available as well. Can you believe that, a new product and parts are not available and there is nothing that they can do. . Very Sad.
I’m not the type to write reviews but this establishment... I had no choice in the matter. First off, they sold me an ebike with a faulty motor which caused me to be stranded several times and resulted in physical injury (heavy bike, useless pedals). I went in to the store to pick up my bike when they finally got around to repairing it after a week of calling them to get any sort of update on the process. They ignored me at the service desk for around 40 minutes while I waited for someone to fix the bike they had told me was already ready for pick-up. The main customer service rep (Frank, I believe) was horribly condescending. Second instance: today I noticed when the weight of a person was put on the rear wheel, what appeared fine, fizzled out and went flat. I tried to fix it and find the puncture myself to no avail. I called them up and got some helpful advice on how to find a puncture and told that if I was able to come in, the fee for a fix like that would be $10. I try again and give up. I call back. Some else answers. They tell me now that the repair fee is $100. I ask them why I was told $10 for my type of repair and he puts me on hold and then says it’s $30 for the repair. I ask to speak to the same representative I spoke to earlier and he tells me the person I spoke to was a mechanic who doesn’t know the pricing of the jobs he performs? Sounds fishy but okay. Every time I interact with this shop, I leave frustrated and unsatisfied with the customer service, if you can even call it that. Please do better.
Bought a Daymak phantom remote control ride on car for my son as a birthday day present. There are a number of issues with the build quality: 1. The windshield piece does not curve enough so it does not clip in the body properly. Once it is screwed in, the bottom portion simply sits with a gap. 2.The screw hole on the support bracket on the bottom was too big, where the screw went right through then instead of on top of them. 3. The seat is made with cheap plastic and is already lifting on one side on the second night after about 2 hours of total use. 4. The seat cushion is made with cheap plastic instead of leather as per the description of the car on the website. 5. The bracket that holds the charging port does not mount into the body because of uneven plastic clip. I had to shave a bit off to even it out to get it in. 6. The 2 motor covers squished the electrical wires because the cut out orientation is incorrect. 7. The steering wheel is exceedingly heavy. My son, who's a strong kid, had a hard time moving it. The Daymak site states no return unless item is unopened. However there was no way of discovering these issues unless the car is assembled. Overall I am very disappointed with the car and would not recommend it. My advice for anyone looking to make a similar purchase to go to a dealer that had a demo unit in order to inspect the build quality and test it out.
2 Month Update. Unfortunately I really want to give this store a better review but let my recent experience with them provide the details. Approximately 1 month after purchase the bike stopped working suddently while communiting home. Brought the bike to ebike universe and they corrected the issue under warranty. I then drove it for a couple of weeks without problems when suddenly the same thing happened. This time upon bringing it into the store the service team determined that the batteries were damaged and therefore are no longer covered under warranty. Cost to repair was quoted at $900. I will be looking elsewhere for my future purchases. Review Immediately After Purchase Welcoming, professional sales staff. Friendly mechanics. Excellent selection of ebikes. From traditional, step through ebikes to full motorcycle style electric scooters to mopeds, and boomer mobiles ebike universe has a great inventory. My experience with Shree was excellent. I walked in not knowing which bike to get and walked out with the right electric scooter for my commute. Highly recommended place to shop. Be aware that during the COVID-19 restrictions they are still open with a single person in at a time. Protocol is being followed to protect you and themselves.
Purchased Rogue from them and it came in POOR condition. Display panel was broken (not water resistance at all now), scratches everywhere, leftover paint on the side of the seat, the seat cannot be locked in properly and the kick stand was bent. It was bad to a point that it was not functional. I had to talk to their production manager Mr. Akili about how unsatisfied I was and I wanted to return the product. He said there's a mandatory 20% restocking fee with it or they can send me those broken parts to get it fixed. Restocking fee applies when an item gets returned and be restocked, this item is so broken and they are asking restocking fee from me? I asked him if I will get reimbursed by having a professional to replace my parts and that's when he stopped replying my e-mails nor picking up my phone calls for two weeks. I did not feel comfortable replacing and rewire my display panel at all not if I was ever specialized into electrician or anything like that. When I tried to talk to Mr. Akili more deficiencies and concerns, he would cut me off by saying "Thank you, thank you" to push the conversation to end. After paying $2,400 this is kind of the customer service a customer deserves?
First I would like to thank Dymark/ on Oakdale road for their professional attitude. During this time of COVId, it's been taxing on all corporations. I like the way my wife and I were greeted, only one person on the sales floor at a time.. Second, all staff were wearing face protections, and I had to be led around by a sales advisor.(Shree) I investigated bikes/scooters,, for a while, and decided that i wanted some type of scooter. Shree, a very informative, knowledgeable, salesperson, quickly moved me from scooter to e-bike, after explaining to him, what I required, from exercise and distance. Shree, and I went over several models, and decided on the Vermont 500V long range. After two days of riding and using the Vermont it is a fantastic bike/ with the e version. I suffer atrial fibrillation and this bike works to help me. to achieve my exercise goals. Sheree is a superstar of sales, very professional, friendly, and he worked with me to complete the transaction, and have delivery on time. To Shree and all the staff, thank you Your delivery person is very friendly, thank you for the gifts. Set up team thank you. Dymak is a great product.
I've had an ebike for 4 years. Ebike universe and Damac bring the best technology, to the Canadian market. For service and sales. Nobody compares. They are HONEST accurate. Not like most ebike service shops. THEIR TECHNICIANS ARE EBIKE MECHANICS. NOT HANDY MAN. FROM THE ADVISE I recieved from sales. FRANK.. was perfect. I wanted the big shiny one. But this serves my needs much better. Cost less. IT WAS CLEAR THEY HAD ME IN MIND, NOT A COMISIÓN CHEQUE. Same ppl work there since I bought it. That Says a lot. The management has made some amazing changes to try to handle the volume. Says alot about where they are heading. . Says a lot.. Go see over 1000 used ebikes in stock.. Ready to go for a steal. Literally. I have had only good experiences. I go 50 km a day on my chameleon 84v. Goes upto 70km/h no problem. . FOLLOW THE LAWS! Bluetooth controller. You can't go wrong.. . Other than having to wait for SERVICE. (BECAUSE I WOULDN'T EVEN CONSIDER TAKING IT ELSEWHERE. I give 6 stars. But there's a few shady ppl selling ebikes. Ez sources.. Is a pure scam shop.. Where ebike universe has integrity...IS HONEST.
Bought my first bike from these guys and it was delivered with a flat tire and hole in the seat which they took back and delivered another. That one lasted a long time. Needed some parts and was told that the parts will never come in. Bike was 2 years old. After much debate I bought a second one from here even though I really didn’t want to. About a month after the bike makes a loud grinding noise so I get it in to the shop. Mechanic later tells me it’s this BUT because this and that is rusty they need to be fixed before sending it back. THEN the “work” they did do was novice at best. Broke a chain cover, added a second, breaker switch, supposedly changed out the part but looked like they just cleaned it up, and on top of it sent it BACK to me missing screws!!! Also I had asked for the old parts back and was told they had thrown them out. Needless to say not happy with this location. Bad customer service and won’t be going back to them for anything!!!! They act like your buddy and there for the customer but they really aren’t. Save the headache and go somewhere else.
I recently lost my drivers license due to a medical condition. I was very stressed and needed a means of transportation to go to work. I visited EBIKE UNIVERSE and was greeted by an employee named Domenic. From the minute I walked into the store he was attentive, polite, patient and knew his product like the back of his hand. I was very confused when I walked into the store and Domenic calmed me down and helped me make the right choice for my needs. I picked up my bike the next day. Domenic took his time to go over the bike with me in detail. I left the store feeling like I have been a customer for years and needless to say I was 100% satisfied. EBIKE UNIVERSE IS WHERE YOU WANT TO GO!!! A big THANK YOU to Domenic (and the entire staff) for turning a very stressful situation into a pleasant event!!! 5 STARS TO DOMENIC and EBIKE UNIVERSE!! Any company would be much better off if they had employees such as Daymak...and I'm not kidding! Due to some physical constraints, I'm not able to drive, and as a result, needed an alternative in order to get around to do errands. I searched for ages to look for something in my price range, and something that I would be able to use. I came across Daymak, and they were incredible. They not only were able to discuss what I needed, but also went out of there way to make sure that it was actually what I could use, and not just a sale for them. ...and it wasn't just my initial contact (Nick), but also the local people that he put me in touch with, so that my order (Florence e-trike) could be executed with as little inconvenience to me as possible. I am really, and sincerely grateful to these people for what they have done. Now I'll be able to do my grocery, shopping, laundry, and other stuff that I would not otherwise have been able to do. Daymak has to be the absolute best place to go for all your Electric bike, scooter or mobility scooters anywhere. I'm posting this review for my mother and her experience. Frank was her salesman and was an absolute amazing person and went out of his way to ensure my mother was taken care of on more than one occasion. She bought a mobility scooter and was absolutely ecstatic about Frank's service and knowledge. Then a couple of months later she had to bring it in for a service. Not only did they take care of her right on the spot without any hesitation. But they went over and above when she expressed concern about her basket being able to come off too easy. So they mounted it so that it doesn't come off at all without even charging her. On top of the excellent service, they had the scooter ready for her the same day. I'd recommend Daymak to anyone and everyone looking for the best place to buy their electric mobility devices
Purchased my.very first ebike from this location, and have nothing but good things to say about the gentleman who helped me get the right bike for my size, and needs. Ali was courteous, professional, and for the way I like to do business (do my own research, ask the questions I need to and hope to get the answers I'm already looking for) in this regard Ali was perfect to deal with. He sold me the bike I needed, and did not try to over sell and even recommended the bike that was on sale. I am now the proud owner of the Wildgoose 60v with a 500watt motor. (Arctic camo). Picked it up today, and what a beautiful bike. Rode it home. and i was blown away by the power. Going over the overpass on Sheppard @the 400 was a breeze. The bike confidently climbed the hill with ease. Its day 1, but I am over the moon with this bike. Thank you Ali, and Daymak. I cant wait to have some fun on this thing. One happy customer.
Paid almost $7000 after taxes for the ultimate beast mobility scooter and has been nothing but problems from day one. Ten minutes of riding it it over heated and shut down. Still having the same problem. The speedometer does not work so you have no idea of the speed that you are doing. On daymak web site it advertises up to 90 km on a charge. Not even half of that realistically. The bike has been in the shop more than I have had it. When I took it back to were I purchase it they took it back to daymak and was told nothing is wrong. Be very careful when buying one. To update the problems that I have had with Daymak I have called the 800 number and was hung up on 5 times and when I called directly to the manufacturer twice I was told that they were going to call me Back. What a joke I’m still waiting after nearly two months. Don’t waste your money.
My name is Howard rocket I'm disabled and here is my experience With Daymak/e bike. there should be no stars! I don't know how to fix the star review . good sales person terrible customer service . They charge to pick up and deliver you bike if there is a problem . Reasonable I guess if it's your fault however my e bike took off at Stoplight on its own and I was almost killed! There was a defective part not my fault they repaired it without giving me s a quote first. Then they held my bike hostage till they received cash! $230! They won't let me talk to the president owner... I give them a 10 for customer DIS service and a 0 for customer service and communication !!... I'd still be prepared to discuss this with the owner.... If I don't hear from him I would never buy a Daymak product again or deal with e bike universe
I am sad to have to write this review, but I feel compelled to. I purchased a Daymak Chameleon in 2015. I love the bike, but have been having problems with chargers ever since I purchased the bike. In November of 2016, my charger died, so I bought an extra one. Since then, both chargers have died - so now I can no longer charge my bike. I phoned service and was made to feel as though I was the problem, despite the fact that I followed the instruction on the charger "to the letter" and have always been very careful. I would hesitate to purchase from this company as I feel that they "blame" their customers for the shortcomings of their products. Moreover, I do not want to deal with companies that I feel are trying to "nickel and dime" me to death at every turn.
Would have rated higher but the quality of parts and service from one of ypur dealers is worse then dollarramas quality of product and a dollarrama employee has more knowledge of your bikes then perri ebikes in oshawa which has screwed us two seasons now out of using our Vienna rocket and there isn't any Other dealer repair service in our area. First replacement rim chunks fell out of the rim in 2 days of replacement. The replacement for that the idiots wrapped the controller wire around the rear axle . A wire around moving parts smart not wire is all frayed and another repair. Bike cost 1400 new and put our 600$ in repairs in less then 3 years of owning it. Tires batteries etc I understand but rims and wires because of shoddy craftsmanship. BUY EMMO

The trike is new but the service and manners are definitely old school! If you are buying a recumbent trike or a mobility scooter anywhere else, you are making a huge mistake. These people have the staff, service and attitude to make your experience awesome. From the folks I chatted with online, who helped me set up the purchase, painlessly, to the lads in the service department, who stay late to help me load and make sure everything was right, this company was a real joy to deal with. Let's put it this way ... they have the vehicles, the service, the price and the old-fashioned attitude to gladden an old Scotsman's heart! Well done, if I could give you 10 Stars I would!
I was showing some one the bike I was looking at , and a message popped up saying how can I help you, I said give me a call : 1 minute later I was talking to Frank when I left my number , we started talking and after a great conversation I was sold , set me up with a bike that was more for me , very knowledgeable and he cared about what I was getting, I also said I seen a couple bad reviews on the website , he assured me that my experience wouldn't make the bad list. I work with people from all walks of life (I know folks) and I could really hear it in his voice that I was getting a great product and if there was any issues never hesitate to get ahold of him.
Got my bike towed there for a flat tire and hed light. The guy called me and quotes me 575as they have to take it apart to look for a short in the light and also put a chain on. I quote i can't release the bike without a chain it's against the law..anyway i told him to forget about the short and just put a new bulb in. Anyway with a spare tire 2 new thing's that u put the air in with 189. I asked them to plug it in and they didn't. I made it half way and had to push to a gas station. At the station the guy was great he pluged it in checked the tires and the front was half flat. They fixed the back 1 properly and there was no light or chain put on
two bikes later and i am out over 2 grand in 2 years. The instruction manual failed to instruct me on the keyless starter and i had an accident while parked that destroyed the steering making it n safe to drive and causing an accident that left me scar ed over 4 % o f my body. Its been 6 month since i bought the new bike and its bee in the shot over 7 weeks in total with repeat repairs on the same issues covered under warranty, but now its 100% for pick up and delivery to repair the lemon they sold me....btw those great speakers are junky it they fall off like mine did use pipe ribbon and a pipe clamp around the post to repair it
I bought my girlfriend a pedal assist bike from here this summer, I should have gone with her to pick it up but for over $1400 I overpaid (can find this same bike elsewhere for $1150) the kickstand was not installed correctly, there was damage on the motor hub, the fenders were not installed correctly, the plastic backing was falling off the seat. Apparently the lady at the store said "the battery gets stuck some times" we have been unable to remove the battery at all! The mechanism is seized, I've used power tools on it but it's just broken. Extremely unhappy with the quality of the bike and the components used are low quality.
Purchased an Eagle Deluxe after an excellent recommendation from the salesman Frank. They were warm and friendly, and very knowledgeable. I was assisted in getting the best bike for me, as per my needs through the year. Additionally, I was informed the best care for my bike, and directed on how to use the Daymak Drive app, as well as the features from my Eagle Deluxe. It took me a little longer than expected to get my bike, but that was due to the busy season, and I can see why after my experience with this location. Wait was well worth it! I will be, and have been, recommending Daymak products from this store in the future!
I purchased a Daymak Wild Goose in april. I've recently ran into a issue where the crank where the peddle is has broken so the peddle would keep falling off. I have tried for the last two weeks to call to no one ever picking up the phone I've called a dozen times with screenshots to prove it is under warranty but due to the neglect from the store I've sadly now had to fix it out of pocket that cost me $138 at a bike shop off albion rd. Extremely dissatisfied as a customer. Although the Daymak Wild Goose is a amazing product the distributor needs help with customer service. I feel I was neglected a customer
My friend and I came in to look for an e-bike scooter a few weeks ago and had a great experience at this store. Domenic was so pleasant to deal with, he was extremely helpful with his excellent knowledge of all the scooters. He was very patient in taking the time to explain each bike and give advice, letting us try out each model, which led to the perfect bike (the Chameleon) for my friend. The bike was delivered on time, and has been so much fun to ride, a great choice. I highly recommend checking out this store if you are looking for an e-bike scooter. I have owned 3 different brand ebikes. The last ebike I bought this summer was daymak beast. THE WORST EBIKE EVER!!! Broke down 5 times in three months, I have to walk the bike home for two hours! This bike is poorly build compair my other two bikes. Wires hanging all over the place and two screws missing after one week riding... Also the solar panel is useless. 5 hrs charge under the sun gets me no where, I mean NO WHERE. Called ebikeuniverse couple times for solution and they have no idea what to do to fix my bike. I am going to sell this junk on kijiji! Never deal with this company again.
Very Rude and bad customer service. I dropped off my bike and they changed the throttle and after pick off of the bike the screen was not working at all and my bike was not charging full, and after I called they told me to bring my bike back to inspect it for free and check if there is a issue caused by them and when I bought the bike back they told me they will call me back and after an hour he called me back and he was very very rude speaking to and after arguing I requested to transfer me to his manger and he closed the line in my face !!! very bad and disappointing
BEWARE this place starts out friendly. We paid for our bikes in full then we got the run around about delivering them for a week, delivered unroad worthy bikes and now our giving us the run around again about fixing them. I want my money back or a new bike I have trust issues now. Parts and services told me that the best they can do is pick them back up and fix it, now back to a run around. By the time this is all over the summer will be over I'm so upset. This company is lucky I don't post full details of what happened to me at North York Location.
Don't go near Daymac products I just aquired one through Easyhome supposed to be brand new cannot even go 10 km before the thing dies It is a Kingston model on afull charge for the most part flat to downhill terrain the occasional hill to climb died at 6 to 7 km.. My dad's Emoo has only been charged once over the course of this weekend and went out for a couple of rides before I took mine out and his was still at half power a 2015 model to! Daymac's look nice but is it worth it if you can't use them for what they are designed for?
Lousy service. I bought the florance ebike from shopping channel and used it 4 times and it broke. The pedals turn but nothing happens. I called Daymak and they said take it to Mississauga ( I live in Milton) to get it fixed. The bike won't move and it won't fit in my mini van.How do you suppose I get it there. I said is it warrantied? They said no. I call TSC and they said it has 1 year parts. It has only been 10 months. I will throw this $2500 bike in the trash where it belongs. Stay far away from Daymak!
Worst service ever! I've been waiting four weeks for them to pickup my bike for a throttle problem. They keep saying they will have the bike picked up "tomorrow". But nobody ever calls or shows up. When I call back, the guy I spoke to the day before is always off, so I always have to deal with a new person who keeps promising the same but I'm still waiting. What a joke!!!!!! Again today, Friday someone was supposed to pickup the Bike. By one o'clock no one showed up. So now it's putoff again 'til Monday
I ordered a bike in early December as a gift for my daughter. It arrived terribly damaged and Daymak wanted to send parts when I had asked them to have it fully assembled to avoid any warranty issues. UPS picked it up as damaged in its original package to return it to their customer, Daymak, on December 15th, 2015. Daymak has still not credited my account and have been completely non customer focused. I've spent so much time on this, I wish I could sue them for my time. NEVER order from this company.
Had to go pickup the customer scooter in London they kept saying tomorrow tomorrow it just never came. The only way he gets around for doctor's appointments $150 delivery fee drove him to pick up Ebike with towtruck 5 to 6 months . Check in the mailbox still no payment for delivery I would like to update the post the owner of e-bikes got in contact with us the gentleman that owns the bike received his payment in the mail we thank the owner of e-bikes for making this happen
I personally purchased a Daymak Austin Double e-bike and have no complaints whatsoever. There is definitely enough power for it to get me to 32km/h, and the range is more than enough for the places I need to travel to. For example, I was able to get from Morgan hill to Redwood city on a single charge, of course with the use of two batteries. I would recommend Daymak's e-bikes for someone not looking to spend a fortune, but still want the same quality experience of having an electric bike.
I purchase it last year, and so far almost every parts on it were loss. The way the power wire plug on the side of the . Made a couple bump and because the plug face downward it came apart a little at the time until it came off... Had to pouch it for a couple hours before I decide to see if I could figure out what it was. Until I saw the wire unplug. The speedometer suck, tells me I got 56 hours left end up dying 20 minutes later... Long walk... Otherwise good..
went to their retail store today, ebikeuniverse and could not believe the selection, there were so many models my eyes bugged out, so many colours to choose from, my only complaint would be too much selection, ultimately I ended up choosing a daymak 72v Eagle in green, bike is beautiful, looks similar to my old gas scooter, had a great time looking at bikes and the staff treated me great, I appreciated how knowledgable they were. I can't wait to go pick up my bike this week.
this is the worst place to shop at. bought a scooter in september, i had a plastic piece that broke over the rear tire and i called in last year they said there was a recall to call in january and i’ve been trying to call for 2 months straight and no one answers. i come in to the store no one is there. worst place to shop at. i leave messages and still no reply. i will be taking this further anyways since i have warranty. good thing to have lawyers.
Worst Customer Service Possible. I have been calling almost every week since August 2016 for a part for my dad's scooter with still no luck (Dec 2016). Terrible customer service - they wouldn't even call me instead of me having to call them (I've called now over 15 times - and they never remember who I am). Lack of care for customers and terrible follow through with ordering or even transferring parts. I would never recommend going to this company.
Was driving on the 400 hwy today at 10:00am exactly and this green company van w from ebike universe was tailing a foot away from my car! He continued to follow so closely behind me until we got off at Finch, then he turned right on Oakdale Rd aggressively without signaling. Very dangerous driving from your employee, maybe late for their shift and a bad look for your business! We are a biking family too so will not be recommending their services.
I haven't bought anything from Daymak. At least, not yet. I'm looking to buy an EM1 and all my questions from the vehicle to simple things such as payment options are being answered with great detail. Sometimes it does take a couple of minutes or even hours to get a reply back to your E-mail but the service you get is worth the wait. I hope I am able to buy the EM1 due to my money situation so I can give Daymak a proper review!
I have no choice but to put 1 star but this place is trash don't ever buy or get your e-bike fixed here employees like to lie and physically assault u and make u pay for thing they break the Manger the west Indian at the desk also has no manners and poor understanding of personal space I personally had to call cops because he likes to assault customers when it doesn't go his way I want everyone to know about this place
Had my scooter delivered to the location as I'm 2 hours away, since receiving my scooter back. My batteries no longer charge, my brakes are sloppy to engage, my charger doesn't work. I called multiple times to ensure all work was done, scooter was returned without specified work done. When I called to discuss this I was hung up on. I would never recommend them, I've never had such a terrible customer experience.
I had a great experience here. I went in to get some advice and look at the bike options and Frank was very helpful in his advice and helping me figure out my best fit. The selection is great here, and even though I ended up going elsewhere to get a bike, I came back to get a helmet and will definitely be back for any future repair needs or anything else, because I had a great experience.
I bought a scooter from these people & last Xmas I bought a jeep for my grandson, which he just loves. I am actually going back today to buy some more stuff. I had some service done on my scooter & they looked after it & also had it done on time. I have had no problems whatsoever with them, plus they laugh at my jokes. I am also going to look at the new enclosed scooter for purchase.
Spent $500 and only 1/2 the repairs were completed. Had the bike shipped at my cost the first and second time and they completely lied about what they did. Daniel who claims to be the highest level Daymak executives told me to take him to court as he does not give a f$%#. They charge $100 per hour and write nothing on the work invoice as to what they did!!!!Stay away.
I bought a BEAST as a gift for my husband over the chat, amazing customer service . They offer me free shipping in GTA + extended warranty witch includes 2 years motor and frame and 6 month everything manufacture defect for ONLY 139$ extra . My husband loves it and most important thing No Problem so far after 10 months. Will suggest it to anybody in Canada . Keep up.

Bought Daymak PitHog 250 cc dirt bike back 5+ years ago. Looks great. Sounds great. Absolute pile of junk. Not sure who at DOT / CSA is sleeping but my bike within 6 months had no fuel lines left nor seals in the carb. No fuel grade material is used...list goes on an on. It is an excuse to consume parts and labour. Far far more time maintaining than riding.
bought a pink monaco today, got a great deal, it was a floor model special for $649, We were impressed with the knowledge of the floor staff and the quality of the items on the showroom floor. I wasn't expecting the size of it from the outside. bike being delivered this week, i'm excited to ride it, sun is out and snow is melting !!!

Very disappointed in the North York customer service. Had my bike picked up for a tire repair and bearings, now after spending 648.00,my tire makes a constant rubbing sound, I found the old bearings in the headlight which they forgot to bolt back on, and they insist its not their problem. Terrible customer service.
I had to get my E-Scooter repaired on Feb 16th, It was a very good experience. from help taking scooter off the van to repair and advice. Lloyd was the person I dealt with . The customer and scooter service both were very good, honest and open. Would go there again for business. Great work
Have visited this place a few times and they've done a great job with fixing my Daymak Em2. They charge you a decent amount for labor but make the most for the time. There was a slight complication with the my last repair but Ryan made it right with a phone call. Excellent place!
Why show instore shopping if it's not allowed. Can't give me proper information on products. Not allowed to trial on helmet. I offered to put a plastic bag on head first before trying out the helmet and they refuse. How can we buy a safety helmet without knowing if it fits.

Purchased my tricycle almost 6 months ago, had an issue with a battery (I guess). Guys could not fix it and replaced with a brand new tricycle. I am very happy now, since there are no problems with the new one. Manager is very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
i had my boomerbuggy x in to get the engine star/stop button fixed and they did not fix it they said they fixed a broken wire witch was not the problem the problem was the battery in the button. they wont give a refund back for some thing the don't fix.
i hope all accessories and parts must be included and you must write our RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number clearly on the outside of the carton or we will refuse your shipment. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Daymak bikes my look nice. But I have had nothing but problems with my bike since day 1. Its only 2.5 months old and it still not working right despite going in 4 times. Stay away from Daymak bikes period. My last bike was a Gio it was wonderful.

I brought my old non Dayak e bicycle to them, they managed to fix it and replaced the battery. It took 2 weeks and about $100 for labour + component. It has been 3 months now it works smoothly I can't live without the bike.

I have 24 volt pairs ebike love it , it light weight . I did get extra battery, I ride it everyday 2 hrs . I have it for two month now thanks to guys in Barrie on Dunlop
