I attended school here and was a prefect, matriculating in 2018. Was a mostly negative experience and had a lot of underlying social issues that weren't dealt with properly. Sports-wise only certain sports (hockey and football mainly) and sporting teams (first teams) within those sports are given attention. Most other sports are neglected both administratively and financially. The overall social vibe of the school is negative and little is done to rectify those issues as they are seen as "petty" and not important. However it creates a negative schooling environment for many students. Most of these reviews are from the aspects of parents who have a warped view of what actually happens at the school.

Great principal, great school facilities. Always felt like I was attending a private school, I appreciate all the teachers, they truly teach with their Heart. Mr Lawrence is one of the best principals you'll ever meet. I was a naughty kid but looking back over the years all my teachers ever wanted was for me to succeed. Mr Solomons (physics) is a natural genius, Mrs Moreland the most loving and kind funny yet strict teacher there is lol and my all time favorite Mrs Volgraaf who simply is all in one. If you're considering this neighborhood or school - I would not hesitate a second. Your kids will grow and you will be more than happy with your decision. Vitam Abundantius Habere all the way!

Only certain groups are taken into consideration Physical Education teachers are rude to the kids if they don’t want to do something because they feel uncomfortable in front of their peers, instead of doing general PT they make kids do certain sports like rugby or soccer if you want to do that you need to consider everyone not everyone likes that sport you need to have a general part as well

....This was one of the Best High Schools in the Area of Edgemead, Montevista & Bothasig! Both our children completed their high schooling here during the tenureship of Dr. Venter who proved to be an Excellent Principle. .....

It's my first year at the school and i'm enjoying every minute of it! Many opportunities at the school, great sport coach's, teachers and education. The Arts, Drama and Music is incredible

I can only comment on a time when my daughter attended ( - 2008) A well disciplined school with the majority of teaching staff commited to proving a good education. Thank you Mr Venter.

Very proud to have been part of EHS, I don't have to comment on the quality of teaching because the 100% Matric pass rate for 2019 speaks volumes. Thank you for everything EHS

I actually almost got expelled from this school like in the first 3 months of 2022 (my first year of high school) because I wore a skirt to school. (I'm a guy, I'm straight)
