Some call it the Fine Arts Academy, but I refuse to call it by that name. It will always be Edgewood High School to me. I am very proud to say I sent 8th graders for 27 years to Edgewood High School to become Red Raiders: 1968 to 1995 I am equally proud of my almost half-century association and service to the EISD. Edgewood High has produced the first federal judge in San Antonio's history, as well a number of Ph.Ds, physicians, lawyers, community leaders , teachers & just all around fantastic people ! Edgewood High graduates have made a very positive impact on the fabric of the City of San Antonio. The city would not be as great a city as it is without them. I never taught at Edgewood High, but at heart, I still consider myself a very proud Red Raider ! Go Red Raiders ! Go Red Raiders forever ! The TRUE Pride of the Westside! PS Visited the EHS gym today (10/15). Saw all the EHS & Escobar memorabilia stored there. What a nostalgia rush !
